This has been on my place to try for a while and when I saw it on restaurant week I knew I had to check it out. We made reservations over the phone for restaurant week and when we arrived the hostess said they weren't accepting restaurant week that day and it's on the website, however, the website didn't state any such detail nor did the person on the phone. We spoke to the manager who then spoke to the executive chef and they were able to get that resolved which was much appreciated. I'm sure we weren't the only ones that were coming in for restaurant week so I think it would be wise for the restaurant to confirm details and communicate it effectively in the future. Our server, Derek, was really friendly. The food was decent, really enjoyed the salads and cheese in them. Our sandwiches, however, were a bit charred and my friend received the tops of the bun and I got the bottoms. Let me start by commending Christina (CHRIS) at the helm of the bar. She is a master of her craft. Not only is she knowledgeable but she is fast efficient and provides the most excellent customer service. She leads by example and is management material, a pay raise is well deserved. Now I arrived during happy hour by accident. Come to find out the best value in town is found here. The happy hour menu is limited but well worth the drive you can't ever go wrong with steak & eggs at this price. Im told cocktail of the day is usually a delicious drink. I had 3 of them (sorry no picture). The butcher fries are amazing. The food quality is outstanding and the ambiance is vibrant full of locals. You can't go wrong. Good evening, I wanted to take a moment to share feedback regarding my family's recent visit to your Henderson location. My family and I have visited many times in the past, and I have often purchased gift cards from your restaurant for Christmas gifts. Unfortunately, this particular visit was the most disappointing experience we have had. We had reservations today at 1:45 PM for five adults and four small children under the age of five. Our server was Zachery. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a very nice hostess and were promptly given water. However, once our server came to the table, he seemed to be having an off day, almost as if we were inconveniencing him. Zachery immediately asked if we were ready to order, and we started with appetizers, including the fried spinach salad, bacon appetizer, and crab cakes. It took quite a while for the appetizers to arrive, and shortly after they were delivered, Zachery returned asking if we were ready to place our entrée orders. All of the adults ordered meals, while two of the children shared a burger. Once we finished dining, Zachery brought the check and informed me that a 20% gratuity had automatically been added due to the size of the party. I do not feel this was entirely fair considering four members of the party were children under five years old, including one infant. I paid the bill without issue, but for a total of $237.49, I expected a greater sense of urgency and attentiveness, especially given the overall pace of service and the number of customers in the restaurant at the time. I am writing this because I truly believe in supporting local businesses that are off the Strip. However, based on today's experience, I do not believe we will be returning to your establishment anytime soon. We were sat in the corner on a very small wobbly table next to the fire extinguisher on the night of our anniversary with reservations made a month in advance. We asked two separate waiters if we could be moved to another table and were told that management had said it was not possible due to a large party coming in, which is understandable. As we sat through dinner, we watched three surrounding tables of four, seat two people each. We brought this to the waiters attention, the manager, George never approached us to address the situation or even offer an explanation. We received remorse from the surrounding tables and were told they did not agree with how we were treated and George's lack of a response. We arrived on time and then after checking back 15 mins later the host told us "we cant control how long people take to eat". 