My wife and I recently visited Jipata Thai in Las Vegas, and we were absolutely impressed! The food was delicious, the drinks were fantastic, and everything we ordered was full of flavor. The restaurant has such a cozy, intimate atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for a date night or a special evening out. From the food and drinks to the ambiance and overall experience, everything was truly 5 stars. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend Jipata Thai if you're looking for great Thai food in Las Vegas!

Jipata is in my personal running for the best Thai food in Vegas! The vibe is intimate and great for date night, the wine/beverage menu is solid, and the staff are hospitable yet not intrusive. Where they really stand out for me is the food! Probably some of the best crying tiger steak, pad thai, and panang curry I've had in Vegas. Flavors and textures across dishes were well balanced. Note that the food is quite spicy by default, so ask for a milder version if you're like me and can't hang.

Absolutely loved this place. It's open late! Came in after 11pm and ordered about 5 things on the menu to share with a friend. Food was delicious and we cleaned all the plates. Even ordered another dish that the table next to us ordered. Cocktails were great, ambiance pretty intimate and romantic. Loved the decor and table settings. Such a vibe. Would highly recommend and will definitely come back the next time I'm in Vegas.

If you like quality Thai food and are in search of a small intimate spot then this is it. They also offer a full bar and have a good selection of wine as well. We mainly came here for some drinks and some small dishes to go with it. What we ordered was the oysters, raw shrimp sashimi and corn som thum. The first 2 are definitely a must. The corn was something interesting that I don't see often, but if you love corn with a hint of citrus and spice, then this is for you. Even with that alone, I'm pretty sure everything else should be great as well. At the time when we went, there was no one here so it was really chill with some music playing in the background. There was one worker who I assume was the server and also the chef. Regardless, there is no complaints on my end as everything came out in a timely matter. If there were more people, I feel that would alter the service, but it definitely didn't affect us.

We never truly understand what it feels like to walk in another's shoes. Behind a smile, a laugh, could be an individual battling unimaginable chaos while carving a new path to an unknown self. Too many of us think our tiny little bubbles represent the only reality that's possible. That's not how the matrix works. Emotionally mature self aware individuals can sense pain more than those driven by ego. How the simplest of feasts can shine a bright light helping another without them ever asking.     This is one of the main reasons I love breaking bread with friends. It's sharing JOY.     Jipata ( @jipatavegas ) was truly an amazing feast of flavors. I love this category of cuisine. The Miang Goong was death row quality! I could have eaten ten of those by themselves. The service was on point, great drinks, and very unique experience. I do imagine with no reservations it can be a pain to get into though so make sure to plan for it. Add it to your list if you love this type of feast.     IG: @jipatavegas

The amount of times we said wow. Just go! It's the definition of a hidden gem. Located in a strip mall off Spring Mountain in between a bunch of massage parlors... this place exists. The food was amazing. We got four dishes to split between the two of us and it was plenty of food.

I got prosecco and my partner got Pinot noir from the happy hour and tbh they were delicious. My partner drinks wine more often than me (I hate the dry taste of wine lol) but I wanted to come to try something new. We ordered the Waffle and Caviar, Sausage Roll, Brushetta from the happy hour and the Chef's Tasting board. The Waffle and Caviar was super flavorful! The touch of masago was 10/10 paired with the waffle and cream sauce! Ugh my fav truly. Next we got the Brushetta and my partner loved it. He said the tomatoes were delicious and paired well with the bread and sauce it was marinated with. I did try a bite even though I'm a tomato hater but man you can tell the tomatoes were fresh. I had a piece with no tomatoes because I loved whatever was on top as whatever the tomatoes were marinated in! Next came the Sausage Rolls and man were they delicious paired with their homemade cheese dip! I don't think I'd get again because it's quite heavy with the wine but def glad I tried. Lastly was the Chef's Tasting Board... this was so good. You could tell the cheese and meats were fresh and paired very well all together. The main star for me for that platter was the bread dipped in that garlic butter balsamic + oil... ugh delicious. I can't wait to get the membership and go back.

I shouldn't have to clearly hear conversations that are happening to the tables next to us. It was definitely a squeeze getting in and out of the tables without interrupting the table next to you. Our server recommended getting two plates per person. The menu isn't designed to have appetizers or entrees per se, so this menu seemed like it's kind of a tapas place or kind of not? If the plates aren't appetizers or entrees and they're more shareable, then why would we only get 3 pork ribs pieces instead of 4? The pork ribs had great flavor. it was crispy, tender, and fall off the bone at the same time, but it would've been better if they added one more pork rib bone instead of 3. The whipped brie with blackberry and honey was a bit disappointing. Even after mixing the whipped brie and with the blackberries, there were barely any fruit or honey flavor. All I tasted was salt. The brie was too salty with no taste of fruit or honey. Moreover, the brie came with 2 small pieces of toast, cut into 4 pieces. There was definitely more brie than toast, so we requested additional brioche toast. Of course we got charged extra for the toast. I just think the brie to toast ratio should be better. It seemed like the plate was 85% brie and 15% toast. How are we supposed to eat the rest of the brie when the toast provided is gone? I did not enjoy more brie over brioche ratio. We also got the burger and trout. Both shareable portions. The burger tasted like a slightly elevated Big Mac but saltier. Trout was good and cooked seared with a medium rare center. Flavor wise, the trout and pork ribs were my favorite. Also, the smokin petal cocktail was perfect. Overall, the experience here was just okay.

