    Restaurant interior with live jazz
    Dane R.

I've visited Forke three times -- two dinners and one brunch -- so this review reflects some context rather than a single visit. The rating here is primarily based on the dinner experience during this visit, which ended up being the strongest overall experience I've had here so far. For context, their brunch is also worth mentioning. The Croque Madame is excellent and easily one of the better brunch dishes I've had locally. Brunch and dinner feel like somewhat different experiences here, though, so this review focuses on the dinner menu and service. The atmosphere that evening added to the experience. A live jazz band was performing in the dining room, creating a lively but relaxed energy without overwhelming conversation. The restaurant also includes a speakeasy-style bar area tucked into the space, which gives the layout a bit more character than a typical neighborhood bistro. What Forke does particularly well is maintain attentive hospitality while operating with a relatively small dining room team. In many restaurants at this scale, limited staffing leads to uneven pacing or slow service. Here, the staff managed the room smoothly while keeping courses moving at a comfortable pace. The escargot showed the kitchen's technical approach. The snails had the correct firm-tender texture. At first the seasoning seemed slightly light, but it became clear that the issue was less about seasoning and more about how escargot behaves in the shell. Much of the garlic butter remains inside the shell rather than coating the snail evenly once removed. When the remaining sauce was poured over the bread, the flavor was actually quite pronounced. One escargot proved difficult to remove from the shell, and the staff immediately took the plate back to crack the shell and return it properly. Small moments like that often reveal whether service is merely functional or genuinely attentive. The duck confit reinforced the sense that the kitchen understands the fundamentals of the dish. The skin had the crispness expected from a properly finished confit, and the meat showed the range of textures typical of the preparation -- some sections deeply tender, others slightly firmer but still rich from the slow cooking process. The sauce leaned slightly sweet, which initially felt light relative to the potatoes, but when eaten together with the green beans and shallots the dish balanced out well. Dessert was a lemon tart topped with fruit and meringue. Once the fruit was eaten separately, the structure of the dessert became clearer. The filling was silky and dense, somewhere between a curd and a custard, with acidity that remained bright without being overly sharp. The meringue softened the tartness without muting it. Service ultimately distinguished the evening. Despite a small team, water was refilled without prompting, pacing between courses was handled well, and the server checked in at appropriate moments without interrupting the meal. The owner was also present greeting guests and checking on tables, creating a sense that the restaurant is actively engaged with the dining room. The staff were also accommodating about seating. When asked where I would prefer to sit, I mentioned that I was dining with my service dog and would appreciate a cooler spot with better airflow. The owner helped arrange a table in an area with a stronger draft, which made the space noticeably more comfortable. In comparison with other local French bistros I've visited, the service here felt particularly proactive. Many restaurants are efficient and polite, but fewer actively monitor the table and step in quickly when small issues arise. There were minor imperfections. The bread service at the beginning could be improved -- the bread became dry fairly quickly and the butter was too cold to spread easily. In a French-style restaurant, bread often signals early execution, so it stood out. Taken together, the meal demonstrated a kitchen that understands its fundamentals and a dining room that pays close attention to its guests. While there were small technical imperfections, the combination of thoughtful cooking, generous portions, attentive service, and an engaging atmosphere created a well-rounded dining experience. Based on this dinner visit, Forke earns five stars.

Great food and service. The restaurant is a hidden gem and we loved the interior. Checked out the speakeasy with a drink in hand, great area to unwind before or after dinner. My fave cocktail was forke me long time (vodka based) They change their menu depends on the season and ingredients available. The caprese tastes so fresh. The seared salmon has that crispy skin that you want more of. The duck steak is a must try. The best we ever had. The lemon tart is a perfect ending to a great meal Kudos to Jerome and Chef Miguel. Congratulations on your new restaurant

