Bang Bang Tacos

This is our closest local bar and grill - and its pretty good! It's part of the WSKY chain (which I enjoy), however its a different menu (but there are so overlaps like the grilled cheese). The service is pretty good, Maila was our server and she was great on getting us refills on our drinks. The one thing I do like is that they have Truly on draft. Highly recommend the Bang Bang Shrimp Tacos. They are really tasty! Glad we have this as our neighborhood bar!

10/10 spot! I've been here multiple times and each time I leave highly satisfied! All the employees are super sweet but I want to give a special shoutout to Kat! Kat is the sweetest and gives the best customer service. She ensures my drinks are constantly filled! This spot is perfect to bring friends to chat, gamble, have great drinks - I even come to do homework sometimes! Thanks Kat!

Outstanding bar !!! It's definitely the nicest bar in this area. The menu is very diverse and reasonably priced. They also have a brunch menu and happy hour . The food is very delicious and we really enjoyed their pizzas ( the crust is really good), highly recommend them. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the staff is friendly and attentive. Overall: great bar scene, very relaxing and comfortable, great tasty food and welcoming staff .

Spinach Spinach Artichoke Dip

Came for a great happy hour deal on the $7 spinach dip, it comes with tortilla chips and pita bread. 50% off the beer too! Great service and food.

Nice vibe with good drinks and plenty of food choices. Lots of seating around the bar and off to the side. Staff was friendly and made you feel welcome. Would definitely come back.

The Skye Bar & Grill is a casual neighborhood sports bar and restaurant with some gaming located in the north-west part of Vegas. They offer all day breakfast, and a food menu with lots of variety but it does differ slightly from the website menu. They also offer a very inexpensive happy hour menu. You sit at the bar with lots of big screen TVs or a high top. There are some booths and some traditional seating. We tried some happy hour margaritas - They are cheap and strong! ($5.50) Short Story - The food was a mix of good and not so good. Longer story - I tried the fish of the day - Salmon. The fish was prepared reasonably well and was good. The Boursin mashed potatoes that came with it were over mixed and gluey and didn't have enough Boursin Cheese in them to taste any. We shared a side of macaroni and cheese. It was slightly under seasoned but was very good and was made with lots of real cheese. The Brazilian Beef Bowl did have good flavor to it but the beef was very tough. Our server was nice and pleasant. Worth a try if you are in the neighborhood.

Have lived nearby for years and this is the first time trying it out. It was very dark inside, and towards the end, Smokey from the bar. Actual dining seating is set up a bit weird compared to other local options such as Distill. The menu had some unique options and the food was good. Pricing was very high ($20 for burrito with tip, no drink). The server was friendly and helpful. There are better bar dining options in the area, especially with separated seating to avoid smoke.

I played $100 to be comped a Diet Coke

I have been coming to Skye Bar for a few years now, it's a go to being in the area! Great ventilation, great locals, and usually great bartenders. You know, the ones who remember your name and order. I'm not sure what's happened on Tuesday nights, but neither the bartender nor the server were familiar. That's not a problem, I get shifts change! But for attitudes to change so much? The server was NOT inviting. I tried making silly joke and she was not about it, definitely felt like I had bothered her. Usually we have a warm and friendly environment. Tuesdays we normally have Lex as our bartender. She remembers us by name, knows our orders (there's 1-4 of us at a time), so fun to joke around with, kept the atmosphere lively and fun! Tonight's bartender, name is probably on the receipt pictured, was subpar. She existed with zero personality. To compare her to the graveyard bartender who came in around 11pm, night and day! He introduced himself, had some humor, and kept us going! To be a bartender is to be an artist for the public. It's not just serving drinks, it's creating relationships. As stated before I have been here many times! Tonight I played $100 at max bet. I was comped one Diet Coke. You've got to be kidding me? I can assure you my girlfriends and I agreed that we would try Born and Raised and see if their service towards regulars is better. When I frequented Shucks I would receive comped drinks and food. At Skye Bar tonight I ordered multiple drinks, two food items, and was comped a Diet Coke and one well shot. Sorry but not cool Our check was split into two. The first check the one we'll drink was comped ($66 check total) and the second, a Coke comped. I'll bring in my own Coke if that's what's being offered as a comp. What a joke

The steak was just bad! Thin, completely over cooked, so much fat all through it. They put it right on top of the potatoes so they got drenched in whatever that nasty oil was. Ruined it. I hated the whole thing. Very sweet waitress. They need a decent chef though. And better quality meat! We won't be back.

