I hadn't been here in quite a few years and my last experience was nothing to write home about. A friend suggested it for dinner and I thought I would just go along since it was a group of 6 of us. This place is......not good. I'm honestly blown away by some of the reviews. The food, the service, the vibe - it was all lacking. I eat at a lot of steakhouses, so I may have higher expectations than the average diner. Service: - Our server was very friendly, but forgot about us the entire back half of our meal (we even skipped ordering dessert because we were completely forgotten about and sat there for so long after finishing dinner). - He was not well versed in handling wine (which IMO in unacceptable for an "award winning steakhouse"). He handled the wine glasses by the bowl instead of the stem and poured extremely large servings, about 4 oversized glasses from a single bottle. Food: - The steak tartare was very thick, large chunks instead of a classic fine mince. It was served with tasteless bread that had heavy black grill marks on it. Would never order again. - The calamari and brussels were both tasty and fine. - My NY strip was so full of tendons that I couldn't even chew through it some of it. I can't remember the last time I actually left a piece of steak on my plate from a dinner. - We were ordered a flight of steak sauces and they were spread all over the table with no explanation of what was what. - As for sides, we ordered mash, mac and cheese, broccolini and cauliflower....all very average. Vibe: - completely lacked ambiance. The lighting was bright, there was no background music, and it felt more like a casual neighborhood diner than a place you'd expect to enjoy a nice steak dinner. We always have such a great experience at Echo & Rig in Tivoli Village! My dad loves celebrating his birthday here, so it has become one of those places we enjoy coming back to for special occasions. The atmosphere is always beautiful and lively without taking away from the dining experience, and the service has consistently been great. My dad ordered his favorite, the filet mignon, and he absolutely loved it as always. My mom had a ribeye steak, and the kids kept it simple with burgers and fries, which they enjoyed. For appetizers, we ordered two crab cakes, calamari, and the lamb cigars. The crab cakes were really good, and everything was great for sharing with the table. We also ordered mashed potatoes and mac and cheese as sides. I went with the Caesar salad, and it was delicious! Personally, I would have loved just a tiny bit more dressing, but it was still fresh, flavorful, and something I would definitely order again. One thing we really appreciate when dining out as a family is having a Spanish-speaking server, since that's how my parents feel most comfortable ordering and asking questions. We always request one when we come here. Unfortunately, that request wasn't able to be accommodated this time, but our server was still incredibly kind, patient, and attentive throughout the entire meal. I wish I could remember her name! This was a spur of the moment choice to try a steakhouse in Vegas. This one came up and with it also being a butcher we thought we would get some excellent cuts of meat. We weren't disappointed. We started off with the calamari and both really enjoyed the aïoli sauce that it came with. It was lightly breaded and fried to perfection. My partner tried the pineapple express mocktail and it tasted like summer nights. I had the ribeye with the mushroom sauce and my partner had the Spencer, which is basically the ribeye without the cap and she had bearnaise sauce. All of the steaks come with both some garlic potato chips and a mushroom m Rockefeller, which is a vegetarian version of an oyster Rockefeller. The chips were are fine. I was hoping for them to be a little bit more garlicky. They just tasted like potato chips so no actual complaint and the mushroom Rockefeller was interesting. I don't know if it's something I would order regularly, but I definitely wasn't upset to have it on my plate. Wheelchair accessibility: there was valet parking right in front of the restaurant which we did not utilize. We instead used the nearby parking garage. There was not as many accessible spots as you would expect we had to really search for one. There's an elevator that'll take you up into a building and then the accessible path of travel to get where we needed to go actually went through another restaurant seating area that was outside, which was a little bit difficult to navigate. Other than that, the restaurant itself was fairly accessible the bathrooms on the second floor as was the eating area, but there was an elevator that was easily available. The best steak in Las Vegas. If you want a nice romantic spot for a date, I highly recommend this place. My gf surprised me with a birthday dinner here and it was fantastic. We got the tomahawk steak and it was incredible. They show you some pieces from their butcher beforehand and you get to choose which you want. Went for a ladies night out for good food and we found it. We shared 2 steaks which