Celebrated birthday here over the weekend. Great ambiance and decor that gives off welcoming vibes. Menu was quite big so we went with the mocktail and Cali squeeze beer along with deviled eggs, jalapeño corned bread, and cheesy bites for appetizers. We went with fish and chips as well as chicken tenders basket for our entree. Everything came out quickly and looked great, but they were a little salty for my taste. They also served a complimentary cookie dessert with ice cream for the birthday dinner. Service was excellent, the server was very attentive and humorous. We'll be back for another occasion for sure.
A go to here for HH and brunch - the staff here and ambiance makes it stand out! It takes you on a little staycation if you're a Vegas local to beautiful Santa Monica. Love that there are California favorites here. We usually like the Triple B, a glass of red wine, chicken tenders/fried chicken here are high quality. Now they even have truffle-alo like a truffle buffalo sauce that's not spicy. The coffee/cookie bar is a nice touch but I would love more savory options and more baked goods like croissants here if it's a grab and go situation
Summer House is a great spot for weekend brunch or lunch. They don't offer bottomless drinks, but they do have a bottle option if you're looking to share.The vibes are definitely there, and the patio is equipped with misters, which make a huge difference. We sat outside in the middle of a Vegas summer and were totally comfortable--which is saying a lot! I always order the shaved Brussels sprout salad with salmon. It's very filling, and I can never finish the whole thing. The dressing is perfectly balanced and exactly to my liking. If you're a salad person, it's a solid choice. And don't leave without grabbing one of the cookies from the front counter. They're an absolute must!

Summer House has a good dessert menu with other offerings from their bakery at the front of the restaurant. I've had their skirt steak frites, Mexican mocha, huevos rancheros, and cheesy dream puffs. The cheesy dream puffs reminds me of the cheese bread you get from Texas de Brazil. The skirt steak and frites were very juicy and full of flavor. The huevos rancheros look small on Yelp photos, but the size is bigger in person. Service could be more attentive. I'm not sure if it's on purpose so we don't feel rushed, but the servers could've checked in more.
We are so lucky in Las Vegas to have the chain restaurant Summer House. Beautiful setting in the Durango Casino. Service is always great and the food is even better! Delicious and refreshing, summertime, cocktails, lavender haze, and the Apperal spritz. It's definitely somewhere that I'm always looking forward to visiting again!
Walking up to the restaurant we were in awe with this cookie bar with so many different kind of cookies and the aroma of coffee. We were seated by the friendly host and was impressed with the aesthetic inside. Our server Ricky was awesome! This guy was quick with his honest opinion and suggestions. He was right with all of the suggestions. The jalapeño cornbread was good, I could've finished that my self. Mushroom pizza is a must try too. All of our main entree was good too. I love how Ricky seemed like he love what he does and he was good at it. Will definitely come back, maybe will try brunch or something.
Summer House at Durango Hotel & Casino was an absolute delight from start to finish. The restaurant is stunning, the décor is bright, inviting, and incredibly aesthetically pleasing. From the moment I walked in, I knew I was going to enjoy the experience. I chose to sit on the patio for lunch, and even though it was over 100 degrees outside, I was amazed at how comfortable it was. The patio was kept so cool that I completely forgot how hot it was outside. They did an incredible job creating a comfortable outdoor dining experience. Since I don't drink alcohol, I ordered a ginger beer with olives, which was a refreshing choice. For lunch, I had the Caesar salad with salmon, and it was absolutely delicious. The salmon was cooked to perfection, tender, flavorful, and seasoned beautifully. Every bite was fresh and satisfying. Unfortunately, I can't remember my server's name, but she was phenomenal. She was attentive, friendly, and made the entire experience even more enjoyable. Everything about this restaurant exceeded my expectations. From the beautiful ambiance and comfortable patio to the exceptional food and outstanding service, Summer House truly delivered. If I could give this restaurant more than five stars, I absolutely would.
Not sure why this place has a 3.9 Yelp review that is very much incorrect. This is definitely five star. It's just a beautiful property. The restaurant is very very well done. It's just a beautiful place to be inside of the restaurant is so visually stunning and everything was just beautiful from the service to the silverware to very wide variety menu. But I don't understand the 3.9. I don't know where that came from and where these people are dining that are giving 3.9s but I dine out a lot. This is a 5.0 here on Yelp. Ambiance 5 service also a five. There was so much fun. I felt like a kid
Beautiful decor and ambiance. We like the Mon-Fri happy hour menu, but with it had at least one healthy option. Kids menu is fun too - this is our favorite spot in Durango Casino.
