I've had Amano saved in my back pocket for a while now for an easy date night, given it's convenient location on the North side. Finally, tonight we were indecisive and decided to give it a try. The location isn't the prettiest from the outside. It's in a weird, gas station-adjacent strip mall. Inside is a surprisingly cozy, eclectic, and casual Italian diner. We made use of the paper mats and colored pencils. I see now why they recommend reservations; Amano is very intimate. We shared the Pasta Pie-zoni, made with the Cindy and the carbonara. The pizza was decent, although I hoped for a more pungent flavor from the gorgonzola and pesto. I couldn't even taste them over the overpowering sweetness from the balsamic glaze and dates. The pasta filled calzone portion was fun. Very salty, soft pasta (not al dente), and dough crusted with parmesean. The highlight was definitely the crust. Not too thick nor too thin, with good flavor and marinara for dipping. The pie-zoni is great for a family of 3 or two very hungry adults. The tiramisu was pretty disappointing, and I'd just skip dessert here altogether. Amano's serves novelty dishes rather than authentic or classy Italian. The pasta filled calzone held it's form pretty well, and the famous Fat Baby's looked like they did too. Creative dishes, kind service, and cozy feel. Great spot for a fun date, and very kid-friendly!

If you're visiting Las Vegas this is a must try! These Fat Baby's are TikTok viral and they taste amazing! I love the presentation and how unique of an item these are. There's so many different flavors and vegetarian options it's great for everyone. This hidden gem is great to get outside of the Strip and enjoy some delicious Italian food. This is a super cute mom and pop shop style restaurant with a smaller interior but super cozy for a good meal!

Fantastic! Ordering carry out was super easy and they do an amazing job of packaging to-go orders. The fettuccine carbonara fat baby was separated into multiple containers of bread, pasta (with sauce on it to keep it from being dry), and extra sauce with cheese to pour over and recreate the full experience. It was so good with just the right amount of seasoning and garlic. The pizza was great and "foldable" so it reminded me of pizza in New York. The garlic bread was also tasty. Josh took my order over the phone and also helped me when I was picking it up. He was fantastic! This was the perfect Saturday night option when I wanted great food via carry out. Amano was a win!

Found this online of must-do in vegas. I can say it was as advertised Great food. Pizza was great. Bread for both were excellent. Definitely should try. Pricey but definitely worth it.

This has consistently been our fav pizza place since moving to Vegas 4 years ago. The staff is so kind and attentive. The food is consistently delicious. My go to orders have been cheese/ half pepperoni Pizza, Caesar salad, chicken piccata with angel hair, carbonara (sub angel hair). The vibes are neighborhood pizza shop that cooks with lots of heart and uses fresh ingredients. From what i understand everything is made from scratch including their Caesar dressing

"How come no one ever invites ravioli to a party? He's a little square." Amano hit the spot! I was craving Italian food and passed by all the big chain restaurants to come here , best decision I made all week. Whether you're in the mood for a casual dinner or ready to challenge yourself with a "fat baby" (trust me, it's worth it), Amano delivers quality you just can't find anywhere else. You don't need TikTok, Instagram, or any influencer to tell you this place is legit. Just show up hungry and leave satisfied . Amano does the rest. Authentic flavors, great vibes, good service and food that speaks for itself. Mangia!

A Mano, Las Vegas This place may be tiny, but it packs a serious punch. Come hungry, no, come with a BIG appetite because the portions and flavors do not hold back. A Mano is an intimate, handmade pasta spot that has quickly built a loyal following for doing one thing exceptionally well: fresh, comforting Italian food made by hand (which is exactly what "a mano" means). With only about 7-8 tables, it feels more like a hidden neighborhood gem than a restaurant, and they also offer takeout if you can't snag a seat. Pro tip: try to visit outside of peak hours to make getting a table easier. The staff is absolutely lovely, warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly. From the moment you walk in, the simple, homey décor makes you feel like you've stepped into a Nonna's kitchen, where everything is made with love and zero shortcuts. They serve pizzas and pastas, but if you trust me on one thing, order the Fat Baby. This is the real good, gooey stuff. A sourdough cone wrapped around your choice of pasta, with the sauce and noodles cascading from the top... indulgent, messy, and completely worth it. Honestly, that dish alone is all you need. Spectacular. I've been here twice already and will absolutely be back. Highly recommend.

