    Wagyu dip burger

Slater's 50/50 - All You Can Eat: One Good Burger Does Not a Meal Make (2/5) The words "all you can eat burgers" got us. At $28 a head, everyone at the table has to be in, no exceptions. We committed and went full send. We covered a lot of ground: mac and cheese balls, jalapeno poppers, onion rings, sweet potato fries, wings in Parmesan and Thai chili, plus a handful of burgers and sandwiches including the Backyard Classic, Patty Melt, Screamin' Hot Chicken Sandwich, Wagyu Dip, and the High Brow Burger. The appetizers were fine, nothing that's going to make you text your friends about it. The bigger issue running through most of the food was the grease. Not fresh, clean grease either, more like oil that had been cooking since the morning rush. It muted everything. The one exception was the High Brow Burger. Actually really good. Stood out from the rest like it came from a different kitchen. Service was slow out of the gate for a place that wasn't exactly packed, but drinks kept moving once things got going so it balanced out a little. Would I go back? Doubtful. Maybe happy hour to keep it low stakes, but for $28 a person I expected more than one thing worth ordering. The High Brow Burger has potential, everything else was just average on a good day.

My son had been craving a wagyu burger, so we finally checked out Slater's 50/50 in Las Vegas. We visited the Lake Mead & Buffalo location, and they also have another location on East Silverado Ranch. We tried the $58 AYCE Wagyu Feast, which includes 2 hours of unlimited made-to-order Australian wagyu burgers and appetizers. The burgers were juicy, flavorful, and cooked fresh every round. The Vampire Skillet totally lived up to the hype with the epic cheese pull, and of course we had to try the 24K gold burger for the full Vegas experience. We also ordered the strawberry shake and banana shake, and both were thick, creamy, and really good with the burgers. Big shoutout to our server Amanda for being so friendly and attentive throughout the meal. Definitely a fun spot for burger lovers in Vegas.

Whenever anyone asks where the best burgers are in Las Vegas, I always direct them to Slater's 50/50. Since we'd been here last (over a year ago), they definitely spruced up the place. It's the same decor vibe as when we were last here, but they added more items, which actually really helps improve the atmosphere inside. And, the menu somehow got bigger! They now have an 'all you can eat' option, starting at $28 and it has two more tiers that go up to $58 for a Wagyu Feast! Any way you choose, it's a ton of UNLIMITED yummy food! Also, for $15 - $20, add on unlimited craft beers & mimosas! (Next time, we'll take an Uber so we can indulge!) We ordered off the regular menu this round, as we were both craving something specific. We started with the Bacon Mac & Cheese Balls appetizer. It always hits the spot. So, good! I had a Applewood Brie Burger with Sweet Potato Fries. Absolutely delicious! My husband changed his mind at the last minute, being enticed by the ChimiBurgao menu description. He was very happy, he said it was marvelous! We also shared a beer flight, which appealed to him more than me. I only liked one, lol. But, with over 50 craft beers to try, I'm sure I could be convinced to try more. Our server was so nice! She provided very good service! Another successful date at Slater's 50/50! We'll be back sooner than later next time, and we'll catch a ride. Unlimited food & beer/mimosas sounds like an even better date! You'll catch me here in my stretchy pants!

Our 1st time to come here and it did not disappoint. The servings are HUGE, we couldn't even finish our food! We'll try to come back and try the AYCE or other burgers.

Not our first time here. Have not had a bad time here or even at either location. Had a last min date with the Mom and my mister. We were sat quickly. Only complaint is there were only 2 menus and 3 of us. I used my phone to look up the menu. Not a big deal but I prefer an actual menu. We went with the baconpolousa app. Delicious! My mom and the mister really enjoyed the bacon jam. We all enjoyed our entrees. The pumpkin sauce for sweet potato fries was fire! And I'm not a pumpkin fan! All delicious and our server was friendly and helpful. We didn't order adult beverages but they have lots of beer choices. There is an all you can eat feature but since we all can't eat a lot we didn't venture into that.

