Hanger steak
Danielle S.

Came for an early dinner at 4:45pm pn Mother's Day. We had a party of 11 and waited maybe 10mins for our table. We have an elderly family member with our party so the elevator was a must for her. The dining room is upstairs only with a small bar on the first foor. The restaurant is located in front of the fountain and near PKWY tavern. There is plenty of parking, especially underground. Which you can get lost in if you don't remember which elevator you came up from. Our waiter was Juan Carlos, I believe. He was good a waiter and a nice guy. The restaurant felt a little too warm that day not sure if the oven and kitchen just took over the air conditioning but it got very warm in there. My husband and I ordered the hanger steak and ribeye cap. My hanger steak seemed more tender and soft compared to his ribeye cap. Or source, we ordered the protebello mushroom fries (which are a must) and calamari. I also ordered a lemo drop martini which was good as it was a little heavy on the vodka side. Overall this restaurant is a good place for steaks but remember they always seem to cook it on the medium rare side, so for well done or more cooked steaks send it back to the grill for longer cooking.

Oh first let me say I'm sorry I thought I already posted a review on echo and rig , but somehow it got deleted. I want to give a big shout out to Darren and Jose. Upon arriving, the hostesses were very courteous as I was waiting for my daughter to park the car. They offered me a seat to wait for her as they can see I was disabled upon going upstairs. Once my daughter arrive and being sat we were looking at the menu deciphering what we were gonna have. Jose came over and offered water. He was very kind and throughout the night we watched him working so hard throughout the room, he never stopped with a smile on his face at all times he was pretty blessing, tables, refilling water, and assisting in any way he could what an outstanding team member he is and I hope that the management recognizes that. Our server Darren was extremely knowledgeable and extremely aware of his surroundings. I was absolutely impressed on how he was waiting on another table engaging with these two gentlemen as a woman walked by and he moved his arm backwards and pulled out her chair for her at the table behind him without breaking a beat engaging with the other people, I've never seen a server pull out a chair for a woman which was very impressive. Also, the way he carries drinks on the tips of his fingers. Oh my goodness it was a dinner and a show. And again I hope management understands. what a great server they have with him as he was very informed of very kind, very patient didn't make us feel like we were being rushed just amazing all around. We did speak to a manager there and let her know as well. The food was amazing. I had a steak salad and the artichoke and shrimp. My daughter had some vegan options but all around everything was perfect. Great job guys.

Had lunch here and it did not disappoint. Service was good and so was the great! I always go for the burger and their burger was great! Got to try the steak and it's good as well. A few more and some crème brûlée. Very good! This location is nice! First floor, hostess desk and the bar then dining area upstairs. Really spacious.

Came in on a busy Saturday night and there was no wait to be seated, which was a nice start. The restaurant itself was clean and had a good atmosphere. Our server was friendly throughout the meal, and the busser did a great job constantly refilling drinks and clearing plates. Pros: * Oysters were fresh and probably the highlight of the meal. * Lamb porterhouse had very good seasoning. * Service staff was polite and attentive once things got going. Cons: * Service timing was pretty slow. After being seated, it took a while before the server came to welcome (No drink order taken at this point either and another 10+ minutes before our server returned to take the order. * Steak tartare was overly salty, and the bread served with it was soft and thick instead of crisp. * Bone marrow was underwhelming and heavily overpowered by the carne asada/onion mixture. Also disappointing that the dish was pictured with two bones but only came with one. * Shrimp cocktail was fine, but nothing memorable. * Swordfish had decent flavor but was slightly overcooked. * Lamb, ribeye, and hanger steak were all overcooked as well. The hanger steak especially was overcharred. * Chimichurri served with the ribeye tasted mostly like olive oil with very little herbs in it even after requesting more. Overall, the biggest issue was the food execution. For a restaurant centered around steaks, too many dishes came out overcooked or underwhelming. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was solid, but unfortunately the food just didn't justify a return visit for us.

Salmon Benedict

Came here for a birthday brunch. What I thought was great was instead of unlimited mimosas - its just $20 for a bottle with pineapple, orange and white peach juice that you make. This is great since its affordable great price and also easy to share (or drink yourself lol!). I had the salmon benedict which is gluten free as its made on potato cakes vs english muffin. Love this! It was a lot of food, I ended up taking half home for later. Our server was Beth and she was nice, just felt that service should've been a bit faster since we were on a time crunch. Apart from that, great experience overall.

