My son is a burger kid and we chose to come here for his 19th birthday dinner and the food was beyond amazing. All the ingredients fresh as if we were in a fine dining restaurant. The burgers and French fries had so many options. My son normally does just meat and bread, but he stepped outside of the box and tried the applewood brie burger, and it was amazing. We also had the Sriracha chicken wings, which were really good seasoned to perfection just the right amount of heat and sweetness. We left their feeling full and satisfied our waiter. Ian was beyond customer service friendly. He remember all four orders without writing them down he checked on us multiple times he gave us details on each dish we inquired about. It was okay. They were pretty busy for trivia night. The food took a while to come out which was fine but mine wasn't very hot. I had asked my server what he recommended between the Applewood and the PB&J burgers and he said the Applewood was really good. It was alright. I didn't really taste much of the cheese on it, it was a little bland. My partner got the BBB burger and that one was pretty good. I liked the sweet potato fries with the pumpkin sauce that came as my side. My partner loves the bacon ketchup. Trivia night was good. They were quick at first but then the questions slowed down quite a bit and left us a little bored between questions. The physical challenge round of holding up a beer stein was interesting and I'm not sure if I liked it or not. The featured category for the night was Disney Parks trivia and the website said there would be two rounds of it. There ended up only being one unless you count the physical challenge because they put Gaston's name on it. I did not see anywhere on their website, reservation system, or the trivia posting that there were any requirements to play trivia. It was about to start and the hostest announced that each person in our trivia groups were required to purchase an entree in order to play. I don't know if they enforced this but that was frustrating to hear that when we had no warning and were not planning on having an entire dinner. They handed out the trivia sheets before announcing it and didn't warn us then either. The trivia itself was a decent mix of difficulty for questions. The trivia prizes are linked to how much you spent which we found odd but understandable. (1st place gets a Slater 50/50 gift card worth 25% of their total check amount. 2nd gets 15%, 3rd gets 10%) This ended up feeling like a mediocre night. I had made a reservation through Yelp ahead of time, but when we arrived, we were still told it would be a 15-20 minute wait--even though there was literally no one waiting ahead of us. It made me wonder what the point of making a reservation was. It quickly became clear that they were extremely understaffed. Our waiter was also the bartender, and everything took FOREVER. We ended up being there for almost 3 hours, which is a really long time, especially with kids. The food, however, was pretty good! The kids loved their chicken tenders, pizza, and shake. The chicken wings were really good too--super crispy--and overall we were happy with the food. The prices were also very reasonable. I really wanted to rate this place higher because the food was good, but the extremely long wait and service time made the experience frustrating. They definitely need more staff. My son's friend had the 50/50 with sunnyside up and after a few bites of the yolk-runny burger, his brown beard had orange and yellow clumps of egg with green chilies, giving it a cheery Autumnal look...worth it for that juicy of a burger. Gave a thumbs up for the salted lime lager too. But as a fry snob (sometimes over-critical), I have to put the ones here on par with what you might order at a Saturday morning Little League concession stand, between innings. The garlic topping and kitchen-made dipping sauces (bacon ketchup, ranch) helped, but like many other pre-frozen fries, they're just starchy sticks of mediocrity. Onion rings were heavily panko-ed, not much seasoning, and they amounted to razor-thin slivers of onion inside a thick shell. But I returned after my son and Yellowbeard left town and found out they came up with a better potato option called 'Hangover Tater Keg', a plus sized tater tot filled with cheddar, bits of bacon, and sour cream inside. The entire time at the table, we were being watched nonstop by a girl who was inhaling her own 50/50 burger as we were. Whenever anyone asks where the best burgers are in Las Vegas, I always direct them to Slater's 50/50. Since we'd been here last (over a year ago), they definitely spruced up the place. It's the same decor vibe as when we were last here, but they added more items, which actually really helps improve the atmosphere inside. And, the menu somehow got bigger! They now have an 'all you can eat' option, starting at $28 and it has two more tiers that go up to $58 for a Wagyu Feast! Any way you choose, it's a ton of UNLIMITED yummy food! Also, for $15 - $20, add on unlimited craft beers & mimosas! (Next time, we'll take an Uber so we can indulge!) We ordered off the regular menu this round, as we were both craving something specific. We started with the Bacon Mac & Cheese Balls appetizer. It always hits the spot. So, good! I had a Applewood Brie Burger with Sweet Potato Fries. Absolutely delicious! My husband changed his mind at the last minute, being enticed by the ChimiBurgao menu description. He was very happy, he said it was marvelous! We also shared a beer flight, which appealed to him more than me. I only liked one, lol. But, with over 50 craft beers to try, I'm sure I could be convinced to try more. Our server was so nice! Shawn was our server. It took a few moments for him to get to us, but once he did, service overall great! It was kind of strange to see another guy just standing there watching TV while Shawn made the drinks, took the orders, and more. Just an observation. It didn't affect his service. Tons of burger and sides options. Happy hour specials 3-6. We tried the wings for an app. They were good. Very saucey. Drinks and food were really good. I had