Vanilla crape is sooo good here, this place is been a hidden gem for a while, the service from the blonde girl at the cashier is super friendly and kind, will comeback again.

Matcha crepe cake was on the bland side for me.

UPDATE: It's been a little over 6 yrs since I've been here. Last time we came here was for my daughter's birthday. Why have we never been back?? We got here at 6:30pm on a Mon night and had to circle the parking lot a few times to find parking. Oh yeah, the parking! That's why I haven't been back! When it's prime time, parking is scarce. After 3 rounds, we found a spot what says 'Reserved'. We figured it was after business hours so we took our chance. The place was pretty busy when we walked in. Luckily there were a few tables for us to choose. My daughter and I each ordered a drink and a dessert. My daughter had the strawberry crepe cake. She was surprised that it looked dried out. She pulled off the top layer and it was like paper. We both took a bite and unfortunately it was a little stale and had the freezer burn taste. We were just going to leave it alone and since I had the honey toast, we had a few bites of that and it was good. The guy working there checked on us and we let him know about the crepe cake. He apologized repeatedly and offered a replacement. We didn't want to bother him so we told him that it was okay and we understand sometimes things happen. (We're in customer service and food industry.) Minutes later, the guy came back to our table and apologized again. He said that he took the charge off of the crepe cake and brought us a matcha crepe cake since IS SWEET is out of the strawberry one. It was the sweetest thing the guy did. We did not ask for it and it shows that he (we didn't get his name) and the restaurant are true professions and care about their business. THANK YOU. I really appreciate the service and will definitely come again. *looking at my posted picture from 6 yrs ago, we had a matcha crepe cake then too! lol

Came back for more. But they don't open until 1PM everyday and close at midnight. So had to pass it up as it was mid morning when I was in the area.

The crepe cakes here are adorable and yummy! My friend and I had the matcha and strawberry flavors-- both were light, creamy and not overly sweet. The matcha sauce was a nice touch! Only reason it's 4 stars instead of 5 is the customer service-- not bad, just kinda meh. Maybe they were ready to clock out early since it was about two hours before closing. I'm used to a bit more energy or friendliness at dessert spots!

We tried the sizzling brownie and the tiramisu latte. Brownie was really good, latte was decent. Cute little spot overall, and it was pretty busy when we went.

Great study spot! They have comfy chairs and tables, as well as outlets to charge. The music is not too loud and volume is at a minimum. I always come for their crepe cakes and they never miss! Service is quick and employees are friendly.

I feel sad about my daughter's birthday because I went to a bakery that specializes in crêpe cakes and placed an advance order for a matcha cake. Instead, they gave me a "green tea" cake of crêpe absolutely stuffed with whipped cream. That cake tasted like nothing but whipped cream. Now, if you happen to like whipped cream, then by all means, go to this bakery. It was a crêpe cake drowned in whipped cream; the only flavor was whipped cream. I ordered a crêpe cake, not a whipped cream cake! You waste your time and money, only to end up with what amounts to a tub of whipped cream. It's so sad--my daughter's birthday was ruined because of that cake; nobody ate it. it is not worth the money And they won't give you a refund. My mom wrote this review. She was very disappointed and I was too on my birthday. The cake crêpe looks beautiful, but the tasted like nothing but heavy whipped cream and I paid $97 which is not worth it at all. In the atmosphere, doesn't look very cozy at all and the seats looked very uncomfortable, but I highly don't recommend this place. There are much more way better places in cozier places, and even comfortable places.

Cutsie dessert cafe, who has your back if you need a pad. Classy. Sizzling brownie is delicious. The spoons are tiny shovels. The workers keep the place clean and are very nice.

My friend and I were looking for dessert place that is open late night and this place was the nearest one. When we got there the store was full. The guy who took my order was nice. But the thing is I waited probably ten minutes for my drink. I ordered the chocolate lava frappe non coffee which is okay too sweet for me. They should add more crepes to their menu. The store was cute and all and they should hire third person for faster service.

First stuff you walked in this place is super tiny so it's definitely hard to get a seat. Next we ordered the honey toast. It had strawberries, banana, whipped cream, and condensed milk on it. I forgot to get ice cream on it, but it was still good. I wish it was a little more crunch here but it was fine. I tasted good. I put that between 2 to 3 people depending on how much you like sweets. The Service is OK. It was prompt. There was no space I asked who stuff was on the table and asked if we could sit there. They kindly moved their items. They moved it to the back so we could sit at a table. That was very nice of them. Do you like bringing people to this place because it's tasty. Will definitely be back.

Late at night, my friend and I decided to check this place out. I ordered Thai Iced Tea Crepes Cake. Holly Molly wow wow wow. This place I am in love with! Definitely recommend this. It was so delicious. Everyone who works there are friendly too! Love this place!

