This is a Thai food restaurant for special occasions. It's really cute inside, even though the table felt a bit too high for the chairs. Maybe the chairs were too low, but it felt a little awkward. The food was good and unique. Their green beans were incredible!! Sometimes maybe a little too unique, but we had fun trying new things. I do think this place is on the pricier side, but definitely fun for a special occasion. The restaurant was packed, but only had one waiter. He was very very nice and tried really hard, so we felt really bad when we would need to waive him down for more water or the check. Overall, it was a good experience!
This is perhaps one of my favorite Thai restaurants in Las Vegas. The ambiance, quality of dishes, and customer service is exceptional. I liked how our server always checked in and refilled our waters throughout our dining experience without us asking. Their pad Thai and crispy prawns are my go to plates here. Their dessert was also enjoyable - first time trying their egg yolk ice cream and it was quite good! One suggestion was that I noticed the menu at this location was quite limited - I was looking to order their papaya salad but didn't see it. Aside from that, overall great experience!
Pad Thai with crispy shrimp was delicious! Hefty portion of shrimp, fried to perfection. Ambiance nice. Small restaurant, but cool vibes. Extensive wine list created by sommelier. Friendly staff. Look forward to going back.
My friend ordered to-go here on a Friday during the day. I was sad they did not have a lunch menu. She ordered the mun pu fried rice and the crispy duck panang for my friend and I. They both tasted delicious! However, they forgot our side of white rice. Did not realize till she delivered it to me at the airbnb already, so that was a bummer on the service. Big chunks of crispy duck. I liked it a lot!
We ordered khao soo, basil fried rice with crispy duck, pad Thai, tom yum soup and drunken noodles w/steak. Of all the dishes there, I think the table favorites was the basil rice with crispy duck and tom yum soup! Smaller portion size though, so it's not that shareable family style. Friendly service and clean place overall
Lamaii is one of my favorite Thai places in town but this was my first time at their original Spring Mountain location. Decor was beautiful and food was just as good as their Henderson location. Favorites include the Ga Prow, Gang Pu, and Yum Nuer, but everything I've had here has been great, and they include a lot of unique/traditional Thai items that aren't typically seen in other Thai restaurants.
We visited on Friday, with a party of four adults and two small children, and it was a very nice experience. We had a reservation and were seated right away in a large booth. The waitress stopped by and took orders. They have a full bar and their margaritas are nice and strong. We started with a bunch of apps; Green Beans, Fun Fries, Som Tum, Salmon Noir, Moo Tod Nam Pla, Steak Tartare and Gyoza. All were well prepared and fresh. From there we went with Garlic Herb Crispy Prawn, Lobster yum Takrai, Sua Rong Hai, Panang Crispy Duck and a side of rice. Everything was excellent, the lobster was very spicy, as I asked for 10/10. For dessert we had Honey Toast, which was huge. The service was outstanding. The waitress was friendly, prompt and kept up with getting rid of dishes and providing refills. Overall, a great place for authentic Thai fare.
Overall experience 10/10! We came on 4th of a July for lunch and it was pretty empty. We were seated immediately. The food was amazing, honestly everything we got was good that we would get it again. My favorites that I would recommend is the crispy duck curry 9/10. The pepper prawn and papaya salad TOGETHER 10/10!
Lamaii Thai in Las Vegas OMG! This is an amazing experience and a MUST go! Food: my goodness the food is so filled with taste, seasoned, rich, and cooked with love. The duck fried rice, crispy prawns in curry sauce, crispy spring rolls, crab fried rice, crispy chicken wings, and the drinks were simply GREAT! The flavors infusion on the taste buds is explosive. Service: the service is extremely fast with attention to details and the needs of the customers. So much respect in the greeting and each engagement making you feel a sense of belonging. Ambiance: the decor is beautiful done and outlined with traditional Asian decoration. The seating is great for date night as well as large groups. Upon entrance is a huge wine wall into open seating and the bar in the back. The place is nicely decorated with love. Overall score 5.0/5.0 please ensure to visit you will not be disappointed in this choice.
Great food. The crispy duck fried rice has been my favorite here. They have plenty of other dishes that would complete your meal. A soup, plenty of noodles and protein dishes like crying tiger. Great service and the place is well ventilated w AC.
Panang crispy duck was delicious! Crispy and flavorful and boneless! Garlic greens on point. Went here on Father's Day. Was a very short wait and staff were quick. Plenty of parking in the lot.
