Blast from the past I saw this this place a few days ago while on a Ross run and if you know me you know I love a sweet treat. I walked in and immediately fell in love with all the 80's -90's nostalgia. This shave ice ice cream shop was has so much memorabilia I couldn't stop smiling. What a hidden gem. The service was great and the shave ice was even better. I can't wait to come back! read more

If you're even thinking about going to Up in Scoops... just go. Seriously. This place is such a vibe. From the moment you walk in, it feels like stepping into a full-on 70s, 80s, 90s time capsule -- neon colors, movie posters everywhere (Back to the Future, Gorillaz, Star Wars?!), and shelves packed with nostalgic collectibles that will have you saying "wait, I remember that!" every five seconds. The details are EVERYTHING. There's even a whole Star Wars section with a Death Star setup and a Millennium Falcon hanging overhead, like?? Who thought of this?! And don't get me started on the random gems like the Homer head in the greenery wall or the "Employee of the Month" Akeem frame... it's chaotic in the best way. Now the ice cream just as good as the atmosphere. Super creamy, rich, and generous scoops. I grabbed a cup and it did not disappoint. Perfect texture, not icy at all, and you can tell they care about what they're serving. Also, the whole "themed ice cream shop" concept actually delivers. It's not just decor slapped on the walls it feels curated, fun, and honestly a little immersive. This is the kind of place you go for ice cream and end up staying way longer just looking around and taking it all in. 10/10 for: Atmosphere Creativity Nostalgia overload Ice cream quality Definitely coming back... and bringing people with me next read more

I think I just found my new favorite sweet treat spot! I've been CRAVING for a banana split, and when I saw the Neo banana split I had to get it! We ordered two Oreo shakes (one with an espresso shot and whipped cream on top), Neo banana split, and two scoops of ice cream in a waffle cone! Besides the deliciousness, inside is super cool and has a lot of cool spots to take some photo ops. The service was awesome too, the employee helped us with any questions we had and was super patient while we looked thru the menu. So excited to come back again! read more

After eating dinner at Sparrow & Wolf on a Friday evening, my husband and I decided to stop by Up In Scoops for a sweet treat! This ice cream shop is located on West Sahara Avenue, towards the 95 N/S. This ice cream shop is a tribute to the pop culture of the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s! I was in awe at the dessert shop! After walking in, I was fully immersed in the vintage posters, arcade games, and all of the memorabilia. Before looking at all of the decorations, I did decide to order first. Their menu has a wide range of ice cream flavors, milkshakes, signature spaghetti sundaes, and so much more! I looked on their menu on Yelp before coming, so I already knew what I was getting, the large peanut buttercup milkshake, with a chocolate base and whipped cream! There were a few other families ahead of us, which gave me plenty of time to look at all of the cool vintage items in Up in Scoops. Some of their arcade games included Donkey Kong and Galaga! On the wall towards the bathrooms, you could see their display of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! There is a large section dedicated to Star Wars! If you're a big fan of Star Wars, you need to come to Up in Scoops just to look at all of their memorabilia! They had a lot of posters on the wall, that you could even purchase! I saw one of Studio Ghibli themed that had My Neighbor Totoro and Howl's Moving Castle (one of my favorites!). After about 15 minutes, the milkshake was ready! It was perfect! Most of the peanut buttercup was blended in smoothly with the milkshake! The service was great! This is a great hidden gem, and if you're in the area, craving some ice cream, you should stop by Up in Scoops! read more

Up In Scoops - Banana Split - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Las Vegas, Nevada

80s /90s theme ice cream shop Decorated from wall to wall with toys, action figures, magazines, movies, musicians, celebrities, posters and cut outs of some of the most popular, colt classic things that the film, music, entertainment and toy genre had to offer from the aforementioned decades. It was a great time to be alive.... The ice cream was good with zero complaints. The customer service was friendly. There were quite a few people ahead of us so the serve time was a bit slow. But we didn't mind because we took the opportunity to exchange a couple of dollars for a handful of quarters to play the Pac-Man and donkey Kong arcade game located at the front of the ice cream shop. read more

