I had heard about this place for some time that they had the best corned beef hash I've ever had. Now while not being a huge fan of corned beef hash. I do appreciate a good corned beef hash so I was sort of anxious to try this out. It was a little bit of a drive from my house about 19 minutes, but let me tell you it was absolutely worth the ride. When you open the doors, you definitely get 1970s Grandma vibes from this place. I guess that makes sense since they opened in 1975. 1975. I like it when a place sticks to their theme and doesn't try to modernize with the times. This is definitely one of those places The decor is definitely retro, some of the pictures I recognized from the late '70s and '80s, a couple of display cases with homemade goods up front and a very friendly staff. Greeting you as soon as you walked in. The restaurant itself is very spacious, we got seated immediately and ordered our food. They offer you either toast, pumpkin bread or banana nut bread. We ordered the banana nut bread and oh my gosh, it was absolutely amazing! Just for the banana bread in a cup of coffee and the waitress told me that it is made fresh there everyday. I had the chicken, fried steak and eggs, which comes with potato chips.. slightly larger than potato chips. More like home fries, so make sure you get them extra. Crispy. My eggs were cooked perfectly, and the gravy on the chicken fried steak was amazing. The only thing I didn't like about the chicken fried steak, was it really didn't taste homemade. It felt like one of those ones you would get from Costco. That aside, it was a great breakfast. I did try the corned beef hash as well, and it was some of the best corned beef hash I've ever had in my life. Lots of thick chunks of meat with small diced potatoes and the eggs were cooked perfectly. Their coffee is good as well, not too strong but definitely strong enough to give you a jolt in the morning. Experience, combine that with the friendliness and attitude of the wait staff, this is definitely a place you want to add to your breakfast list. Bottom line? This is definitely a breakfast spot you are going to want to add to your list when people come into town and you want to treat them to something special and different. This place hits on just about all cylinders. Go check it out!
Wow!! Portions are huge here!!! Been craving a waffle and this place did not disappoint. For a small up charge we were able to order just one waffle and split the meal. I got the Philly cheesesteak omelette!!! The omelet came with the grits and a side of bread. The service was amazing and quick!! This is a spot i will definitely recommend to others!!!!can't wait to go back and try other items!!!
Don't let the outside appearance fool you! It may look a little run down or dated, but the hidden gem inside is worth it. The Omelet House has been here since the 1970's and has decor from that decade to prove it. It's eclectic. Unique. Spooky. But charming and welcoming as well. Service is fantastic and the food is amazing. Really. I loved the pumpkin bread (which I almost skipped since it didn't feel like a breakfast item) and the bacon was phenomenal. I can't wait to return the next time I'm in the area.
For an established restaurant throughout the Charleston Blvd corridor it was a pretty cool experience. Not knowing what to expect was the feeling that you get until the adventure begins. You walk through a small myriad of different shops with notable signs guiding you through a nostalgic scene of photos and various pictures until you enter a quaint restaurant that exudes old style decorations and a very comfortable environment. Ordered the Hawaiian omelette and by far the biggest omelette I've had in Vegas. Started with their bananas walnut bread and the cinnamon bread and both delivered warm. Delicious is the final word there. The omelette and the wife's eggs and bacon breakfast were plentiful and great. Staff were very friendly and helpful keeping us happy with their hospitality. Definitely recommend a try here. No disappointment at all.
First time here, upon arrival I was very confused because you walk into a shared business space and have to walk into the building to reach the restaurant. It's a decent sized restaurant but apparently they can get pretty busy and you wait in line to be seated. Service is fairly quick, we were immediately asked our drink order and they have multiple people serving drink refills, so we were never thirsty. Our waitress was friendly and not overbearing (I don't care to be checked on after I've had one bite of my food LOL). Food is delicious, and decently sized for the price. I LOVE the homemade spuds side, it's unique and delicious. Coffee was not good at all though, so a bit disappointed with that
At 47 years old, it's a classic diner but loaded with the visual history of Vegas. Chairs are hard plastic but comfortable and nice sized tables that were clean. Waitress was exceptionally friendly and helpful, especially telling us of the locals entrance for future visits. The meals are massive so bring your appetite- or share. Had the chicken fried steak and eggs which were perfectly prepared. Also the lobster Benedict was delicious. Don't order the #33-1/2 though as the raw liver stinks up the table. Very good coffee and they don't skimp on refills.