Tomahawk Steak with variety of sauces

We celebrated my birthday dinner here with my family, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. We made a reservation for five people, and our server, Philip, took great care of us throughout the entire evening. We started with appetizers--two orders of calamari and the portobello fries. The portobello fries were so good that we ended up ordering another round! For our main course, we shared a large tomahawk steak, along with mac and cheese and a Caesar salad. Everything was delicious and well-prepared. To top it all off, they surprised me with a complimentary caramel toffee ice cream dessert with a lighted candle for my birthday. It was such a sweet and thoughtful touch.

Cuban Sandwich and chips

We had made reservations online the night before and walked in about 1:30 on Sunday after doing the loop at Red Rocks. We were surprised it wasn't packed but it was almost time for brunch to be finished. When you walk in the front door don't let it fool you. As we were taken upstairs to be seated it got loud. Almost too loud actually. I wasn't sure about this pick but my sister-in-law was really excited about it. This place and the food changed my mind. We laced our orders and the food came in a reasonably quick amount of time. It looked great and was equally delicious! Everyone loved what they got. I took a bit of my nieces French toast which was so thick and tasty. How they get that cooked without being soggy is beyond me. My sister-in-law had steak frites which she enjoyed. My son got the Cuban sandwich. They warned him there were a lot of pickles on it and they were not lying. The pickles thankfully are tasty so it was a good thing. The homemade chips were great with it. I had the Short Rib Hash and I can see why it's one of their most popular items. It was amazing. Perfect mix of ingredients with proportionately appropriate amounts of each. The meat was so tender. I was glad they didn't skimp on it. Delicious! Would I come back here again? Definitely! I'm so glad they turned a bit sure about it stop into a happy to be so full meal. I got a piece of their cake to go. It came with mascarpone, espresso and chocolate shavings to put on top after I warmed it. It was very good as well. Glad they package it to go that way. Wouldn't have been good any other way. Kudos Echo & Rig!

Monte Cristo

This was the first time I have eaten at echo and rig. My friend hosted her birthday brunch here. The restaurant was very fancy and clean. The waiter was so nice and was checking on us periodically. For a drink, I ordered the seasonal sangria which was an apple sangria. I've never had an apple sangria and it exceeded my expectations. For my entrée, I ordered the Montecristo sandwich. This is the best monte cristo sandwich I have ever eaten. It was the right amount of sweet and the right amount of salty. I would love to come back and explore the lunch and dinner menu!

I was recommended to have my husband's birthday dinner here by several different people! Reservations on a Saturday night were a piece of cake. The restaurant itself is upstairs, but they have an elevator, so it's pretty easy to get up there. The dining room is lovely; neutral tones, open kitchen, beautiful windows and patio seating as well. We were seated by the windows and our waiter was Juan Carlo. (Highly recommend!) We ordered a crab cake, steakhouse salad, burger, and two ribeye steaks with a side of mac & cheese. They make everything to order so they warn you there will be a little wait, depending on your cook preference for your meat. The burger was gorgeous; the salad was fresh and sweet; the crab cake was good, and our steaks were beautiful! Perfectly cooked, perfectly spiced, and absolutely delicious! At the end of the meal, Juan Carlo brought a sweet surprise for my husband to celebrate his birthday. It was a wonderful experience and my parents made reservations for later next week! Highly recommend if you're up in the Summerlin area!

After a long time debating on coming back here. I gave it another shot. Management is still different , majority of people are new. Everyone else left.. but the Host Luka was still there and she remembered me from over a year ago, and was very respectful and sweet, she made me feel comfortable, because I was really not wanting to come back here at all.. She's known me for quite a bit when I used to come often in the past. Taylor the manager introduced herself & was also checking in making sure all was good. Hospitality this time was a bit better & positive. One thing I really did not enjoy was a remark from my waiter was that apparently what my situation I went through of not being at the establishment was being laughed amongst each other as I was told.. because apparently he knew the waiter that helped me before that's not professional on my end nor something you should tell a customer. It should be kept to yourself on that aspect.. it was a serious matter on my end and to be looked at as a joke even though it's not meant in harm still shouldn't have been said. I'm looking forward and expecting the same hospitality of atmosphere as I got yesterday, minus the laughing jabs of a serious situation, for my next visit. People don't understand that food isn't number one it's HOSPITALITY!!! How you're treated and greeted once you're in the establishment is the impression... I was still told that the waiter I had before who was very disrespectful was still there but as long as I'm not associated with or by them. Food was 4/5. Customer service 3/5.

