A friend who just moved here recommended this matcha spot and we met up after not seeing each other since high school! My family also joined us. Parking's not too bad in the lot and there's plenty of inside seating. There's a communal table with lots of stools. Nice employees too. Drinks: Iced matcha latte Banana matcha Ube matcha Sesame hojicha Hojicha tea with oat milk Hot Americano coffee with splash of oat I ordered my fave Hojicha latte no sugar added with black sesame cream top and it was perfect! I tried the banana foam and it seems like more of a flavoring rather than real banana. It was sweet. Drinks overall were good and made with quality. 2 sizes available: 12oz or 16oz. We tried the egg salad sando. It wasn't bad. They offer tuna salad too along with crepe cake slices: matcha, ube, hojicha; cream puffs: matcha or ube; and panna cotta: matcha or yuzu. Great place for matcha & hojicha!
ORDER banana pudding matcha (4/5) very generous amount of banana pudding, which is a bonus! unfortunately, both the matcha and pudding was too sweet for me. strong matcha taste. artificial banana flavor. both paired very well together. SERVICE i came 30-40 minutes before closing, but the store was still busy inside. my experience felt very rushed. the cashier never asked me what size i wanted and immediately charged me for a large. unfortunately, i didn't realize there were 2 sizes until after i ordered. (i didn't look at the menu because i already knew i wanted the banana pudding.) the drink came out within 1 minute, so quick service! AMBIANCE very spacious inside. plenty of parking.
Our drinks were delicious! It was our first time visiting and I am so pleased we found this place. I am a huge fan of hojicha but to have the option of black sesame and cheese foan in it was literal perfection. The drink was balanced and not too sweet. We took a chance on their popular banana pudding matcha latte. I ordinarily would not pick something like this but it was so good! Another perfectly balanced drink; the banana pudding was light, refreshing and complimentary to the matcha. The staff was very helpful and we will definitely be back!

The young lady working at the counter was friendly, helpful, answered our questions and gave great suggestions. I ordered the banana pudding matcha and it was delicious. My son ordered the shaved ice with ube soft serve, bean paste and a few other ingredients. He said it was good but felt there was a lot going on in terms of flavors and textures. Maybe not the best choice for a first timer. The space is cute and is ideal for gathering with friends, studying, or really, any occasion...

My friends and I got matcha from here a month or 2 ago and it's pretty tasty! I got the Banana Pudding Matcha and it was really delicious! my boyfriend got the pistachio matcha and it was really good, i love a nutty matcha! Service was great! they're super sweet and they're very quick at making drinks. There's plenty of tables inside but they get filled up pretty quickly on the weekends.
I was in the area after lunch and walked over right when they opened. Very bright and airy inside. I love the decor. Took about 5-7 minutes until my drink was ready. I ordered the banana pudding matcha after reading so many reviews about this place. It was so delicious! I did get it less sweet and it was perfect for me! Spent the weekend in downtown Las Vegas and decided to look up what matcha places there were. So happy I decided to stop by Urban Matcha. Ordered Banana pudding matcha, they have two sizes, and I have no regrets choosing the large. Perfect amount of sweetness and you can also get less sweet. Matcha was strong, banana pudding was the perfect consistency, combined it was very creamy. If I had to describe it, it definitely compares to my favorite matcha place in the Bay Area Komeya No Bento. It was so good, I came back the next day. Sunday afternoon was packed, still found a table, and Monday morning came when it opened, few people came in to work and study, my fiancé and I came in to kill time before our flight home. Perks, there's outlets at the long table along the window. I wished they had a strawberry matcha latte that wasn't just the strawberry cheese foam, bc the cashier said it was a little salty I did not try it.