I was so looking forward to this late meal after landing late in Vegas. I heard pretty good things about this place especially about their Crispy Duck Panang. We came straight to Lamaii right after checking into our timeshare. We arrived around 1130pm on a Thursday night and the place was empty, it was just us and another couple. Let's by saying the restaurant is nice and modern with a full bar. The service was fantastic and very friendly. If you're looking for authentic Thai food this isn't the place. Lamaii is more modernized Thai style. For our late dinner we ordered the following main dishes. ( I asked for spicy) Crispy Duck Panang: This was why we came here for and I felt the dish was lacking some heat and the curry was on the sweeter side. The duck was a little disappointing as well. The duck skin was fantastic and crispy but the duck was very dry. For a $28 dish it needed more texture like Thai eggplant or bamboo. 3/5 Stars. Garlic Herb Crispy Prawns: This was fantastic . This was our favorite dish out of the three. The prawns were fresh and fried perfectly crispy. The shells were like chips. 5/5 Stars. Gra Pow Moo Krob: This was alright. Again not much heat even i ask for spicy more on the sweeter side. The moo krob (crispy pork belly)was ok. There were pieces that was very chewy 3/5 Stars. I was a little disappointing. We had to order a side of rice for our duck panang. A curry dish should automatically comes with a side of rice or any main entree. Overall, Lamaii is pretty pricey for the portion you get. We got three dishes a side order of steamed rice and one drink and the bill was over $100. Left Lamaii a little disappointed.
The food at Lamaii was amazing. Very fresh and flavorful. I did not wait long to be seated. The waitress provided suggestions of menu items that were tasty and every suggestion was phenomenal. The side of rice did not come with the meal and you had to pay about $2 for it, which I wasn't used to. Otherwise the atmosphere, service and food were great and I will go back!
Lamaii absolutely hit the spot for our Thai craving. We definitely ordered too much food, but that ended up being a win because the leftovers were just as good the next day. We had the Pad Sen Lobster, Panang Crispy Duck, Tom Yum Soup, and fried green beans. The lobster dish was loaded up, the crispy duck with the panang curry was probably my favorite, the Tom Yum had a nice kick, and the green beans were one of those sides you keep picking at even when you're already full. The whole place also has a really nice ambiance without feeling overly fancy, so it would be a great date night spot. They have a huge wine selection too, which was a nice surprise. Prices were very reasonable for the quality and how much food we got, and the service was great the entire time. We left stuffed, happy, and carrying plenty of leftovers. Good was amazing. Great flavors. Better than lotus imo and they also had the fried garlic prawns here as well. The portions were just a bit small so definitely order more than you would think you would need Green beans are just your standard garlic stir fry. Really enjoyed the pork jowl. Lamaii : A Thai Food Win! From the moment we walked in, Kim delivered top-notch hospitality, quick, attentive, and welcoming without rushing us. The King Salmon was fresh and beautifully simple 7.5/10. The star of the night for me was the Crispy Duck Pad Thai. Perfectly seasoned noodles, just-right portions, and duck with a crispy crust that brought the crunch--8/10. The Chicken Pad Thai landed at 7.5/10. The chicken could've used more flavor, but those noodles absolutely carried the dish. And the Thai Coffee? 9/10. Strong, smooth, and perfectly balanced. Great food, excellent service, and a shoutout to Kim for making our experience even better. Lamaii is definitely worth a visit! read more

Located in Chinatown on Spring Mountain Road, Lamaii has a modern, stylish atmosphere and a menu that goes well beyond the usual Thai staples. Lamaii has become our go-to for Thai food. Ever since we discovered it, we've brought just about all of our favorite people here. The space itself is inviting with stylish décor and a warm, modern atmosphere that makes it perfect for both casual dinners and hosting friends. Service is consistently excellent--attentive, welcoming, and polished every time we visit. Our Usual Order: 1) Garlic Herb Crispy Prawns - Hands down some of the best in the city. The prawns arrive perfectly crisp with a generous coating of golden garlic and herbs. Each bite has that satisfying crunch before giving way to tender shrimp. 2) Mango Crispy Catfish - A beautiful contrast of textures. The crispy catfish is topped with bright slices of mango and finished with a chili-lime dressing that ties everything together. The dish is vibrant, colorful, and bursting with flavors. 3) Crab Fried Rice - The rice comes generously packed with large pieces of crab and works perfectly alongside the other dishes. It's hearty enough to share. 