So me and the wife stopped in for a quick bite and a drink. The exterior seems cool. We go inside and just seat ourselves. We sat at a table with four chairs. Weird why I would put that in my review. However the reason I did was one complaint. My bony butt and the chairs were not friendly. Almost painful. We just got a few apps and drinks. All was very good. We didn't feel like we could tackle a full meal so just a few bites and some drinks. The price was reasonable for happy hour specials. The service was a bit slow. We were very impressed with this bar. A fun atmosphere with lots of TVs showing a variety of sports. They have a lot of seating options with booths, tables and high tables. The menu is quite extensive (for a bar) and everything we ordered was very good. The steak sandwich, snake bite pasta and chicken cordon bleu sandwich were all very delicious. So were the funnel fries, which was served with your choice of two sauces. We chose chocolate and caramel. Their french fries are double fried, very delicious. The coleslaw is also good, with big chunks and very crispy. Good beer selection. Great service, with Mariah doing a wonderful job and Joshua checking on us, as well as other staff members. Great spot for a Sunday night game, even if the Bears lost. Had an excellent time at Joe's Bar watching the game. Seating was tight, but they got creative and slapped a big board over the pool table to make extra seating. Not glamorous, but effective and honestly kind of genius. We ordered a pizza and some wings and both were exactly what you want from bar food. Solid, dependable, and satisfying. Prices were very reasonable, the vibe was fun, and despite the Bears taking the L, we still had a great time. I'm a Lions fan anyway. It's my wife who likes the Bears, so she took it a little harder. The waitress stopped by and quickly took drink orders. Their margaritas were quite good and strong, unfortunately they were out of some draft beers. We started with appetizers; Nachos, Jalapeno Poppers, and Shrimp Cocktail. The shrimp were huge, the Poppers were steaming hot and tasty. The Nachos could have used a bit more of the toppings. For entrees we had an Italian Sausage Sandwich, the Michael Jordan Chicago Beef Sandwich, a Grilled Cheese Sandwich, and a BLT. All were well prepared and presented. The marinara on the Sausage Sandwich was excellent. The service was very good, but she started to get bogged down as the lunch crowd filtered in. After living 18 years in Vegas I can finally say I've found my favorite bar!! This bar has everything from vibes, to great drinks, great food, and outstanding service. We walked in close to 11 and the bar was already packed. We were immediately greeted by the owner Joe, who also showed us to our table. I honestly thought the place had just opened because it looked brand new outside and super clean on the inside. The place is huge with lots of TVs, lots of seating, a pool table, and lots of Chicago decor. Cysteine immediately took our drink orders and gave us menus to look over. She was very sweet and energetic. We ordered the Michael Jordan Italian beef and combo platter. The beef came with hot giardinera peppers and it was juicy, authentic, and a taste of home (I'm from the Chi). Cysteine continued to check in on us and then shortly after Lauren took over. She is sweet as pie and also continued to check on us and quick with refilling our orders. BTW, she makes a killer michelada!!! The entire vibe was an amazing experience. At one point, Joe came over to introduce himself and engaged in conversation with us. I learned that he previously owned one of the restaurants I used to frequent but sadly closed. He brought the good vibes to Joe's bar and he and his entire staff made us feel very welcomed. Dont pay any mind to the one negative review, as I personally witnessed every single employee treat every customer, regardless of race and gender, with the upmost respect and hospitality. Every single employee was hustling and making sure everyone was taken care of, all while smiling in the process. You can definitely tell that Joe treats his employees like family and cares for them very much. In fact, during our conversation he made sure to say that none of it was possible without his amazing staff. Thank you Joe and staff for us feel welcome and for having such an awesome bar that we now plan to be regulars of. First time coming here with my best friend and we loved it! Megan was our bartender and she delivered excellent service! She made good drinks and taught us how to play the slots for the first time and beginners luck had me winning! :) The drinks were big and not just full of sugar. It actually had alcohol in it, not like most places here in Vegas. It's an old school sports bar where people come to get affordable food and smoke at the counter. The menu is definitely on the cheap side, with two dogs and fries costing $12, and while the beer selection can feel a bit limited, it certainly isn't what I would consider expensive to drink here. I have only ever come here to watch Bears games on a Sunday, and this place gets PACKED. To the point that they cover the pool table to get additional seats in there. The crowd really gets into it, so if you're looking for a high energy place to watch some football, this is certainly the spot. As I said, this isn't somewhere you are going to go to experience a deep beer list or discover a nice new craft. Typical local bar in Las Vegas, in my opinion nothing out of the ordinary. It has decent spacing. You can seat yourself to eat of course. One bartender on a Friday evening, so you are more than likely having to go fetch a menu. Though the customer service was good! We ordered two beers, there isn't much on draft, nor anything super remarkable. We ordered the meatballs and the Jordan sandwich, which mimicked a French dip with au jus! Meatballs were actually really good and great consistency, homemade we were told. The sandwich was good as well but could use just a little bit more flavor. The crowd in there seemed a little bore, the awkward stares when you walk in can be overwhelming sometimes but perhaps that is just me. I just know I want to walk into a judge free zone more times than none, as if I belong where I choose to go. There is one pool table that I noticed. Other than that I'd order food to go next time around. Don't get me wrong, it's still a decent local bar, so stop in and get your own feel to the vibes :) read more

Another bar. It pretty much is a local hangout. Joe's Bar is in the middle of almost nowhere. Close to the North Las Vegas Airport. There's not much to see here but there's cheap drinks and some greasy pub stuff. It also has gaming. Poker screens on the bar top you can play while getting drinks and food if you feel like taking a risk. The risk doesn't involve gambling, but eating here because it kind of looks sketchy. It's clean. The people here aren't bad either. It's just maybe not somewhere you think good food would be. The drinks are very cheap. About the cheapest anywhere. It's $2 for a well liquor. That's incredible and they're pretty strong. A place to chill awhile. If you really want food they have wings that people seem to like. They look average but supposedly are good though. read more

Went to Joe's Bar to watch the Chicago Bears destroy the LAs Vegas Raiders yesterday. I was pleasantly surprised how awesome this place was. Bears fans everywhere, not too smoky and sitting at the bar we were able to see the TV's perfectly, even though they are bog enough to see from anywhere. We had the pizza and it was awesome. The thing crust was just that, THIN. If you want deep dish or something thicker you can order that. But it was cooked to perfection and the sauce was delicious. My brother ordered the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich and he said it rocked. I stole some of his fries, and they were cooked perfectly and crisp. So we were two for two with the food. Bartenders never left our glasses empty and were very nice and sociable as well as the waitress who greeted us, as it was our first time. And finally I was able to hit four 2's with a kicker so I won a few bucks, ate some great food and enjoyed a great game with my fellow Bears fans. The only thing that sucks is that I live on the south end of town. Though I will definitely be back and would recommend to anyone. read more