The Good: The place is filled with retro pop memorabilia. Cute concept with all sorts of things to whisk you back in time. Super friendly service. The Bad: No samples, so expect a taste surprise of very mediocre ice cream which reminded me of budget off brand supermarket ice cream. We had 3 flavors, all low quality, unremarkable and not worth the caloric intake. The Ugly: Upcharge to use credit card read more

Did shopping and seen this spot, at first I was just coming in tot take a look but the kids decided they wanted ice cream. Upon entering the whole spot is a blast from the past, real 90s vibe. I loved the style, they had a variety of items from milkshakes, gelato, ice cream, sodas, water, nachos, and shaved ice. My oldest ordered a cinnamon French toast shake which he gave a 7/10, my youngest ordered one scoop of cookies and cream which okay. There is a charge for using your debit or credit card which I discrete care for. One scoop of ice cream was almost $4 and shakes started at $6. Nice place to Reena's but I probably would've buy here again. Only one person was working ... most likely the owner and there were other people there so, there was a little bit of a wait. read more

BEST ICE CREAM SHOP EVER!!!! RAD 80's/90's themed decor everywhere you looked. This place is CHOICE!!! Stand up arcade game for a quarter (Pac Man, Galaga, 1942, etc...) Lots of funny pop culture humor & some really cool collectibles. Oh yeah, & the ice cream was AWESOME!!! read more

Super cool retro ice cream shop. They have tons of 80s pop paraphernalia so you can reminisce and take pics with Han Solo in carbonite. For an Oreo sundae and it was so ample, I thought I would die. It better be for the price. Only a couple of cons for this place- I didn't like being forced to tip since trying to not tip voids the transaction and the employee had to process it again. This happened to other customers so it definitely is shady. Also, the place kinda smells like garbage. If it weren't for those two things, I'd love the place. read more

Jaw drop. Up In Scoops is hands down one of the coolest ice cream spots I've been to. The shop is packed with fun pop-culture tributes from the '70s, '80s, and '90s, total nostalgia overload in the best way. The shaved ice itself is next level. Smooth, flavorful, and honestly just as good as shaved ice in Hawaii (which says a lot). Every bite was refreshing and perfectly balanced--not overly sweet. Great vibes, great flavors, and a spot that's just as fun to hang out in as it is to eat at. Definitely a must-stop if you're in the area We have added this spot to our must when we visit vegas! read more

LOVE this place! It gives me so much great nostalgia, I'm sad I didn't come visit sooner! Great place to take the kids as they have some board games and machines to play. Plenty of areas to take pics. The guy at the counter was awesome and kind. My son loved his ice cream, although a simple chocolate ice cream lover, he devoured it. Love this new ice cream shop. Love the theme and decor. They have arcades, star wars memorabilia, etc. They also have posters for sale. This shop is small with just a few tables. Unfortunately, all tables were occupied when we arrived so we just ate our desserts inside the car. Their menu is extensive. Whether you're in the mood for ice cream, gelato, sorbet, shave ice, milkshake, or float, they have it all. They also have a good selection of sauces and toppings available. My friend got chocolate gelato. It was rich and delicious. I got the Mango-lorian sorbet. It was refreshing; exactly what I needed to beat the summer heat. Customer service was great! Staff was friendly and helpful. Will be coming back for sure. read more

My daughter and I were craving some ice cream. We were close by and I yelped "ice cream shops" and this popped up. We walked in and were wowed by the facility. It's very retro! Talk about a blast from the past! They had movie posters and tv posters from the 80's and 90's. They also had magazine covers from the 90's from Teen and Bop magazine. They even have the original connect 4 games sitting on the table so you can play while you eat your delicious ice cream. On top of that, there's also a claw machine, a Donkey Kong arcade machine and a PacMan machine too! Very fun experience. Now, for the ice cream my daughter just got a plain vanilla and I just got a butter pecan. BUT there are so many fun types of ice cream combos that you can get, even some that look like noodles! I promise, when we go back, we will be a little braver and try something out of our comfort zone. read more