This place has become a must when visiting Vegas! Tried the Cindy pizza and I'll begin putting dates on future home made pizzas- delicious with a nice crispy crust. We had the fat baby fettuccine Alfredo, as tempted as we were to substitute the garlic cone with a slice a pizza, glad we didn't. Garlic cone is freshly baked, no additional indulgence needed Friendly attentive staff. It was our first stop as we arrived from LA.

I'm recommending only because the food was not bad. For a local Italian place it was ok. They could expand on the seafood on the menu as they only have Clams and shrimp. Shrimp is farm raised so I didn't eat but my dude did. I guess folks really like those cone pasta dishes which seemed to be popular. I had the baked ziti it was ok, I've had better. Thank goodness i asked for meat sauce and sausage which was late getting out to me. Place is intimate in a strip mall wasn't a problem. Service was good she was by herself place got crowded but she did well. I will come back to have the pizza which folks were ordering and it looked great.

The workers were very friendly. The place is a bit small so I encourage you to make an advanced reservation on Yelp. Ambiance was welcoming and with a positive vibe. Food has a great presentation, but lacks flavor or any spice in my opinion. The Fat Baby's are beautiful, however mine was falling over when it arrived so not entirely practical. Although Instagrammers love it. A fun outing but for the price, location (not centrally located), and taste, I'd skip it next time around.

Delicious! The lasagna fat baby is incredible. A must try. The inside is a little snug but the food was great. Most definitely will be back.

AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING!!! Make reservations!!! We waited a good 45 min to get seated. They take reservations first followed by walk ins. This is not a big place, so waiting outside may happen. Came on a Tuesday night, the place was packed. While we waited we looked over the menu, so that once we got seated we can order right away. Let me tell you something, we left not bloated at all and not gorged. You can tell that they made their food fresh. The fat baby was their high highest recommendation from word-of-mouth and as well through Yelp. I highly recommend getting it for the whole table as it was plenty for the three of us to share. Their pizza dough is it speechless. It's light, airy, and I found myself dipping the pizza crust into the fettuccine Alfredo sauce. Lastly, we ordered dessert, I have never in my entire life and enjoyed a dessert than I did at this place. Ordered zeppole were nicely, warmed coated with perfect powdered sugar, and the chocolate sauce certainly made its debut. This is a dessert you cannot miss!! granted this place is almost an hour out of where I live, (Henderson) but I will make the drive to come back to eat their fabulous food. The staff is very friendly given that we ate late and finally sat down around 8:15. They let us stay to enjoy our dessert a little after their closing hours.

    Ask the Community - Amano

Are any of the fat babies gluten-free?

No they are not. I'm not sure if they offer that option but they did not tell us it was an option.

Do you serve beer and wine?

    They do not.

Is it recommended for vegetarians, not vegan?

    Yes! They have vegetarian options!

Do you serve beer and wine?

Can you order a fat baby for pickup?

They offer Fat Baby Kits where you can assemble the whole thing at home, but they won't wrap up a whole Fat Baby to go since it'll look like a mess when you get home.

Can you show up without a reservation?

It's better to make reservations since they only have a few tables and get pretty busy

Do they accept reservation for one?

    Yes!

Are you able to accommodate a big group of 25 people ‽?

    No restaurant max is 15

    Does this restaurant serve alcohol?

No alcohol is served. They have Rosemary Lemonade, Pellegrino, Italian Cream Soda, and Soft Drinks.

    Can you reserve a table?

    Yes. It cost though.

