I grew up in upstate New York, where this ice cream shop was a go-to spot for a sweet treat after dinner. However, this location has fallen short of its former glory in terms of customer service and quality ice cream. During my recent visit, I requested a strawberry shortcake sundae w/light whip and they decide to make one without the strawberry sauce. When I returned to collect it, they had made one with a tart strawberry sauce, likely due to it being out of date. This incident prompted me to question the competence of the store's associates and management. Mind you the store was not busy and my order was a drive-through order. And when I walked up to have them correct the order it's as if he knew he messed up and made it without question. I urge the owners to address these issues promptly. I've had this spot on my "must try" list for a while and was happy to finally make the trip today. I appreciate that they post their daily flavors online so you can narrow down your choices ahead of time. If still indecisive, they allow you to sample the flavors, which I did today. I easily could have been satisfied with a single scoop, but that's not an option. That being said, you definitely get your money's worth here! There is a shaded outdoor area with misting fans, which is much appreciated in the Vegas summer heat. I quickly dug into my cone as it was melting in the heat. They boast about making their ice cream in house daily and I could definitely tell the difference. It was very creamy and full of the promised graham flavor. I've seen many people mention this ice cream spot, so we decided to try it out on a whim while passing by. There is an outdoor covered seating area with misters, a walk up window, and a drive thru. I don't have a favorite, but if I did it would probably be the Graham Central station, or Rocky Road, or the Banana, or maybe the peanut butter and jelly. Whatever flavor it is, I'll be ordering it in a waffle bowl. The waffles are crispy yet thick enough to use to scoop your ice cream. I researched and found that their NSA ice cream contains about 5-11 grams of sugar for up to 5.2 oz of ice cream. They tend to have 3 NSA items and switch the flavors frequently. I have better options here than at Handels and they won me over. They also tastes delicious and can't tell that their NSA ice cream contains less sugar. They have the option to sit out or drive-thru.
