I'm visiting from Texas and spending three days in Las Vegas. I had heard several people mention Weera Thai, so I decided to give it a try for dinner tonight--and I'm so glad I did! The food was absolutely delicious, and the service made the experience even better. Our server, Steve, was incredibly friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable, and attentive. I'm familiar with Larb, but I had never tried Duck Larb before. Steve recommended the Duck Larb, Sua Rong Hai, and Nam Khao Tod, along with a Thai beer. Everything was excellent, and the flavors paired together perfectly. The Nam Khao Tod was especially memorable! What really stood out was the hospitality. Before I left, Steve even took the time to recommend a few other places to visit during my trip, including a local dessert spot to try. Great food and genuinely warm service. This was one of the highlights of my trip so far. Thank you, Steve, for taking such great care of me and making my first visit so memorable. I absolutely loved my dining experience here! The food was incredibly delicious, especially the Pineapple Fried Rice and Moo Ping. Both dishes were flavorful and cooked to perfection. The Pineapple Fried Rice was a standout, and the Moo Ping was so tasty that I couldn't get enough! Although the prices were a little on the expensive side, everything was definitely worth it. The food was delicious, the portions were satisfying, and I left feeling full and happy. You truly get what you pay for! The customer service was also excellent. All the servers were friendly, welcoming, and attentive, especially Patty, who was so kind and made the dining experience even more enjoyable. Great service really makes a difference, and we truly appreciated the warm hospitality. The restaurant itself was beautiful, spotless, and very comfortable. Not allergy friendly - disappointing experience at Weera Thai for my baby and I. I went to Weera Thai Rainbow today with my sister, her husband, and their two kids. My daughter has multiple severe food allergies, including milk, wheat, egg, peanuts, tree nuts, sunflower, and sesame, so I prepare her food at home and bring it with me because there is often nothing on restaurant menus that can accommodate all her allergies. I spent about an hour preparing and packing her food, drove 30 minutes to meet my family, and ordered two entrees, a mocktail, and white rice for my daughter. My bill was around $70 just for myself. When the restaurant asked about allergies while taking our order, I disclosed hers and explained that she would be having the white rice. When they asked if we needed a plate for her, I told them I had brought one. Her food was a simple plated meal packed in a Ziploc bag, with our own silverware. I make her food myself because I know exactly what ingredients are in it and can control cross-contamination. White rice was the only thing on the menu that could accommodate her allergies. After my food arrived, I went out to my car to get her food. When I came back inside, I asked for gloves so I could handle everything safely. A man who appeared to be the manager stopped me at the entrance and told me I couldn't bring outside food into the restaurant. I explained that it was for my baby, who has multiple severe food allergies and cannot eat the restaurant's food. He apologized but continued to cite their no-outside-food policy. I even asked if I could bring her food inside and simply leave it on an empty chair because I didn't want it sitting in the car for another hour while everyone else ate. He eventually agreed to that, but after looking through the menu again, I realized there was nothing else my daughter could eat. I asked for the rest of my food and the check to go and left. I have over 15 years of experience in the food and beverage industry in Las Vegas, including working with fine-dining restaurants on the Strip and overseeing food and beverage operations. I understand restaurant policies, food costs, and the business reasons for not allowing outside food. But there is a difference between someone bringing food because they prefer it and a parent bringing a safe meal for a baby with multiple severe food allergies. What exactly am I supposed to do in this situation? Not feed my hungry baby while she's surrounded by people who can freely order and eat from the menu? I had already disclosed her allergies, ordered the only item she could have, and spent time preparing a meal I knew was safe for her. I'm not bringing outside food to avoid paying for a meal. I ordered two entrees, a drink, and rice, spending around $70 on myself alone. I was a paying customer trying to enjoy a meal with my family while making sure my baby could eat, too. For parents of children with severe food allergies, bringing food from home isn't about convenience or preference. It's about knowing exactly what our children are eating and minimizing the risk of cross-contamination that could cause a serious reaction requiring an EpiPen. I wasn't asking the restaurant to prepare anything special or take responsibility for food I had made myself. I was simply trying to feed my child. Hospitality is about more than enforcing policies. It also requires judgment and compassion when a customer's circumstances fall outside the norm. After spending an hour preparing her food and driving 30 minutes each way, I ended up packing up my own meal and leaving rather than being able to sit with my family and eat. I hope management reconsiders how situations like this are handled in the future. Families dealing with severe food allergies should be able to enjoy a meal together without having to fight to ensure their child has something safe to eat. read more