Do they deliver to the strip?

I live 5 miles away in the Nortwest and they didn't deliver to me. I had to go pick up. It was worth it though!

What's the price for the Fat Baby? Is it the same as the pastas or the sandwiches?

The price of the Fat Baby depends on the cost of the protein you are including.

What's the price for the fat baby alfredo?

    $15.95

I see people reviewing/photographing the Fat Baby but it doesn't appear on their online menu. Is it a "hidden item" or a specialty that is only available some of the time?

It's only for dine in only

I saw on Facebook that this restaurant serves the "fat baby". A sub stuffed with pasta. But I don't see it on the menu. Are they currently serving it?

Yes..., they were a week-and-a-half ago when I was there. It is not on the menu but they mentioned it and any of their regular sandwiches could be made as a "Fat Baby".

    Do they serve wine?

    No, but you can B.Y.O.B.

Will I be able to order pasta around 1pm? I noticed it's on the dinner menu and I know most places won't serve the entree if it's on the dinner menu.

Yes we serve the full menu all day;)

Can we get a picture of the gluten free pizza?

    See their website.

Looking forward to trying your NY Italian food....can smell it from Summerlin...is it the pizza?

Yes, that amazing smell is pizza and Italian food. Lol We serve it all;)

We came with four people, and everything was delicious. 1. Veal Parmigiana - excellent 2. Spaghetti Aglio e Olio (added meatballs) - excellent 3. Veal Piccata - excellent 4. Complimentary garlic bread - excellent (TIP: Get some Gypsy Sauce on the side!) The interior is very crowded with a lot of people, furniture, and a live musician (who was great). Service: excellent! The servers have worked here for years, so you know they have pacing down to a science. Drink orders were taken right away. Then warm bread is served. Apps are dropped with time to digest a little before the meal. Servers check in without being overbearing. The entertainment also makes for an unforgettable experience. They sing the classics and encourage the cowed to join. It feels like your home, or at least visiting Nona's Sunday dinner. What I love about supporting this place is that they explain why tiki culture is popular with Italians. I had no clue. When I saw a tiki bar attached to the restaurant, I just thought it was a gimmick, but after reading about it, I thought it was the coolest thing. I love how they preserve this unique collaboration and influence of Polynesian culture. Also, my hubby is a big fan of the Jersey Shore. We had to check it out since they filmed there several times. One of my favorite places in Las Vegas. It's definitely a fun and cozy vibe.

We were so lucky that we did get a reservation because the food and experience was great! When we arrived, we were informed that we had booked our reservation for the wrong date, but they helped us get a table which we really appreciated. Once seated, our server greeted us and he was super friendly and high energy. What we really appreciated was when he went through the menu providing us with recommendations, he also shared his perspective on some dishes that didn't really stand out for him. This really helped us narrow down our order. We ordered the sourdough bread, a margherita pizza, the beef cheek, mussels, butter lettuce salad, and the Zucca. All the dishes were perfectly seasoned and balanced. The sour dough bread was crusty yet fluffy. We ordered the basil ricotta, anchovy butter, and the fegatini. The fegatini was rich and mild. The anchovy butter was briny and savory, but not overwhelming. The basil ricotta was good, but the flavors were a bit too mild for me. The margherita pizza was what I was hoping for in a pizza. The crust was crusty and tender. There was also the right amount of sauce and toppings. The Zucca and it was a very robust dish. The past was perfectly al dente and the dish was quickly consumed. The mussels were very tasty and a bit spicy. After squeezing some lemon juice on each mussel, all the mussels quickly disappeared from the dish. Lastly, the beef cheek. The beef cheek was perfectly braised where the beef shredded easily and was tender, but didn't fall apart. Given that the cheeks were glazed, we were concerned that it would be overly sweet. To our surprise, the glaze, though sweet, was done very well. Pairing the beef with the polenta resulted in the perfect bite. Overall, it was one of the best meals we have had in a while.
