The food at Big Dog's Draft House was absolutely incredible--the cheese curds, Bavarian pretzel with beer cheese, and tacos were all hits. We started our night in the bar area where the service was wonderful, but things took a turn when we moved to the dining room. While the bar staff was great, the restaurant service was extremely slow. It took forever to get drinks, and our server rarely checked in. Most of the table had finished eating before the final two taco orders even arrived. The real highlight was the acoustic music by Kellie Sheehan; she is absolutely amazing! We'll definitely be back whenever she's performing, but we really hope the restaurant service catches up to the quality of the food and the bar. read more

I really like this place, we do come here a lot. The food is really good. The place does get crowded and can sometimes be loud, but what do expect when a good sports game is on. Service seems to be hit and miss sadly. This last visit was not good service. It took our server a little bit to come to our table. We ordered dinner. Sunday special was meatloaf with potato's and veggies. I ordered the meatloaf, my friend does not care for potato's so she asked for NO potato's and DOUBLE veggies. My other friend ordered a burger and a beer. Our server repeated our order but she did not put it in that way. She put it in for my friend as no veggies and double potato's???? When it came my friend sent hers back. When the server came over to check on us, we told her what happened and she started to argue with us saying she said double potato's. My friend ordered the meatloaf and clearly said "I don't like potato's, can I get extra veggies and no potato's". This server tried to tell all three of us that this is not what she said, that she asked for double potato's and no veggies?? Really?? You are going to argue with a table of 3 people who heard what she ordered and you repeated? Food is awesome, ambiance is awesome, this server, she was not good at all. We had to keep asking for water refills and ask other workers when we needed something. We will be back as we like this place a lot, but this server, she won't be serving us again sadly. All servers normally are friendly and everyone will help you when needed. Arguing with the customer over what they ordered and how you put it in the computer, not getting a big tip?? We had come in for a late lunch on a Saturday. The ambience was not loud with some music playing. We were seated quickly and served quickly. We chose an appetizer (pretzel). It was tasty. Very soft, was served with a dipping sauce which had flavor. I ended up ordering the smash sliders with tater tots. The order was large and came with a chipotle sauce which was very good. The sliders were delicious the meat was cooked well and the buns were soft. My husband ordered the Wisconsin beer brat with fries and my brother had a Philly sandwich with garlic fries. We are regulars at Big Dog's Draft house. This is the place to get really legit pot roast! The staff are friendly and usually give good recommendations. We sat in the remodeled draft room. It was so nice and bright compared to the other part of the house. I am more of a cider girl, but not a fan of the cider they have on draft. I am really picky when it comes to Hefeweizen. I finally gave it a try. It was okay. I will probably stick with the apple martini. Definitely will be back. read more

Gave Big Dogs a go. It was very busy during breakfast hours. Specially on a Sunday morning while they have football going. They did have a large menu but I went with the avocado toast and the steak and eggs. The avocado toast was a bit sweet so I had to add salt to tone that down. The sweetness part was not my favorite. The steak was over cooked but it was well seasoned. Over all a chill spot for football. I'd go back and try other options from their menu. read more

