    Wagyu Sliders Chicken Wings

First & foremost id like to thank Derek for improving my experience & taking accountability. The first time I tried this place , the food , and service really missed the mark. However, I did return when the business was better prepared and it was a great experience overall. The Wagyu sliders , and teriyaki short ribs were my absolute favorite . The oxtail fried rice was about 7/10. The Brussel sprouts were phenomenal , teriyaki tacos were a little salty but creative, the chicken wings were fried well but lacked flavor ,& the cocktails were mid . Regina was our server and although she was spread thin she was still checking on us and taking our orders. I was disappointed to learn they only had vanilla ice cream for dessert. I would like to see a dessert menu with some variety. The playlist/music went perfect with the vibe of this place and I truly enjoyed the ambiance. There's still room for improvement here, I know it's also supposed to be a lounge and I was told there would be a DJ on the weekends but I have yet to see that vibe .

Unorganized Mess I visited Saffron Lounge today and left feeling bamboozled. We arrived right at opening and were the first table of the evening. This place is aesthetically gorgeous from the waterfall to the decor and luxury both seating. I noticed the hostess was also serving tables and the bartender (red flag). Service was extremely slow. My fried chicken wings arrived after and extended wait time, while my vegetable fried rice took even longer. My friends short rib were excellent she said but her mashed potatoes were actually cold. It felt as though part of the plate had been prepared and left sitting while the rest of the meal was finished. She declined to share the feedback because she didn't want to wait even longer. The restaurant was also out of plenty menu items as well as an ingredient needed for one of their signature cocktails. I ordered the wings but they were heavily seasoned with what tasted like additional seasoning added after frying. I literally coughed after taking a bite and my friend coughed as well trying to eat one due to all the seasoning. The kimchi Brussels sprouts had potential but they were tough and overly salty. The biggest disappointment was the vegetable fried rice. It was overwhelmed with soy sauce to the point that it was difficult to eat. My friend tasted it and immediately noticed the difference between my rice and her oxtail fried rice. I eventually walked to the bar and asked for it to be removed from the bill. The restroom had toilet paper scattered across the floor the trash can was overflowing there was no soap available and the sink area needed attention. Like this was at opening which means that restroom was dirty from the night before. The lack of organization was very noticeable. Employees seemed to be pulled in multiple directions and at one point I had to leave my table and walk to the bar to get assistance. Even the cook brought out food and commented that he should not have been serving which made the staffing challenges even more obvious. I genuinely wanted to love this place but with a $146 boll for two people the experience did not match the price point. I understand that staffing issues happen but this place is a hot mess. Customers should not have to absorb the impact through slow service inconsistent food quality and cleanliness concerns.

Had my daughter not had a birthday, I would never have known about this enjoyable place. Location is right off of Decatur Blvd near the China Town neighborhood but the building does not stand out so I have never noticed it. When we first walked in there was no greeting but my daughter told me that is not unusual as she has dined here a couple of times with friends. While waiting to be seated, we noticed that there was a networking event going on. While kind of a pain to have to listen to someone tell their business story, we managed to get by and the event ended pretty quickly once we were seated. Apparently this place used to be all vegetarian and recently began adding meat dishes to their menu. All the dishes lean towards Asian cuisine which we all love. Lots of great choices and we ended up going with the Cucumber Salad, Short Rib Teriyaki over pureed potatoes, Yaki Street Noodles, Chicken Gyoza, and the Short Rib Shredded Tacos. My daughter had her own dishes all vegetarian. Everything was very tasty. Restaurant is a nice size including a small bar area. Lighting is dim to enhance the experience. Service was wonderful as the restaurant was not very busy and it was a week day night. Ambiance was so perfect. The restaurant itself is gorgeous inside with a beautiful center piece in the middle of the room. Now that I know this place is here, I will definitely return to try more of their dishes.

