A little far from me but wow was the drive worth it. Nittayas Secret Kitchen is hitting all the notes when it comes to flavor. Inside was warm, inviting and clean. Service was super friendly and attentive. I loved that they had a tapas style menu, along with their traditional menu so we could try more dishes. Everything we ate was delicious. The pork belly and apple salad is a must get. Super crispy skin pork belly paired with a bright and spicy crispy apple salad. $18 10/10. Must get. Volcano shrimp $16 with a spicy sauce was really delicious. Crying baby tiger $18 with tender steak and flavorful sauce was perfect. Garlic spare ribs $16 was good but a little dry. It came with the same sauce as the volcano shrimp, so for us it was a miss. To finish off the meal the Thai donuts $9 with the caramel coconut sauce was incredible. 10/10. The donuts were light and airy and paired well with the yummy sauce. We didn't order their signature fried spinach salad as we had it before at their sister restaurant Block 9. My friend and I were really excited to try this spot since it's highly rated & she loves Thai food. The decor is nice, with fresh flowers on the tables & a nice wine selection on display. It gives a slightly more upscale vibe than your typical casual Thai restaurant. Unfortunately, the service did not match the aesthetic. After we were seated, it took over 10 minutes for someone to approach our table to offer water. Also, throughout the meal, there seemed to be confusion about who was helping us. We had to ask multiple people about the mocktail options before getting a clear answer. There's no menu for the cocktails/mocktails; they have to be read off to you. I opted for the Mango Blossom mocktail & my friend ordered the Hibiscus Ginger mocktail. We both enjoyed our drinks. Our food came out separately. My friend received her garlic rice first, & I got my Yum Naked Shrimp. Her steak & chicken satay were brought several minutes later, & then came my Tamarind Shrimp. A bit after that, I got my sticky rice. Her garlic rice was cold by the time she got her proteins. She'd also asked for her steak to be medium well, but it came out pinker than expected. When she mentioned it saying she'd like it cooked longer, the staff member who'd delivered the food said he'd get our server. He did not take the plate with him. I think he forgot. After quite some time, our server came by to check on us. My friend brought the steak to her attention. The server did offer to have it re-cooked, but at that point we were almost done eating. She chose not have the steak re-cooked. It was removed from our bill, which was appreciated. Flavor-wise, she said the garlic rice was fire & the chicken satay was good. I enjoyed my shrimp. The overall concept is interesting because there are more tapas than entrees, so I'd say this is a good place for groups to share different dishes. Our total came to about $82 for our 2 mocktails, 3 tapas, and 2 side dishes of rice. The food was flavorful & the presentation was nice, but the inconsistent service made the experience frustrating. Finally had a chance to try this place after years and years of putting it off but service was not attentive. I came on a fairly dead dinner service where there were probably around 3 other tables. Took about 10 minutes to get my drink order in but at that point the beer on tap they had was out which was fine, got something else on draft and ordered. Throughout the night service was just not great. Being able to mostly grab the bussers attention than our server. Fried Spinach: The portions are huge, basically like little tempura spinach chips. It was alright Phuket Poppers: these were pretty good but they're more like phuket bombs. Pretty big pieces but it was good! Crying Tiger Steak: This was so good. It was very tender. Some of the items are deep fried in crack cocaine and I'm already jonesing for my next visit Best bites: Deep fried spinach salad is a drug. I'm quite sure we've been through every Thai restaurant here in town at least twice over the years. We have never reviewed any of those but we're committed to upping our game! Everyone seems to have a favorite and there are qualities to all of them, but Nittaya's is ours. Full disclosure we are normally here during dinners with parties of 8-10 people, never for lunch so we enjoyed being here during a slow period on a Monday. We love the food here, the papaya salad is a must get and make sure you order it spicy. The pad Thai is super, the garlic spare ribs and eggplant are all so fabulous!. Finally decided to try this highly rated Thai place for some tapas. The ambiance is fairly light and quiet, not very noisy, which is nice for a typical date night. Service was okay, not amazing as we kept having to ask for water and order randomly. Here is what we got: 1. Spinach Chips: famous for and absolutely crispy and delicious. The lime dressing on the side was a must and held so much flavor. The ground chicken chunks was nice too. 2. Crispy Pork Belly: this was the favorite dish of the night. Super tender and full of flavor 3. Corn Fritters: super dry and not very flavorful, just chalk-y 4. Masala Curry with Tofu: this was great, but not amazing. It has a strong peanut taste and was filling. 