We sat, greeted within a few minutes and brought waters. We then sat for another 20-30 minutes. Never had our orders taken or even had a server come over after the man who brought us waters. There were 5 people working plus a sixth at the bar in that area. We got up and left without even being acknowledged. Craziest restaurant experience I've ever had. It was like we didn't exist. I had heard good things about the food and ended up leaving hangry. I've worked customer service most of my life and this was wild. I've going to this local chain since 1995, and the menu keeps getting smaller and smaller. I was super bummed when I didn't see the turkey burger listed, that was my favorite. This is my go to when I crave artichoke dip. The Toscana soup was ok. My husband liked the garlic herb cheese curds, he said they were just good, he said he should have gone with the original. Went here for lunch, using an Anthony Curtis Las Vegas advisor coupon. They had some really great lunch special prices, but we decided to order off the menu for this buy one get one entree from the coupon book. We seated ourselves and a server immediately got us some water as we checked out the menu. Just water today, but I really wanted a beer...next time I will come at cocktail hour... ha ha ha. Hub saw some smash burger sliders he wanted to try and he added on a dollar more for the sweet potato fries. I opted for a salad, with quinoa, black beans and corn with a dressing on the side. Both meals were really good...this is one of the most favorite salads as an entree I have ever enjoyed. Hub also really liked his sliders and said he would get them again. The inside was very fun and the clientele were having great food, beer and in some cases having fun gaming. Came here with family to have dinner during the packers game. We had a party of 9, and we didn't have a reservation. We were immediately told by the hostess that they couldn't accommodate our party. We were eventually seated but the treatment we received from the hostess upon arrival is the reason I am deducting 2 stars from my review. When we went to ask for a table, the hostess was pretty rude saying, "this is a packers bar and people make reservations two weeks in advance" with attitude. Meanwhile, upon walking in we noticed many tables outside that were empty. She did say she would check outside to see if she could seat us. Well low and behold, she sat us outside at two separate tables, which wasn't a big deal to us. But maybe check first before immediately turning us down and explaining to us the kind of bar that it is, because we already knew that. To go through all that and give attitude when you do in fact have tables and we ended up being seated right away; was unnecessary. The food was pretty good. Nothing I'd rush to go have again, but decent. The service from the servers was great, and they were very attentive. The initial experience with the hostess just rubbed us the wrong way. I believe this is the oldest and largest brewery in Las Vegas. The restaurant portion has been renovated in recent years, and a taproom has been added to it. This is where I sit indoors because it is the nonsmoking portion the pub (along with the patio). The combined beer selection from both bars has been leveled up to place it in my my top two local breweries. Currently, in the fall season, they have a mesmerizing array of barrel-aged strong beers (rivaling the likes of Able Baker Brewing). While watching Game 1 of the 2025 World Series, I enjoyed Jacked Up Pumpkin (barrel-aged barleywine with pumkin pie spice, graham cracker, and vanilla), and Canicross (imperial stout with churro). At 10+% alcohol by volume, a ten-ounce serving of each reached my limit for the night. The tots were good, can't go wrong with potatoes and cheese! For the nachos I asked for the jalapeños and salsa on the side in case my daughter decided to try it. Not impressed at all and I grew up going to Big Dogs with family when I was younger and wanted to share this with my family and I left very very disappointed and wishing that I didn't spend my money here. Service lacked everything and server was clueless and didn't know the menu at all. When we got our food it was blah and they jacked up their prices on everything and it's literally $20 per person and the food tasted like McDonald's fast food and should only costed $5 per person. That's how bad it was. Never again. The ambiance was the only thing satisfying here and that's sad. Wish I could just get a refund for this horrible experience read more

I just had another awesome dinner here and everything was so good! To start - the best server here hands down is David. Not only this dining experience, but every time I sit in the bar and he is the server - I know 100% it's going to be great. He is so prompt, great on recommendations, and always makes sure the food comes out as requested. We had 3 items tonight: Chicken Lombardi - it normally comes with a veggie and a starch. I opted for all veggies. It also normally has cheese on top but I requested no cheese tonight just to keep it lighter. The chicken was cooked perfectly, the sauce has a great flavor. Grandma's Pot Roast - also a great comfort food type of dish. Piled high with meat, veggies, and gravy on top of mashed potatoes - this is a go to winter dish for sure! Still a solid spot when in northwest area of Vegas...huge Packers bar as well as Wisconsin badgers....very large interior as well as a good size outdoor patio non the front....service is definitely a hit or miss, sometimes it's good and other times it is extremely slow....the food is above average, burgers are solid as are the pizzas...the fish and chips were good at one time but haven't had them for awhile...the prices have definitely increased over the years but they do have a rewards program, an excellent happy hour, and daily specials....interior was very clean after the Covid cleanup but have notice it to be getting dirty again lately, clean this ceiling fan blades!!! WOW we enjoyed the beers and the food/menu! I definitely want to come back for those, but the service was horrible. We watched a table leave in a huff after sitting there for 10-20 minutes without anybody tending to them. We were getting frustrated at that point but at least had a beer and seltzer. Donzo (if I recall correctly) provided decent music and did a great job of not being too loud so we could still talk. Good heavens the High Westie (Doppelbock aged in High West Rendezvous Rye whiskey barrels) was the BOMB! The seltzer was very light and refreshing. The food was great. After test driving a potential new family car, we were famished and stopped by Big Dogs for a late lunch. We came here in a Saturday afternoon, it wasn't very busy on the restaurant side. I started off with some garlic and herb cheese curds which were nice and golden brown and full of flavor. I grabbed some water to drink but who comes to a brewery to drink just water? The first beer I grabbed was a sour watermelon beer which tasted just like it sounds, so if you don't like sour stuff, this beer isn't for you. I ordered a build your own pizza with pepperoni, green chiles, and pineapple (yes I'm that person). Waited about 10-15 min while my food was prepared. In the meantime I tried another beer. This one was from second chance brewery and was called fistful of gummies. It was flavored with peach rings and was very pleasant. You could definitely tell they used peach ring but it wasn't overpowering. Finally the pizza was brought out and was very good. The green chiles definitely made it taste that much better. If you have some time to kill and want to enjoy a wide assortment of brews, I would recommend Big Dogs. read more