If you already have your steakhouse I'm not going to tell you to ditch it and come to this one, but for me. This was a special restaurant and I plan on being back anytime I make it to vegas. Service made you feel special, regardless of how you dressed or what you ordered . The vibe felt welcoming whether it was a special occasion, business or dinner with your family. Drinks were very good and delicious. My wife got the Honey Blossom & I got the Blueberry bliss. They both added to the night without needing a second. Lollipop Kale Salad was incredible. This is a must get for everyone. French Onion Soup Simple and good. Tastes like it's made from scratch in a good way but probably wouldn't order again. Would skip the potatoes next time too. Roasted Heirloom Carrots were good. Now onto the Steaks!!!! We ordered Zabuton with Red Wine Demi Spencer with Charred Onion Both steaks were magical Loved both sauces, I liked the Zabuton more and my wife liked the Spencer more. If I'm ever lucky to make it back I'd like to get the same side sauces and request the Brandied Mushroom or Chimurri to try as a 2nd. Maybe try the skirt and strip as well although it will be hard to not re-order the same steaks. For Dessert we had the Caramel Turtle Sundae & Berry Shortcake Sundae Both were out of this world, maybe 1 to share would be fine. My vote would be the Caramel turtle, my wife's vote would be the Berry Shortcake. So... maybe you order both and just eat half If I'm being picky, the chair I was sitting in was a bit uncomfortable against my back

We chose Echo and Rig for our anniversary dinner, and it was absolutely the perfect choice! From the moment we walked in, we felt special--the staff welcomed us warmly. Our server was phenomenal--knowledgeable, attentive, and made great recommendations, ensuring our drinks were never empty without ever feeling rushed. We started with the fire roasted cauliflower. It was amazing and which was flavorful and perfectly portioned. I had the swordfish and my partner had the ribeye steak, both cooked precisely to the requested temperature and packed with flavor. The sides, particularly the mashed potatoes were decadent. Even though we were stuffed, they surprised us with an amazing, complimentary pecan caramel dessert, making for a truly memorable end to a fantastic night. The atmosphere was classy, romantic, slightly loud on a special occasion. We will definitely be back to try other food items!

Came in for happy hour! This place has the best happy hour in my opinion... if you can get a seat! The bar area is pretty small and fills up fast! The menu has been pretty consistent since we've been coming, the food offerings are the same and always delicious! The hot dog is an elevated version and is amazing! The fries are good with a glaze and steak ( more like burnt ends) on them and the steak and egg is amazing! The drink specials are some of the best in Vegas! For 2 of us, we got out of there for 30.00 for 2 steak and eggs, a butcher fries and a hot dog plus 2 dirty martini's! We love coming here! The staff is attentive and friendly!

It's the kind of lineup that genuinely makes you curious to try everything. However, while the potential for a 5-star experience is clearly there, the execution still feels like it's chasing that final "je ne sais quoi." The Highlights: Gambas al Ajillo: Absolutely fantastic. The prawns were expertly cooked, and the brown butter confit garlic provided a rich, perfect complement. Wagyu Burger: Once the kitchen nailed the temperature, this was top-notch. It's a standout dish when executed correctly. The Misses: Consistency: On the first visit, seasoning felt sparse across the board and the empanadas cried out for more sauce options. This time, the pendulum swung the other way with a slightly overcooked and oversalted scallop. Technical Execution: We had to send the burger back; it arrived medium-well despite a medium-rare request. The "Fries": The menu lists truffle fries, but what arrived were essentially homemade chips. While tasty, they don't quite hit the mark if you're expecting a true fry texture. The restaurant is clean, the vibe is right, and the menu is creative enough to keep me coming back. They are so close to being a premier Summerlin destination. Once they tighten up the kitchen consistency and fine-tune those minor execution errors, they'll more than likely hit that 5-star mark.