Service 10/10, Ambiance 10/10, Food 4/10 Overall, disappointing food based off the great reviews. The atmosphere inside is awesome, and the staff was super friendly, which was about the only positive. The food quality here does not match the price. The Original 50/50 Burger was OK. The egg was cooked perfectly, along with the roasted chili pepper, brioche bun and sauce, but I wouldn't come back for that price. I also would have added a 2nd patty if I've known, however their busy (and multiple) menus are too overwhelming! I did enjoy my Sculpin Draft Beer. Unfortunately the BBQ Pork Belly Flatbread is mediocre with its premade crust. The gouda cheese & fresh cilantro are nice, but the pork belly didn't taste freshly made. It was half price for Happy Hour; glad I didn't pay the full $20 for it. My daughter's $10 Cheeseburger Kid's Meal was decent for the price. That came with fries and a drink. We had high hopes, but with so many other gourmet burger places in Vegas, we doubt we'll return.

Hello burger!!! Damn, this is delicious.

We will definitely be back. Had a womdful experience with Dave. He explained the menu and the many delicious bacon options. All his recommendations were absolutely fantastic. The menu was mind blowing. I need more time. A bacon flight....take me away!!! Fastest way to end a relationship with a Vegan, take them to 50/50.

My friend wanted a top notch burger for his birthday while visiting Vegas. A quick search and Slater's 50/50 caught our eye. We both did the "build your own" burger. They were amazing. The ground bacon really gives the burger a unique, juicy rich flavor. Lots of fry choices... I had the pimento cheese fries and my date had the sweet potato fries. Excellent service and amazing food!

Slaters 50/50 known for their 50/50 burger patty is a definite place to try. Their happy hour is generous and the service is on spot! This visit we stepped away from the beef and tried the delicious vampire dip. It is a mouth watering cheese bread bowl that's sure meets expectations! Then moved on to the kona chicken lettuce wraps which were a delightful surprise. And you can't go wrong when its happy hour. I'll be back slaters to get that 24k burger!

There once was a saying. "If a guessing between two answers is a 50/50 chance. Why do most people get it wrong 80 percent of the time." A bit of humor considering that Slaters is a win win choice, with no guessing required. The omnienc sets the standards for a Dutch date. Or perhaps the 50/50 represents a business partnership. Half creative artistry minded. Half restaurant hospitality minded.

Yooooo, on top of the epic service by Shawn, who got everything done and made great recommendations. The food here is amazing. Gotta shout of this Vampire Cheese. Artichoke and garlic infused cheese! Inside a jalapeno popper?! Whaaaa? Phenomenal! Thank you so much Shawn. Was an amazing experience. This place is an all around good vibe with music not too loud and trivia nights on Tuesday. Hell yeah!

We were all very under whelmed. We love fried pickles and the ones here tasted like they had been made far in advance and were flavorless - as was the dipping sauce. I think because they offer all you can eat the must stock up on the fried food to accommodate a rush. Making the pickles and fries dull and lifeless. I would have returned the pickles but the one waitress in our section was very busy and didn't have time to circle back. The turkey burger was just Ok. Not sure why there was an up charge for mushrooms when there was barely any on there. My friend was charged $0.50 for mustard - while the menu says an up charge for extra sauces I don't consider ketchup and mustard as needing an up charge in a place that is known for Burgers! I came here for trivia and rallied some friends to join me. I was embarrassed by how disappointing the food was. Not to mention the trivia mentioned 2 rounds of elf trivia and there was only one round. The server was delightful and the restaurant was clean and had a decent vibe -- plenty of sports on TVs. I didn't take many photos because we were engaged with the trivia. We won't be back.

Heard about AYCE burgers and had to stop by. Our server Tracy were amazing. She took good care of us and made sure our drinks were always full! Burger definitely star food of the day, cooked to perfection and juicy. Will definitely come back and hopefully get our same server!

    Ask the Community - Slater's 50/50

Does the whole table have to do the all you can eat?

    Yes!

    Is it family friendly?

Yes. They even have a kids menu.

How loud is it there? I'm looking for a place to go with someone recovering from an illness.

    I would go elsewhere

    What on the new happy?

Happy Hour runs Mon-Fri 3-6pm, featuring 90 minutes of bottomless bar for just $20, plus $2 off all cocktails, wines, and beers, and a bunch of half off appetizers.