5. Pad Thai with Chicken: this was okay, the noodles were super dry and didn't have a ton of flavor. Desserts: 1. Prices listed as (Happy Hour/regular menu); food portions were reported as identical between the two menus. BBQ Thai Wings ($8/$15): 3x flats, 2x drumsticks of decent size, juicy meat that was easy to strip from the bone, perfect amount of sauce on the crisped skin to deliver flavor without excessive goopiness. Came with a finger bowl of mildly spicy and tasty dipping sauce; liked it enough, and was of sufficient amount, to save for my next plate, the Bacon Wrapped Shrimp ($8/$14): Four pieces on two skewers like barbells. Bacon very crunchy but chewable wrapped triple around a sufficiently-sized crustacean, which retained its snappy bite. The sweet/citrus pineapple sauce (offered either on the shrimp or on the side) was yummy. Both plates adorned with a small shredded veggie salad topped by a knife-cut orange "flower". Staff were friendly and came by often to check in or refill drinks. We had potstickers, shrimp lettuce wraps and pork belly for apps. Then we had shrimp pad Thai, Pad Z U, BBQ chicken, steak with a side of rice, and drinks. I don't get a pic of everything. Food is very good. I have been here many times but today service was slow and when I ordered and asked for more water that never came I went to the bar for more. When I got my bill I saw I was charged more for my wine then the menu said and the waitress said they were out of the wine I ordered so she ordered a more expensive wine for me with out asking then just charged me for the higher price. First off the food is pretty good, the prices are a bit on the high side for Tapas and the main course. What surprised me is there wine pours are very small around 4oz when the other restuarant they own pours a 5 oz. They charge way too much for wine per glass and the corkage fee is $30 dollars way above other places I go to. The staff is very nice. Just a follow up on my review. I was working on my expenses and realized I made a mistake on the total amount including tip. I thought the 6 was an 8 and did the math wrong. I realized the server recalculated the total and reduced the total charge accordingly. I wouldn't have even noticed if I was charged the larger amount. Kudos to an honest staff. This place is cute! A friend recommended this place so we went out for a girls night dinner and we were impressed with this place! We made reservations ahead of time and got seated right away. The table decor is very nice and looks great. Only thing was with 4 of us, there was not a lot of room on the table once the food started coming. Between our drinks and extra plates, it got a little crowded, but the staff was great at taking things that weren't being used. For drinks we got the room temp sake, the strawberry cloud sake, and then a sangria pitcher. They were all very tasty! They only have wine and sake on the menu but there are tons of choices within those categories. The strawberry cloud is creamy and sweet and cold. But it was dangerously good and went down too easy. We started off with the crab rolls, fried pork belly, curry puffs, and Summerlin rolls. The crab rolls came with a sweet glaze sauce - similar to a crab wonton, but with real crab meat instead of imitation. the fried pork belly came with curry sauce that was good with a little heat, the curry puffs were delicious and flaky, highly recommend the crab rolls, the coconut soup and the curry puffs. For dinner we all got something different and shared. We got the FOPB "fresh off the pineapple boat" fried rice with chicken which was so good! We also got the Bangkok fried rice with the fried egg, and the chicken pad Thai that was amazing!! Prob my favorite of them all! My vegan friend got the tofu curry with potatoes and she said it was delicious! It looked really good but I didn't get a chance to try it lol. I highly recommend this place! Everything here is good!! The very first time we ordered to-go I asked why the total was about $25 more than we were expecting and they said prices went up but they have not published them. They were tasty so we forgave them and returned many more times. However--Two visits ago when we ordered to-go we had short rib curry spice level 4 and a vegetarian massaman curry spice level 1. They reversed the spice levels on our curries even tho we only had two items in the order. We were so mad we didn't return for about a year. We tried again last week and they forgot to include our rice for the curries into our order-- I figured they stopped including rice "for free" but online ordering says it's included. Also half of the short rib curry beef was all fat. Wish I could undo our $20 tip we left for them. At their prices they need to have more diligence and take more care. But if you're visiting with a group of people, they have several tapas/small plates which are great to share. We tried the pot stickers, muay thai fried rice and drunken noodle. Spice levels are 1-5. We went with 2 and it was plenty hot. Overall, the entrees had good flavor but were a little over sauced. Portion sizes were perfect for one meal, however for the price point I would've hoped to have plenty to take for left overs as is par for the course at other Thai restaurants. read more

So happy to finally dine and enjoy their new location. It is right around the corner from the old location so still convenient. This place serves my kind of Thai food. I met up with my dear friend and we decided to share all of our plates. We ordered the Chicken Satay, Golden Pouches, Shrimp Lettuce Wraps, and the World Famous Spinach Salad. Everything was so delicious and no complaints on service. Our server was very attentive, helpful and always around to remove empty plates. I could not get enough of the spinach salad and what a unique way to serve it. The lime dressing is just so tasty. Great ambiance inside although not as intimate as the old location.