a burger and my husband had the grilled chicken sandwich. They are generous with sauces, and Shawn brought us waters to go without us asking. I also would have added a 2nd patty if I've known, however their busy (and multiple) menus are too overwhelming! I did enjoy my Sculpin Draft Beer. Unfortunately the BBQ Pork Belly Flatbread is mediocre with its premade crust. The gouda cheese & fresh cilantro are nice, but the pork belly didn't taste freshly made. Got the fried mozzarella appetizer and the Nashville hot chicken sandwich with side of fries and bacon ketchup. Bacon ketchup was flavorful, I liked the flavor. Bacon-like. Fried mozzarella had a nice crunch on the outside, liked the cheese pull. Only thing is I needed to add salt to it with the marinara sauce on top. But I've also been told I sometimes add salt when other people think food doesn't need it so take that with a grain of salt (haha). Chicken sandwich was good with bites of the jalapeño but I personally needed to add more salt to my bites to make it more enjoyable. Again, could just be me. Our server was super attentive, making sure to refill our waters all the time, asking us to not sure what their name (I'm bad at remembering names sorry!!) is but they have a light colored beard and tall. Ambiance was cool since I came for trivia night. Trivia had a total of 8 rounds including a wager round. I went with my lunch group on a Tuesday at noon and there was one other party of two. I hope they get busier as I'd hate to lose them. I got the Backyard Burger with the regular fries for $19.50 which was pricey I thought but that's the way of the world lately! It was very good. Their ketchup has bacon in it. It just tasted smokey to me. Two girls got the patty melt with the sweet potato fries they liked their food. The fries came with a pumpkin dip which was really good. The portions of the fries was small to me but they were good. No one got a milkshake but I bet they were delicious. At $16.99 I just couldn't! Another gal got the highbrow burger. She said it was delicious. Another lady got the vampire dip. It was huge. They did Separate Checks which is always a bonus for us and they ask you how you want your burger cooked and it came out perfectly done. The reason for the four stars instead of five was the price. My son had been craving a wagyu burger, so we finally checked out Slater's 50/50 in Las Vegas. We visited the Lake Mead & Buffalo location, and they also have another location on East Silverado Ranch. We tried the $58 AYCE Wagyu Feast, which includes 2 hours of unlimited made-to-order Australian wagyu burgers and appetizers. The burgers were juicy, flavorful, and cooked fresh every round. The Vampire Skillet totally lived up to the hype with the epic cheese pull, and of course we had to try the 24K gold burger for the full Vegas experience. We also ordered the strawberry shake and banana shake, and both were thick, creamy, and really good with the burgers. Big shoutout to our server Amanda for being so friendly and attentive throughout the meal. Definitely a fun spot for burger lovers in Vegas. read more

We were all very under whelmed. We love fried pickles and the ones here tasted like they had been made far in advance and were flavorless - as was the dipping sauce. I think because they offer all you can eat the must stock up on the fried food to accommodate a rush. Making the pickles and fries dull and lifeless. I would have returned the pickles but the one waitress in our section was very busy and didn't have time to circle back. The turkey burger was just Ok. Not sure why there was an up charge for mushrooms when there was barely any on there. My friend was charged $0.50 for mustard - while the menu says an up charge for extra sauces I don't consider ketchup and mustard as needing an up charge in a place that is known for Burgers! I came here for trivia and rallied some friends to join me. I was embarrassed by how disappointing the food was. Known for the beers and have a whole bunch of tap handles everywhere Ordered the best damn bacon cheeseburger with onion rings and the wife got the patty melt with tots. She got a mixed drink while I got a 4 beer sampler She loved her patty melt, comes with extra cheese and she's a cheese lover. Tots were really good with jalapeno cheese on the side for dipping. My cheeseburger was good but not the best. I'd say was mid at best. A solid burger but can't hype it up as the best' then not deliver! Onion rings were good. Slater's 50/50 - All You Can Eat: One Good Burger Does Not a Meal Make (2/5) The words "all you can eat burgers" got us. At $28 a head, everyone at the table has to be in, no exceptions. We committed and went full send. We covered a lot of ground: mac and cheese balls, jalapeno poppers, onion rings, sweet potato fries, wings in Parmesan and Thai chili, plus a handful of burgers and sandwiches including the Backyard Classic, Patty Melt, Screamin' Hot Chicken Sandwich, Wagyu Dip, and the High Brow Burger. The appetizers were fine, nothing that's going to make you text your friends about it. The bigger issue running through most of the food was the grease. Not fresh, clean grease either, more like oil that had been cooking since the morning rush. It muted everything. The one exception was the High Brow Burger. Actually really good. Stood out from the rest like it came from a different kitchen. Service was slow out of the gate for a place that wasn't exactly packed, but drinks kept moving once things got going so it balanced out a little. Would I go back? Doubtful. Maybe happy hour to keep it low stakes, but for $28 a person I expected more than one thing worth ordering. Not our first time here. Have not had a bad time here or even at either location. Had a last min date with the Mom and my mister. We were sat quickly. Only complaint is there were only 2 menus and 3 of us. I used my phone to look up the menu. Not a big deal but I prefer an actual menu. We went with the baconpolousa app. Delicious! My mom and the mister really enjoyed the bacon jam. We all enjoyed our entrees. The pumpkin sauce for sweet potato fries was fire! And I'm not a pumpkin fan!