More of maybe a 3.4... I came here on a Monday night and it wasn't too packed. Parking was pretty small but it wasnt hard to find parking the time I came. This place markets itself as a fine dining experience. The ambiance is amazing with its unique decor. It kind of reminds me of Tao on the strip. Asian inspired decor with some water and floral aspects. It's definitely a nice date spot. The seating was also very comfortable. The service was nice but nothing extraordinary. It also took awhile for the food to come out. The appetizers ordered came out first. Scallop 7/10: the first two pieces I ate had a fishy aftertaste but the rest of the dish was delish! Good balance of umami and citrus. Brussel sprouts 7/10: cripsy and light. However a bit salty. Also some pieces were overly burnt. But the flavor was not bad. Spicy tuna tacos 6.5/10: the fish wasn't fishy but I felt like the dish was lacking something to complete the flavor profile. The taco had a good crunch but felt a little dry? The main dishes came out shortly after. Short rib 9/10: this was probably the star of the show. It broke apart nicely, no knife needed! The flavor was also so good. I believe it was a teriyaki sauce. If cams with mash potato on the bottom which I enjoyed. Creamy and smooth! This was prob the best dish of the night! Oxtail fried rice 7.5/10: the rice was almost like sushi rice grain which I enjoy. It was a very light dish. My partner felt like it wasn't enough seasoning but I thot was not bad. It came with some pieces of oxtail but they weren't as tender as I hoped for it to be. Yaki street noodles 3/10: this dish was a miss for us. The texture of the noodles felt like they were reheated in the microwave. A bit stale feeling? And the flavors were not there for me. It was lacking in complexity. I also paid an extra maybe $5 for shrimp, and it only came with about 3 pieces :(. sadly we didn't finish the dish and didn't care to take it to go either. Steak and frites upgraded $5 more for truffle fries 4/10: (fries in the dish was a 10/10 lol) the fries were super addicting. I like how it was thin and crispy. Truffle flavor was so light I could barely taste it. So I wouldn't recommend upgrading. The steak was cooked to a medium but it was really chewy... however the peppercorn sauce it came with was good. Sadly the chewiness of the beef kinda ruined the dish for me. Lastly I got the ube crème bulee 6/10: I think it was too dense for me. I like it when the crème bulee isn't too heavy and not too sweet. I also didn't taste much of the ube flavor. The dessert itself is sweet only bc of the sugar on top. But the rest of it is not too sweet. Overall the food was okay, but for a fine dining experience it is subpar. Resturant had good vibes. Service was okay. I did come during happy hour which meant some dishes were 50% off. The dishes with a star next to it means they are part of the happy hour. Maybe I'll give it another go in the far future.

I have been dying to dine at this restaurant since I've moved to Vegas!! So glad my husband and I went for our wedding anniversary!! We didn't have a reservation which was okay because we arrived when they opened and they took us in! Originally this place was an all vegan restaurant but it's now turned into a fusion restaurant which is actually very good!! I was absolutely shocked at the size of the restaurant. From the outside I wasn't expecting much as it's next to a 7-11 but oohhh do not let that fool you on the location. There is limited parking in the front but there is more towards the back of the restaurant. The inside of this space is ridiculous beautiful!! It feels like I'm dining at a restaurant on the strip!! Insane when we walked in. I honestly felt under dressed lol. My husband and I got so much food and it was all absolutely delicious. I would say my favorite dishes were the oxtail fried rice the wagyu slider along with the short rib teriyaki!! Shoot it was all good We keep talking about bringing friends and family over to dine!! Can't wait to go back!

Ok so let me say sorry... I got zero pictures.. but BABY.. let me tell you.. we came in on a Thursday night around 7ish. I was a little nervous because there was only one party. The restaurant is beautiful inside with a nice ambience if you're looking for something for date night. Jasmine greeted us and sat our table of three. She was warm, friendly and honest. She also waited on all the tables (more ppl came in after us) and we never felt neglected. We ordered bang-bang shrimp, veggie gozya, veggie fried rice, oxtail fried rice and yaki street noodle, crème ube dessert was delicious as well. Everything was fresh and delicious and I will be back to try the other items Jasmine recommended. Do yourself a favor and check this place out!

