Met up with a friend today for lunch and it was rarely busy for a Thursday. We sat to the left and Carlos was our server and he was amazing! Very friendly and helped us wit selecting some items since we couldn't decide. We ended up getting nachos, pork chops, steak sandwich, and a salad and it was all delicious. Overall great vibes and even with smoking and gambling in the same area, there is no distractions at all. Really good idea to come try this place out!

Food not so good but the bartenders are efficient and friendly. Too loud to hear anyone or even the music.

Waitress was super attentive and helpful the whole time. It was insanely hot that day, mid-July in Vegas doesn't mess around, so having a nice, large air-conditioned space to duck into was exactly what the day called for. This is a proper local craft brewery and taproom restaurant, with family roots going back four generations in the city, and they lean into that local identity with a solid house beer lineup alongside the usual bar standards. Wasn't too busy, which was great, meant we actually had good seats for the game. Ok options for slot machines too, this being Vegas and all. I had the fish and chips and it was good, though every place really skimps out on the sauces lately, unless that's just me being picky about my dipping ratios. Nice selection of local drinks overall. They had me try one of their more out-there brews, some kind of skunk-named one, and it genuinely smelled like Cheech and Chong's basement. Points for the experience, even if I stuck to my regular pour after that.

They have a great happy hour with plenty of good options. The deep-fried PB&J was definitely the standout--so fun, indulgent, and absolutely delicious! Instead, I received a single piece of grilled chicken by itself, sweet potato fries, and dipping sauces. There was no BLT whatsoever -- no bread, no bacon, no lettuce, and no tomato. The grilled chicken was supposed to be added to the BLT, not replace the entire sandwich. The receipt clearly shows "1x BLT" and my note saying "Add grilled chicken please," so I'm not sure how the main item was completely left out. I paid $26.48 total for this order and essentially received a piece of chicken, fries, and a drink. I have photos of exactly what was delivered as well as the receipt. Really frustrating, especially for a late-night order when there aren't many options to replace a missing meal.

Looking at the menu I was already thinking of having more than fries: we ordered the potato cakes: deliciously perfect, could've had more, to be sure. I love soups so had to have the potato and leek one: I honestly wish I'd asked for the bowl! Service was fine, drinks were served and we didn't have to wait to order a second round of beers. I didn't taste the salmon as it did have some spice and my chile allergy is severe, but I can confirm the plate was clean when taken away. The pub is chill and there's no rushing to eat and leave, and food is available until midnight while the pub closes later on. The Rí Rá is located at The Shoppes at Mandalay Bay Palace. We'll definitely be back again!

Located inside Mandalay Bay, Ri Ra has all the aura and atmosphere you'd expect from an Irish pub - warm inviting decor, great music, friendly vibes all around. Service was also fantastic, never waited long for anything and always friendly and professional. Guinness was exactly how it should be - great temperature, proper glass, super fresh & chocolatey. So how did we get to 3 stars? Sadly, it was the food. Again, it wasn't awful but I've had way better. Scotch eggs app was disappointing. Part of it is my fault - I knew going in that theirs was a "deviled" version, meaning the normally creamy runny yolk was replaced with a mousse like you'd find in a traditional deviled egg. Not bad, but not what I was expecting. Fish and chips sort of the same thing - I've just had much better elsewhere, breading left something to be desired and I'm not a fan of those coated fries which I guess is on me. Mushy peas however were tasteless & abysmal. Would I go back? For drinks certainly, and I might even give some bar snacks a chance. But when it comes to a full meal it's just not for me. Maybe if you haven't done other Irish pubs you'll love it.

I came dressed in a casual skeleton jumpsuit, which was kind of a last minute costume for me. Getting there and finding it was super easy. I parked in the casino parking garage, which had plenty of spaces, and walked right over, which was just a short walk away. The weather that evening was perfect to sit outside on their patio, watch a little bit of game 6 of the World Series, and watch other people go by all dressed up in their own costumes. It was not too hot, not too cold, and not windy at all, though it started getting a little chilly as the night progressed. Our waiter was Batman (actually Jorge dressed as Batman lol), who made a pretty impressive Batman impersonation. The Cali Squeeze Blood Orange Hefe, Jack Daniel's, among other alcoholic drinks made appearances. Not to mention the various Jell-O syringe shots someone in our group bought along with her, and yes, she was dressed up as a nurse. ;D Food appearances were pub pretzels and pork sliders with fries on the side. Jorge (aka Batman) told us that we were given the last pork slider dishes available, as they ran out. We initially thought that he was joking, but he was not. The pretzels were great to snack on while I drank my beer, in the case I was going to drink more later that night. I did drive here, so I had to really pace myself with my drinks. This was a great place to grab some food and drinks before going out for the rest of the night. It's also a great place to watch any game that's on.

