We visited on Friday, for lunch, with a party of two and it was a good experience. We arrived and seated ourselves in the dining area. The place is large and clean. The waitress arrived and took orders, their margaritas are tall and refreshing. We started with Chicken Nachos. They were constructed strangely, they put the refried beans on the plate itself, under the chips and other ingredients. You had to lift up the nachos to scrape the beans off the plate. We then went with the Ribeye Steak and Chicken and Waffles. The steak was cooked beautifully. They initially brought out hot honey instead of syrup for the waffles, which was confusing. Their "Hash Browns" are actually potato sticks. There were only 2 women working as servers/bartenders, so the speed of the service was a bit slow. We ended up waiting quite a while for the check. My friend Dana said, "Hey, there's a local restaurant near me that I go to all the time... and they're having a FREE BBQ Saturday night!" Free BBQ?!? It didn't take much to twist my husband's arm... though we weren't 100% that this would be anything much... because, as my husband said, "Nothing's free... and what do they get out of it? and how are they doing this... in this economy?" We arrived promptly at 4PM, because we knew it was "first come first served"... they had a DJ and a TON of games, raffles, free alcoholic beverages, swag (tshirts, beer cozies, pins, stickers, custom-designed etched wine glasses), various stations of fun activities... and... the entire restaurant was part of this... So of course we sat our party of 5 at a table in the main restaurant section... and proceeded to... order full meals and drinks from the menu. Listen, the prices are RIGHT, the food looked incredible, and technically they weren't going to serve the BBQ until 5:30... so... we figured we'd have an hour and a half to digest. I ordered a salad though... because I was dead set on some ribs or pulled pork or something... BBQ-y. My husband ordered the BLT with tater tots, and others in our party ordered sandwiches, fried raviolis, among other items like martinis, lemonade. Our waitress was so attentive and darling, really took care of us the entire time. At 5:30 the BBQ happened. Myself and one other from our party were ready, whilst everyone else had already had their fill with the menu items. But boy did they regret the fact that there was no more room in their bellies... because the BBQ spread was INCREDIBLE: A full salad with all the fixings, RIBS (!!), hamburgers (full size, wonderful patties!), hot dogs (delicious!), chili, mac'n'cheese, watermelon... my goodness it was an immense spread. And all was cooked superbly! And again, plenty of free alcohol as well. As I spoke to the other locals around the BBQ, I kept hearing exactly what my friend Dana said, "We live 5 minutes away... we come here ALL the time... we LOVE this place!" The vibe was COMMUNITY-CENTERED... it was obvious... and as the raffle winners were called, the entire place exploded into claps and whistles as each of the winners' names were called. Golden Knights jerseys, golf caddies, backpacks... it was all soo lovely, but those prizes were just icing on the cake... a "cake" consisting of a true LOCAL restaurant and it's COMMUNITY... each expressing their support for each other. My husband and I were floored. And humbled to see the entire event play out.... something you don't see enough of anymore. We went here on a Monday late afternoon, still in time for their happy hour which ends at 6pm. We decided to order some pretzels and a pizza deal that included 14 wings for $30. I intended to take the pizza home because I love leftover pizza. The wings are fried and we got the lemon pepper flavor. The wings were decent. Some were overfried but most were good. I had one piece of pizza just to see how it was. The happy hour deal comes as a plain cheese pizza so I added pepperoni. The pizza was very good. Plenty of cheese, a nice crust and it was a good size. Glad I got it. My wife liked her pretzels, noting that they seemed fried instead of baked. She likes baked better but these were not bad. They come with cheese and honey mustard. My main meal was the tacos. I ordered 2 beef and 1 chicken as they come in 3. Inside the taco is your selected meat, cheese, lettuce and salsa on the side. I preferred the beef tacos over the chicken. The beef was very tender and flavorful. The chicken was shredded and a bit dry. My wife ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and she said it was very good. Her chicken was tender and juicy. She said she would order it again. This place has Coca-Cola products which I appreciate. They even have Coke Zero! We do plan on returning and trying other menu items. The atmosphere is rustic themed. The place is non smoking which is another big plus. We got take out from Summit Tavern recently. Menu is on the smaller side. The largest section on the menu is the appetizers. There are a couple salads, sandwiches, pizzas, and some breakfast items that I believe are served around the clock since this establishment is open 24/7. I am not from the area, so don't really understand how a tavern in this location has the ability to be open 24/7, but I also don't run a restaurant so who knows. Food was ready on time and packaged well. Picked it up at the bar. The inside has sports bar vibes. But the food was just was okay -- average pub food which weirdly is exactly what I was expecting. I got a philly cheesesteak and my SO got the fish and chips. Portions on the smaller side. We will probably try this place again since it is one of the few restaurants in the Tule Springs/Iron Mountain Ranch area. I'm hoping our next experience will be better. read more