Forke has been doing a lot of advertising on Facebook, and I decided to give this new place a try. I went last night for a 5:15 reservation but got there just after 5. I was shown to an area nearer the bar toward the back and was able to choose any table I wanted. I chose the one in the cortner. Soon a server came by, introduced himself, asked my name, and then filled my water glass and asked about anything else to drink. I then was given a menu. It was then that I knew I had a problem. The area I was in is very dark, so dark in fact that I could discern no printing on the pages of the menu. I was the old man who had to use the camera flashlight to be able to read the menu. I first saw the Gourmand menu, a prix fixe menu with some choices for each course. I glanced at the à la carte section but I didn't spend much time trying to read it while holding my phone. Instead, I decided to have the prix fixe Gourmand dinner. For the first course, I chose the escargots. The menu said they were in the shell, but in fact, they were not. They were in a standard escargots dish which was fine with me.l They were large, tasty gems and the garlic, parsley butter enhanced my enjoyment of them. For the main course, I chose Beef Bourguignon. My server poured the sauce over the ingredients of the bowl. He left a small pitcher with some suace if i wanted more. The broth was rich and very flavorful! Now, if I could have seen the dish, it would have enhanced my enjoyment of the Bourguignon as seeing your food is a part of enjoying your food. But, alas, I could not see except that there was a bowl on the table. For dessert, I got the raspberry doughnut cheesecake. Despite its name, it was a good cheesecake but had no obvious link to doughnuts. Perhaps the crust was made from crushed dougnnuts. There were two swirls of syrup on the plate and a sliced strawberry (no raspberries as one would expect.) In sum, the dinner was very good. The restaurant is somewhat in two sections. The entrance where the host stand is and a rear section where the bar is. The rear is UNCOMFORTABLY dark. I would recommend getting a table in the front section where there's a ball chandelier. When the bill came, on with the flashlight again., After a short wait with my credit card in the bill tray, my server brought a table paying machine. It listed the total and had 3 tip amounts plus a custom one on the lighted (at last) screen. I chose the tip and tapped the reader. Nothing happened. Eventually, I figured out that you have to insert your card in a slot on the front of the unit. The charge went through and it printed a long receipt. It was only when I got home that I realized that the sheet expelled from the machine was a receipt for me and one for the restaurant with a place for my signature all in one long strip of thin paper. (If you want your receipt and my signature, I still have the sheet!) If Yelp and a half star system, I would give this 3.5 stars. I have made it four. Service was excellent and everyone was very friendly and accommodating. And, the food reminded me of the Beef Bourguignon I had at Le Train Bleu in Paris. But, something needs to be done with the lighting. It is unacceptable the weay it is. My apologies for my photos. Al were taken with the flash. If not, you would see nothing. When I got home I was able to view my entrée.

I've always appreciated when new restaurants breathe life into older neighborhoods, and Forke is a great example of that quiet revitalization. We brought an out‑of‑state couple here for an off‑Strip dining experience, and while we weren't exactly surprised, we certainly weren't disappointed either. The food was on point across all four courses, and the service felt sincere and genuinely warm, even if the team is still ironing out a few wrinkles. The only real hiccup was a slightly slow kitchen during the evening rush, but that's the kind of growing pain I fully expect them to smooth out as the restaurant finds its rhythm. The space itself is fascinating. It feels like a former wedding venue or event hall that's been thoughtfully transformed into a stylish, modern dining room. There's a discreet bar tucked away in the back, and rumor has it there's also a speakeasy hidden somewhere--possibly behind the prominent bookshelf I noticed along the wall. It adds a sense of playful mystery to the whole experience. Five stars for the effort and for delivering unfussy, focused dining without pretense. Entrées were priced surprisingly reasonably for this day and age, and the quality of the ingredients really shone through. Highly recommended--even for tourists staying on the Strip. It's not far, it's far more affordable than the mega‑resort options, and it offers a refreshing change of pace from the usual Vegas dining circuit.

