On my latest stop here, while Diane opted for an order of cheesy Potato Skins, I had a really filling and also cheesy Tuna Melt on Grilled Sourdough with crispy Brew City Fries and a juicy pickle slice. But first I enjoyed a Bowl of Chicken Noodle Soup filled with tender strips of chicken and thick short noodles. We sat on comfortable faux leather seats in a dining room off the bar that was crowded on a Saturday night, and received very good service. The menu here is expansive; food is well prepared; portions are generous; and prices are fair. XXXX-1/2 overall! read more

Met up with a friend today for lunch and it was rarely busy for a Thursday. We sat to the left and Carlos was our server and he was amazing! Very friendly and helped us wit selecting some items since we couldn't decide. We ended up getting nachos, pork chops, steak sandwich, and a salad and it was all delicious. Overall great vibes and even with smoking and gambling in the same area, there is no distractions at all. Really good idea to come try this place out! read more

Great service from Kristina and amazing food as well. Chicken Fried Steak is my favorite of any I have had. The portion size is crazy. Love this place!!! Had brunch this morning at 9 am. We both ordered Cheyenne's and the eggs were perfectly prepared (over medium), the bacon was delicious and crispy, the hash browns buttery and wonderful, the toast and hot tea were first rate. The music was awesome and the mood in the restaurant was upbeat and patrons were smiling. The BEST part was that our waitress said she missed seeing us and SHE REMEMBERED OUR ORDER! She even remembered where we usually sit and that we took cream in our hot tea. Note to Roger: We love this place... again! read more

When I first saw this place, I thought of how close it is to my new home. I just moved here about 2 months ago and wanted to try this place out. I actually saved this bar as a place I wanted to visit. Well, I went to this bar twice within a couple days and sat down at the bar waiting for about five minutes each time. This is a way for me to gauge the quality of service. I didn't get a greeting from anyone. Not an acknowledgement to order anything. I just sat there and waited but nothing. This happened both times. If this is how customers get treated then it's not a place I want to go. It seems like they're more partial to regulars versus a new customer who might become a regular. read more

I patronize the Steiners on Cheyenne and I love all the staff and they couldn't be more helpful. And the food is outstanding. I had out of town guests who are elderly and I wanted to pick up three corned beef and cabbage dinners to go. It was ready in a heartbeat. It was excellent quality. I have driven by this Steiner's so many times I can't count the times. There are Steiner's places in several places in Las Vegas. They all have gaming (VP at the bar area) and a standard menu with many of the itewmsd having a city/town in Nevada at the beginning of the name of the dish--a Nevada style pub. I stopped in for breakfast after an early appointment. After looking oiver the menu, I chose the Philly omelette which the menu describes as three eggs folded around a filling of tender shaved steak, grilled onions and peppers, and mixed cheeses. The coffee was poured quickly and often. This was one of the few times that I had to stop getting refills. The omelette was good but it needed to be cut with a knife to get through the shaved beef. There are condiments on each table and some cholula was just the ticket. There was a very large amount of hash brown potatoes served with omelette along with toast. The bar doesn't admit underage children so there is smoking in the restaurant. There is no separate non-smoking separated area common in many VP style places. This was a drawback for me. Now that I know how Steiner's works, I can decide if the food is worth smelling smoke. read more

We were there at 8:30 am for breakfast and surprisingly only a few customers. Steiner's has first class food... fair prices... wonderful staff... and nice atmosphere... but again, the music was way too loud. The room only had about 8 other customers who ALL have gray hair ... yet the music they play is the same depressing teenage autotune music they play at Walmart... and it was so loud, I couldn't even hear the wait person. It makes no sense to me. What happened to the 60s and 70s music they have been playing the last couple of years? We loved being uplifted by the Beatles, Supremes, Elton John, Billy Joel, Rod Stewart, Rolling Stones, and other familiar music. read more

We attempted to stop by for Sunday breakfast as we do every Sunday for 20 years and were informed quite curtly that we only have 30 minutes to eat because they were getting ready for the Super Bowl party. This was at NOON. The game doesnt start for 5 hours. You just lost a loyal 20 year customer Steiner's. We won't be back. read more

