WHAT HAPPENED??? This place feels like home. The staff is wonderful the food is great beers are always cold and plentiful. Unfortunately I need to find a new Friday night place. It seems the other patrons already have. It's 8:30 and I'm the only one at the bar. There is an element that has taken over on Friday. They are loud rude and frankly in my opinion bad for business. What do you want. People drinking eating and gambling? Or dart players drinking water and having a few drinks. I will come here because of the staff but not on Fridays any longer. I'm not a marketing expert but I think the bar, food and gambling would be better than chasing away regulars with an element that people are not comfortable with. read more

We were warmly greeted by the bartender and was told straight away that the morning chef had not made it in yet, this was around 915ish. So if you're looking for food in the morning I'd give a call first to see if the chef is in. Ice cold water and great tunes were the highlight as we decided to eat somewhere else. Just as we were leaving the chef walked in but we had another flavor on our palette. I will be back though bc they are a Boston based bar/grill and the menu looked super good. Don't let the pictures of the pizza fool you. This has to be the worst pizza I've ever had. We were catfished by all the pizza reviews and photos thinking that we were about to strike gold. The dough is incredibly dry, not even edible. Sauce is sauce, nothing special. Looks like there's plenty of cheese but it's a small thin layer and of course they give you a single slice of pepperoni per square of pizza. Totally skimping you out. Their ranch is good. Chicken fingers resemble those of Canes. Save yourself some $$ and grab yourself a Little Caesars pizza, at least your wallet won't hurt with the disappointment. read more

A great sports bar in Centennial Hills, tvs everywhere and great "bar" food and sports on TV - perfect combination. Service was fast and attentive, kept checking on us. The meatballs were tasty with plenty of cheese, and the sauce did not overpower the meat. Buffalo chicken salad was generous portion of perfectly spiced chicken on top. We also ordered the meat lovers pizza thick crust, which had crunchy edges and plenty of sausage and pepperoni. Almost forgot, the tap beer was ice cold served in a frosty glass! Don't watch me while I eat here because it can get graphic. I have a love and hate relationship with how this spot is strategically placed near the gym. Too often, the scent of burgers and wings waft aggressively through the desert breeze, summoning my spirt. I pause, take it all in, die a little inside, and then trek into the gym to earn my gainz. My favorite flavor of wings can be found here. I live peanut butter and jelly wings. Even though there Buffalo Bills merchandise hanging up, that won't stop me from coking back for the food here. Besides the wings, I've had the burgers, fries, mozzarella sticks and the salads. The nights get a little busy here, the machines are loose and they have pool tables. We've now been here several times. The food is consistently delicious. We've tried several items on the menu and have not been disappointed. My husband LOVES the wings, and he's a wing critic. The service is great, every time. It's not dark and dingy, it's nice, well lit, nice tables and booths for sitting away from the bar. Great for dart throwers (3 plastic tip boards). This place can be hit and miss if it's smokey or not, so if you're like me and prefer no smoke, you'll have to pop in to see the current situation. I popped in late evening and the bartender was very friendly and helpful on deciding what to eat. She recommended the tenders since they were fresh hand breaded and to have it sauced. The other item we ordered was a recommendation of the bartender as well - Sicilian pizza and she mentioned it was an airy crust. The chicken tenders came out first, but they were not sauced. Which, is fine, I'm totally OK with dipping my tenders. However, the bummer was the side of sauce was ICE COLD. No joke. It was a bummer because the tenders were great - flaky, hot, and fresh, but the sauce wasn't usable and the bartender without hesitation requested for the sauce to be warmed. However, when the sauce came out, the tenders were no longer hot. Again - bummer on that. The Sicilian takes longer to bake so that came out after the tenders. The crust was airy like the bartender said, but ironically, the pizza wasn't that hot. It was warm, but not what you would expect to come out nice and hot and gooey cheese. Had some other business nearby and decided to stop in as I had heard good things about the place. Came in before the lunch crowd, maybe 4-5 guys at the bar. Got a players card, ordered a drink and played poker while I waited for my gigundo Aviator burger to be prepared. (A good bacon burger sandwiched between two Texas toast grilled cheese sandwiches instead of a bun). Ordered with tater tots. I knew I wasn't going to eat the burger, just figured I would eat the top grilled cheese and some tater tots. The bartender was on point, receptive. The place was clean and the machines at the bar were friendly (at least to me today). Good pour on the Jameson (comped with play). The mega sandwich came out quickly... What I ate was pretty good. New Vegas residents here and had a holiday Monday. Looking for a quick lunch we landed at The Standard Tavern. Every day they have an all day special or a happy hour special. Monday is 1/2 price dine in pizza all day. We ordered "The Standard" which is double pepperoni and hot honey. Expectations were very low but we were pleasantly delighted. Pizza was hot, amazing crust and overall delicious. Would surely order again. Cocktails were delicious and the bartender Jazzy was super friendly and on it. Didn't care for the smoky atmosphere so reducing one star. Like said, new resident so I'm sure the smoke is standard for these type places. A pretty nice poker bar, but good luck with the parking! My first visit was on a weekday eve, and the lot was full. I was lucky to nab a spot in front of The Standard after driving the lot for a bit. I really liked that they have 2 Lightning Link stand alone machines, and I was a winner on both! I signed up for their player's card (with a really cool poker logo!) and received a $20 free play bonus after earning 200 points. The bartender was friendly and offered me a drink refill when needed. This is a standard (get it??) poker bar/tavern with typical decor and vibe. I didn't order food, and the menu seems better than most. I came here for the $20 signup deal, and don't live in the area. This is it Definitely 21 and older only. But inside, like every bar, its dark, but the chairs are so comfortable! Not sure about the negative reviews, I can see that if you don't come up to the bar to sit or ask for what you want you may be put off some. Sat at bar and enjoyed the experience. Service was perfect sitting at the spare and playing Keno for the late afternoon time. The pretzel bites are recommend. The bare is one of those types where you can have four sides of seating. We had a late lunch at The Standard Tavern and had an amazing experience. Jazzie was our waitress, and she took great care of us. Brought menus and took our drink orders promptly, got our order squared away.and kept checking in on us to see if we needed anything as the meal progressed. I had the Mount Charleston and my wife ordered a pizza. Both were exceptional. Jazzie told us that the cook who prepared our outstanding food was Tony--an amazing cook. We decided to check this place out before heading to our hotel on a Monday night in May. My wife looked it up on Yelp and thought this would be something we would like. We arrived about 4:30pm and although the parking lot was very busy, the tavern was not. There were about 5 or so people inside. We ended up finding parking in the shopping area across the street because we were pulling a trailer. The bar area allows you to gamble while watching the many tv's spread throughout the center. There are also several tables on either side. We grabbed a couple of seats at the bar and were provided menus and offered drinks promptly. We quickly decided we wanted to try the Warm Pretzel Fries with house made beer cheese. My wife chose the Crispy Buffalo chicken salad and I ordered the Philly Cheese with tater tots. The pretzel fries arrived quickly and were really tasty dipped in the beer cheese. Our entrees arrived just as we were finishing the pretzel fries. My wife commented she should have ordered it with limited or no buffalo sauce on the chicken. She said it was very hot for her and she just picked at it a bit. I thought the Philly was pretty tasty and the tater tots were nice and crunchy. Overall, this was a good stop and we would recommend checking it out.