Love coming to Skye. Bartenders are super friendly and their happy hour is on point "half off all draft beers"! The burgers are awesome! Love our local bar! If you're up North, is a must place to check out

Black and tan with Blue Moon. Server was rude when I tried to ask for it with Blue Moon

Had drinks after dinner last night. This is the only bar near where I live. Service was terrible. I don't know if our server had too many tables or just wasn't paying attention. We would have stayed and had more drinks but after waiting 15-20 minutes each time for the 2 rounds we decided to call it. The music is so loud you can't really talk to each other. Not the bar for me and my friends.

This is my second time here and I'd say the service, food & environment have been consistent. I can absolutely see myself frequenting this location. Katrina & Lex got right to making sure my friend and I were set up, the drinks were delicious! I had the spinach & artichoke dip (pleasantly surprised) and the Loaded Spud (the brisket was sooooo tender). I'll definitely be back! (Especially during their happy hour!)

Friendly atmosphere, great food. I do wish they would have the pumpkin pie martini on the menu all year, but that's my only complaint. :)

Ask the Community - Skye Bar & Grill

Is this a kid friendly restaurant?

No, it is a bar, I am almost certain that it is 21 and older.

Is there any entree that is gluten free here? Does this restaurant use a shared fryer for things like battered fish that would cross contaminate foods like gluten free french fries? I have Celiac disease and have to eat gluten free.

Is this a non-smoking establishment?

No. They do allow smoking. They have good food and decent service, but sometimes it can be bothersome.

What are the Happy Hour, hours?

4pm-7pm daily

Been here one other time and honestly forgot just how good this place is.... everything tastes so…read morefresh and full of flavor. We started with the chicken Pad Thai: light, but still packed with flavor. The lime really brightens everything up, and the toasted peanuts add that perfect crunch with a roasted, nutty finish. Super balanced dish. Next was the Pad See Ew with pork. I'm starting to notice a trend when eating out, pork tends to come out a little overcooked and dry. So, note to self... stick to chicken next time. That being said, the flat noodles were delicate and flavorful. I ordered level 1 spice, which had basically no kick...honestly, a level 2 or 3 probably would've taken it to another level. Still a solid dish overall. Of course, we had to get the drunken noodles, which are always a favorite when I'm craving Thai. Never disappoints. We also tried the Massaman curry with chicken at level 2 spice, just the right amount of heat. It reminds me of a yellow Thai curry, rich and comforting, especially paired with rice. Definitely something I'd order again. For something different, we got the soft shell whole crab for $10. The cilantro sauce it came with had a spicy kick and was super flavorful, nice little add on to the meal. Even though the portions look on the smaller side, don't be fooled we all left full and satisfied. They don't have Thai coffee, but the Thai tea was really good and worth ordering if you want something refreshing with your meal. Inside is cute, welcoming, and has a cozy vibe, perfect for a casual date night. Customer service was spectacular!

They're perfectly crispy but doughy and they load it up with plenty of toppings. Also if you're normally a pasta girly like me, I also recommend all their pastas! Especially the blackened chicken Alfredo! YUM!! I've only ordered food for delivery or pickup from here so can't speak to in person service, though…read morefrom what I've seen of the interior it looks a cool and inviting bar and definitely somewhere I would for sure enjoy some good pub food. I can speak of the food I've ordered though, and to start off I do have to say their onion rings are incredible, in fact maybe the best I've had anywhere in Vegas. Lovely crispy batter with an amazing crunch and flavor but also not greasy like fast food ones. Good size portion too. The Chicken Tenders are nothing short of awesome, and a good hearty portion at a very reasonable price. They come with fries and choice of dipping sauce. You can also pick two different sauces for the chicken and have them tossed or on the side. I prefer the latter so I can dip my tenders. Their Tide sauce which is a spicy honey Bourbon is a great flavor, and also Mango Habanero, both are my favorites. They have some more spicy options and rubs too you can choose from. Their fish and chips are ok but also a bit underwhelming and not a very generous portion for the price. In fairness I'm a fish and chips snob since I'm from England originally, and there's only one place in Vegas that hits the mark for me (which I won't mention here since that would be unfair). With that said, the fish itself is pretty good and has decent crispy batter, chips are the usual pub fayre, again nothing special. Overall though, I'm pretty sure anyone that likes pub style food will find some favorites here so if you're in the area it is definitely worth giving a go.
