A group of 27 of us stopped in to Diego's Farm today after a Senior Day outing at Gilcrease Orchard. I joined my Mom and a group of her friends from Whitney Senior Center on their field trip and after a few hours of enjoying the orchard the group organizer set up a breakfast reservation at Diego's Farm. I was very impressed with how fast the kitchen pumped out 27 entrees and drinks all while still attending to their regular clients. The food came out hot and delicious, the group ordered everything from Patty Melts to French Toast and everything in between. The menu is very creative and diverse, there is something for everyone! My mom and I split the Nutty French Toast and it was perfect! I was expecting a few pecans on the French toast but to my surprise it was basically crusted in small crushed pecans with caramel, absolutely delish! The coffee was also very good and they refilled it regularly. The service was top notch, super friendly and attentive. They even split everyone's bill smoothly. Went looking for a new place to try for breakfast and found Diego's Farm, which has very good reviews. Driving up, I was expecting, visually, a diner on a farm, but no, it's in a new strip mall. It's a small restaurant, squeezed in-between other small shops. Walking in, we were greeted and offered to sit at any table of our choosing. The place is cozy and very clean, and the staff is very nice and efficient! Great service all around. They have a good sized menu, consisting of mostly Mexican cuisine. The prices are very fair. We ordered the Steak Chilaquiles and Diego's Cereal French Toast, after asking our server some questions and recommendations. The food arrived and the portions are very nice! Even the French Toast, which most places serve 2 slices of toast, this one comes with 3 slices. Even the Chilaquiles portion was very generous! Overall, this place is awesome! Everything tasted very good, the prices were fair, and the service was great! We live way on the east side of Henderson, so Diego's is almost the farthest point from us, but they were absolutely worth it! What a cute place!! I can't believe I haven't tried Diego's Farm before because it's so so close to my house. Finally, we decided to stop in and I'm glad we did. Their menu is packed with tons of different options and their prices are fair. Thank god, finally a breakfast spot not charging a ridiculous price for some eggs!! The variety of everything looked so good, but I landed on their Healthy Omelette and some classic Chocolate Chip Pancakes. It was amazing! The veggies in the omelette tasted fresh and the pancakes were super fluffy. The service was amazing too. Our server took great care of us and had a smile on her face the whole time. Seriously wow! Diego's farm is awesome and definitely my new go to place for Brunch. The restaurant is clean with a modern yet inviting feel, and the staff are so friendly and attentive. We wanted for nothing, including the endless Columbian coffee that was constantly refilled for us. You can tell the owners are really proud of this place, and they certainly should be. So let's get to the food. I had the Country Fried Steak with eggs sunny side up, and this comes with what they call their home fries. The breading on the chicken is so good, as is the deliciously flavorful gravy, if you like this dish I can heartily recommend. My guest had the Chicken and Waffles, and again the chicken and breading were just awesome, and combined with the very generously sized waffle made for another winner. I'm lucky enough to live less than five minutes from here, and this will become one of my brunch places of choice now, but it's seriously worth the drive even if you live further afield. Diego's Farm on N. Hualapai Way and Elkhorn is located in a Multi Tenant building, nestled in between 2 businesses towards the back. They're open 7 days from 7am to 2pm for breakfast and brunch. The restaurant is family owned and serves American Mexican inspired dishes. This place was recommended to me by name, so today I decided to go and give it a try. It's Friday morning, We arrived around 10am and by 11:30 all the tables were taken. It's a small place that has 12 tables. Nothing fancy and the vibes definitely gave me family settings as soon as we walked in, which I love because that tells me everything should be made with love and care. We were greeted by a young man who was very nice and attentive. We got our order in and it came out pretty quickly and hot. The menu has a good amount of items to choose from and not in your face extensive-just a nice diner comfort food vibes. We ordered a few dishes to try like the Country Fried steak which is a small NY steak with eggs and home potatoes. The steak and the breading had a good amount of seasoning, good taste not spicy or overpowering with a good amount of gravy, not smothering the steak, just enough. We ordered the Carne Asada which is a NY Steak with subtle seasonings, home potatoes smothered in a green salsa verde with tomatoes, onions, roasted peppers and jack cheese. This was a nice tasting dish too. The green salsa verde had a great kick, but not spicy. It wasn't smothered all into the dish, but was just enough to taste it with every bite. I did wish the steak was bigger, but it did come out exactly how I ordered it as well as the eggs. The amount of what you got did justify the price in my opinion. I also ordered the Steak Fajita Burrito to go, which is basically a big breakfast burrito with all the fixings. It's big burrito smothered in red sauce, cheese and accompanied by refried beans and a few freshly made tortillas chips. Their freshly made tortilla chips and salsa, Which I also ordered to go. The chef and owner came out to make sure everyone had what they needed. He also took the time to talk with us and I really like talking with people. It was just good comfort food and easy going all around experience. I hope next time I come back, it will be consistent in all aspects of that family vibes and the good experience I had this day. Very cute little restaurant with the most caring staff! There was a little slip up when we ordered and my Cobb salad didn't get out through. When we explained that a salad was missing, they immediately went to put the order in and also brought the freshest fruit I've had a in a very long time to eat while I waited so I didn't have to watch everyone else. This place is truly simple, aesthetic is really well as a simple. So we ordered the country fried steak and eggs, the person that ordered it said it was easy to cut through n was super tender. It was tasty all around usually restaurants make her eggs way too runny, but they actually cooked them just right. I ordered a mushroom burger no patty. Look so it was very good. The only thing I didn't like about it is that it was dry and yet for some strange reason and it was greasy.. the bun to be honest with you as greasy. And their fries were good. I don't know why they were kind of spicy. I don't think they were meant to be, but it was strange that it kicked to them. Those were honestly really good though. It's worth that you'll actually get a burger with fries and the fries are extremely hot, which is a good thing. That being said, this will be a one time place that I would go to, but it's definitely not bad. We did notice said they do have regular that walked into the counter. They need them by their name which is always cool. It looks like it's family run which again is a bonus. It's just I could see going there if you lived on that side of town regularly, but we don't live on that side of town so I will not be going out of my way for it but I am happy.