were both cooked perfectly, and it was enough for us to share. I will be returning for the tomahawk, portobello mushrooms and the fried kale salad. It was recommended by the waiter, and it did not disappoint. Con's : The bread when we sat down was hard and tasteless As nice as our waiter was, he was busing too many tables and did not come around to check up on us. The cauliflower was good. Nice mix of sweet and spicy. Fried spinach salad is one of my faves! Melts in your mouth and I'm not even a big salad person. And then we tried the shrimp and artichokes. Came for an early dinner at 4:45pm pn Mother's Day. We had a party of 11 and waited maybe 10mins for our table. We have an elderly family member with our party so the elevator was a must for her. The dining room is upstairs only with a small bar on the first foor. The restaurant is located in front of the fountain and near PKWY tavern. There is plenty of parking, especially underground. Which you can get lost in if you don't remember which elevator you came up from. Our waiter was Juan Carlos, I believe. He was good a waiter and a nice guy. The restaurant felt a little too warm that day not sure if the oven and kitchen just took over the air conditioning but it got very warm in there. My husband and I ordered the hanger steak and ribeye cap. My hanger steak seemed more tender and soft compared to his ribeye cap. Or source, we ordered the protebello mushroom fries (which are a must) and calamari. I also ordered a lemo drop martini which was good as it was a little heavy on the vodka side. Oh first let me say I'm sorry I thought I already posted a review on echo and rig , but somehow it got deleted. I want to give a big shout out to Darren and Jose. Upon arriving, the hostesses were very courteous as I was waiting for my daughter to park the car. They offered me a seat to wait for her as they can see I was disabled upon going upstairs. Once my daughter arrive and being sat we were looking at the menu deciphering what we were gonna have. Jose came over and offered water. He was very kind and throughout the night we watched him working so hard throughout the room, he never stopped with a smile on his face at all times he was pretty blessing, tables, refilling water, and assisting in any way he could what an outstanding team member he is and I hope that the management recognizes that. Our server Darren was extremely knowledgeable and extremely aware of his surroundings. I was absolutely impressed on how he was waiting on another table engaging with these two gentlemen as a woman walked by and he moved his arm backwards and pulled out her chair for her at the table behind him without breaking a beat engaging with the other people, I've never seen a server pull out a chair for a woman which was very impressive. Also, the way he carries drinks on the tips of his fingers. Oh my goodness it was a dinner and a show. And again I hope management understands. what a great server they have with him as he was very informed of very kind, very patient didn't make us feel like we were being rushed just amazing all around. I normally dine at The District and when asked where in Summerlin would be good to host a work dinner, I suggested Echo & Rig since it was near Lincoln Gustafson...who I'd be dining with. I was not prepared. Having never been to Tivoli Village previously, it took me a while to sort out parking & figuring out the Village itself. Once I found my destination...WHOA!...this place is H U G E and gorgeous and what stood out more than anything? There was too much open space in comparison to the number of actual tables. Why aren't they maximizing this beautiful, 2-story structure to their advantage? While gorgeous, I was extremely put off by the stairs (2 flights) I was asked to use to get to my table ...that was by the kitchen...on the 2nd floor. Being less than 12 months post-op from a lumbar fusion, my annoyance was justified. Ambulating stairs is not easy fun under normal circumstances, and certainly not easier when recovering from back surgery. No elevator offered or mentioned. No explanation as to WHY only the bar was on the ground floor tucked in a corner - in a well sized building like this restaurant is in. This made absolutely no sense to me. Bathrooms, kitchen...all upstairs. The acoustics- again, deaf in 1 ear - were better compared to The District but not by much. That aside...I ordered my usual: medium filet, garlic mash & mac & cheese. I frequent The District and I was curious to see if prior reviews of both locations were correct, and they are: same menu, same food - both entirely amazing but noticeably different. Including the service. Still shocked we received a bread basket...ya don't get that in Henderson. Our server made serious recommendations & offered samples of some appetizers...something never experienced from the bartenders at The District (I only sit at the bar when I visit). These recommendations were a nice touch and very much appreciated. I honestly felt like I was at an entirely different restaurant that just happened to share the name of one of my favorite Henderson hang