Jason and Sky are the fucking goats ! This has definitely become our go to spot after work !

Just a working class Honky Tonk.

This place is off the beaten path for sure, but worth the hunt. It is a working class Honky Tonk with great food and hardworking servers. Kim was working her tail off today. There is always something going on here, today they were doing a car show. Cool dark bar, live bands, stiff drinks and music. Yep that's all you need.

Great place. They have a big dance floor. Wish it was a night with a live band. They play a variety of different music over the speakers. Very good service and delicious food!!! Want a game of pool, they have 2 tables to choose from. They have a jukebox to choose many songs from. Appetizer nachos supreme with asada. Made with real nacho cheese. Asada cooked good. Pour the green sauce over it and it makes it even better. Pepperoni cheese, mushroom, black olive Stromboli. So good. Bread cooked perfectly and the marinara dipping sauce was delicious with a perfect amount of flavor. This is a must try!!! Ribeye steak cook perfectly over medium. Comes with potatoes (baked or mashed) with veggies and butter toasted bread. Love this little "Hideaway" gem of a bar. Makes you feel like you are in a small town bar! Want to get away from strip, this is a must try. Way Chill!!

My fourth time ordering the fish and chips (from Uber Eats). So good. I want to try other items on the menu, but those fish and chips are fire!

We visited on Friday, for lunch, with a party of two and it was a good experience. We arrived and…read moreseated ourselves in the dining area. The place is large and clean. The waitress arrived and took orders, their margaritas are tall and refreshing. We started with Chicken Nachos. They were constructed strangely, they put the refried beans on the plate itself, under the chips and other ingredients. You had to lift up the nachos to scrape the beans off the plate. We then went with the Ribeye Steak and Chicken and Waffles. The steak was cooked beautifully. They initially brought out hot honey instead of syrup for the waffles, which was confusing. Their "Hash Browns" are actually potato sticks. There were only 2 women working as servers/bartenders, so the speed of the service was a bit slow. We ended up waiting quite a while for the check. Overall, not a bad spot for a bite and a drink.

My friend Dana said, "Hey, there's a local restaurant near me that I go to all the time... and…read morethey're having a FREE BBQ Saturday night!" Free BBQ?!? It didn't take much to twist my husband's arm... though we weren't 100% that this would be anything much... because, as my husband said, "Nothing's free... and what do they get out of it? and how are they doing this... in this economy?" We arrived promptly at 4PM, because we knew it was "first come first served"... they had a DJ and a TON of games, raffles, free alcoholic beverages, swag (tshirts, beer cozies, pins, stickers, custom-designed etched wine glasses), various stations of fun activities... and... the entire restaurant was part of this... So of course we sat our party of 5 at a table in the main restaurant section... and proceeded to... order full meals and drinks from the menu. Listen, the prices are RIGHT, the food looked incredible, and technically they weren't going to serve the BBQ until 5:30... so... we figured we'd have an hour and a half to digest. I ordered a salad though... because I was dead set on some ribs or pulled pork or something... BBQ-y. My husband ordered the BLT with tater tots, and others in our party ordered sandwiches, fried raviolis, among other items like martinis, lemonade. Our waitress was so attentive and darling, really took care of us the entire time. At 5:30 the BBQ happened. Myself and one other from our party were ready, whilst everyone else had already had their fill with the menu items. But boy did they regret the fact that there was no more room in their bellies... because the BBQ spread was INCREDIBLE: A full salad with all the fixings, RIBS (!!), hamburgers (full size, wonderful patties!), hot dogs (delicious!), chili, mac'n'cheese, watermelon... my goodness it was an immense spread. And all was cooked superbly! And again, plenty of free alcohol as well. As I spoke to the other locals around the BBQ, I kept hearing exactly what my friend Dana said, "We live 5 minutes away... we come here ALL the time... we LOVE this place!" The vibe was COMMUNITY-CENTERED... it was obvious... and as the raffle winners were called, the entire place exploded into claps and whistles as each of the winners' names were called. Golden Knights jerseys, golf caddies, backpacks... it was all soo lovely, but those prizes were just icing on the cake... a "cake" consisting of a true LOCAL restaurant and it's COMMUNITY... each expressing their support for each other. My husband and I were floored. And humbled to see the entire event play out.... something you don't see enough of anymore. May Summit Tavern continue to enjoy their success in the neighborhood, and may other establishments learn from Summit Tavern's success! And THANK YOU... for a wonderful evening, Summit Tavern staff and all who made the night truly special.

We're always on the hunt for a good happy hour, and this seemed like a good one. It certainly has a good selection of happy hour foods, bar bites and drinks. The place was hopping when we got there --- lots of yelling and screaming. We almost turned around, but decided to stay. We thought since a lot of the raucous crowd seemed to be outside, maybe it will be a little more contained inside. Wrong! There was a high table of just six people (three women and three men) but it seemed they were all trying to outdo each other as to who can be the loudest screamer. We ordered the lettuce wraps and tacos and were pleasantly surprised at how good they were. But we couldn't get past the loud and obnoxious group. And that soured us on the experience. We understand it's a sports bar and we've been to several. But this was unusually loud. Could it be that the acoustics are bad and sound bounces off the walls?