Cute little dessert spot in the Chinatown area! We stopped by around 10:30pm and there were still a good amount of people inside. With a party of 8 we had to pull some chairs from other tables but it wasn't a big deal. We ordered at the counter and shared: - Matcha crepe cake - Great matcha flavor, not too sweet, well layered - Honey toast - Well baked on the outside for that satisfying toasty crunch but still fluffy and soft on the inside! Also not too sweet and had just the right amount of ice cream and fruits to go with the toast. They were deceivingly large sizes (esp the toast) so I would recommend sharing a few things, but both were honestly super tasty and I was impressed by both! They also sell drinks but I personally didn't try any. I would say their dessert menu is not terribly extensive compared to other dessert spots I've been to, but I would def come back if craving honey toast or a mille crepe cake and would recommend it if you're looking for a solid late night dessert spot near this area.

Didn't feel like trekking to the strip for Lady M so thought we'd give this place a try. Super cozy and lively inside, seemed like a lot of groups were hanging out there. Can't speak to their other desserts or drinks so this is only about their matcha crepe cake. Couldn't really taste the matcha that much even though they had a matcha cream on the side to pour on top. Honestly, the cake was more cream than crepe. I couldn't make out the individual layers of the crepes at all and it was pretty much a mush of cream. If you're looking for a Lady M dupe, save yourself the trouble and just head to Lady M.

Can I order an entire crepe cake for a birthday party?

    Yes

    Do you guys do delivery?

We do not have delivery available. Thanks.

Can I make all the drinks (such as smoothies or pistachio frappes) vegan/with non-dairy options?

They they do have non-dairy milks. Some of the drink options have skim milk added to the mix already, so be sure to ask when ordering.

What time do they open? We got there around 1:05pm and they were still closed.

They are usually open from 12 pm to 12 midnight everyday. If they are closed today its probably because of Memorial Day.

The matcha parfait was good with a nice creamy texture and flavoring. However, I have one complaint. When coming with two others where we are lactose sensitive and with one having an allergy to oats, they wanted to try the matcha latte's and we asked if they can make with almond milk . The female worker said they don't have almond milk and only do oat or whole milk which was odd, and I asked again to confirm and was told no. They ended up having to do whole milk despite being lactose intolerant and was bothered. I look through here from comments by the owner saying that they CAN substitute with almond milk, which is confusing and a little annoying that we were told they don't substitute almond milk and was never told a reason why. That's one complaint for those who might be allergic to oat milk or are lactose sensitive: There is barely any option to accommodate and for that I give three stars. I probably would not come back again nor recommend because of the lack of accommodation for those who cannot have oat/almond milk. However despite that it is good to try once.

There was a time when I came almost every week,…read moreand whenever my friends had birthdays, I would preorder their cakes here because I genuinely love the quality of the desserts. My family and I have supported Suzuya since the very beginning, when the first location opened on Durango. We've watched the business grow over the years, which makes this experience even more disappointing. Unfortunately, today's visit was one of the worst customer service experiences I've had. I ordered a breakfast crepe, a curry cheese sandwich, a mango mochi, and a whole cake. The breakfast items were served without any fork or knife. When I asked for utensils, there was no effort to provide them. The mango mochi was also served without utensils. When I politely asked the staff member wearing the mask for a fork, she simply replied, "You don't need utensils." That response honestly surprised me. Mango mochi is sticky and messy to eat by hand. It wasn't about the fork itself--it was the complete lack of willingness to provide even the most basic customer service. The bigger issue was when I purchased a birthday cake for a friend. I was told there were no bags available for a 6-inch cake. However, I saw other customers receiving bags. I even asked, "If I buy two more cakes, making it three cakes total, would you be able to give me a bag? I only have two hands." The answer was still no. That response simply made no sense. What made the experience even more upsetting was how I was treated because I had my service dog with me. My dog is a professionally trained service dog--not a pet. He remained calm throughout the entire visit. He never barked, never approached anyone, never disturbed other customers, and simply laid quietly beside me. Despite that, I was questioned about whether he was a service dog, whether he had a service vest, and then told that because I had my service dog with me, we would have to sit outside. I found this extremely disappointing. My dog was behaving exactly as a trained service dog should, yet I was still directed outside solely because he was with me. I sincerely hope the staff receive proper training on how to respectfully interact with customers who rely on service animals. Every customer deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. After being directed outside because of my service dog and then repeatedly being refused basic accommodations that should have been simple to provide, it became difficult not to question whether my service dog influenced the way I was treated. I truly hope that wasn't the case, but it certainly felt that way. This isn't just my opinion anymore. Many friends have shared the same experience with me over the years: the cakes are excellent, but the customer service is consistently disappointing. People return because the desserts are amazing--not because of the hospitality. Sadly, it often feels like there's no warmth or genuine care for customers. I've always heard wonderful things about Mike, and from what I've seen, he seems like a genuinely kind person. I can't help but wonder how he would feel if he knew loyal customers were leaving with experiences like this. I'm usually not someone who complains or leaves negative reviews. It takes a lot for me to write something like this. But after years of supporting this business, I believe this experience needed to be shared. Suzuya truly makes fantastic desserts, and that's exactly why this review is so disappointing for me to write. Great products should never be an excuse for poor customer service. Loyal customers deserve to feel welcomed, respected, and appreciated--not dismissed.