Service was great. The place is very small inside and as you are walking to get there you see signs saying "25 min wait from this point" so I imagine it gets very busy. But it's 100% worth the wait. The inside was really cute with a ton of little nicknacks everywhere. The banana bread comes out hot and fresh and is probably the best banana bread I've ever had. The portions are huge. The spuds are awesome! Can't say enough good things about this place. I don't even like breakfast food and I loved this place. Review from July 2025
Omelet God if your hungry go to Omelet house we , Nancy and myself went here for brunch. When you get here it doesn't look like much but go in... If you leave hungry it your fault. I had 2 eggs,spuds and polish, and toast. Nancy had the same with ham. I can eat and I was stuffed. I asked the people next to us if I could take pics of thier omelets one will feed a family of 4. They have signage for 1hr wait down to 15 minutes we timed it well walked right in. The menu is huge,, at least 30 staffers on hand we sat and had water and coffee in less then 1 minute coffee never got below 1/2 cup and someone was filling it for you best service ever. This place is off the beat and path. Find it is well worth it. It was under $40.00. You have to find this place it is worth it. 5 stars I would give more if I could.
Good food, huge portions, good prices and great service. We came at the right time as there was no line. They have signage as if the line does get long, but fortunately we sat right away. Robert was very friendly and attentive. Nothing fancy. Many of us shared a dish as the entrées were humongous. They have such a big menu with tons of omelette and eggs Benedict choices. We also ordered the world famous fried zucchini that comes with cheese sauce. I know it sounds weird, but the cheese sauce is a game changer. The only thing is the zucchinis were really tiny inside the batter. It's like they shrink a little. Came hungry left full. We were celebrating two birthdays and we got a song with banana bread.
Hearty breakfast with generous serving, a local favorite! Before our hike to the Red Rock Canyon Park this morning, we swung by age Omelet House for nice brunch before qn extensive hike. When we saw the amount of locals within the restaurant, we instantly knew we found a wonderful place at tremendous value. Located in a strip mall, this restaurant is about 20-30 minutes from the strip. Parking is ample in front of the restaurant. The restaurant offers traditional breakfast and lunch items with very large serving, and prices are very reasonable. For my breakfast, I ordered the lobster omelet with English muffin. The omelet was huge like a burrito with tons of lobster and avocado inside. There was also a side of baked thin sliced potatoes, which were very tasty and fun to snack on. My husband had the California omelet with banana bread, which looked delicious and the banana bread was home made. Our bill came to $50, and the breakfast could easily be the meal of the day with uts generous portion. Our waiters were attentive, and the ambiance of the restaurant felt down to earth and comfortable. Highly recommend!
First timer at this 47-year-old restaurant. Went with a group of 8, and the server handled our table without a hitch. I was warned about the huge portions, but I still decided to have their Liberty Bell Omelet with just one pancake on the side. The side of pancakes was an entrée size, and the omelet was twice the size I am used to. It was delicious, but the banana bread that came along with my order pushed my limit over the top. A take-home box was needed. The place is in the older part of Las Vegas. The kind of place that is better visited during the day. Lots of parking, clean restrooms, and directional signs throughout the restaurant that guide you to the exit, restrooms, etc. All of which were needed in this maze of a place. As other reviewers have mentioned, the decor is from the early-swap meet era. Definitely a come-as-you-are place. Oh yes, the menu prices are quite reasonable given the portion you get.
Came here with my friends for a little birthday breakfast. This place is amazing!!! If you're looking for a place to have a big party or hang out with your old friends I would recommend this place. Your eyes are going to wonder every where because they have a lot of interesting things to look at an a lot of things hanging. When you're walking down a hall way they even sell some painting. The menu you will be overwhelmed on how much different food that they have. Because I wanted all of them they all sounded good. But I end up eating Philly cheesesteak and there wonderful fries!!!!! I recommended there fries they look like potato chips but they even better!!!!!! Love the texture. The Philly cheesesteak was good too. A little salty for my liking but it was good and I still get it again! Just thinking about this makes me want one again
I had an amazing breakfast here with my husband this morning. I hadn't eaten here in years and decided to stop by after craving some pancakes. My husband ordered the Chilaquiles and I had the Flap special. The prices were good considering the portion of food that you receive. We were helped by Jenny who was an absolute sweetheart. Our breakfast came out quickly and looked delicious. Most importantly the food was hot and prepared exactly as we had ordered.
