sweet mong: matcha bingsu and coconuts passion fruit. so soft light and fluffyy! the matcha bingsu came w red beans, sliced almonds and mochi. rlly liked there redbean paste cuz it wasnt too sweet and v smooth w little red bean chucks. the ice was sooo lightt and refreshing! the coconut passion fruit was tropical and even more refreshing! the mangos on top was the sweetest and pairs well w the passfruit seeds. also rlly enjoyed the coconut based icee! definitely recommend checking this place out.
Craving for some mango dessert, we decided to stop by Sweet Mong. The workers were nice and patient as we navigated the menu. We ordered the Mango Tango Bingsoo which is Mango Syrup. Mango Topping Boba and Rocks Candy. I loved the shaved ice which was shaved fine. It was a delicious dessert. They had a little sign stating they had butter mochi. YAY, I placed the order to go. It was good but it was burnt. I was not a fan of it and I love butter mochi. I enjoyed the fish bread with red bean. It was delicious. :) Overall, great and clean spot. Stop by and give them a visit.
Sweet Mong was a recommendation from my girlfriend. It was a croffle store that left an impression on her in the last Las Vegas trip. We made a visit on the 1st day and arrived right when they opened at 11:30 AM. Parking is available but it is in a lot with other businesses. However, it was busy at the time. I was lucky to grab one of the last few spots. It was even busier by noon. There are seating both inside and a little patio on the side of the store. We sat inside because it was hot that day and they were blasting the A/C. Restroom is available but will need a key. We took a look at the menu beforehand so I ordered right away. It only took a few minutes for it to be ready. There is a little water station available near their counter. Despite having a lot of sweet options, we came here for the savory options. The spicy tuna salad avocado and avocado egg salad croffles were our orders. The tuna one was honestly not that spicy but definitely hits the savory craving. The egg one leans on the sweeter side. Both of these were really good and were a good balance of flavor profiles together. Highly recommend both! Sweet Mong is easily a store I'd come back to try other dishes.
Bingsu is a Korean dessert consisting of a fine shaved ice base (consistency of snow) topped with an assortment of usually sweet toppings. We chose the mango bingsu which had a bit of sweet cream, mango chunks & mango popping boba. Delicious & sweet but not overly so. The black sesame/red bean paste bingsu was more muted and apropos for Asian tastes. The large size runs about $4 more than the regular but is definitely more shareable. Service is counter serve and friendly. Basic modern decor with seating for about 40.
We got the passionfruit coconut bingsoo in their smaller size cup rather than the large bowl. It was perfect for two people since we were already pretty full from eating dinner before coming here. The bingsoo was refreshing and didn't have an overwhelming amount of coconut flakes. There were no passionfruit seeds thank goodness since those can be really hard to eat. The cafe was really cute and had a good amount of seating.
During my trip from San Diego, we popped in for dessert. We ordered the Mango Tango Bingsoo and butter mochi and last minute we ordered red bean filled fish. The bingsoo was refreshing and sweet! I love the sweet, finely shaved ice. And the mango chunks were ripe and satisfying. I preferred the red bean filled fishes over the the butter mochi. But overall, everything was great.!
Ordered mini custard brûlée and a small strawberry cheesecake bingsoo. Both were big enough to share, even in a mini size. The crepe was decent. The strawberries inside were fresh, and the custard had a nice consistency. However, I didn't like the overall taste to it. The strawberry bingsoo was good, but I wish there were more of the toppings. By the time I got to the end there was a lot of ice left, but no toppings to go with it.
Nice cafe with a good variety of menu items! I got the rose milk tea hot with boba and the truffle prosciutto crepe. Both the drink and crepe was good. I wish the crepe was crispier but I can see how that might make it hard to hold in all the goodness. The crepe was delicious. Service was nice and quick. Looking forward to trying other items next time!
Sweet Mong is a Korean dessert cafe, cutely named as "sweet dreams". The cloud and dim lighting gives a calming vibe 7 days a week until 9:30p. We ordered bingsu to satisfy our dessert craving after a huge AYCE kbbq dinner. Coconut passionfruit bingsu (5/5): Bright and vibrant passionfruit with mellow coconut creates a well balanced pairing. Mango tango bingsu (4/5): For some reason, I felt it was underwhelming compared to the coconut passionfruit. Perhaps if the mango sauce was more reminiscent of fresh tart mango, it would be better? The pop rocks was interesting and unique. I liked Sweet Mong and although I've had better, I think its worth a visit.
How have we missed this sweet & savory spot??? I could eat here all day! The crepes are fresh & packed full of flavor. Absolutely loved their specialty match "Spring Day" with the yummy flavor of tarot and a rich, creamy texture. Coming back to try more goodies on the menu! More than just sweet treats!
What a lovely place! We were a group of 7 people, and we stumbled upon this from Yelp on a random dessert day. We decided to give it a try! We were so impressed with just one server who was handling everything from taking our money to making our crepes, coffee, and bingsu. What was great was that she let us know she was the only one there at the moment, so we waited patiently. We were all very satisfied! Thanks! This is a great spot to hang around after eating all the delicious foods off Spring Mountain Rd. It's quite spacious inside for a grab and go beverage/dessert/crepes spot. Cashier is welcoming and helpful. Huge windows bring in natural bright sunlight. There's plenty of tables and chairs to sit inside or outside. Yes, they do have a small and comfortable private patio area facing the little Korean mini market that's just across the side street. Peach iced tea $5.75 & Iced rose milk tea $5. Not bad for 16oz. & 20oz. cup sizes. There are keys at the front counter for public restrooms if you ask them for it. Very peaceful inside. Great place to chill and share some sweets.
Visiting friends VW in Las Vegas that highly recommended going to Sweet Mong, they drove me and G here to eat the Mango Tango Bingsoo which was absolutely delicious and unique with pop rocks candy. ***Also rather than just plain water ~ Sweet Mong adds milk and condense milk to the water and makes the finely shaved ice from that ~ it should be called "Shaved Milk Ice". We showed up the next day for another round of Mango Tango Bingsoo and tried the Matcha Bingsoo and next time we're in Las Vegas we will be back for more.
My daughter reintroduced me to bingsu dessert. I had one many years ago and had forgotten how tasty it is. When we visited Vegas, we had to try this restaurant which had the highest rating. The yelpers are right again. I have since tried several bingsu places where I live. Sweet Mong is still the best. The bingsu desserts were made with love and care. The presentations were the best I have seen so far. And the cost is a little cheaper than my local restaurants. Sadly, I can only have them when I visit. I guess I will just have to be patient :-) We had the mango and black sesame bingsu desserts. Both were delicious. I will definitely have to try different flavors next time. I can't wait. read more