So here's the thing most people don't think of a pub in Vegas; as a pub usually means it's been there for 100 years or more. Steiner's changed that by calling it a Nevada style pub and although I've been here before the last few times I have been here I have been pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, the service and generally the feel of a local pub. The menu items are plentiful and it pays to ask what the server likes. The last few times I've ordered something different and I've never been disappointed. The pictures below will take you through my choices. Bottom line check them out again and again as they have a deep menu. If you're a sports fan they represent all the sporting events and have giveaways etc while they're going on. (Definitely try the pickle fries they really are the best I've had.) read more

Best bar food in Vegas and 10/10 bartenders. Been going the last two years and have never had a bad experience. Would be 5 stars but machines are sooo tight here since 2025 rolled in. It seems like the whole bar gets unlucky and then about once a month one lucky goer hits for $10k. If you like those odds this is your place, if you want to play a couple of bucks to enjoy your night this is definitely not. If you play enough to get free play the first level is at 500 points or $500 played so also not in favor of someone who doesn't want to drain their bank account for some free play. I went back and forth on posting this review as I would go 3-4 nights a week earlier in the year and have dwindled down but after 6 months of no change within their machines I feel it is fair to be open an honest. read more

This is one of our go to places when we are out and about. Comfortable, reliable, friendly and reasonable. You can get a booth that is far away from the bar. Television screens are all over so you can catch any game you want. The food is classic pub grub and it is always good. They have weekly specials as well. This is definitely a locals' spot but if you are a visitor you'd be welcome. The staff is friendly and efficient. The food comes out promptly. read more

St. Patty's Corned Beef and Cabbage was a big disappointment compared to last year's which was a spectacular meal which was prepared perfectly. This year the cabbage was scant and the corned beef was overcooked and riddled with fat. The potatoes though were under-cooked and so were not very tasty. The ambiance was very crowded and, of course, noisy which I can't really fault them for that as it is a tavern lifestyle restaurant. Anyway, we're not coming back for the next St Patty's day dinner; although another time for some, quieter, and, as a rule, great food. The service was accommodating and we did complain to the Server and to the Manager about the food quality and was offered a different meal which we declined. Booths, tables and high tops make up the seating Food - came in for the fish and chips basket (13.99). Being from New England I'm always on the hunt for good fish and chips. Basket came out with 3 pieces of fish and a ton of fries with a side of coleslaw. Fish was good, not greasy. It was the frozen fish you get here, each piece exactly the same shape. Fries were excellent, and you get a lot of them. I ate about half and left a lot in the plate. Coleslaw was excellent, really tasty and different. Steiner's really is a neighborhood pub! I was there in the weekend and the atmosphere was lively, which I like on the weekend. I wouldn't want it deserted. The menu is huge! Pretty much anything you have a taste for is on the menu! Two personal favorites, the chicken nachos and potato skins. Let me say the chicken nachos are not your typical nachos, messy and cheese only on the top half. Here they make them so each individual chip has the perfect amount of items. Love them and they are much neater to eat! I've been here several times and even ordered pick up and the service is typically attentive and friendly. This last weekend it was really nice because the manager was making their rounds to the tables to make sure everything was going smoothly. Thanks! read more

Had a great meal for 6 of us at Steiner's on Cheyenne on August 27th. Our server was Dalton and he remembered how I like my onions to be caramelized from when we were here a month ago in early August for my sister-in-law's birthday. Everyone enjoyed their food, as usual. Even more amazing was that my sister-in-law lost a silver necklace that time and the hostess remembered us and asked if someone had lost a silver necklace. They have about 15-20 of their own brews. We got a flight (four 5oz pours) to try a good variety. My favorite was the Annulment Ale, the others I tried were meh. The food is where LVBC shines. Typical American food, with a focus on smash burgers. I tried the Smashy Burger. Price is great, only $12 for the burger and house chips. Food took a while to come out for the place not being busy. However, the burger was excellent. Overall, I was disappointed in the vibes and atmosphere compared to other breweries. The beers we tried were just okay, but the burger was really good, which has me torn on this review. Thus, 3 stars seems appropriate.