5/5 - A True Las Vegas Gem! What a great experience at the original Omelet House on Rancho! This place has been a Las Vegas institution since 1979, and it's easy to understand why. Met up with three friends for breakfast, and the service was incredible from start to finish. We all arrived at different times, which can sometimes be an issue, but the staff was extremely accommodating, welcoming, and attentive throughout our visit. I tried to keep things somewhat healthy with an egg white veggie omelet, which was delicious! Of course, I couldn't pass up their famous homemade banana bread, which was fantastic. Their homemade potato spuds, almost like freshly made potato chips, were another highlight. Absolutely delicious! What really makes this place special is the atmosphere. The walls are covered with decades of Las Vegas history, photographs, and memorabilia. It's like stepping back into old Vegas, and I loved taking it all in. I also really appreciated seeing their support and recognition of local first responders and the community. There's something special about a longtime, family-owned Las Vegas restaurant that continues to deliver great food, outstanding hospitality, and so much character. An easy 5 out of 5 stars! I'll definitely be back and highly recommend stopping by for a great breakfast and a little piece of Las Vegas history! read more
Stopped by after a doctor's appointment close by. I've always seen Omelet House when I worked in the area and glad I was able to give them a dry. The entrance is pretty strange in my opinion so make sure you are following the directions and enter through the right door. You'll walk through what seems to be a staged photo op area. The ambiance is relaxing and very homey but the service was a little slow. Food: Cup of Coffee 1 Egg Scrambled 1 Piece of Pancake Side order of bacon - About 4 Pieces The coffee was yummy. Nice and hot. The worker kept coming around and asking to refill which was nice. The egg was cooked to my liking. The bacon was okay too. It wasn't crispy. The pancake was delicious. The flavors were yummy and I added butter and the warm syrup. Overall, this is a great spot and I would love to return again. The worker I came in contact with while exiting was very nice. The Omelette House in Vegas delivers a great experience from start to finish. Service was excellent -- attentive, friendly, and quick throughout the meal. I got my usual classic veggie egg white omelette and it was excellent, along with sausage gravy that was absolutely delicious. What really sets them apart from other diners, though, are their potatoes -- they come out like soft potato chips, somehow crispy and soft at the same time, and incredibly tasty. The chicken vegetable soup was fantastic too, easily one of the highlights. And a fun bonus: they bring out pumpkin bread with your meal, a delicious surprise touch you won't find at other spots. The coffee was great as well, and they keep plenty of French vanilla and hazelnut creamers on hand -- a small touch that makes it my kind of place. Great food, great service, and a nice unexpected treat with the pumpkin bread. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a solid omelette spot in Vegas with some extra personality. read more

Visited 9/7/25 Sunday morning. No lines at around 10 AM but judging from the rope lines around the "mall", it looks sometimes it gets packed. This business is probably feeling the effects of decreased tourism to Vegas, which I hear is getting particularly bad in 2025. I hope this business doesn't suffer too much, since it's been around since the 70's and is also an amazing breakfast place. Atmosphere is 1970's kitsch with old 25 cent gumballs, stained glass, old photos on the wall and vintage figurines. I wish I had more time to enjoy all of the little things that make this place special. They boast the World's Largest Omelet. I ordered half a world's largest veggie cheese omelet and I was able to eat it all except for the potatoes and toast. Felt bad wasting it. It had a lot of cheese in it. Very filling Husband ordered scrambled eggs, bacon and a waffle. Very generous portions. Coffee was pretty good too. Service was quick and efficient. It's not like me to forget the price or list it in my reviews, but I can say it was pretty reasonable for the amount you get. read more
First I want to mention Concepción. She was a great waitress, she was attentive yet, not overly. It felt like a casual breakfast spot in Summerlin. It really was friendly. My omelet, wait, my 8 egg omelet, was so big.... It cover Hal the plate. The other half was filled with fresh Hashbrowns with so much flavor. Cheesy steak, shredded st steak with all the fix'ns topped with creamy cheese. So big I could not finish it. Ah but now I have dinner. Eggs Benedict Lobster that Mark ordered blew him away with flavors of the hollandaise sauce. Better than any he's tasted before! He was able eat all of his because it was so tasty. I had a few bites & I agree, it was the best flavor. Before we left, we decided that we will be going back again. I, we recommend OMELET HOUSE Luck part for us is the Smiths that carries his tea is next door almost. So Mark bought 6 more boxes. read more