From the jump, everything just clicked. The pacing felt natural, nothing rushed, nothing forgotten. You could tell there was intention behind the experience, but it never felt forced or overly polished. Just... dialed in. As it was a bit of a slower early evening, chef/owner Justin came to check in several times to see how we were doing and provided explanations of the food and the idea behind each bite. This not just dinner...it was an experience. I went all in on the menu and I'm glad I did, because this kitchen is not playing around. There's a confidence here that shows up on every plate. But a few dishes absolutely ran the table. The foie gras is rich in the way you want it to be, but balanced enough that you don't feel weighed down after a few bites. The wagyu carpaccio is ridiculous, melts instantly and somehow still feels light. And the toro crudo... that one didn't stand a chance. Silky, clean, just enough citrus and heat to keep it interesting. It's the kind of dish where you finish it and immediately wish you hadn't shared. And then there's the ensalada de naranjas. I ordered it three times, which honestly says everything. It shouldn't be the dish you keep thinking about, but here we are. The frisée and fried kale bring texture, the manchego gives it that salty edge, the candied walnuts add just enough crunch. But the oranges are unreal. Sweet in a way that almost doesn't make sense, no bite, no bitterness, just pure citrus perfection. You can tell they're something special, not the kind of thing you find just anywhere. What I appreciated most is that nothing felt like filler. Seafood, meat, vegetables, every dish had a purpose and actually delivered. It's rare to go through that much of a menu and not find a weak spot, but they pulled it off. And the service matched the food. Attentive, sharp, and genuinely welcoming without hovering or making it feel like a performance. The kind of service that makes the whole night flow without you even noticing it. This is the kind of place you leave already planning your next visit, trying to decide if you reorder your favorites or pretend you have self control and try something new. Either way, it's awesome.

It has a warm ambient glow that makes the whole place feel intimate, but noise levels can be a bit high due to the close proximity of the tables and lack of noise buffer. Their drink menu is also creative, with unique cocktails and seasonal specials worth exploring. We tried a bunch of different food items: Takoyaki balls: the BEST balls ever! And that's saying a lot because we've been to Japan ! Takoyaki itself is a classic Osaka street food, traditionally made with diced octopus in a savory batter cooked in molded griddles. Here at Hachi, these takoyaki balls are crispy on the outside with a soft center, sitting abed a rich mayo-based sauce. What makes these stand out is the contrast with the balls of delicious and, instead of a fully liquid sauce, there are small chunks of cream cheese blended in, so you have bites of that with the battered balls! Agedashi Tofu: Lightly fried tofu served in a delicate dashi broth. The exterior is soft with a bit of crisp, while the inside stays silky and custard-like. The broth is clean and, if I dare say, savory but light. Basically a punch of umami and extremely balanced! Karaage: They are known for their chicken karaage, and it absolutely delivers. The chicken lightly coated and fried until golden and crisp while staying incredibly juicy inside. Each bite has a satisfying crunch followed by tender, flavorful meat! I highly recommend pairing it with the negi sauce, which delivers a a tangy vinegar-based scallion sauce that cuts through the fat and oils, and it deeply enhances the flavor of the chicken. Yakitori Skewers: Yakitori is a traditional Japanese grilling style where small skewers of meat are cooked over charcoal. The focus is on simple flavors utilizing high-quality ingredients. We tried a mix of skewers, which comes with a slice of lemon on top to be squeezed over the skewers: * Wagyu skewers: rich, buttery, and cooked to perfection * Beef tongue: more chewy and textured, so not a huge fan of it * Chicken skin: ultra crispy with rendered fat and a satisfying crunch * Pork belly with green onions: fatty, smoky, and balanced by the freshness of scallions We also ordered a fresh scallop skewer, grilled shrimp with tartar sauce, and eel. The scallops were sweet and tender with 3 pieces per skewer. The shrimp was cooked and de-shelled and served with a tartar sauce. The eel was the most memorable with its rich, tender, and deeply savory taste. Eel (unagi) is considered a delicacy in Japanese cuisine where it's known for its sweet glaze and soft texture. Our favorites were definitely the eel and scallop skewers.

This was my second time around and we went in as a big group of nine (seven adults and two kids)…read more We were seated in the main dining area and high chair was already placed for us at the end of the table. Our waitress and waiter were both very nice. Service is great here. I have no complaints regarding that! I started by ordering their Hot Tea Pot in the Genmaicha Tea, which is refillable ($3). The tea was good. I must've had it refilled about three times. The husband got the Asahi draft. For the food orders, we started with the cholegi salad, takoyaki, and chicken karaage. While the cholegi salad was good, I'd have to say I've had better chicken karaage elsewhere. Unfortunately, I'm going to have to skip the chicken karaage next time. It was lacking in flavor so I asked for table salt to sprinkle on top of it. For the main dish, our party ordered beef sukiyaki udon, tendon, tuna and avocado poke don, nabeyaki udon, and kake udon. Everyone enjoyed their entrees. For dessert, we got everything that was on the menu so that we could sample them. I particularly enjoyed their matcha pudding in that it was more than what the picture showed. There were layers of azuki beans and black sugar syrup underneath the green pudding. This one was my favorite! The sweet potato ice cream was the party's favorite. Overall, I really like the vibe of this restaurant. I'll be back again to try other things on the menu that I didn't get to try this time.