Saffron Lounge, a tale with a troubled identity. The billboards, heavy advertisement and polished internet image would lead one to believe that Saffron Lounge was on their "A" game and tearing up the dining game in Vegas. Last night we made reservations and were greeted into a beautiful establishment. A highly refined interior decor with breathtaking esthetics, lighting, colors and vibe that eluded excitement that this was the place. The magnificent custom lighting structure is unbelievable. The soothing water feature in the center look more like a movie set than a dining establishment. The interior design really shined. We sat in a red velvet booth and were excited to be here. There were less than 20 dinners and only two staff, each being utilized as hostess, bartender, server and and buser. A tall gentleman, appeared to be owner or chef was flittering around the restaurant with an influencer, event planner and table of 4 young ladies celebrating a birthday and apparently knew him. We ordered the cucumber salad with ume vinegarette and plum salt. This was hands down the best choice of the night with crisp edges, great taste and lightly salted. Pita with yuzu hummus, chili oil and crudite was beautifully displayed. The hummus was bland, lacked flavor and tasted like it came from the deli counter at a local supermarket. The big bang shrimp was tempura prepared with gochujang aoili, yuza and chives. Over battered and tasted like frozen, this was a total flop. Our final selection was the Yaki street rice noodles with chili oil, blistered veggies and citrus finish. We added chicken to this dish. Barely warm noodles, over sauced, awful taste and the sliced pre cooked chicken was room temperature and dry. It was the worst noodle dish I've ever had and only ate two bites. Saffron Lounge is a disaster, the chef or owner who was bouncing around needs to take charge here and train the staff. Focus needs to be directed on the terrible product they are serving. First of all, serving utensils need to be delivered with each dish, common etiquette in dining. A knife is needed with room temp dry chicken strips as the fork was not adequate to cut. We waited 15 minutes after our table was cleared to get our check. This is truly the "tale of 2 images", a beautiful facility with really bad food and service. If Saffron is to survive, changes need to be implemented ASAP, management needs to wake up.

The service was so slow even though it was a total of 3 tables including mine. The ambience felt really sad. I think the worst part of the experience for me was how the walls emitted the small of acetone from the beauty supply store next door which really irritated our nostrils and even caused my brother a headache. We were about to leave when our waitress came over and asked us if we wanted to order. We felt bad so we ordered some dishes to try it out. The food was decent, but nothing left an impressionable memory in my taste bud that would make me want to come back. overall, we didn't enjoy our dinner and had to eat more food elsewhere.

Came here recently and was honestly really impressed. You can tell right away they use quality ingredients--the flavors were fresh and everything tasted well thought out, not just thrown together. The staff was also great--super attentive without being overbearing, and just genuinely welcoming. It made the whole experience feel easy and enjoyable. On top of that, the atmosphere was really nice. It had a comfortable, inviting vibe that made you want to stay a little longer. Definitely a spot I'd come back to and recommend to others. Hope to see the live music next time

The restaurant is under new management with a new menu and the food is insane! The restaurant is well-decorated and HUGE! We came here for a girls night and it definitely didn't disappoint. We truly ordered most of the menu because we just wanted to try a little bit of everything lol. Some highlights: - the lychee cocktail: so sweet and yummy! You even get a little presentation where they light it on fire. -bang bang shrimp: the batter is light and crispy and the sauce is so good! - beef tartare: BOMB. Savory, so much umami, and the perfect bite with the little toasties. - sea bass with lemongrass broth: must try! The broth was so fresh and light and paired well with the fish. - oxtail fried rice: can't go wrong with an oxtail fried rice. They do it with a fried egg and Chinese sausage - so good! - short rib teriyaki: soooo tender, with mashed potatoes that were super velvety. The service was great as well and very attentive. Overall, we had such a great time and I'm really looking forward to coming back!

Although I arrived at 9:20 PM, I found the host stand unattended. Despite the "wait here to be seated" sign, no one greeted me for fifteen minutes. At 9:35 PM, I entered the dining room to find assistance. While an associate acknowledged my reservation and offered to set up the table, he never returned to get me. I eventually had to return to the dining area to flag someone down again before my group was finally seated at 9:45 PM. On a positive note, the ambiance and decor were excellent. Our waiter, Nello, was personable and funny, significantly improving our experience. Regarding the food, we found the teriyaki tacos and the bang bang tempura cauliflower to be underwhelming. The oxtail fried rice was flavorful, though it contained very little meat. I wanted to bring these front-of-house delays to your attention, as they stood in contrast to the great atmosphere and service provided by Nello.

The first floor lounge is underneath the chandelier and serves different cocktails than the second floor bar where you sit beside the chandelier. We read the 2nd floor bar cocktails were more champagne focused - so we walked up to the hostess on a Tuesday evening around 8:30 and were sat promptly. The ambience was beautiful. We ordered a Cosmo and The Better Bellini. Expect Vegas prices, but we really enjoyed both cocktails. Our server Chelsea was super nice!