Holy Lord this place is good. Don't be fooled by the unassuming storefront. Their dessert is mind blowing. It's just shaved ice you say. And yes you'd be right. But I don't know what sorcery this is but its just so damn tasty! Just ice! So tasty. And they add some other stuff like red bean, and black sesame, and some nuts here and there and you're just blown away by the whole thing. If this is mong then I don't wanna be right. read more

The desserts and treats here so good. In terms of Asian palette, nothing is overly sweet which is a compliment. My crew and I each order something different and basically everything was delicious. My favorites were the strawberry tiramisu in a waffle and crepe form. I also really like the Korean hotteok waffle. Side note - they have really good air conditioning in there. So when you come just sit and enjoy your dessert there if it's summer. read more

I love how this place is not as busy as sul & beans, and they had everything we wanted in one. It's a cute little area, that accommodated our family of 4. This place had bingsoo, taiyaki and boba all in one place. And the boba was served as 24 oz cup of the biggest size. Well worth our money, would definitely come here again! read more

Such an adorable little cafe in one of the few parking lots on Spring Mountain that doesn't give me anxiety due to its busyness or lack of spots. Once inside, they had a ton of tables and even a cute little place to take photos. They also have outdoor seating as well. They offer coffee, milk tea, lemonade and fruit tea for drinks and bingsoos, crepes and croffles for food. I got their strawberry hibiscus lemonade which was quite tart but delicious. I also got Korean Churro pancake, which was crispy and fluffy and had the perfect taste with its sweet and savoryness. I will definitely be back to try another drink and a bingsoo as they look delicious when the weather is warmer. read more

Cozy and cute dessert spot tucked way in the corner of a Chinatown plaza! The bingsu and crepes are generous and great for sharing! I appreciated the complexity of the desserts, with different toppings of different textures on our matcha bingsu. Service is very kind and maintain the cafe well as it is very clean. read more

Great place to have a sweet dessert. Bingsoo, croffle, crepes, drinks. They have seating inside. We had dinner nearby and decided to try it. Glad we did. Lots of places with bingsoo do not have a smaller size option. This place has a cup size and the normal bowl size. Thank you for having the smaller size!!! The bowl size is really only if you are sharing. We ordered strawberry Nutella croffle, mango bingsoo and black sesame bingsoo. Everything was great. The pop rocks in the mango bingsoo was a nice touch, the kids loved it. read more