Dear FORKE Team, As longtime Las Vegas locals and enthusiastic supporters of new restaurants, we were genuinely excited to dine with you on a recent Saturday evening. The abundance of five-star reviews made us even more eager to experience what everyone was raving about. Because you've only been open three weeks, we want to share this feedback constructively in the hope that it helps you refine operations and ultimately succeed in a very competitive dining city. Unfortunately, our experience did not reflect the level suggested by those reviews. We were seated directly by the front door, which did not fully close, making the table uncomfortably cold. When we politely asked to move to one of the visibly open tables, we were told no. It then took approximately 20 minutes for anyone to greet us and take our drink order. A small basket of sliced bread was delivered, but no bread plates were provided, so we awkwardly ate over the table itself. Small details like this matter, especially at a steakhouse price point. Our drinks arrived about 20 minutes later -- nearly 40 minutes after being seated. The lychee martini was flavorful but noticeably underfilled. The mule lacked the expected ginger beer bite and tasted flat. Throughout the evening, water refills and follow-up check-ins were slow. To be clear, our server was polite and consistently apologetic -- not just to us, but to multiple tables. We observed him apologizing repeatedly throughout the dining room. When we asked whether you were understaffed, he shared that you were fully staffed, which made the service delays more concerning. The crab cake appetizer was deeply disappointing. It appeared heavily breaded and deep-fried in oil, and we genuinely struggled to find any crab inside (photos attached). We appreciated that it was removed from the bill. For entrées, the foie gras burger was described as "decent." The steak au poivre was cooked to the correct medium rare temperature, which we appreciated. However, it was covered with an overwhelming amount of whole peppercorns -- enough to dominate the dish and make it difficult to finish. Perhaps most concerning was that both tables seated beside us were also dissatisfied -- one guest disputing a non-itemized bill and another table complaining about food quality and wait times. Hearing similar feedback around us made us question how our experience aligned with the overwhelmingly positive reviews we had read. We fully understand that new restaurants have growing pains. However, in Las Vegas, consistency, pacing, and execution are everything -- especially at this price point. We truly hope you take this experience into consideration so that you can refine operations and build a reputation that reflects the promise suggested by those early five-star reviews. We want new local restaurants to succeed. We hope you tighten service flow, bar execution, and kitchen balance so that future guests experience what we were hoping for.

Perfect new location for date night. Customer service and food was 10 out of 10. Had the chance to meet the owner and his son, who was working that night. Lots of young professional staff members were very kind and great at what they do. Our waiter was great too. The hostess showed us the speakeasy upon entering, who doesn't love a secret speakeasy? The food was great from start to finish. The Caesar salad, oysters, sea bass, lobster tail, and mashed potatoes were all 10/10. Definitely try this new local restaurant, you won't be disappointed. The drinks were delicious too.

Tried Forke on Mother's Day and what a beautiful brunch! They had live music in their outdoor seating area and the food was amazing! I wish I could remember our waiters name but he was amazing! The owner made sure to say hi and ask how things were. I will definitely be going back!

A delightful surprise at this French American restaurant. The food was perfect, service was attentive and the ambience was elegant. I look forward to brunch next Sunday. I forgot some pictures.

Google maps will route you to the back of the complex but if you go to the front closest to Sahara that is where the restaurant is located. This place was amazing. Our service was spot on. One of the best we have experienced. Sever was Jared and Andy was our busser. For drinks my husband had a double Jameson but they have a selection of Macallan. For drinks I had the Parisian Jewel, Death in the Afternoon and Forke Me Long Time, the Forke Me Long Time was my favorite. For appetizers we had the beef carpaccio and the foie gras. Both were amazing. The beef carpaccio was served with a salad to cut through the beef. For our mains we had the hanger steak, filet and mash potatoes and mushrooms. The sides did not disappointment and were better than other steakhouses we have had in the valley. Dessert we had the apple tart and chocolate Lava cake. Both were delicious. They also have to two optional prefix menus for $75 or $125, respectively. They have a speakeasy behind a bookcase that you can sit and relax in. The vibe of the entire restaurant was relaxed and clean.