I love matcha, so of course I had to come here. This spot is in the heart of Chinatown and has a versatile menu with everything from matcha lattes and frappes to gelato, cream puffs, and hojicha. My friend and I got matcha parfaits, which had great variety and texture. They come with matcha gelato, red bean, mochi, chestnut, and matcha soufflé pieces. The matcha soft serve really stood out because it's smooth and has authentic matcha flavor. It's not as creamy as other ice-creams, but we liked that the flavor wasn't bitter or too sweet. I l loved the contrast of the textures in it, but we didn't care much for the agar jelly balls. My friend also really likes the black sesame gelato here. Everything is made in-house. It gets busy during peak times. It can be hard finding a spot in the parking lot, and tables fill up quickly. It seems like a popular place to hangout with friends, because there were a lot of groups in the cafe. Still, this is a great place to bring someone who loves matcha. This is definitely a unique gem in Vegas.
I've been coming to Urban Matcha for years (since it was originally Matcha Bar back in the day.) It is my go-to Matcha place, absolutely perfect Matcha flavor every time! Anytime I have friends or family visiting from out of town that are huge Matcha lovers I bring them here! They have plenty of seating, pretty nice size tables ranging from smaller squares, to larger circle tables to pretty good size community tables. Very clean, minimalistic, open space. It's a great place to hangout, it can get pretty busy sometimes. And that parking lot in general... sometimes I've gone there and had a hard time finding parking (I've actually left out of frustration before) it really just depends when you go. You do have a lot of really well-known local places in that shopping center that get incredibly busy especially late afternoon/early evenings on weekends from my experience. Haven't really had a problem when I've gone on a weekday. They have a really awesome menu! If you're not a Matcha person... but you're going with a matcha person.. they do have some coffee drinks as well! They have egg salad sandwiches and tuna sandwiches, and a few different desserts including layered crêpe cakes. My favorite thing to get there is their Matcha float latte, it's kind of the best of both worlds where you get your Matcha latte and a Matcha soft serve all in one! There are so many different combinations that you can get there of different types of green teas, either in tea form, latte, floats, parfait, and so many different flavors and toppings like they have their banana Matcha latte, which is really good!! They have quite a few flavors of soft serve (and don't worry for the ones that don't like Matcha, but are going with a Matcha person they have ones like black sesame, Ube, vanilla, etc. I miss their lychee flavor... I believe it was a limited time flavor, and I absolutely loved that soft serve... please bring it back!) and they're absolutely perfect, the texture and consistency of their soft serve is great. Tonight I got their Matcha and vanilla swirl soft serve on a waffle cone with chocolate syrup. (I had a birthday reward, They have a really awesome rewards program!) and it brought me joy in a way that I can't even put words and it was the perfect after dinner dessert and a great way to end the evening! It's an awesome place if in the middle of the day you need your Matcha fix, you need caffeine but you're not a coffee person. It's also really great place for a semi-late night (I believe they close at 10? so it's not like super late or anything, but still open until a pretty decent time) dessert and catch up with friends! Premium matcha, great service, and very flavorful products. I love matcha and as it gets warmer in Las Vegas I'm always looking for some delicious soft serve to get my hands on. Here they offer a lot of different drinks, soft serve, parfaits, shaved ice, and a few other treats and sandwiches. I haven't had their food yet but I'm going to try their egg salad very soon. The shop is small but I've never had a problem with finding a seat. Sometimes parking can be a hassle because it's in a very popular plaza with a lot of other great businesses. We decided to try because of the reviews, but unfortunately it does not live up to our expectation. Double Matcha: Matcha latte with cream top: 3.5/5. Ordered the matcha latte with double matcha, hoping for something bold, instead got an overwhelmingly vegetal, almost swampy flavor without any of the nuance that makes good matcha worth it. The matcha itself isn't shining through so much as it's just... grassy and flat. The cream top is fine, but it can't save what's underneath. Small portion for the price makes it harder to justify. Maybe we did not get their popular item, which is the matcha parfait and soft serve, but it's still quite disappointing. Cute interior with tables for study or work. read more

This has become my favorite spot for matcha soft serve. If you're looking for authentic, true-to-flavor rather than just a sugar rush, this is the place to go. They offer a few variety, including Matcha, Black Sesame, Ube, and Vanilla. Each one tastes exactly like it should--earthy and rich, not artificial. $6.79 for a cone or cup. Urban Matcha offers a very versatile menu with a great selection of drinks and desserts. Everything is made fresh in-store and well prepared. Some of their desserts genuinely remind me of the ones I had in Kyoto, which I really appreciate. The service is excellent. I initially forgot to ask for my matcha drink to be less sweet, but when I mentioned it, the staff was more than happy to remake it without hesitation. They were friendly, accommodating, and made the experience feel welcoming. This kind of service truly makes you want to come back. The interior is clean, well maintained, and has a pleasant atmosphere. Parking can be a bit tricky since there are only a few spots directly in front, so parking on the other side of the plaza is a better option. Urban Matcha is always packed (and good luck finding parking), but one sip and you'll see why. I first came with a friend visiting from out of town and I've been hooked ever since. On Wednesday, 5/6/2026, I visited with friends who recommended the place to me. We all love matcha and have been exploring new spots. Crowded with lines, but the service is very fast. We enjoyed our drinks. We got a ube matcha and a yuzu drink. Both were great. We also got a yuzu panna cotta but it didn't have the texture of panna cotta. The texture was more like jello. I came to Urban Matcha here in Las Vegas because it kept showing up on my feed nonstop, so I finally decided to check it out and honestly, wow. This place delivered in every way. The matcha flavor is a solid nine out of ten. They have all kinds of milk options, from plant based to regular, and I tried the Pumpkin Matcha and the Banana Pudding Matcha. Both were insane. The flavor, the texture, the balance, everything was exactly where it needed to be. They use around four grams of matcha for a medium drink, so the color, the richness, that perfect green, you can taste the quality immediately. Something I noticed, and I might be wrong, but I'm pretty sure I saw they had a batch of matcha already mixed with milk. And here's the thing: even though the drinks tasted really good, matcha that's prebatched with milk oxidizes faster, loses freshness quicker and the flavor doesn't stay as bright or as clean as when it's just batched with water. The milk changes the pH, so the matcha fades a little faster. It didn't ruin anything, the drinks still tasted amazing, but it's something I definitely noticed because you can tell when a place really knows how to handle matcha and when they're cutting a corner that could affect the final result if the batch sits too long. The only thing that caught me off guard, especially for a matcha place that also sells desserts and things people usually get for breakfast, is that they open at noon. I don't know if it's a Las Vegas thing, but it surprised me. Still, once they're open, everything they do is on point. The service was normal in a good way. Not incredible and not bad, just fine. And the place is super cute and perfect if you want to sit, work or study. The menu is huge with a ton of options beyond matcha, but matcha is clearly the star. If you love matcha, like really love matcha, Urban Matcha is a place you absolutely need to visit in Las Vegas. It's completely worth it. read more