The shaved ice is so so delicious or at least the mango one was! They have pop rocks in there that give it such a unique texture and adds so much fun in each bite. The mango was spread out throughout the ice which is really nice. Wonderful on a hot day! The ambiance was chill with k-pop music playing in the background. Great for sharing if you get the large size. We got the strawberry cheesecake bingsoo and it was very sweet. The ice wasn't as soft as other places but my concern were the toppings. I think for a fruit flavored option it's best to get any type of syrups or sauces on the side and add to your liking. They have a good amount of seating and it did not take very long to make. Theatre walnut cakes were amazing! We ordered them twice, I'd come back here for those but not the frozen dessert. read more

Delicious Korean shaved ice (bingsoo) and crepes! I love the prosciutto truffle crepe, and the bingsoo was delicious and refreshing. They have a cup or bowl size and a cup was plenty for my friend and I! Cute cafe with cloud lamps, but a bit small. Will be back! read more

This place was so good, we came back the next day! After dinner, we seen this place in the same plaza. Took a chance and it did not disappoint! The family joined in and we all got dessert. My husband and shared the black sesame bingsu which came with red bean, granola, and a thin crispy waffle. Wow. Every bite was delicious. Just the right sweetness! Fast forward to the next day, we went back for dessert but this time we tried the mango bingsu. The kids will love this one! It came with fresh mango, mango boba, and pop rocks on top. A burst of flavors in your mouth! Service was great! When busy, you could be waiting in line but it's worth it! Also if you post your IG story and tag them, you may receive a treat! Tables were clean. The staff was inviting. This is probably my favorite place for bingsu in town. We'll be back next time in Vegas! read more
It was our last night in vegas and we were running out of time to get dessert. The staff were so nice to let us order right before they closed and let us stay to enjoy it. The black sesame is soooo good, tastes like real thick creamy black sesame. They had lots of cute displays and a variety of flavors. If we had more time, I'd definitely come back and try more. During our visit to Vegas, Sweet Mong was the only restaurant we visited more than once. My wife and I shared the Black Sesame Bingsoo during our first visit, and the Mango Tango Bingsoo on the second visit. A cup was plenty for us. They were both flavorful but not overly sweet. It was busy both times when we went, Thursday and Saturday after dinner. We waited about 20 min for our orders. They were worth the wait though! It can be difficult to find parking during peak times. Sweet Mong shares a parking lot with five other restaurants. The dining area was clean and the employees were friendly! I look forward to my next visit to Sweet Mong! read more
Came from the hot pot next door and what more better way to get a dessert but to get bingsoo! Sweet Mong was around the corner and we came here to try! If you haven't tried bingsoo I'm sure you're missing out. This spot not only offer bingsoo, they make daily fresh crepes and bubble tea. Let's get to reviewing the mango tango bingsoo. It's huge enough to share, lots of mango and yummy sauce plus popping bubbles . What surprised us was the bingsoo has a mixed in pop rocks which makes it unique among other places. It was a delicious and satisfying bowl in my opinion. They have a variety of bingsoo and I'm sure I'll be back to try more. Come try this place. Lots of parking and also parking on the side street. It's inside this plaza along with nanay gloria and mala hotpot. read more

After eating dinner at Mon Ami Gabi at the Paris Hotel and Casino, I had to look on Yelp for some desserts! Looking in the area, Sweet Mong was one of the first few to populate on the list! It was about 8 minutes away from the Las Vegas Strip. Sweet Mong is currently open from Monday - Sunday from 12:00 P.M - 8:00 P.M. It's located in the Spring Mountain, Chinatown area. Their menu consists of croffles, crepes, red bean dishes, lemonades, lattes, and so much more! I had to try out their Honey Cinnamon Pancake! My husband ended up getting their Bingsu and the Taro Walnut Bites! After placing the order, we were provided with a number. There were several tables in use at Sweet Mong, even though it was a little bit later in the evening on a Wednesday night, around 7:00 P.M! We saw a table for two open near the entrance! It wasn't long before the food started to arrive, less than 10 minutes! Everything was cooked fresh! My favorite was the Honey Cinnamon Pancake! It was perfectly shaped in the cone! It was crispy and cinnamon on the outside and super soft on the inside! It was scrumptious! My husband enjoyed the Bingsu and the Taro Walnut Bites. We ended up getting the Bingsu in a cup! It was such a healthy snack with the red beans! The Taro Walnut bites were yummy! Perfectly fried, and it wasn't too sweet either! The team members at Sweet Mong are amazing! They brought out multiple dishes for us to share some of the desserts! There were also plenty of napkins and utensils provided! Next time I come back to Sweet Mong, I'll have to try out one of their croffles! read more