This is a butler style all you can eat small plates restaurant, so people walk around with trays of food and you can pick it you want something. We would get skipped so many times with the food we wanted to try. We just couldn't figure out their system or how they serve the food. The quality of the "more expensive" dishes were lacking. The short ribs were watery. The filet mignon eggs Benedict was tasteless and it was the most thin and overcooked piece of filet mignon I've ever had. The pancakes were cold and thick and dense. The heirloom tomatoes tasted more like regular tomatoes, and the scrambled eggs with caramelized onions and tomatoes lacked seasoning and flavor. So many dishes that were on the menu didn't even come out. The following items were delicious: Bacon and egg flatbread Avocado crostini Mini egg frittata Truffle mushroom grits (although it's bold of them to call it truffle mushroom grits when there's only like 2 little mushrooms. We were seated at the bar and had a nice time interacting with the cocktail craftsman/man in charge, Davey. The menu is his creative brainchild and changes a few times a year, with the current one based on the movie Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. There's a 90 minute limit and 2 drink minimum per guest. Because of the craft and attention to detail that goes into each cocktail, we finished our 2 drinks just about right at the 90 minute mark. I really enjoyed both of my cocktails but the one that stood out to me the most was Strange Medicine. It was reminiscent of a martini but with Brie-washed Old Bison vodka, Cocchi Americano, and herb oil. It was so good that I wasn't sure what drink to choose next, but Davey was helpful with a great recommendation for another cocktail served with a chunk of parmesan cheese on top. Keep in mind that you're paying for the experience and the level of craft. So with a 2 drink minimum it won't be a cheap experience but it's definitely something worth checking out for the unique, creative cocktails.

Pro: Fear and Loathing menu, updated furniture, yummy drinks…read more Con: Not the previous Laundry Room you remembered, glorified tourist trap, lack of atmosphere control. Slow drink service. The Laundry Room is dead, long live the Laundry Room. The remodel that took place during Jan to May 2026 saw a wide amount of change from Corner Management, the mother company of LR. They got rid of the absolute corner stone of the lead bartender, Anthony, and redecorated the place to look more like the sister bar, Doberman Drawing Room (5 Stars). The remodel was absolutely needed, as the regulars and Dean's List could point out, the place was kind of falling apart. From water warped bar top, uncomfortable chairs, and chipped paint/worned carpet, you would think this place WAS left over from the Prohibition era. What sets this establishment apart from any of the pretend speakeasy on the strip is the atmosphere. At any given time, you could cram 16 people there at a time, even with the reduced drinking time cut from 2 hours to 90 minutes, this place could only cycle thru 50 to 60 people from the reduced nightly opening of 4 hours from 6 hours previously. This make LR special, not some faux speakeasy in Cosmo or Resort World that could jam in 80 people per hour with room to spare. Gone is the rugged identity of the old laundry room for El Cortez, this is spiced up, every square inch of the wall is covered with some art piece, very much different from the Depression era decor. Some art selection are just straight up chaos from the management, the main cherub piece behind the bar is just insanity. The new master of house, Davey, showed skills with his new 14 drink menu, but fell short of what made LR great in the past 14 years. Now, the man had just two months to create his drink list and per himself, had to start from the scratch from when he took over.. So, with that said, let's focus on the drinks. Hemingway Dalguiri, Dust + Ether, and High Noon Static - all great in taste, presentation, and talent, abet we can see the hesitation when making his own drinks, thus slowing down service by quite a bit. My party saw him struggle making 6 drinks at once, 4 of them the same drinks. Recommendation from someone else, maybe record the drink making process and try to eliminate non productive habits and motions via video viewing. Since Davey is a visionary, looking in the past is a deal breaker for him. If you are trying to finish up a previous menu for the Dean's List, the joke is on you, that is a no. Where the hostess (the only person that survived the purge from the remodel) explained to him that exception needs to happen to keep the Dean's List going, the answer was a no since no one at management told him about this. When asked about what will the new requirements will be for the future, it's simple, finish the menu before it's replaced with no chance of catching up. Once a menu is done, it's done. I guess it's easier to keep the drinks under control with less ingrediencies needed behind the bar, but wait a minute... drink number 15, Research and Development, that should give Davey some leeway to non menu drinks right? Turns out, not so much. Sidecar- cognac, orange liqueur, lemon juice. Simple right? He leaves the room to get something from Commonwealth... didn't management installed a new fridge to hold the larger ice cubes, where previous bar keep have to venture out all the time? Turns out, there was no Cognac or any Brandy in the Laundry Room. I can see how things are shaped, strict bottle control is for the benefit of the bar, not for the customer. There is now Vodka, foam, and milk wash but lost Cognac or Brandy, but besides the freedom of choices were also compounded with complete lack of rules. For the last 14 years, the hostess and bar staff on rotation were friendly yet firm about house rules. First given upon entering the secret or window doors, then by the bartender after an aperitif is given (now eliminated). No photo, religion, politic, standing at the bar, name dropping, brawling, telephone calls, PDA, and smoking, plus don't be creepy, be patient, and know your limit. Most of these were not enforced the first 2 times my party of regulars have visited since the remodel. The cardinal sin of allowing one single 4 top to seat 2 people at a time is just wild. But hey, no rules are listed on the new simple menu and none giving at the door or at the seats. So what is this place now? 20 to 23 dollars for a drink plus more for popcorn. All for the experience of being in a noise warfare between Commonwealth and La Mona Rosa's speaker systems, with LR's own music turned up high, and the piano only used one night of the week. I would recommend Doberman Drawing Room as of now for better drinks options, less noise, and vibe. The new menu to replace Fear and Laundry will come out this Fall, will be bring some regulars with me to check on LR again and hopefully give more than 2 stars on the next review.