Thank you Jay and the lady who checked us in around 10:30! We got the nicest booth and recs of their tostada that has tender pulled chicken and a crunch at the bottom!! Highly recommend :)
A random tourist mentioned it to me so decided to take my bride on a lunch date. Great find! We started with a cocktail, Lemon Spritzer for her and Espresso Martini for me. For appetizers we went with the cheesy puffs and one of the most delicious things I've ever tasted, Tuna, Watermelon, Thai Chili, Guac on mini tostadas. So good! We split a Margherita pizza for our main. Some of the servers hustling sounded great to their tables. Our waiter was just ok. Ambiance was open, airy, bright, and clean. Loved the greenery and hanging lights decor. Inside Durango Casino. I drink 2-3 cocktails a year. The espresso martini was the first in a few years that made me realize I actually drank a cocktail!
I was pleasantly surprised at how friendly & great the service was despite being a BUSY Friday night. My hubby & I had an impromptu date night, and were looking for something semi-low carb. We decided to split the following: Shrimp cocktail; Costa Mesa salad, and tuna & watermelon tostada. Since we were drinking, we also ordered the corn bread in a skillet w/ honey butter. EVERYTHING tasted so fresh & delicious!! I was so impressed with the tuna tostada that I asked my hubby to replicate it at home. We sat at the high-top table, so we had the bartender & two other nice servers to help us navigate the night. We cannot wait to bring our son back this fall, so we can take advantage of patio seating.
We went to Summer House for Mother's Day. I was able to make reservations and so when we got there, we were seated right away. Here's where they got right the aesthetic vibe and restaurant were beautiful. It really hit the mark on what they were trying to do which is inspired by California with coastal vibes. Our server said hi to us and said he'll be right back. He gave us water and we ordered an iced caramel macchiato and iced vanilla latte. We didn't see our server for a good 20 minutes after until we ordered our food which took another 20 to 25 minutes. I ordered the potato salad deviled eggs and salmon. Deviled eggs were incredible and I wish I had more than 2! The fish was really tough and not that great. The pasta that my husband ordered was a lot better. Once we were done eating, we barely saw our server as he was running around. There was no person picking up plates or filling out waters. I think they were really understaffed. My caramel macchiato was delicious and I really think they could do better if they get enough staff and fix some of their dishes. When we were done, I was given a small Mother's Day gift with a little dessert which I did appreciate.
Came in again last night for an amazing meal... We started with the Baked Spinach Artichoke Dip and the Shaved Brussels Sprouts Salad. We have had both before and they were still amazing. I've had Spinach Artichoke Dip in other places and this place is by far the best. I then had the Our Famous Herb Chicken Breast Paillard which was ok. It was a butterfly breast and most places cook this until it's dry. A good sauce of some kind would compliment this really well. My friend had the Miso Faroe Islands Salmon which she said was really good. She said they know how to cook a Salmon here. We also had the Caramelized Brussels Sprouts which are always good. Our server was Darian B and she was friendly and kept checking on us to make sure all was good. This is a great place and we will be back again soon. read more
Summer House isa New American type of full service restaurant and bar located in the Durango Resort Hotel/Casino that is only about fifteen minutes away from the strip. They offer a menu and a seasonal menu of all kinds of globally accented choices to please a variety of different tastes and appetites. They also have a cookie and coffee bar at their inside entrance. Inside is a modern spacious plant embellished atmosphere, a bar, and a beautiful outdoor patio with fountains. I'm still a fan of this restaurant but we hit them on a day were we had not so great service and experienced one dish that I figure could not have been prepared correctly but on the other hand most dishes we've tried here were very good and LAST TIME we had great service so like most restaurants out there most are not perfect. This restaurant offers many interesting appetizers. This time we tried the cheesy dream puffs. They come out fresh and hot and are light as air and are cheesy. My husband got a prime burger again (medium-rare). Last they told us that the burgers are fresh ground in house. Anyways- The burger did taste good but wasn't perfect. It came with unripe tomato that was soggy. The cheese wasn't melted. AND OUR WAITER DIDN"T OFFER KETCHUP for the fries. I tried their Famous Herb Chicken Breast Pailard. The chicken was nice tender and moist but kinda boring with not much to it. But someone there SCREWED UP THE ARUGULA SALAD because it was so burning spicy hot that I should have called the FIRE DEPARTMENT. NOBODY WOULD ENJOY EATING THIS SALAD. I so wanted to complain to our waiter but he never returned to check on us. He only came to the table when we were done and asked us if we wanted dessert. We've been here 6-8 times in the last 6 months! Never disappoints, always consistent and great service! I'm gluten free and I absolutely love the gf fried chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries! Seriously the best! Everyone's always happy with their meals... Large group brunch to before the show lunch or dinner! Definitely my favorite restaurant in town! read more