Love the matcha and hojicha here and that you can adjust the sweetness (done in increments of 25). I got the banana pudding matcha with 0% sweetness, and it was perrrrfect. The banana top tasted fresh and not artificial while the matcha was delicious! Not bitter, and it had a good earthy taste. Service was quick. A few tables around - could potentially be a good spot to study during the day? They do have wifi! Parking is tough because there are lots of great stores in the plaza.. just be patient or park in the plaza across the street. So so excited for their new location opening in the southwest! read more

The first time I ever had matcha wasn't the best of taste and since then I never ever had a matcha until "URBAN MATCHA" which brought back the greenery into my life. HAHAHA.. It definitely tasted culinary grade matcha, the vibrant colour and the delicious earthy taste with so many combinations to choose from is kickass !! Loved the Ube combo with it, I definitely need to try more flavours, the strawberry cheese cap was just fine. Despite a good crowd their service was quick. The matcha is so good here. It doesn't taste fake or loaded with sweetness. It taste like some of the matcha I have had in Japan. The ice cream is pretty good too. I don't think it has dairy. They do have milk alternatives. I've been coming here since it was cafe matcha maiko and before it got popular on TikTok. The only negatives is that they give you a lot of ice, making it feel like you have very little matcha. For the size, it's also pricey. I would recommend coming before 4pm. If you come after, there is no seating, no parking, and long wait lines. It's super noisy too so would not recommend studying or working here if that is your thing. read more

this place was BUSY!!!! i ordered their matcha parfait. i did black sesame and ube as my swirl. service was great. the gal was so patient with me bc i had just a few questions lol lots of seating, but it was really busy so had to wait for a table. the orders did all come out fairly quickly. the matcha parfait was def delicious! a lot going on. but all the flavors did mix well. would def go again. ambiance was cool. it was pretty clean for how busy it was. parking: omg this parking lot is disaster. parking entering, exiting, trying park and trying to get out of their spot. no one wanted to wait for the other person .. read more
Stopped by on a Friday and was able to order right away since there weren't many customers. I ordered the parfait--it was just okay for the price ($12+ with tip). The matcha soft serve itself wasn't sweet, and most of the sweetness came from the other toppings inside the parfait. The shop has plenty of seating on slower days, but I've also been here on a busy date night, and it was so crowded there wasn't even room to stand. All I can say is wow.... The matcha here really lives up to the hype. They have so many options here, it can be a little overwhelming finding a drink but odds are whatever you choose, you'll like it. I was so torn between getting a matcha latte or a matcha soft serve, so I opted for both and got the matcha latte float. Omggggg it was so good, I was in matcha heaven. Everyone else that I was with also enjoyed their drinks. It's kind of unfortunate that I discovered this place because now I have super high expectations when I try matcha from anywhere else. Came in for a tasty little pick-me-up and noticed that this cafe was completely packed, which I completely understood after trying their lattes. I saw groups of people chillen and catching up along with others who were studying. Overall, Urban Matcha is not only a cute, trendy cafe with plenty of seating and fast service but it also serves genuinely good quality matcha. I got the matcha kuromitsu kinako latte and my friend got the hojicha latte. If at any point you decide to give Urban Matcha a try, I highly recommend either of these two drinks. The nuttiness of the kinako was so tasty. Their hojicha was also very delicious. Neither of the drinks we got tasted super milky but they were both on the sweeter side. In the future, I would just adjust the sweetness level. This is definitely a spot I would frequent if it were closer to me! read more