Pro: Fear and Loathing menu, updated furniture, yummy drinks…read more Con: Not the previous Laundry Room you remembered, glorified tourist trap, lack of atmosphere control. Slow drink service. The Laundry Room is dead, long live the Laundry Room. The remodel that took place during Jan to May 2026 saw a wide amount of change from Corner Management, the mother company of LR. They got rid of the absolute corner stone of the lead bartender, Anthony, and redecorated the place to look more like the sister bar, Doberman Drawing Room (5 Stars). The remodel was absolutely needed, as the regulars and Dean's List could point out, the place was kind of falling apart. From water warped bar top, uncomfortable chairs, and chipped paint/worned carpet, you would think this place WAS left over from the Prohibition era. What sets this establishment apart from any of the pretend speakeasy on the strip is the atmosphere. At any given time, you could cram 16 people there at a time, even with the reduced drinking time cut from 2 hours to 90 minutes, this place could only cycle thru 50 to 60 people from the reduced nightly opening of 4 hours from 6 hours previously. This make LR special, not some faux speakeasy in Cosmo or Resort World that could jam in 80 people per hour with room to spare. Gone is the rugged identity of the old laundry room for El Cortez, this is spiced up, every square inch of the wall is covered with some art piece, very much different from the Depression era decor. Some art selection are just straight up chaos from the management, the main cherub piece behind the bar is just insanity. The new master of house, Davey, showed skills with his new 14 drink menu, but fell short of what made LR great in the past 14 years. Now, the man had just two months to create his drink list and per himself, had to start from the scratch from when he took over.. So, with that said, let's focus on the drinks. Hemingway Dalguiri, Dust + Ether, and High Noon Static - all great in taste, presentation, and talent, abet we can see the hesitation when making his own drinks, thus slowing down service by quite a bit. My party saw him struggle making 6 drinks at once, 4 of them the same drinks. Recommendation from someone else, maybe record the drink making process and try to eliminate non productive habits and motions via video viewing. Since Davey is a visionary, looking in the past is a deal breaker for him. If you are trying to finish up a previous menu for the Dean's List, the joke is on you, that is a no. Where the hostess (the only person that survived the purge from the remodel) explained to him that exception needs to happen to keep the Dean's List going, the answer was a no since no one at management told him about this. When asked about what will the new requirements will be for the future, it's simple, finish the menu before it's replaced with no chance of catching up. Once a menu is done, it's done. I guess it's easier to keep the drinks under control with less ingrediencies needed behind the bar, but wait a minute... drink number 15, Research and Development, that should give Davey some leeway to non menu drinks right? Turns out, not so much. Sidecar- cognac, orange liqueur, lemon juice. Simple right? He leaves the room to get something from Commonwealth... didn't management installed a new fridge to hold the larger ice cubes, where previous bar keep have to venture out all the time? Turns out, there was no Cognac or any Brandy in the Laundry Room. I can see how things are shaped, strict bottle control is for the benefit of the bar, not for the customer. There is now Vodka, foam, and milk wash but lost Cognac or Brandy, but besides the freedom of choices were also compounded with complete lack of rules. For the last 14 years, the hostess and bar staff on rotation were friendly yet firm about house rules. First given upon entering the secret or window doors, then by the bartender after an aperitif is given (now eliminated). No photo, religion, politic, standing at the bar, name dropping, brawling, telephone calls, PDA, and smoking, plus don't be creepy, be patient, and know your limit. Most of these were not enforced the first 2 times my party of regulars have visited since the remodel. The cardinal sin of allowing one single 4 top to seat 2 people at a time is just wild. But hey, no rules are listed on the new simple menu and none giving at the door or at the seats. So what is this place now? 20 to 23 dollars for a drink plus more for popcorn. All for the experience of being in a noise warfare between Commonwealth and La Mona Rosa's speaker systems, with LR's own music turned up high, and the piano only used one night of the week. I would recommend Doberman Drawing Room as of now for better drinks options, less noise, and vibe. The new menu to replace Fear and Laundry will come out this Fall, will be bring some regulars with me to check on LR again and hopefully give more than 2 stars on the next review.