I ordered the huevos rancheros and they were delicious. Loved the coffee as well. Outside seating was amazing event during the heat. I'm excited to see what it would be like during the fall. great little spot for some good food. there's also a cookie bar at the entrance that was so cool. read more
The ambience of this restaurant was so cute and it was so perfect for mom's brunch gathering!!! The table was set right in front of the tree and we did have a good time!! The order I did was Matcha latte Their famous giant cinnamon roll (shared with): a little bit overly sweet for me. Taste really good for first bite though... And a nice house salad with grilled wagyu sirloin steak: It was good but not surprisingly amazing... The portion was good. The cocktail lineup looks amazing. I just didn't feel it to drink alcohol on that day... The server was super attentive and we were like 14 of us. But I didn't feel like waited long. Most impressive part of that day was, they have QR code for the payment... 14 of us each one can pay their own food each one payment way! All the restaurant should have that platform for group customer!! read more

This place is literally my dream house aesthetic!! It's so cute, cozy, and it feels like the outdoors is brought indoors. I really wanted to try the deviled eggs, but my rude childhood best friend wouldn't let me order them on my birthday because she apparently eats eggs and works out enough for all of us, so somehow that became my problem. Anyway, what we did have was really good. I loved the rigatoni pasta and the flank steak. The fries were super skinny and crispy just like how I like them. The cheesy bread was basically popcorn to me. I loved it, although they weren't the best cheesy bread puffs I've ever had. Texas de Brazil still has those beat, and theirs are unlimited, so... respectfully, it's hard to compete. The service was great, and they even bring out a little candle and card if you're celebrating a birthday. Overall, definitely a nice spot. I didn't try the cookies because I heard they're not that good... so I guess I'll have to come back and conduct my own investigation. And hopefully next time I can finally get those deviled eggs without someone being so egg-stremely lame. LOL read more

This place is absolutely gorgeous inside. I loved the socal west coast vibes that this place has when you are walking down the hallway into the restaurant. Went for brunch and tried various items. Giant Cinnamon roll- 4/5. Im generally not a huge fan of cinnamon roll and this was one of the better ones I've ever had. Jalapeño cheese cornbread- 2.5/5. Tastes just like it sounds. Turkey sandwich- 2.5/5. I really liked the quality of the turkey inside but it was lacking in sauce and flavor. I just wish it had a bread in the center so that there's room for some mayo and mustard to balance out the sandwich. The shoestring fries were cold and not so great. Brisket and hash- 2.5/5. Did not look appetizing at all and flavor was okay. I'm unsure if I'll be ever back for the food. I love Summerhouse for their cookie bar and have tried most of the items. Highly recommend their brown butter Oreo cookie rice crispy treat, the Thai banana cookie, peanut butter cookie, and their oatmeal. You can't go wrong with majority of them. read more
Cute place and I loved the outdoor seating! We came in on a Sunday around 11am so I had a feeling it was probably a long wait. Inside looked packed and there were quite a few people waiting for a seat. When we went up to check in, we were informed if we wanted to sit outside we could get a table right away, which was awesome! It was a nice day, nice and cool and minimal wind, and the outside patio was lovely! It was pretty covered with almost like sky lights. Lots of greenery made me feel like I wasn't even in Vegas anymore. Our server was really nice, I can't remember her name or I would give her a big shoutout! It's a southwest flair with the food here. I ended up getting an horchata iced latte and the mexican hash browns with a side of bacon, which I cut up and added to it since there was no meat in the dish (I asked to add bacon to the hash browns and they came out separate, so I guess they don't add additional things in). I liked it! Could have used a liiiiitle more seasoning/flavoring, but the combo of eggs, potatoes, and salsa is always a hit! My husband got the breakfast tostadas and loved them. I would love to come back and try their dinner menu, and I'm sure the patio is beautiful at night! There was even a cookie bar in the front of this place. So much to try! read more