outs. Upscale. Amazing food & service. Everything eluded to in the name & decor...and unlike anything experienced in Henderson. So much so I told my friends I would happily make the 45-60 minute drive across town instead of return to The District for the same meal...by myself! Night & day difference that, IMHO, is worth the effort to driving from Anthem to Summerlin & battling both construction & psychotic drivers on the freeway. My only complaint? Offer Coke products. The menu has been pretty consistent since we've been coming, the food offerings are the same and always delicious! The hot dog is an elevated version and is amazing! I took a bit of my nieces French toast which was so thick and tasty. How they get that cooked without being soggy is beyond me. My sister-in-law had steak frites which she enjoyed. My son got the Cuban sandwich. They warned him there were a lot of pickles on it and they were not lying. The pickles thankfully are tasty so it was a good thing. The homemade chips were great with it. I had the Short Rib Hash and I can see why it's one of their most popular items. It was amazing. For a drink, I ordered the seasonal sangria which was an apple sangria. I've never had an apple sangria and it exceeded my expectations. For my entrée, I ordered the Montecristo sandwich. On a night when I just wanted a snack to share, we stopped in at Echo and Rig and for the first time, elected to sit at the bar which is right inside the front entrance. College sports was on and I had a good view of the TV at my bar seat. The bar area not only has seats at the bar itself, but a table or two within the same area. The bartenders are very nice and friendly. They take good care of you from start to finish. We tried their Espresso Martini which was pretty good! Next we shared a burger which is the reason it was already cut in half. I hadn't tried their burger before and was conflicted if I would order medium - as other steakhouses a medium could come out quite rare still. After speaking with the bartender in gauging how their medium would be, we opted for medium well to get the pink, but not the bloody red. After getting the burger, I would say one half was a good pink but the other half was more medium well for sure which made it more dry. For sure, I would order the burger at medium next time. This was my third visit to Echo & Ring, and I'm happy to say the quality of the food and the consistency of the service have both remained excellent. Given the upscale location and the valet-parked cars out front, you might expect a stuffy, high-end steakhouse. It's not. While it's certainly a white-tablecloth establishment, it's refreshingly approachable. You can get a fantastic 8oz filet for around $50 -- a genuine bargain compared to many other steakhouses in town. The service is genuinely friendly, and they never let your water glass go empty. One of the best features is the fantastic patio that overlooks the main entrance, giving you a perfect view of the beautiful Tivoli Village fountain and its lighting display. The only minor downside is that an occasional loud car driving by can disrupt the ambiance. They always start you off with drinks and warm bread served with whipped butter. If you order a salad to share, they'll thoughtfully plate it for two. All steaks come with chips, but there are plenty of excellent sides to choose from as well. This time, I ordered the filet again -- perfectly cooked medium-rare (is there any other way?) -- and my wife had the salmon. Both were delicious. The salmon had that wonderful wood-plank flavor you can really taste. For sides, we went with the mashed potatoes and the broccolini, both of which were divine. We ordered a Crab Benedict, one crab cake, thick cut bacon, portobello fries, lemon ricotta pancakes and regular fries. It was all pretty good although it took a while to get everything. Not the type of attentive service you'd expect from a steakhouse that proudly posts their high ratings as Vegas's best. 2 out of 4 dishes also came out cold. Womp womp. Our guests were underwhelmed and we while we were happy to finally eat something, it was clear to me that this was not a place our guests would ask to return to the next time they're visiting. We made a reservation for five people, and our server, Philip, took great care of us throughout the entire evening. We started with appetizers--two orders of calamari and the portobello fries. The portobello fries were so good that we ended up ordering another round! For our main course, we shared a large tomahawk steak, along with mac and cheese and a Caesar salad. Everything was delicious and well-prepared. To top it all off, they surprised me with a complimentary caramel toffee ice cream dessert with a lighted candle for my birthday. We went for lunch to celebrate my husband's 66th year birthday on July 17th. We have been living here for 31 years and dine out often. My husband loves fine dining. Echo & Rig is fabulous. The food is incredible and service is superb. Our waiter was excellent. I can't remember his name but he's only been with them 9 months. I'm not too found of the