A nice Neighborhood Tavern/bar with gaming, located at Skye canyon marketplace center. Good food, drinks and service, friendly staff, they have happy hour and game day specials. They have separate dining area if you don't want to sit at the bar or bar area. i've been here several times for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and happy hours. Smoking is allowed, but I've never been smoked out, I guess they have good ventilation. read more

I really like plain wings and I feel like it's so hard to find decent wings that cross all my boxes. One day I decided to order from here cause why not. I got their wings with a cajun rub. They were great. Cooked well, not too big or small and felt like a decent value. Their wings come with carrots/celery, ranch, and fries. They also include ketchup and wet naps in the bag which is a nice touch. The fries are actually really good but they just have a lot of short and small ones mixed in. Their ranch isn't my number one fave but I will put it in a good ranch category. It goes well with their food. At this point I have had their wings several times now but I will say this last time was a bit disappointing. If I am ordering 12 wings, I would never want 10 drums. And that is what I got. 10 drums and 2 flats. 10 drums is actually ridiculous and kinda funny when you say it out loud. They were also a bit overcooked this time. So I think that concludes my addiction to this place for now, unless I get curious one day down the road and try something different. read more

We've been to Sky Bar & Grill about five times now, and every visit has been excellent. The service is always top-notch, the bartenders are fantastic, and the drinks are consistently made perfectly. I ordered to a smashed burger to go w some fries and I don't know what to say, I don't live far from here so didn't really traveled long to get home. The burger was so soggy that the bottom bun was so wet I had to eat it w a fork, the meat it self was flavorless not even salt as a seasoning was there all you tasted was beef. Fries were so thick it almost reminds you of a steak fries it is somewhat seasoned I think that's the only thing I sort of enjoyed. I will probably pass on ordering food here because we came here to play and drink before and ordered nachos and it was also bland and lacking in flavor's. read more

We live in Centennial Hills and always want to check out new things/places, so we decided to go to Skye for their happy hour. The place is a typical bar/tavern, with high tables/chairs, bar with games, lots of TV sets. If one is looking to relax with a drink and appetizers in a comfy sofa this is not the place. This does look like it's a fun place to unwind. They seem to have all kinds of daily and monthly specials. The service was good, but the food was great. They have a good enough selection. So we got the potsticker, chicken wraps, poppers, nachos. Every single dish was scrumptious. We especially liked how they prepared the nachos --- seems like they layered the nachos and the sauce unlike other places where they just pour the sauce on top and the bottom nachos don't get any of it. We also ordered a bowl of their roasted tomato soup which turned out so tasty. Chef Julius himself brought out the soup and when we told him it's one of the best we've ever had, he brought another serving to take home with us. Now, that's a great way to build a business and encourage customers to keep coming back. All together, our experience was very good, and the only suggestion I would make is to have a variety of seating --- break up the tables and chairs with some comfortable sofas, armchairs. read more

Online order for wings. Nothing fancy. Didn't even add in dressing or a side. Just the wings. Upon going in I was greeted by the bartender. She was very pleasant the first 30 seconds. Once she learned I was not going to be ordering food there, gambling at the bar top, ordering cocktails, or anything else? The friendliness became non-existent. To the point that I stood there for an additional almost 15 minutes trying to figure out why I hadn't been spoken too. No updates about the order. Nothing. As if I wasn't standing there. No, the bar was not busy. There was a handful of people there. Most of which already had drinks, or were in the process of being served. There is absolutely no excuse why the minute she realized I wasn't spending any money in their establishment, outside of the to-go order; my presence became non-existent in her world. Finally, after becoming irritated that as a patron I was being completely ignored; I annoyingly asked if she could find out how much longer the wings would take. From there she clearly understood I was annoyed. Why is that you ask? She couldn't be bothered to come and tell me the answer herself. She sent over another lady. Who was delightful. She was lovely. Why the bartender, who clearly didn't want to interact with me becasue she wasn't going to get anything out of me, couldn't have simply told me the exact same information the other lady did is baffling. I'm standing right in front of the bar. You couldn't have answered the question without inconveniencing the other employee there? This is not my first experience with this neighborhood bar. The food is fantastic. My only suggestion? Do not go in if you have somewhere else to be. Their food service is extraordinarily slow. It does not matter what time of day you go. There was another gentleman there who obviously could tell I was annoyed. I was also on the phone with family trying to find more information about the order that was placed. Really just wings. Nothing else. He also told me that their food service is extraordinarily slow. I would also love if management could have a conversation with their bartenders that are there in the afternoons. It doesn't matter if I spend $20 or $1,000. Your staff should not become completely oblivious to a patron's presence because they know they're not earning any money or tips. Your bartender gets paid an hourly wage. I understand that tips are king. Why would I tip her? She literally did nothing. She greeted me, was polite for about 30 seconds, and then proceeded to ignore me for another 15 minutes until I became irritated. read more