Inside this newer bar to the NW Vegas area, it's really nice. Bright, beautiful decor. As a new bar, it's very clean and has a dining area, wraparound bar, and more tables in the bar area. The menu has an assortment of your general bar items - apps, sandwiches, breakfast, and some featured entrees. The Philly Cheesesteak came out nice and hot - it's full of philly meat paired with your traditional onions and peppers. The tater tots for the side were pretty good as well. The Blackened Chicken Alfredo came highly recommended by the bartender, but it fell short to me. The pasta didn't come out very hot and it could definitely use more flavor. Typically, a blackened chicken would be bursting with a nice spice blend but this dish was a bit ordinary. Service is just OK. I found that one was more attentive while another seems to hang out more with the gaming folks. The bar is a wraparound so non-gamers would be more at the end. I would have to place my rating at a 4 only because depending on who's working can make all the difference. There is a gentleman who works Friday nights that is amazing, super engaging with customers and gives the place a good local bar feel. The food is pretty decent and the pizza is particularly good! The rewards aren't a great draw but as far as wins & loses it hasn't been as bad as other places. When this place first opened it was really good. The staff was attentive and the food was amazing, much better than you'd expect from a neighborhood bar. Since then it has steadily declined in quality and service. Tonight was the last night we will ever go. My wife and I ordered some drinks (old fashioned and long island) and the ribeye steak for myself, the nachos with chicken for her. We should have left when we got the drinks. They both tasted like they were made with the cheapest possible spirits. I had asked for Makers and it tasted like rubbing alcohol. My wife said her long island tasted like that cheap pre-made stuff you can get for $10 a bottle. When the food arrived we realized we forgot to ask for guacamole for her nachos and asked for it then. It never came. The steak was overdone, but I couldn't send it back because the staff never came by to check on us until 45 minutes later. They were laughing and joking with each other, some watching TV and serving drinks to other customers. One looked over 4 times at my steak that I pushed away from me, made eye contact with me and then would immediately turn and walk away. When the bartender that took our order finally came by and asked how everything was, I explained the problem with the steak, the fact that it had been 35 minutes since we ordered guac for the nachos and that we just wanted to leave and find somewhere else to eat. She apologized, went and printed the check and told me she removed the steak. Not the cold nachos that didn't get eaten since we never got the guac for them. I lined through the nachos and deducted that from the check and paid for the drinks and appetizer that did arrive. I wouldn't waste your time here. My partner and I came in on the end of swing shift and beginning of grave on Tuesday 7/15. We were warmly greeted by Gage and James and the young lady who was the server on duty. Unfortunately I didn't catch her name. James and Gage quickly got our drinks and got down to business with explaining the gaming promos available. In no time, we had players cards. The machines were popping! The menu had the standard bar food, but also some offerings like pork belly bites that keeps it fresh and different. We came yesterday after work, they've only been open 3 weeks, from what the waitress told us. Let me start with the ambiance, it's bustling and was very busy. Drinks; they didn't have any happy hour specials, so that was a bummer. I ordered a vodka mule, which the bar tender was generous on. I appreciate that. Food; I ordered the Alfredo pasta, which I was disappointed on. It was not Alfredo. It was not a creamy white sauce but more of a white wine sauce. I will not order it again. The buffalo cauliflower was very good, I'd order that again. Hubby ordered the Philly cheese steak and said it was okay. Friends ordered the Philly cheese steak egg rolls which were much better than the sandwich itself. We went to Summit Tavern for lunch and had a pretty disappointing experience. I ordered the steak and eggs, and my wife ordered a grilled chicken salad. The restaurant wasn't busy at all--just one other couple in the dining area and maybe a couple of people at the bar--so we didn't expect a long wait. However, it took quite a while for our food to arrive. When the food finally came out, my wife's salad was drenched in dressing. It was so heavy that she couldn't eat it. Normally, dressing is served on the side, so this was surprising. My meal wasn't much better. I ordered dry toast, but it came out heavily buttered. I mentioned it to the waitress, but she never brought a replacement. The steak was extremely thin--definitely not even a quarter inch thick--more like a very slim slice of beef. The eggs were also not cooked as ordered; I asked for over medium to well, but they came out runny. Overall, the service and food quality were both disappointing, especially considering how slow it was at the time. read more

We approached the bar and were immediately addressed by the dark haired bartender with tats (don't know her name so added a description). I don't know I would return for I have be burping up taste of the pizza and the salad. Even I am only 4.1 miles away this venue needs to reevaluate how they make a pizza. Checked out the new local Tavern in the neighborhood the other night. Nice place! Food and service were very good. the pizza was outstanding. Kaylee our server was excellent!!! The draught beer selection could have been better IMO. The same old choices as everywhere else you go for the most part. Lots of big beer brands. One can only hope that a local tavern would support some local craft brewers! Not here. Plenty of handles to do so. Get some Evolve Brewing in there. My wife and I were there during happy hour. No wine special and no draught beer special for happy hour at all or at least none that I could find. The only beer specials listed for happy hour I saw were buckets of beer. Lots of people in the bar and I never saw a bucket of beer served. Overall, a nice place with great food and great service. read more

Decided to check this out when we were looking for a place to watch some football and eat. We ended up sitting in the dining area as we had a child with us. In terms of atmosphere/environment, it's really nice and new. There are high top tables, regular tables, and half booths. Given the set-up I have to assume it's easy to do large parties/groups here. The service was friendly and timely with no issues at all. We enjoyed the food - those Philly cheesesteak eggrolls really are delicious - and were surprised that the $15 pizza was pretty big and tasty. We visited for the first time over the weekend and although we loved the smoke free environment, the service was horrible. Had to wait between 10-15 min for each round of drinks, the staff was not attentive, we had to chase them down each time we needed to order. A couple of us moved to the bar and it was the same thing. I sat there for at least 15 min before I was asked what they could get me and my friend had to ask the same bartender 5 times if she could get her drink. However, regulars just yelled their names and received immediate service. Not the best first impression at all so I'm up in the air as to whether we will return. read more