ambience. We chose Echo and Rig for our anniversary dinner, and it was absolutely the perfect choice! From the moment we walked in, we felt special--the staff welcomed us warmly. Our server was phenomenal--knowledgeable, attentive, and made great recommendations, ensuring our drinks were never empty without ever feeling rushed. We started with the fire roasted cauliflower. It was amazing and which was flavorful and perfectly portioned. I had the swordfish and my partner had the ribeye steak, both cooked precisely to the requested temperature and packed with flavor. The sides, particularly the mashed potatoes were decadent. Even though we were stuffed, they surprised us with an amazing, complimentary pecan caramel dessert, making for a truly memorable end to a fantastic night. I really wanted to like Echo & Rig because it's local, convenient, and has so much potential. The restaurant makes a great first impression with its beautiful butcher shop display and impressive selection of dry-aged beef. Unfortunately, after several visits, I felt compelled to share my honest experience. The first area that needs improvement is the greeting and reception downstairs before you're seated. On more than one occasion, we felt the staff lacked warmth and enthusiasm. First impressions matter, and guests should feel welcomed, not as though they're inconveniencing the staff. With better coaching and customer service training, I believe this could be easily improved. We visited several times for brunch, and unfortunately the experience was consistently disappointing. The breakfast plates arrived lukewarm, the eggs were not prepared particularly well, and the meals simply weren't very appetizing. Breakfast is one of the simplest meals to execute well, and serving hot food on properly heated plates would make a significant difference. The service also left room for improvement. While the staff was polite, we never felt the level of attentiveness or hospitality that you would expect from a restaurant with Echo & Rig's reputation. We also returned for dinner, hoping for a better experience. One thing that really puzzled us was the separate steak menus. The standard steak menu felt underwhelming, while the premium menu was priced well above what I would expect, even compared to several outstanding high-end steakhouses in Las Vegas. If you're promoting yourself as a premier steakhouse, I believe the menu should reflect one consistently high standard rather than separating the experience into different tiers. Our dinner service was also quite slow, and our server came across as somewhat sarcastic at times, which made the experience less enjoyable. I offer these comments as constructive feedback because I genuinely want this restaurant to succeed. Echo & Rig has an excellent location, a beautiful concept, and tremendous potential. I believe management should continue investing in staff coaching, customer service, kitchen consistency, and simplifying the dining experience so guests receive the same high-quality experience every time. Went last night after many recommendations. Absolutely disgusting 10oz. piece of fat they fed me that they call in New York strip. Was making me nauseous. I told the waiter. He asked me if I wanted another one.... As if I could eat another piece of garbage like that. I wasn't going to get anything, but on the assistance of my girlfriend, I found another item which was the branzino, which was edible, so that's good. I did not want to try anything off this menu after an experience like that but I was trying to be a good Sport. After so many people, raving about this place as the best steakhouse in Vegas. I gotta tell you. This was absolutely disappointing and a complete waste. I could never recommend this to anyone. Go elsewhere. I have to imagine all the hype is based on word of mouth for some earlier standards that they had that don't exist anymore. Pros: good service read more

My friends haven't been here and it's been over 7 years since I've visited. I decided to celebrate my birthday dinner with my friends here and it was a ln excellent choice. Our server Lucas was great, he was knowledgeable, had a lot of personality and attentive. Out of all we ordered, the Brussels sprouts take the top of the list. The steak was perfectly made, the branzino was tasty especially when you add the sauce on the side. Everything else was good but I really want you guys to try the Brussels sprouts I covered two orders of that and be good along with my good company. read more

I have been coming here for years. Surprised I haven't left a review, but here it goes. Very few places provide consistently great service and have great quality food. Their patio dinning is the best option. It's a nice view and much quieter than inside. I will say when dining inside it can get very loud. The waiters are on top of it. My glass is never empty and they really go above and beyond. Their steaks are always great. I have been here for dinner, but love coming for brunch. Prices are reasonable and I keep coming back because I know I'll always get great service and food. read more