Longtime Durango Casino visitor, first time Summer House! This place is a little hidden and the restaurant is behind their cookie and coffee bar. Heading down a hallway of sorts, you enter a full dining room with an adjacent bar and plentiful outdoor seating patio. Do California Coastal vibe - this checks the box! We stumbled upon Martini Hour (Mon-Fri 3-6) and thought the prices were very reasonable. $10 martinis, $4 rotating draft, wine specials and several food items. The bartenders are super nice and acknowledge you right away. Special shoutout to Irish at the bar - she was great in recommendations! We started with a tavern cut pizza ($12) and she told us that the pepperoni is specially made for Summer House and is a good topping add - sure! Why not! (+$3). The result - pepperoni was indeed flavorful and was a nice addition to the pizza. It is a thin crust with crisp. I like that it's not a bready pizza - nice and light. I added a lot of red pepper flakes to my slices though because I felt it complimented the pepperoni well. Then we got a Wagyu Cheeseburger ($5) and added fries (+$3). The cheeseburger comes out medium well - but due to being Wagyu is was probably why it was still moist. If anything - medium would have been perfect. If you don't add bacon or anything it's an overall simple cheeseburger. You can't beat a $5 burger though for Durango Casino. The fries are labeled as crispy fries - I would say it was 50/50. They are shoestring style so some were nice and crisp, some not. Lastly, we had an Espresso Martini which was delicious! It's made with real components and it's not a premix hack - yay! The vibe at the bar was great. The chill music on in the background and two TVs had sports programming on. The patrons at the bar are also friendly so it's nice to have random conversations! Overall - a very good experience with great service and solid food. read more
We were sat very quickly and the food was flavorful. The guac was the only exception, pretty bland in my opinion, so skip that if you go. The wagyu taco plate was so good, would highly recommend The steak was very undercooked. Ordered at medium well and came out rare. The amount of fries on that plate was absurd. If you like fries, then that is the dish for you, but it looks like they took 4 potatoes and made them into fries before tossing them on the plate and the steak was almost an afterthought. Service was good, she was friendly, but our party was very hungry so it felt slow at first. Not her fault we waited so long to eat! 6/10 - would go back because they have a cookie bar up front that we didn't get to get unfortunately! Maybe wouldn't go back for the food though. We came on Tuesday, April 14th 2026 around 11:30am for lunch. The best part of our visit was Jose, our server. He always had a smile on his face and was so welcoming. Actually, probably one of the best waiters we've encountered ever! He was the best! I hope management recognizes him. He recommended the Shaved Mushroom Pizza which was great! The crust was spot on. We also had the the Crispy Chicken Sandwich. The Mexican Mocha Coffee had just the right kick of Agave. As always, hip and chill vibes inside. Next time we return, I hope to sit outside. read more
Hot tip !! Make sure you enter this restaurant from the parking lot not through the casino. The entrance is breathtaking. You truly feel like you're in vacation mode. Feels like Maui The staff needs a refresher course in customer service however. We walked to the hostess desk to check on a reservation only to find out that happy hour is in the bar. We found our way back to the bar and the lovely Emily kindly pushed two hightop tables together to accommodate our group of five ladies. I really wish the entire staff would be as accommodating as Emily because she was beautiful inside and out. Onto the food !! Their happy hour menu is limited however we did find a few good options that we could share. Espresso martinis were yummy even though the vodka brand was an off brand but that's ok, the drink was wonderful. Our server, Jay, was anything but excited to see us. Maybe it's his low-key personality but when you're in customer service, you need to be a little bit more upbeat and accommodating. You never know when you're serving people who are also in the tipping industry. Drinks were great. Tostadas with crab and ahi tuna were delicious. We had 2 pizzas ... one cheese and one sausage. They chop it up into ridiculous sized slices. It was flatbread mode but not advertised this way. Truffle fries were shoestring fries. Not my favorite. Wagyu burger was really nothing more than a plain burger. Honestly ... if you're going for happy hour, choose an espresso martini with a crab tostada or an ahi tuna tostada. Everything else, in my humble opinion, was just average. Beautiful restaurant that needs a kitchen upgrade. read more
Think California-coastal meets desert resort. Indoor/outdoor flow with floor-to-ceiling windows, light wood, tons of greenery, mini waterfall, fire pit, and misters on the patio. Bright and airy. The best part comes from the garden patio with water features, and beachy decor. The Waguy burger at happy hour is one of the best. Dont forget to stop by their Cookie bar! read more

Very cute trendy restaurant. Our server was attentive even though it was really busy. The esspressotini was perfect. It was not too sweet, smooth and frothy. We got the poke nachos, Wagyu meatballs, truffle fries. My favorite was the poke nachos. The truffle fries were good but a bit too salty for me. I definitely will come back for HH and get the BBB deal. $15 for burger, beer and brownie. read more