Took our out of town visitors for brunch around 11:15 am Saturday. It wasn't crowded but there were people at the bar. We were greeted as soon as we entered and shortly after we sat at the tables the nice lady at the bar gave us menus and took drink orders. There is a cigarette smoke smell but it wasn't too bad , they must have good ventilation. They played 80s music and some sang along at times it was fun! This is our closest local bar and grill - and its pretty good! It's part of the WSKY chain (which I enjoy), however its a different menu (but there are so overlaps like the grilled cheese). The service is pretty good, Maila was our server and she was great on getting us refills on our drinks. The one thing I do like is that they have Truly on draft. Well balanced cream cheese with a nice half slice of jalapeno deep fried to a crunch. Bang Bang tacos (shrimp)- hands down my favorite item from what we chose. Amazingly cooked shrimp with fresh cabbage to give it that double crunch that I love. And some flavorful spice to make it all the better. And the unspoken hero's That pumpkin spice martini or espresso... I forget the name but it was addicting. Not overflowing with pumpkin flavor and just enough espresso taste made it soooo smooth. The portion sizes are generous, the fried items are so good (we had the cheese curds, fries, and onion rings), the pretzel bits were soft and pillowy, and the burgers were cooked to temperature requested and were well seasoned. I ordered the cobb salad and was surprised at the freshness of the lettuce/veggies. Overall a good place to grab a quick bite/drink if you're in the area. Stopped in here last minute on a Saturday night for some drinks and appetizers. The ambience is different from any neighborhood bar I've been to. There is very soft lighting and cozy corners to grab a table and have an intimate conversation, which I love. The bar area is mellow and clean, nice selection of draft beers also. The Skye Bar & Grill is a casual neighborhood sports bar and restaurant with some gaming located in the north-west part of Vegas. They offer all day breakfast, and a food menu with lots of variety but it does differ slightly from the website menu. They also offer a very inexpensive happy hour menu. You sit at the bar with lots of big screen TVs or a high top. There are some booths and some traditional seating. We tried some happy hour margaritas - They are cheap and strong! ($5.50) Short Story - The food was a mix of good and not so good. Longer story - I tried the fish of the day - Salmon. The fish was prepared reasonably well and was good. The Boursin mashed potatoes that came with it were over mixed and gluey and didn't have enough Boursin Cheese in them to taste any. We shared a side of macaroni and cheese. It was slightly under seasoned but was very good and was made with lots of real cheese. The Brazilian Beef Bowl did have good flavor to it but the beef was very tough. Our server was nice and pleasant. Worth a try if you are in the neighborhood. read more

Actual dining seating is set up a bit weird compared to other local options such as Distill. The menu had some unique options and the food was good. Pricing was very high ($20 for burrito with tip, no drink). The server was friendly and helpful. Tuesdays we normally have Lex as our bartender. She remembers us by name, knows our orders (there's 1-4 of us at a time), so fun to joke around with, kept the atmosphere lively and fun! Tonight's bartender, name is probably on the receipt pictured, was subpar. She existed with zero personality. To compare her to the graveyard bartender who came in around 11pm, night and day! He introduced himself, had some humor, and kept us going! To be a bartender is to be an artist for the public. It's not just serving drinks, it's creating relationships. As stated before I have been here many times! Tonight I played $100 at max bet. I was comped one Diet Coke. You've got to be kidding me? I can assure you my girlfriends and I agreed that we would try Born and Raised and see if their service towards regulars is better. When I frequented Shucks I would receive comped drinks and food. At Skye Bar tonight I ordered multiple drinks, two food items, and was comped a Diet Coke and one well shot. Sorry but not cool Our check was split into two. The first check the one we'll drink was comped ($66 check total) and the second, a Coke comped. I'll bring in my own Coke if that's what's being offered as a comp. What a joke read more