20 mins later "there are still 3groups ahead of you". This was for a early bird 530 reservation. At the bar, the drink order also took too long as they were out of martini . The main area has horrific acoustics with no money spent on any decorative art or anything to absorb sound. The chairs appear to be about $10 and were uncorfable as surprise surprise our food was beyond slow. Unusual lack of hoptiatlity especially in Las Vegas. I had the chicken Greek salad with fire cauli and a Pineapple Express mocktail.. um bomb. My husband had the Spencer steak with garlic cheddar cheese mash and broccolini. He normally doesn't try any sauces and he loves the sauce Derrick surprised him with. The portions were definitely table size so we shared a lot of the food. I also loved that the had the drink and coloring upon arrival for kids. So my daughter immediately had something to do without asking. Overall, a great dinner and we would def return. This review is for the experience I received from this restaurant after leaving. I always keep my copy of the receipt writing down my total and tip for this very reason. Some waiters will take out a different amount than what I write down and that's exactly what happened. I wrote down one amount and what was actually taken out of my account was a higher amount. I've called the restaurant many times to get this taken care of. First, I was told that finance handles it and to email them. I never heard back via email so I had to call again. Finally a manager said they would take care of it and issue me a redund. It has been over a week and the refund is still not in my account. I called back explaining and they said "ok, let me transfer you to finance" Oh so now they have a phone number and not only an email? A voicemail picks up saying mail box full cannot accept messages. So I call back to tell them this. The hostess then tells me she's going to keep trying to reach out to the manager or finance, Idk who at this point. If that doesn't work, she said she would call the CFO. Really does it need to go up that high? Take care of your business Echo & Rig. Geez. I wanted to try this place again, but now I'm not so sure. The waiter who did not put what I wrote on the receipt, into the system to charge me, was Celsito. It feels like I'm getting the runaround from the staff about this, but I'm not giving up. I don't often rave about restaurants, but this is one I find myself recommending all the time. The quality is incredible--especially for the price. We opted for the takeout Thanksgiving dinner it was raw so we followed the instructions and after 2 1/2 hours it was rare and not done. The turkey was under 14-16 lbs which was in their post when we ordered it for $280 plus tax. We had to buy extras because the small pumpkin pie wasn't sufficient for a party of seven nor the dinner rolls etc. The turkey wasn't precooked like Whole Foods which is normally order from for holiday feasts. The turkey was dry. Echo & Rig should stick with their steaks. The vegetables were not edible. Never again! read more

We reserved a table here to celebrate a Birthday. The location in Tivoli is amazing and we were able to walk around shops and a few pop up vendors afterwards. First off the staff at Echo & Rig assure you have an upscale experience. They know the details of each cut of meat and made solid recommendations. They suggested a medium cook on certain cuts ordered by our party since they are thicker, and they were cooked great still like a Medium rare. Next, there are a great variety of sides which is wonderful for those who may want to mix things up or have dietary restrictions. If Beef isn't wanted, you have chicken options and a few seafood selections as well as salads. 3 of our 4 ordered different steaks to compare and different sauces such as horseradish, bernaise or chimichurri. The Mac n cheese side was creamy and one of the best I've had next to the family's homemade. ;). Everything was cooked perfectly. The fried spinach salad was a huge hit at our table .. light crispy fried spinach was a new experience and absolutely amazing!! The desserts are good and a beautiful display also. What a great experience! Living near Sacramento, Echo & Rig has been on my wish list for a long time, but when a last minute trip to Vegas came up this moved to the top of my dining list quickly! Everything was top notch - service was VERY attentive but not overdone. Manager did a swing by our table to say hello...nice touch. Water glasses never went below half full. Our steaks were perfect, and our server even went above & beyond to find my husband a larger-than-on-the-menu filet. We sat on the balcony, which was lovely. We haven't been here in a while, but this place never disappoints. We came here for my Mom's birthday and had a reservation. We sat outside on the patio because my Mom said it was too noisy inside. The patio had a nice view of the plaza and bell tower, especially during the evening with the lights on. Our waiter, Marcus was super helpful and friendly. For my drink I got a mocktail called the Cucumber Cooler. I really liked the addition of lemon to the drink which made it very refreshing. For our appetizers we ordered the Grilled Octopus Salad and Portobello Mushroom Fries. Both were super delicious. I liked the aioli that came with the mushroom fries and the big fava beans in the octopus salad. My Mom and I split an entree of the Filet Mignon. It