    Is this business kid friendly?

Yes, they have a kids themed table booth that has its own T.V. showing kids kids programs at the Lake Mead location in Summerlin.

Is there still an option to order a customized burger? I haven't been to Slaters 50/50 in about 7 years, so I wasn't sure if it has changed. Thanks!

    Yes!

Can we bring a cake to restaurant?

I haven't seen a birthday party in the 2 times I've been. I would just call and ask

The most important questions..do you have happy hour, what time is it, and what are the specials?

Hence, the entire draft selection at all of their locations consists of craft beers made by independent breweries. The centerpiece of this location at Tenaya is the impressive selection of 50 rotating craft beers on tap. This includes plenty of strong beers for hardcore craft beer enthusiasts like myself. Now, it also includes beers made by the newest location in their family, Evolve Brewing. The size of the location is also impressive. It is divided into a gaming tavern (with ashtrays and video poker machines on the bar), beerhall sports bar, outdoor patio, and private event space. To me, the most unique item on their food menu--and its claim to fame--is the Eddie Spaghetti pizza. As Aces & Ales has evolved--no pun intended--the business has placed more emphasis on its food menu. Historically, their kitchen was secondary to their draft selection. Now, the business wants to be a restaurant first, and taproom second. Upon being seated, you are handed oversize food menus with heavy lamination (as done at their Evolve Brewing location at The Bend). These overshadow the single beer menu provided separately on a smaller sheet of paper. The server is trained to use scripted language to further induce you to order food. In other words, it's not the kind of place you can come for a beer without being expected to order food. Though, that is what the name of the business implies. I'm okay with the concept of the restaurant being primary, and the craft beers secondary. As long as this is reflected in the business name. For example, why not call it, "Aces & Ales Tavern, Restaurant & Taproom"? Similarly, "Evolve Restaurant & Brewery"? Another surprise during my most recent visit came after paying my bill by credit card. The server returned with a receipt that included a 2.99% "credit card surcharge." First of all, why is it not rounded to the 3% that it really is? Secondly, this is not a typical fee charged by restaurants. Therefore, shouldn't it be disclosed to customers before accepting their credit card? Furthermore, does this lack of transparency have the potential to discourage repeat business? Or, more frequent business from regular customers?

I am an active player sometimes I win, break even or lose however as of recently I've had issues getting my food and drink comped I almost always order from the player menu and many times I have to remind the bartender to take the discount off the bill. Today was the worst example of this I had 3 drinks within the space of 40 minutes or so with active play I just so happened to break even in this time and I had a meal from the players menu. The bartender Juan while friendly and attentive gave me a bill with no drinks comped and full price on the players menu when I asked him about this and tried to get the drinks taken off he told me it worked like every other bar that I had to play $1 or more a hand and lose $20 per drink but I broke even so they aren't comped. Well that's not how any other bar works in all my time playing at various bars including this one my drinks have been comped whether I win or lose and I've always played 1.25 a hand or more so this was perplexing that not a single drink I ordered was covered after almost an hour of continuous play. I eventually got him to at least give me the players discount but still paid for every single drink. Perhaps I had too many drinks within the time frame but I should have at least had one of them comped I've never run into a bar that doesn't comp drinks for play it's just so standard but if this is the new policy of the Tavern I will find someplace else to gamble. Getting drinks comped is the bare minimum of a gaming bar if their policy has changed it is no longer worth it to visit and I would recommend any of the many competitors to this bar just for this factor alone. I'm assuming it is the bartenders discretion in which case I've never had an issue with Ted this is my first time seeing the other bartender Juan I will not be returning when he is there.

The carne asada plate included a small amount of grilled onions and grilled jalapeno with rice, beans, lettuce, guac, and your choice of flour or corn tortillas. One of my favorites was the flour tortillas. It tastes homemade and I love the soft flavor. The carne asada wasn't as good as I remembered as it could use a little more flavor. It included only a small amount of grilled onions, which was kind of disappointing. I enjoyed the Mexican hot chocolate, although it was a bit on the sweeter side. Overall I enjoyed this place because it's more on the authentic side.