We got there around 12ish and only a couple folks at the bar and the waitres/bartender was dealing with large take out orders. The place is huge, separate dining area in the back past the bar. Traditional gaming setup at the bar(15 machines interspaced around) lots of high tops in the bar area and a nice patio around the building . I think the patio is dog friendly. So we ordered the variety show as an app. Gigundo pretzel filled with cheese curds, fried pickles, pigs in the blanket etc. ordered the cheese fondue as a dipping sauce. Quite frankly we were filled up just nibbling on that and we really didn't even make a dent in it. For the mains (we knew would probably just go home as takeout).... Squidlett ordered the BLT. (Must of had 8oz bacon on it) with fries. Hubs had the brisket sandwich with home made chips. The brisket was cut in cubes and short strips and was juicy and a fairly large portion. I had the perfect smashy, two patties with tomato and onion and sauce. Probably about 6-8 ounces of beef. Aldo with the homemade chips. Hubs and I each had a beer from their large selection. All in all, probably a 4.75 star meal but since they gave us a 20.00 sign up discount and applied a generous military discount, we were super happy and will definitely return. The bartender says it's busier in the evenings and depending what's going on across the street at the hospital. The have "hoppy hours" and DLL sorts of specials. The Laundry Room is dead, long live the Laundry Room. The remodel that took place during Jan to May 2026 saw a wide amount of change from Corner Management, the mother company of LR. They got rid of the absolute corner stone of the lead bartender, Anthony, and redecorated the place to look more like the sister bar, Doberman Drawing Room (5 Stars). The remodel was absolutely needed, as the regulars and Dean's List could point out, the place was kind of falling apart. From water warped bar top, uncomfortable chairs, and chipped paint/worned carpet, you would think this place WAS left over from the Prohibition era. What sets this establishment apart from any of the pretend speakeasy on the strip is the atmosphere. At any given time, you could cram 16 people there at a time, even with the reduced drinking time cut from 2 hours to 90 minutes, this place could only cycle thru 50 to 60 people from the reduced nightly opening of 4 hours from 6 hours previously. This make LR special, not some faux speakeasy in Cosmo or Resort World that could jam in 80 people per hour with room to spare. Gone is the rugged identity of the old laundry room for El Cortez, this is spiced up, every square inch of the wall is covered with some art piece, very much different from the Depression era decor. Some art selection are just straight up chaos from the management, the main cherub piece behind the bar is just insanity. The new master of house, Davey, showed skills with his new 14 drink menu, but fell short of what made LR great in the past 14 years. Now, the man had just two months to create his drink list and per himself, had to start from the scratch from when he took over.. So, with that said, let's focus on the drinks. Hemingway Dalguiri, Dust + Ether, and High Noon Static - all great in taste, presentation, and talent, abet we can see the hesitation when making his own drinks, thus slowing down service by quite a bit. My party saw him struggle making 6 drinks at once, 4 of them the same drinks. Recommendation from someone else, maybe record the drink making process and try to eliminate non productive habits and motions via video viewing. Since Davey is a visionary, looking in the past is a deal breaker for him. If you are trying to finish up a previous menu for the Dean's List, the joke is on you, that is a no. Where the hostess (the only person that survived the purge from the remodel) explained to him that exception needs to happen to keep the Dean's List going, the answer was a no since no one at management told him about this. When asked about what will the new requirements will be for the future, it's simple, finish the menu before it's replaced with no chance of catching up. Once a menu is done, it's done. I guess it's easier to keep the drinks under control with less ingrediencies needed behind the bar, but wait a minute... drink number 15, Research and Development, that should give Davey some leeway to non menu drinks right? Turns out, not so much. Sidecar- cognac, orange liqueur, lemon juice. Simple right? He leaves the room to get something from Commonwealth... didn't management installed a new fridge to hold the larger ice cubes, where previous bar keep have to venture out all the time? Turns out, there was no Cognac or any Brandy in the Laundry Room. I can see how things are shaped, strict bottle control is for the benefit of the bar, not for the customer. There is now Vodka, foam, and milk wash but lost Cognac or Brandy, but besides the freedom of choices were also compounded with complete lack of rules. For the last 14 years, the hostess and bar staff on rotation were friendly yet firm about house rules. First given upon entering the secret or window doors, then by the bartender after an aperitif is given (now eliminated). No photo, religion, politic, standing at the bar, name dropping, brawling, telephone calls, PDA, and smoking, plus don't be creepy, be patient, and know your limit. Most of these were not enforced the first 2 times my party of regulars have visited since the remodel. The cardinal sin of allowing one single 4 top to seat 2 people at a time is just wild. But hey, no rules are listed on the new simple menu and none giving at the door or at the seats. So what is this place now? 20 to 23 dollars for a drink plus more for popcorn. All for the experience of being in a noise warfare between Commonwealth and La Mona Rosa's speaker systems, with LR's own music turned up high, and the piano only used one night of the week. I would recommend Doberman Drawing Room as of now for better drinks options, less noise, and vibe. The new menu to replace Fear and Laundry will come out this Fall, will be bring some regulars with me to check on LR again and hopefully give more than 2 stars on the next review.

Even the bartender said that he would tell the to make sure it's cooked well and more crispy.