A group of nine of us came here for my mother's birthday a few weekends ago. I had never been here but had heard good things. Even though we had reservations, we still had to wait about 15 minutes before they could seat us which is never a good sign. Walking in, I must say it was absolutely gorgeous, one of the prettiest restaurants I've eaten at in a long time! It really felt like you weren't in a hotel or in the desert, but rather somewhere in coastal California. The restaurant was filled with the typical people you would expect, pretty women in sundresses who have had way too much plastic surgery, way too early in their lives. Bachelorette parties, I think I counted three. We had two young children in our group, so shortly after getting seated, we ordered their food first, so they wouldn't get antsy. We ended up getting their food before we even placed the rest of our tables order... and that really set the tone for the rest of the meal. It's not that the service was inattentive, it was just very slow. The hamburger that was ordered for the children, came out pretty much still mooing and needed to be sent back to be cooked a little longer. We ended up ordering three appetizers for the table and then a meal for each of us. Two of the appetizers, the cornbread and the potato salad deviled eggs, came pretty quickly and were absolutely delicious. The truffle fries that we had ordered as an appetizer never came. I'll start off by saying that everything on the menu is over inflated in price. It is just far too expensive here for the food that they are serving you. I got the chicken picnic basket and what came out was absolutely massive which I'm always excited about. "At least you get a lot of food for it being pricey", I was thinking. I got three massive and delicious chicken fingers (though I wish it was actual bone-in fried chicken) and pretty much an entire farm's worth of shoestring french fries. If only the french fries were good. In our party they were about four other people who had french fries and everybody agreed that they just were not good at all. I will give a nod to the cocktails as they were delicious, but again, quite pricey. Overall Summer House is more form over function. They are definitely playing to a certain individual who has money and time to burn on mediocrity, so long as it's sexy. There were some food items that were very tasty, I will give them that, but the rest was pretty much just them putting lipstick on a pig. read more
Stopped in for a coffee and a cookie :) The coffee was surprisingly delicious. I ordered a basic sugar free vanilla latte with oat milk and it really hit the spot. My boyfriend got the M&M and cookies and cream cookies and absolutely devoured them, so clearly they were really good! Service was great. The guy working solo was handling a busy Sunday morning efficiently while still giving friendly service. The decor is super cute and homey, it almost feels like you're by the beach. Overall a great little stop for coffee and a sweet treat. read more

I've been coming here for happy hour and the happy hour is incredible! $10 martinis, including an espresso martini!! I've also been getting the fish tacos and I'm obsessed!! Service is always fast and friendly! (I've been sitting at the bar) and I love all of the ambience and greenery! read more
Always wanted to go into Durango casino and try one of the restaurants so I looked up reviews and summer house came up as one of the top rated ones inside the casino. It was my friend's bday so I made reservations ahead of time for dinner and put in the notes that it was our first time and also a bday. Upon Arrival we were greated by the hosts which asked for our table if we preferred inside or outside. We chose outside because it was such a lovely day. The decor inside or outside is stunning. There were trees inside the dining room I absolutely loved that nature feel. We were walked to our table outside right by the water fountain and on the table was a bday card for my friend. How sweet! Tiffany was our waitress and she was very friendly and informative. We shared the artichoke as an appetizer which is a must try in my opinion. And we both ended up with the skirt steak dinner and modified the fries for a salad. Food was absolutely delicious. Tiffany packed up a bday cookie dessert for the bday girl which was very sweet! This place has so many great spots for picture and the vibes and service was perfection! read more

This place is incredible! I can't believe it took me this long to finally tried this place. So happy that I finally did and the food was amazing. Opted to do Sunday brunch and the menu had the right notes. Started with the devil eggs and it was filling and delicious. I tried the egg sandwich with bacon and sub for sweet potatoes fries. The sandwich was delicious but the sweet potatoes took the spotlight. It was so crispy and well seasoned. The ambience was nice and had a beach vibe to it. The service was great and we look forward to our next return. We are going to try to enjoy the patio seating the next time we come back. read more
I visited Summer House with a group, and unfortunately, the experience was a bit disappointing. The wait time for our food was very long, and there wasn't much service throughout the meal. One thing I will say that I really liked, especially for larger groups, is their QR code system for the bill. Everyone can scan the code and select exactly what they ordered, which makes splitting the bill super easy and stress-free. That part was very convenient. Overall, I hope they improve the wait times and service because the concept and setup have potential. read more