An unforgettable culinary journey awaits. Mastering just five ingredients, the chef creates explosive flavors in every dish. My experience was nothing short of perfection--from the bright, buttery oysters to the expertly cooked steak, complemented by handcrafted cocktails. A special moment was when the owner graciously shared his mother's recipe for crème brûlée, a dessert that was light, delicate, and decadently rich all at once. The service was impeccable, reminiscent of a meal lovingly crafted by your great-grandmother. My only regret is not discovering this gem sooner. Thank you for sharing today with us. You and your team are culinary perfection. Thank you, Stephanisia

These guys are brand new! Trying to get a following serving "French-American" cuisine aka, French dishes with American size portions. We started off with a quick tour of the speakeasy, which I think could be a fun place for a Happy Hour when they're in full flow. We tried some "truffle fries": potato "chips" with truffle oil, delicious. For the meal, we tried a selection of traditional French favorites: Caesar salad and beef tartare for a starter, then steak au poivre, steak frites, surf and turf, and duck "steak". All tasted great and presented beautifully! For dessert we tried the classic crème brûlée, a cheesecake and our friend got a free chocolate torte for her birthday. They also gifted us free blue cocktails, which was well appreciated! I have a few comments however, which I hope they will find constructive : a sharper steak knife would be helpful for those who ordered the meat. Also I noticed a few romaine leaves in my Caesar salad were wilting a bit. I've recently had a problem at a different restaurant in Vegas where they served Caesar salad with a dressing that didn't contain anchovies, so glad to say that this one absolutely did! You really need anchovies to carry some umami into the dressing, glad to take note of that. We can safely say that we will be back, especially with "coming soon" dishes such as boeuf Bourgignon and Tarte Tatin Good luck to Forke!

Restaurant just opened 5 minutes from the strip. Decor was great, plenty of parking and the food was delicious. We ordered every appetizer and thoroughly enjoyed every dish. The mozzarella tomato and truffle fries were two of my favorites. All their meat dishes were spot on, the duck had a lot of flavor, the foie gras burger was probably my favorite as it was so juicy and creamy. Capped it off with creme brûlée and donut cheesecake which was perfect way to finish a delicious meal. Will definitely be back.

When a friend came into town and wanted to celebrate her boyfriend's birthday, I thought it would be the perfect place to kick off our evening. I was able to make an online reservation just a couple of days in advance, which was quick and painless. What I didn't realize was that they offer a weekday happy hour and live music! We were seated in "Bull***t Corner," which turned out to be the perfect spot. We had a great view of both the bar and the entertainment, making for a lively and entertaining atmosphere. Also, can't forget to mention the service. The hosts were fun but our actual server was absolutely hysterical and fit right in with the fun. She kept us laughing throughout our visit, while also being incredibly attentive. Despite the busy atmosphere, she made sure our drinks were flowing, checked on us regularly, and made sure everything was taken care of. It's not often you find someone who can be both entertaining and genuinely great at their job, but she pulled it off effortlessly. Our guests were genuinely impressed, and everyone had a fantastic time. The drinks were excellent as always--I honestly don't think I've ever had a bad cocktail here. I haven't had the chance to try their food yet, and we decided to stick with a few drinks since we already had dinner reservations elsewhere, but after this visit, I definitely plan on coming back on a weeknight to order from the food menu. If you're looking for a fun, unique Vegas experience with great drinks, and plenty of personality, The Golden Tiki is always a solid choice.

Caught the happy hr and enjoyed the piranha punch and a pina colada. Love the starry sky and the bathroom decor. Just see for yourself. Even though I like ginger I wasn't a fan od the scorpion drink. The bartenders were upbeat and welcoming and made grest drinks. It can get packed so if you need a table call ahead for a reservation or get a first come first serve seat at the bar.