On our way upstairs, we stopped to order the famous drink with the flower. It's not even on the menu, but it's apparently their best-selling cocktail. The bartenders were exactly what you'd expect from a high-end Vegas bar--friendly, polished, and effortlessly cooler than you'll ever be. Service was excellent. Then came the bill. Twenty-five dollars buys you what is essentially a shot-sized margarita served in a tiny glass with enough crushed ice to sink the Titanic. Take a sip. Now eat the flower. The flower tastes like a New York City rat's backside and leaves your mouth pleasantly... or unpleasantly... numb. Then comes the big reveal. "Now taste the drink again. Totally different, right?" They're absolutely right. It does taste completely different. Now it tastes like you licked the floor of a subway station. I'm impressed. Final Verdict This is one of those Vegas experiences you're supposed to try once. Once is enough. Save yourself $25. Lick a toilet seat, gently headbutt the stall door, and tell yourself you just had the Chandelier Bar experience. Bon appétit.

I opted for a comfier lounge chair next to the bar and checked out the menu on the table. When I was ready to order, I went up to the bar. Which, if you've been to bars in general, they happily take your order and you wait and bring the drinks back to your seat. Well not at Vesper. Went up ready to order and the bartender asked where we were seated and said a waitress would come by and that we couldn't order with him. We sat, we waited 15-20 mins and no one came around. We waited long enough and decided it wasn't worth our money. If trying to get an order in was this difficult, can't imagine what the rest of the service is like.

I sat for around 15 minutes waiting for service and then walked up to the bar instead to order drinks. He rejected my offer and said the waitress would take my order and to return back to my seat. The waitress has not come around. she has been standing in the corner looking at nothing for the past 20 minutes.

More please, indeed…read more Mas Por Favor Taqueria y Tequila is a taco shop and speakeasy in the massive and often cramped Center on Spring Mountain strip mall. It's closer to the Valley View end and can actually be easy to park at in the afternoon if you're going for happy hour as I did (available Monday all day, and 3-6pm on other days). I wasn't quite sure where to go so I asked an employee up front about doing happy hour drinks, and he showed me into a long hallway dressed up like a mining tunnel. At the far end was the door into the bar area, which was pretty empty mid-afternoon until some other parties joined me. I sat at the bar and looked over the menu a bit then placed my order. First out was my happy hour cocktail. I chose the Mas Dog 20/20 ($8.00 happy hour)), which sounded like a decent if very fruity gin cocktail and came out pretty sweet and very fruit-forward. Turns out it's inspired by something called MD 20/20, which sounds like malt liquor but for people who need it to be sweet. It was actually pretty decent to sip on but isn't the best match for what I ate, and I ended up squeezing limes into water. The food came out all at once. I really wanted to try the Elotes ($3.00 HH), a delicious creamed corn app topped with crushed Hot Cheetos. It's actually a really addictive dish and one of the most fun bites of the whole thing. I also tried one of each taco available on the current happy hour menu. The two Street Tacos ($3.00 HH) were both solid, with barbacoa serving as the more delicious beef option while the carnitas were actually not as dry as other versions I've had. The mild green salsa and somewhat more medium-ish smoky orange salsa were both great complements to both of these. I enjoyed these, and one of the other tacos, despite the stone cold tortillas they were served on. The two Signature Tacos ($4.00 HH) were a little more dichotomous. I loved the Muy Caliente with its al pastor, chipotle sauce, jack cheese, and Hot Cheetos crumbles. The Gringo, on the other hand, was as boring as or worse than the archetype of the white person taco, with no crispy shell or tomato to help with the monotony. Luckily, I had some lime and salsas to play with, so I wasn't bored to death. I enjoyed the speakeasy area. It wasn't too dim, especially at the bar, and the favorite weapon of the T's in Counter-Strike was on full display behind said bar. There was a mariachi-sounding song being played when I first got in, but they inexplicably moved on to what I later realized was a music video playlist from the top of the aughts, aka my formative years listening to top 40 / pop / hip hop. Quite the nostalgia trip, especially when I later found out that my bartender and the couple who also decided to sit at the bar were from my hometown. I would come back to Mas Por Favor for happy hour, maybe Taco Tuesday, and definitely some of the other interesting signature tacos on their regular menu. It may not be the most comprehensively awesome spot, but it's at least a pretty solid option for eats and drinks.