My mom and I stopped here for breakfast on the way to Moab. The food was sooo good, especially the spuds, which we've never had anywhere else. Irene was our waitress, old school and super nice! She should get all the praise. Highly recommend this place! read more
I was here for a work trip and a family member took us to Omelet House. WOW! Breakfast was amazing. I got the lobster egg Benedict and it was really good. Love that their breakfast potatoes are crispy but also soft. Will def be back here again! read more
Wow hidden gem!!! What a great place. It's located in a strip mall you enter one way and exit another. They've got it down I was impressed! We had a great server also many people working filling coffee thank you we had a lovely time. I got the 2 eggs with spuds, thinly sliced potatoes, toast and ham steak with coffee. My husband got 2 eggs, toast, spuds and polish sausage. Very large portions be hungry! We also got a piece of banana bread to go we had it for a snack later in the evening. Highly recommend this place if your visiting Vegas I think they have another location as well. read more
Amazing menu. Great decor. Everything we ordered were well worth their value. Huge servings for such reasonable prices. Plus, very friendly and helpful staff. If you go on a weekend be prepared to wait. The restaurant is in a strip mall and when you walk in there are signs telling you how much time you have to wait at each point before getting to the hostess station. This is an iconic Vegas eatery. Lots of history and cool pictures on the walls. I would highly recommend this restaurant. My only complaint were the potato spuds. I prefer home fries or breakfast potatoes. read more
We went here during the week and luckily it wasn't too busy yet. Waitress was telling me there's usually a line out the door. Our waitress was really nice and she explained the menu to us. Telling us there is usually are 45 different omelettes on the menu and telling us what's popular with the locals. I ordered the kitchen sink omelette which is their omelette that has all their meat and vegetables. It was ginormous! Delicious too! My son said those were the best tasting pancakes he's ever had and he's a big fan of the peppermills pancakes which I know are delicious. My daughter had biscuits and gravy and she gave me a taste and they were great! This is a must try for foodies coming to Las Vegas. Two thumbs up from me and my family! read more
Big portions, delicious food and friendly staff. Went in around noon the day before thanksgiving and no line. Interior decor is interesting and kind of old timey. Shared an omelette and chocolate chip pancakes and left pretty full and satisfied! read more

One hi#16 Ortega chili omelette split onto two plates. It does cost $1 more, but I couldn't finish a six egg omelette if I tried. You do get extra potatoes for that $1. This is the best breakfast place in town. read more

Anyone want an eight egg omelet? We'll you'll get it here at Omelet House in Summerlin. Waited a bit, when my husband said to me, "its not even that busy and no one has come by". Next thing we know, a server appears at our table and looked annoyed. Probably heard my husband, but he wasn't lying. Not a smile from the server, just gave us the menu and walked away. Husband had the biscuits and gravy and said the gravy needed more seasoning. I ordered the Rio Grande Surfer (chorizo) with potatoes. It was tasty, but OMG it was greasy as hell!! I guess no one told the cook to drain the oil. I ate probably a quarter of the omelet, because seeing all that grease grossed me out. While it is a cozy place to have breakfast/lunch, not sure if we'll be going back, at least not for a while. That grease will stay on my mind for a long time. read more

Omelet House on Charleston has a cozy and nostalgic atmosphere with vintage Las Vegas memorabilia that gives the place real charm. The restaurant opened in the 70's and you can feel that history in the decor because everything brings a sense of old Vegas comfort. I ordered the BBC (bacon, broccoli, and cheese) omelet. The portion was generous. The service was okay although everything still moved at a steady pace. At the same time the relaxed environment made the visit enjoyable. It is a nice choice for a simple and satisfying breakfast with a touch of local history. Now this is ALWAYS a great first stop when coming to Vegas! There's nothing like 0 wait and a massive omelette after a 4 hour drive. The egg and flavors are always so great! Ambiance is like your grandparents house not only in color scheme but with also the Knick knack shelves filled with Knick knacks. Service was warm and friendly. I had the kitchen sink omelette and it was huge and delicious. Could only make it through a third of it as it was filled with chorizo, beans, sausage, ham, bacon, peppers, mushrooms, onion and cheese. The spuds make great vessels for bites. Hubs had the lobster fest. He loved it and finished the entire thing. We tried a biscuit and gravy. Gravy has a good peppery and sage flavor, biscuit was fluffy. Hubs loves the pumpkin bread. It came hour very hot and he enjoyed the melted butter on top. It was very spicy and had raisins. read more
