First time coming to this place love the fact how I was greeted when I first walked in. Took my time looking over the menu, I decided to get some breakfast to start my day. Decided to get chicken fried steak and hash browns, and a side of toast. Food was served nice and hot, couldn't complain. Before I left I checked out the restroom it was spotless and well stocked I would come here again in thr future.

So disappointed. I got the chili cheese fries with onions. The chilli and fries were both undercooked. The cheese tasted old as well. The fries were soft and not crunchy and the chilli had a very odd taste. I took a few bites and had to throw it away. I'm on a hunt for the best chili cheese fries in Las Vegas. I was told the chilli cheese fries here were good. So I came to try. Very disappointed.

I have always wanted to go inside this really cool, unique looking building on the south east corner of lakemead and buffalo. It is so cute. It looks 2 story but it is only one which is great for ADA. Its clean, the tables, bathroom and bar all were. It looks a little rough around the edges but that is intentional a d part of the apeal. The inside is fun and themed fantastically. The staff were friendly and Helpful to a first timer. They have tables to eat at if you dont want to gamble or you can sit at the bar. My servers were Teresa, Nickki and Christy. All very nice ladies and made me comfortable and made me laugh. I ordered a Philly, I couldnt decide between that or the French Dip Sandwich but I finally settled on the Philly becouse I think ppl can get very critical of them. I thought it was great, at 17.00, maybe a dollar or 2 more then I would charge, however the service and the taste definitely make up for it. Unfortunately they do not offer military discount, if they did even 10% I would be back every week! It has ample parking. Worth leaving the strip for but it is definitely a neighborhood bar. They have the Games on. They have a lot of patriot fans but They are a cowboys bar. If you want a break from a busy day and want good, laid back vibes head over to Charlies 100% recommended!

Biscuits and gravy... Thought the biscuits should have been fluffier. I was wrong .. it worked!!

I thought I was going to be disappointed in the biscuits and gravy I got, by the look of them... They were actually pretty darn great!

First time here. Stopped in for a quick lunch. Had chicken fingers and cheese and broccoli soup - both were good. Services excellent. Very quiet at 2:30-3:00.

Came here with some coworkers one morning after work for breakfast. I'm glad I ordered the small stack of pancake cause they are huge, fluffy and filling! Service was friendly and fantastic. They knew how to keep the humor going after working 12 hours and just let us rant for a bit. Sorry we did get kind of loud. Overall, a good atmosphere to grab a bite to eat.

Tried for the first time with a friend & it was great! Food came out quick within 15-20 min. Had the jalapeño burger & it was delicious. Got margaritas on the rocks with salt which were decent too! Staff was friendly! Enjoyed playing some deuces wild in between eating & drinking. I would definitely go back!

Always open and always have great food with some awesome people. Brian was the bartender tonight. A Friendly guy who gave some great food suggestions. We ended up getting the Down under Sliders w/ garlic parmesan fries, and the loaded tater tots. The slider are so good! Served with brioche buns and grilled onions. The flavors are definitely working in conjunction with one another to bring you all the tasty goodness! The loaded tots...all the cheesy, baconey, tater tottery, deliciousness you can ask for. Loaded is an understatement. You will not be disappointed. Come see Brian or any of the other fine people who work here.

So wifey and I wanted to try something new rather than a 5 normal places and we were looking around…read moreon Yelp and came across this bar! Walking in the vibes are it, very beach forward themed smaller restaurant area and decency size bar with keno machines. The bartender is friendly and super welcoming. Everything is decorated so cute as well. We sat at 2 machines, got cards, and your first 20 points you get $20 freeplay so that's a bonus. The machines we are on are keeping us on our toes. The menu is a decent size we ordered the pulled pork sandwich & the French Toast & both were BOMB. The flavor on the pork was amazing and the sweet roll French toast was just sweet enough. Would highly recommend and we will be returning. 06/03 10:00 PM

I've been coming here for a while now and overall it's been a good experience but recently I've had…read moresome issues with how the bar comps drinks and food. I am an active player sometimes I win, break even or lose however as of recently I've had issues getting my food and drink comped I almost always order from the player menu and many times I have to remind the bartender to take the discount off the bill. Today was the worst example of this I had 3 drinks within the space of 40 minutes or so with active play I just so happened to break even in this time and I had a meal from the players menu. The bartender Juan while friendly and attentive gave me a bill with no drinks comped and full price on the players menu when I asked him about this and tried to get the drinks taken off he told me it worked like every other bar that I had to play $1 or more a hand and lose $20 per drink but I broke even so they aren't comped. Well that's not how any other bar works in all my time playing at various bars including this one my drinks have been comped whether I win or lose and I've always played 1.25 a hand or more so this was perplexing that not a single drink I ordered was covered after almost an hour of continuous play. I eventually got him to at least give me the players discount but still paid for every single drink. Perhaps I had too many drinks within the time frame but I should have at least had one of them comped I've never run into a bar that doesn't comp drinks for play it's just so standard but if this is the new policy of the Tavern I will find someplace else to gamble. Getting drinks comped is the bare minimum of a gaming bar if their policy has changed it is no longer worth it to visit and I would recommend any of the many competitors to this bar just for this factor alone. I'm assuming it is the bartenders discretion in which case I've never had an issue with Ted this is my first time seeing the other bartender Juan I will not be returning when he is there.

The offer of spirits is enticing, but our drive keeps us from indulging in it. It's a nice atmosphere, and the staff is fantastic. My wife, who generally does not eat fried foods, took a chicken tender from my plate on our first visit. She was hooked! From that point on, we ordered chicken tenders for her, and I would select something different - something always good. She enjoyed the tenders because they reminded her of her childhood. Apparently, someone in her family had a similar delicious recipe. It was tasty, tender, and juicy - not greasy. On our last visit in June, she ordered the chicken tenders again, but this time it was different. Instead of 6 or 7 generously sized tenders, she received 4 small portions that did not have the same taste. In addition, they were tough and dry (overcooked?). I'm not sure if this is a matter of "shrinkflation," but we're not going to order that again. It's a shame. It was the best chicken we ever had - and we are in our seventies! We will continue to enjoy the beer, the atmosphere, and the food - but not the chicken. The loss for the establishment is that the chicken recipe would have been a legend.

The weather was perfect, making it an ideal setting to celebrate two cherished occasions (Mom's heavenly birthday and our parents' anniversary). Great service by Alix who kept Brando's waterbowl filled and an endless supply of ice cookies.

You can't smell the smoke inside the dining room and was told by the waitress that there was a great air filtration system in the dining room. We started with some appetizers. We tried the bacon wrapped stuffed shrimp and some lemon pepper wings. I enjoyed the shrimp but my wife felt they were overcooked. The wings were crispy and juicy with just the right amount of lemon pepper. Next we ordered our meal. I ordered the Texas beef dip with French fries and a bowl of Texas chili. The beef dip sandwich was filled nicely with a generous amount of beef. Beef was tender and flavorful. Real Texas chili has no beans and that was fine by me. The chili was very good. I'd order it again for sure. My wife ordered the salmon which she said was cooked perfectly. Her meal also came with asparagus and a salad. Her only complaint was the asparagus was a little too salty but noted it was cooked to perfection. We enjoyed the decor and we had a great time. Bonus points because they offer Coca-Cola products! We will be back for sure.
