3.5 rounded up to 4 for good service. I used to frequent Pan Asian years ago and remember the food being next level delicious. Truly elevated Thai cuisine unlike anything I've tasted anywhere, including in Thailand. I came back recently after being away for a while and unfortunately the ownership has changed and the food isn't the same anymore. The Thai dishes were just.. not quite right. While the flavors were good, my Pad Thai was overly saucy almost to the point of being soggy. It's supposed to be a stir fry, not pasta with sauce. Same with the fried rice, it just seemed too wet making the texture seem sort of, idk, mushy? Usually I'm not too picky about texture but in this case it was noticeable. The seasoning and flavors were actually very good though, I could taste the coconut cream in the fried rice and they didn't skimp on the protein at all. There was plenty of chicken and shrimp. Everything was fresh and hot. The Thai tea was ok, a little watery but still sweet with a nice strong tea flavor. The ambiance is nice and intimate. It's not a large space but they've done a good job of making it feel elegant and inviting. The service was also very good and friendly. The owner was so nice - it's the kind of small business I would love to support. The restaurant now features a specialized Sri Lankan menu which I would consider going back to try. Perhaps I just ordered the wrong dishes - this is probably not the spot for authentic Thai dishes, but based on the flavors my take is their Sri Lankan menu is likely worth a try.

Couldn't get ourselves to finish the food... noodles overall was very dry and seemed old... flavors were quite not there either. Mango sticky rice seemed like condensed milk poured over old rice last minute which was terrible. My kids usually love mango sticky rice and after their first bite, all my kids stopped eating. Perhaps bc this was doordash order and not sit down restaurant food it tastes completely different than other reviews on yelp? I should've just gone with our usual weera... sry but not sry. This was not a good experience.

Best food in town! Love this spot, the food, and the team here; great all around! I have visited several times over the last many years and every time this place is great and leaves me craving more. During my last visit, our group shared several dishes and all were so tasty. I particularly loved the Malaysian Rotti starter, spicy basil beef, and the ribs. Usually I default to one of their curries (usually the panang). Definitely must try

We were back again at Pan Asian Thai - Sri Lankan Cuisine last week, and it seems they are now serving a fully halal menu. Alhamdulillah! The last time we visited was in 2024, and it was wonderful to return. The restaurant was clean, comfortable, and had a welcoming atmosphere. We were warmly greeted by Pavi, who was very polite, attentive, and knowledgeable when we had questions about the menu. Arjuna enjoyed his chicken satay, Mum had the drunken noodles, and I was craving fried noodles, so I opted for the chow mein with just eggs and extra spicy. Sis ordered the chicken wonton soup, and we also shared some gyoza. Everything arrived fresh, hot, and beautifully prepared. Every dish was delicious and satisfying. It was also nice to see Chand, whom we first met in 2024. We enjoyed catching up with him, and we appreciated him checking on us while we savored our meal. A big thank you to Pavi, the new owner, and Chand for their warm hospitality and for making this place fully halal. Great food, excellent service, and friendly people always make for a wonderful dining experience. We will definitely be back again. Highly recommended!

Chicken kothu with cheese

Super cozy and a wonderful place to be able to try Sri Lankan food. The waiter was super friendly and explained the Sri Lankan menu with lots of detail to us. I ordered two dishes: the chicken with cheese kothu and the sampler that came with string hoppers, chicken curry, and pol sambol. All dishes with max spice level, of course. The dish came out and smelled amazing and looked even better at first glance. The first bite was not disappointing at all; I loved every single thing on the plate. My favorite had to be the chicken curry and the chicken kothu, though the kothu was chewy but still packed with flavor, and paired with the chicken curry, it was amazing to try. The pol sambol (which I believe is made from coconut) had a decent spice to it and an interesting, refreshing flavor that went well with the string hoppers. Do not be afraid to try Sri Lankan food if it is your first time, like it was mine; the waiter and chef put so much love into their cuisine that you would not walk out of this place with a frown on your face. I would definitely recommend the chicken kothu with the chicken curry on the side!

Coconut Shrimp & Chicken Satay

This place is such a hidden gem! The food was amazing First, I gotta shout out Pavi who, during our dinner, was our host, waiter, and chef all at once. I respect the hustle We ordered coconut shrimp and chicken satay appetizers. The satay sauce was delicious and spicy but not too much. I even dipped my coconut shrimp in that sauce. The chicken was moist and flavorful. The yellow curry with beef had so much depth of flavor, the beef was tender and soft. The fried rice was cooked to perfection. This place is honestly one of the best thai food restaurants I've had here in Vegas. The ambiance could use some work only because there wasn't any music playing in the dining room, but not completely necessary. The food was so good and the service was amazing that it didn't even matter. 10/10 would recommend

Chicken satay and coconut shrimp

First time here with my sister and son. We noticed it was clean and homey. They greeted us and were always on top of service. We ordered the coconut shrimp and chicken satay for appetizers and it was DELICIOUS! We loved the sauces! Then we had the chicken fried rice and yellow curry with beef... and OMG! The rice had amazing flavor and the curry... I'm a fan of curry and it was sooo good. We got it in mild and my son and I were able to tolerate it as we don't do too much spice in our foods. But it was sooo good!!! Thank you Pavi for amazing service! Will def tell friends about this place and take my husband here too.

After a hike, two of us drove to the Clark County Government Center Amphitheater in downtown Las Vegas. There was plenty of parking when we arrived. At this festival, you purchase cards in different denominations to be paid to buy food or merchandise. There was a table at each end of the food vendor area that sold the cards. I got $20 worth which came as one $10 card, one $5 card, and five $1 cards. The vendors give you change in cards so all money is handled in one area. My friend and I first walked along to look at all the food offerings. The vendors are under the canopy opposite the performing stage at the amphitheater. The first set you come to were all food vendors and the second set were all clothing, jewelry, and assorted services such as tarot readings and henna tattoos. After our walk, we headed back to the food vendors. We started with splitting an order of chicken momos that came with a tomato based dipping sauce that had some nice spice to it. That, along with some mango lassi, made for a good appetizer. The amphitheater has a large grassy area but we set up our lawn chairs under some trees for shade. After meeting another person, we went back and got some more lunch. I got an order of pani puri that was something I'd never tried before and it was very good and very filling. It was explained to me that this was Indian fast food. Before we left, we watched some of the Raas competition. We weren't close to the stage but it was better to stay out of the full sun and watch from our seats. I later learned that the Vaisakhi festival is a traditional Sikh spring harvest festival. I am certainly a fan of the festival and I'll be back next year.

The Indian Viasakhi Mala Festival had 5-6 local Indian restaurants selling lots of yummy food, there was vendors doing henna tattoos, demonstrating how to tie a turban, and had jewelry and clothes for sale. The entertainment was absolutely beautiful and the event coordinators did a great job. There was local and out of town performers singing and dancing, decked out in traditional Indian dress. I highly recommend next year attending the festival, it was a great outing for our family. And there's tikka masala, so, you know it's a good thing.