I was in Las Vegas to be a spectator at a pickleball tournament. Afterwards, I did take-out at Weera Thai. Just wanted the Papaya Salad. I placed my order online which was easy to manuever. I chose spice 2 level and I added shrimp (4) to the salad for $3.00 more. Huge lot with free parking shared with other businesses. At first sight, I was in awe and impressed with the restaurant's exterior vibrant colors and presentation. Weera Thai biz banner name changes color every few seconds. Cool! Outside has limited patio seating. Beautiful and nifty scooter taxi vehicle displayed near the entrance for quick photo ops. Nicely done! I walked in the restaurant and saw the lovely red color and mahogany wood interior especially near the front entrance. Informed the gentleman to my right that I was here to pick-up my order. He grabbed the bag and handed it to me. I didn't get a chance to see more of the inside. I just left soon afterwards. Papaya Salad portion was decent. Papaya shreds had a crisp and crunchy texture. Shrimps were big. It was very fresh and limey. Spice level 2 was a bit more spicy for me to handle, but I still managed. I loved every bite of it! One small observation, no cabbage was given with the Papaya Salad which was surprising to me. I usually get cabbage with this salad to tame down the heat. Oh well. I have been to other Weera Thai locations in Las Vegas. Amazing foods, drinks, and cool ambiance will bring me back every time! I look forward to dining in here next time. Have been here a small handful of times now and I have loved every dish we've tried every time. I am learning there's nothing you can't order that won't be great! Tonight my hubby and bestie family-styled dishes and had the Tom Kha soup, Pad See Ewe, Duck Noodle Soup (it's cold outside) and the special, Lobster Pad Thai. Absolutely enjoyed everything! And thought it was considerate of them to already separate the peanuts and spice on the Pad Thai so we could enjoy to our personal liking. Staff is always really great, our server Jeep was kind and very helpful in deciding how much food would be enough for us and recommendations as well. We've given the Rainbow location multiple chances because it's much closer to home than Town Square but unfortunately, the service continues to be highly disappointing. We decided to give it another chance for my husband's birthday, hoping for a better experience but once again, we left disappointed. Our server never even introduced himself. He was quick to take our orders but never checked on us afterward. We had to ask three times for a smaller soup spoon, our water was never refilled and we waited quite a while for to go boxes until another server finally helped us. Our server only returned when it was time for the bill. The food actually tasted great! The only issue was that it arrived warm rather than freshly hot, except for the soup and the salmon was overcooked and dry. Unfortunately, the service was so disappointing that we didn't even finish our meals. We decided to pack up the rest of our food and leave. It's frustrating because we genuinely enjoy the food and wanted to like this location for its convenience, but the service has been consistently disappointing. At this point, I'd rather make the extra drive to Town Square, where we've had a much better experience, than return to the Rainbow location. read more

Nice restaurant, good atmosphere & decor. We tried 3 different dishes & each dish had good flavor. My top dish was the ribeye pepper garlic then the Khao Moo Dang then the curry duck dish. The curry was good but I had better duck, so my expectations were high. I would have given 5 stars but our food wasn't hot. It was warm but not hot & not just one dish but all 3 of them. The curry kept the duck warm but I definitely would have returned them if I wasn't that hungry. Eli our server was great. It's a specialty from Chiang Mai or north Thailand with noodles and a coconut base. Service was awesome and they had cool decor that made it feel like you were in Thailand. I came to try things individually, however they have a great lunch special option if you're looking to bundle your meal. The wonton soup is the best I've ever had! The potstickers are juicy & flavorful on the inside and crispy on the outside. If you're sitting at the bar, Happy Hour is all day! I got a deal for sitting at the bar bcuz happy hour allows you to bundle a cocktail & appetizer for $15, instead of just paying $9 for the appetizer alone. The food came super fast & the service was friendly and accommodating. For those looking for gluten free options, the Crab Meat Fried Rice or any of their fried rice can be made gluten free as long as you're not enjoying a fried protein. It does not contain soy sauce and is seasoned with sugar, salt & butter, so it's safe to enjoy! I ordered this to go for my hubby & he said it was amazing!! I was told to enjoy Khao Soi with a squeeze of lime, raw onions, pickled cabbage and if you'd like to add spice, you can add chili oil. It's to be combined and enjoyed together. It has a yellow curry sauce and crispy duck with egg noodles. It's amazingly delicious & bursting with flavors. I got the spice level of 1, but I could've gotten a 2 and been totally fine. It has a slight kick but it's not spicy to me. I added some chili oil to it and it was definitely an added kick & warmed my lips a little. I had previously ordered delivery from here and I wasn't impressed but there are certain foods that are meant to be eaten fresh as they come out of the kitchen, not only for presentation but also to highlight the fresh ingredients. I truly believe this is one of those places where a visit in person at one of their locations is totally worth it and almost needed. The food is spectacular, superb presentation, incredible flavors and the options truly reflect all of Thailand and not just regions.