Everything is decorated so cute as well. We sat at 2 machines, got cards, and your first 20 points you get $20 freeplay so that's a bonus. The machines we are on are keeping us on our toes. The menu is a decent size we ordered the pulled pork sandwich & the French Toast & both were BOMB. The flavor on the pork was amazing and the sweet roll French toast was just sweet enough. I am an active player sometimes I win, break even or lose however as of recently I've had issues getting my food and drink comped I almost always order from the player menu and many times I have to remind the bartender to take the discount off the bill. Today was the worst example of this I had 3 drinks within the space of 40 minutes or so with active play I just so happened to break even in this time and I had a meal from the players menu. The bartender Juan while friendly and attentive gave me a bill with no drinks comped and full price on the players menu when I asked him about this and tried to get the drinks taken off he told me it worked like every other bar that I had to play $1 or more a hand and lose $20 per drink but I broke even so they aren't comped. Well that's not how any other bar works in all my time playing at various bars including this one my drinks have been comped whether I win or lose and I've always played 1.25 a hand or more so this was perplexing that not a single drink I ordered was covered after almost an hour of continuous play. I eventually got him to at least give me the players discount but still paid for every single drink. Perhaps I had too many drinks within the time frame but I should have at least had one of them comped I've never run into a bar that doesn't comp drinks for play it's just so standard but if this is the new policy of the Tavern I will find someplace else to gamble. Getting drinks comped is the bare minimum of a gaming bar if their policy has changed it is no longer worth it to visit and I would recommend any of the many competitors to this bar just for this factor alone. I'm assuming it is the bartenders discretion in which case I've never had an issue with Ted this is my first time seeing the other bartender Juan I will not be returning when he is there.

No sparkling water, only tap, soft drinks and spirits. World Cup was on the many tv's, other patrons were having a good time watching the games. Good spot for big groups looking for informal setting.

The menus for all the locations in both Northern and Southern Nevada are posted online. This location was easy to find, Vegas is so easy to get around, everything is all laid out on a grid, with big throughfares every one mile. We just got on Trop as the locals call it, till we got to Decater and go a little bit and there we are. The place is open 24 hrs. like a lot of things in Vegas. Parking is easy and we go right in. Looking at the menu, I see prices are higher by a few bucks per item and I see more upscale items on the menu that we don't have in the north, like crab cakes! I saw the fish and chips, so that's what we got. I really don't care for coleslaw in general, so I got mine with double fries instead and my friend likes coleslaw and is cutting carbs, so she got double coleslaw and no fries. The order comes with 4 nice pieces of crispy deep fried fish, along with malt vinegar of course. The fish was super hot and tasty seasoned at the table with salt and malt vinegar. I was taught that was the British way to do fish and chips, tarter and catsup is the American way! If I'm down here in Vegas again, I'll have to give some of these more upscale items a try, unless Flowing Tide decides to bring them to Reno locations.

The menu is his creative brainchild and changes a few times a year, with the current one based on the movie Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. There's a 90 minute limit and 2 drink minimum per guest. Because of the craft and attention to detail that goes into each cocktail, we finished our 2 drinks just about right at the 90 minute mark. I really enjoyed both of my cocktails but the one that stood out to me the most was Strange Medicine. It was reminiscent of a martini but with Brie-washed Old Bison vodka, Cocchi Americano, and herb oil. It was so good that I wasn't sure what drink to choose next, but Davey was helpful with a great recommendation for another cocktail served with a chunk of parmesan cheese on top. Keep in mind that you're paying for the experience and the level of craft. So with a 2 drink minimum it won't be a cheap experience but it's definitely something worth checking out for the unique, creative cocktails.

We came on a Thursday at 6 PM and apparently the entire city had the same idea. Even with a reservation we waited about 20 minutes, and I overheard multiple walk-ins getting quoted 60-90 minutes. Make the reservation lol. First, the cocktails. I'm admittedly a cocktail snob and not easy to wow, but the strawberry gin cocktail and the passion fruit gin cocktail were both 10/10. My husband is currently busy trying to reverse engineer the recipes that's how much we loved them! The garlic bread was exactly what garlic bread should be: thin, buttery, garlicky, and dangerously easy to inhale. I had the carbonara and I truly couldn't ask for a better version at this price point. Rich, well done, no notes. And shoutout to Marla, who was absolutely hustling through the controlled chaos and still took great care of us.

We split the porterhouse and tomahawk along with Brussels sprouts and creamed corn. Everything was delicious and cooked perfectly. The steaks had a decent amount of fat but that comes with certain cuts and is to be expected. Our server was very kind, joked around with us throughout the night, and made the whole experience that much better. Split four ways with a bottle of wine, it came out to about $90 per person. For the price and what you get it is definitely worth a visit. There are better steak places in the area, and certainly worse ones, but Oscar's holds its own and I would recommend it.