was super meaty and cooked perfectly. I got mine with Horseradish Cream Sauce and my Mom got her's with Chimichurri sauce. My horseradish sauce was pretty mild in spice, super thick, creamy and tasty. The chimichurri sauce was thinner and seasoned well. Our steak also came with homemade chips and a stuffed mushroom. I could tell the chips were housemade and the stuffed mushroom was tender and delicious. I think it was filled with a mixture of breadcrumbs, spices, herbs and cheese. We also ordered a couple of sides, the first was Radicchio with Pecorino Cheese and the second was Broccolini. The radicchio was very unique and also had some thinly sliced garlic in it. The vegetable itself tasted slightly bitter, but was cooked well. The broccolini had some red pepper flakes in it that gave it a nice kick. For dessert we ordered the Panna Cotta with Berries, but also got a sampling of their sorbets for my Mom's birthday. The sorbets were actually more of a hit than the panna cotta. They were super flavorful and refreshing with multiple fruit and citrus flavors. It was a great birthday dinner for my Mom. read more

The good: the service was knowledgeable, chatty, and professional. Since we were first timers, the waiter brought six different sauces for us to try. All those sauces were good, but the charred onion was a cut above. My companion loved dipping the delicious chips in the blue cheese sauce. The octopus appetizer was tender, with bright flavors of celery and mild olives. There wasn't a ton of octopus, but the beans were tasty, too. The less good: Lots of upsell. We wouldn't have upgraded to the Wagyu without the sales pitch, and we didn't find it lived up to the hype. It was a good steakhouse steak, not the game changer we were led to expect. The asparagus side was a fail. Quite a skimpy portion, and some of the spears were woody. We didn't even finish them. It seemed like the kitchen only cared about the (perfectly tasty) egg and prosciutto on top. The Pineapple Express mocktail just tasted like pineapple and soda. We'd ordered it largely for the orgeat flavor and couldn't taste it at all. Don't come for an early dinner, as we did, and expect to find many options in the butcher shop. We had hoped to try sausages and other specialties, and they didn't have anything we wanted in stock. It had a great crust, cooked perfectly (medium rare of course), and had fantastic flavor. The staff were very friendly and even more attentive. Depending on your preference, they may be a little too much lol. They came and checked on us often, which was nice. I have been to this location multiple times and had great experiences but my recent experience was not horrible but less than stellar. 3.5 based on untimely service and dishes not quite meeting the mark. We dined here for my son's birthday and initially, they acknowledged him and were attentive. The server took forever returning for our drink orders, and again for our food orders. Whenever we asked for things like extra butter or lemon our food had already gone cold before they remembered. Our small plates were mostly underwhelming. The carne asada bone marrow was sadly light on the marrow and heavy on the citrus and onion. The octopus was charred though the texture was on point, and the bean salad was good. The crab cake texture was soggy and it was not warm. The mushroom soup was good but lukewarm. Our béarnaise sauce came out gelatinated because it was not where it needed to be temperature wise. The ribeyes were tasty and cooked perfectly, and the chips and standard stuffed mushroom cap were fire as usual. The mac and cheese and demiglace potatoes were delicious. My son's girlfriend enjoyed her salmon dish. They cooked it medium just how she likes it. For dessert they brought out an amazing birthday treat with the most delicious toffee. We also tried the berry panacotta. The texture was a bit gelatinesque rather than custardy. It was as if it had been sitting a while. My good experiences have outweighed this mediocre instance so I will return and hope that the issues are resolved by then. read more

I have heard great things about this restaurant for years, finally decided to go have lunch with some friends. What a horrible experience I have no idea why anyone enjoys this place. Weird vibe as soon as you walk in, some weird bar that looks like it belongs in a bad hotel. Gross looking meat hanging in a random fridge in the corner is their "butcher shop". Hostesses were absolutely awful and rude. Horrible ambiance, loud, no decor, cramped, very strange. Server was friendly but service was incredibly slow. The runner was very rude as well. Food was overcooked, dry, and bland. If the food was halfway decent the prices would be fine but everything about this place is awful. Would never recommend or return. read more