Super cool place for ice cream for the kids and the adults who enjoy a fun place to see and hang out. Truly old school place with plenty to see . I enjoyed the blast from the past!! I'll be back again . They even have cool 80s video games. Close to the LV Strip, near the palace station and close to a In-N-Out burger. Up In Scoops was an unusual ice cream parlor. The ice cream was ordinary with average flavor. Large helpings apparently explained the high price. I had a Banana Split. It was colorful, large with mounds of ice cream, and way too much to eat for two people. The sauce flavors were typical and average. The Split was nothing great...I could make it at home. The real draw of UIS was the interior decor. Drawing on the uniqueness of the 80's & 90's, there was an abundance of games, music and people on exhibit. Crammed into every space were memories of days gone by and the joy they inspired. Background music is era correct. Looking for the occasional trip back to your youth? This is the place! A great spot to cool down and enjoy some good ice creams and milkshake. I've never been here before so I have no sense of nostalgia but the place looked fun and inviting nonetheless. There are functioning arcade games to spend some time in and plenty of spots for a tiny corner ice cream parlor to walk around and explore. The menu is fun and playful and the milk shake was great. Service was also helpful and fast. If I have one complaint it'd be that the lids used for the milkshake cups with whipped cream aren't suitable together because it just caused the milkshake to drip out the sides as it melted; my husband got one and all the whipped cream just spilled out the rim. read more

I've driven by Uo In Scoops for the past year thinking it was maybe a basketball jersey shop...I know...I KNOW! I should have just double checked and would have been able to experience their amazing treats even sooner! It was after work and I had been having a rough week so I ordered 2 things. I ordered one scoop of Salted Caramel Toffee ice cream and tried ordering an Orange Creamsicle shaved ice but the lady who was helping me let me know they were sold out. She suggested I try it in Strawberry. The ice cream was good and creamy and had little toffee bits but my favorite item was the shaved ice! I'm not sure what kind of machine they got inside but this shaved ice was second only to the shaved ice I've had in Hawaii. It was so soft and fluffy and had such a great texture. I stopped myself from eating it too fast that I could enjoy the experience longer. OMG!! I can't wait to go back and get the orange creamsicle one!!! If I would t have gotten there like 15 mins before closing I think I could give more insight on ambiance but it was lonely when I went. They do play old rock music and there is lots of comic book and 90's memorabilia on display and for sale. Pretty dope! Thank you!! read more

We were craving ice cream on this warm day and Up In Scoops has been on my list so we decided to check it out! It is located in a big shopping plaza with lots of parking. As soon as we walked in we were greeted and we were taken away by all the decor inside! It is a 70s, 80s & 90s themed shop which we loved! We were a little overwhelmed with the menu because there are so many options! They have everything from ice cream to milkshakes and even shave ice! The girl went over the menu and also recommended her favorite which was the banana split. My daughter ordered a Strawberry Cheesecake gelato and I ordered a scoop of Rocky Road in a waffle cone. My husband couldn't decide and passed this time. While waiting we walked around and everything brought us back to our childhood days! There are even arcade games to play! There are posters for sale as well. There are a few tables and some games. Very cool spot! We took our ice creams to go but next time we'll eat in! read more

Walking into Up In Scoops is like taking a time machine back to when life made sense -- you know, when your biggest problem was rewinding your VHS tape before Blockbuster fined you 50 cents. This place is a vibe. It's dripping with 70s, 80s, and 90s nostalgia -- neon arcade signs, cassette tapes on the walls, and posters of icons who raised us better than some of our parents did. The menu is a beautiful disaster of childhood dreams. Where else can you pair a Flintstones Push Pop with a sprinkle-topped banana split and not be judged for singing "Ice Ice Baby" at full volume? I half-expected to see Zack Morris and Kelly Kapowski sitting at the next table sharing a sundae and relationship drama. And the ice cream itself? Oh, honey -- it's a righteous explosion of creamy, colorful goodness. I had a scoop so good I swear I heard faint echoes of the "Saved by the Bell" theme song playing in the background. The staff? Radical. Super friendly, decked out in retro gear, and somehow able to smile patiently while I asked if they had any Dunkaroos hidden behind the counter. If you're looking for a serious trip down memory lane -- with the bonus of brain freezes and sugar highs -- Up In Scoops is where it's at. Just don't blame them when you leave singing Spice Girls at the top of your lungs and craving a Tamagotchi. read more