We were sat at a super cute table (there were 4 of us) and looked through the menu. The decor was super cute! Sort of old vintage looking couches around some tables, dim lighting, I loved the vibe. We each ordered something different from their cocktail menu from our very nice server. While waiting for those, our friend went to close out the tab and ordered shots, but asked for something that would be good. They proceeded to give us something with muddled strawberries, I was blown away at how good it was! Best shot I have ever had, so fresh. I love when you give bartenders freedom to play and create something so good! Our cocktails were so interesting and very tasty. I'd love to come back when we have some more time and try some of the other drinks. Everything about this place was amazing to me! Vibe, staff, the drinks, I had a great time!

The indoor space is sexy and dark, beautifully designed with lots of velvet and rich textures all around. In a cool contrast, the back patio is a bright, vibrant mix of pink, turquoise, and white. While you're out there, be sure to snap a picture in their photo booth! The staff here is simply INCREDIBLE! They are always so welcoming and do a fantastic job of helping walk you through the menu. Because the cocktail menu changes frequently with unique, rotating themes, you get a completely fresh experience every single time you visit. On my last trip, the theme was music through different eras of time, which was easily one of my favorites yet. They also have standard house cocktails, be sure to check out the punch of the day! Before you leave, don't forget to check out their cool merch and swag, which is beautifully framed up on the wall right behind the bar. No matter where you are staying in Vegas, make sure to put Velveteen Rabbit at the very top of your destination list!

Sure, it is known; however, it was surprisingly not that busy for a Friday. We were seated at a shell like booth and this space between the back side of the Players Club and the Cash cage, is a lovely and elegant place. Is it expensive? yes. Most other fine establishments are also expensive in Vegas. It is what it has become. Is that good? Probably not; however, it does give you the opportunity to experience something unique and special. Although we had one server, the servers worked very well together throughout our 90 minutes here and really team assisted with each other. Between the two of us, we had three drinks. You can page through the very detailed menu, and I decided to have the Passion's Serenade drink, which was a glass partially frozen with a coconut and passionfruit puree and then also had some chocolate rum, vanilla and fresno chili. It was a delicious drink, and actually was a great "sit back and wait" drink, because it took a while for the frozen portion to melt. The experience comes with some complimentary bar snacks and then some complimentary mini jello shots on the way out. The check is presented in an exquisite "Vault" Type of book. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would return again in the future. Expect drink prices to range from about $30 to $70, with some even higher for the "market price" drinks.

We've have awesome experiences watching bartenders before AND we were determined to stay so we happily agreed. Paisley was a delight to chat with as we waited for only 10 minutes while seats opened up for us at the bar. I also got to check out the restroom, which boasts a high tech toilet with automated opening/flushing and a heated seat! We had the pleasure of meeting Michael our bartender and Yesi the bartender apprentice, and regulars Bill and Kim from Texas on one side of us, and Mario from California on the other as we spent the next hour and half savoring one luxury cocktail each and some complimentary snacks (seasoned pistachio nuts, cheesy crackers, and a little amazing bite that I can't remember the ingredients of). Welcome complimentary drinks: "Key to my heart" -- fun little rum drinks to start off with served in a spherical black case surrounded by dry ice! (See video). A bit sweet for my taste but tasty and just a little shot's worth (to be sipped). Cocktails: La Vie En Rose: (5/5) Rose infused gin, house made strawberry infused sweet vermouth, aperol, orange essence. Gorgeous spherical ice cube with a real flower frozen inside). Described as a summer Negroni. I chose it because I love Negronis and am always up for trying a variation on a classic like that. The Fountain (5/5): bourbon, Punt e mes vermouth (55 year old bottle!), orange essence. The Vault's take on the classic Manhattan. Michael gave us a taste of the punt e mes sweet vermouth and it was sublime. Both spectacular cocktails were definitely made for sipping and savoring. And to top it off! Little espresso shots at the end....mmm delectable dessert my bites to complete a flawless experience. We'll be back! Michael is a masterful mixologist and Yesi is an awesome apprentice! Highly recommend!