4) Dessert here is as much about presentation as it is about enjoyment. The Mango Sticky Rice is beautifully plated, and the Egg Yolk Ice Cream is a unique treat that's rich and creamy without being overly sweet--the perfect way to end the meal. We came to Lamai in the evening and were seated right away, which was a great start. Our waitress was very kind and attentive and took the time to walk us through the specialty dishes, which we appreciated. We ordered the pad sen lobster, and it was really good. The lobster was perfectly crispy, and the whole dish had great flavor. The crispy prawns are always a go to for us and did not disappoint. We also had the crispy duck panang, and the curry was rich and very flavorful. I was especially happy they had mango sticky rice because it is the perfect way to end a great meal. The restaurant itself is nice and clean and has a comfortable feel. This is one of our favorite spots to bring family and friends when they are visiting and want good Thai food. read more
This place a a little gem! my first visit went as planned! for the appetizer, i ordered the prawns! All i can say is i ate every part of the crustacean. it was so crispy, almost tasted like a potato chip! i can never go to a Thai/Loa?Cambodian place and NOT order Papaya Salad! That's probably how you can tell if the cooks are lazy or not... If that papaya salad comes out crunchy... GET TF OUT!!! Lazy Shortcuts are taken when m asking your food! NOT HERE THOUGH!!! That papaya salad was so wilted sucking up all the flavors while they "TOONG-TOONG" that dish in a Mortar & Pestle! There's another dish i ordered. looked like a deconstructed noodle soup. That became my favorite dish. i believe it was called Gang Pa. The Crab Fried Rice was so good. they use real crab meat. Don't forget to order Mango Sticky Rice as your dessert! I'll start by saying this: I'm very picky when it comes to Thai food, and I usually leave Thai restaurants feeling a bit disappointed. Because of that, I tend to stick to what I know and rarely branch out. Lamaii was a pleasant surprise. What stood out immediately is that their menu is genuinely different from a typical Thai menu. We ordered dishes we don't usually choose, and almost everything blew us away. The flavors were unlike anything we've tried before. The only miss for us was the tom kha soup, but everything else was delicious and memorable. The service deserves a special mention. I really appreciated that they had us double check the bill for accuracy and clearly explained that gratuity was already included. The ambiance is beautiful and intimate, making it an ideal spot for a special occasion or a nice night out. The lighting (especially later in the evening) creates a cozy, upscale vibe. Overall, Lamaii is a place I would absolutely return to even as someone who usually plays it safe with Thai food. If you're open to trying something elevated and a bit outside the usual Thai comfort zone, this place is worth it. read more
Not bad for a place to get Thai food. You see all these influencers going to this place so I had to try this place out. I kept it light by ordering the wings and the drunken noodles with crispy duck. The wings were really okay.... They were crispy but they literally had no flavor, couldn't taste the lime seasoning on it at all, and no salt. The drunken noodles were fantastic, especially with the crispy duck. Service was pretty good and we were served pretty quick. The meal didn't take too long. The restaurant itself was beautiful. The decor was awesome. We'll be back to try other items next time around. read more

The food was well-prepared and the service was great. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made the overall experience enjoyable. While the food wasn't quite suited to my personal palate, I can definitely appreciate the quality and presentation. I think others who enjoy this type of cuisine would really like it. I was excited to try Lamaii on a recommendation from one of my favorite restaurants. While my experience was mostly excellent, they missed the mark in a couple of spots. I will try again and order differently. The restaurant felt upscale Thai while keeping it authentic. They have a great wine fridge on entry and were very welcoming. The frosted mug had me imagining my next visit just for beers! Best bites: Green beans were excellent Papaya salad was delicious but my medium spice level was pretty mild. I'll order spicy next time Egg crab was delicious. Think egg fried rice without the rice. It comes with ketchup which was weird, but I dipped in the Thai chili fish sauce which they served when we sat down Other bites: Tom yum missed the mark. It was made to impress with two large prawns head on. They forgot to flavor it The chicken rice was bland, dry, and without flavor. I doused it with the Thai chili fish oil Overall, I was highly impressed with most of my experience and disappointed with a couple of items. Will visit again read more

Went here for a bachelorette party. And it was so good. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the perfect spot for an elevated girls night or a romantic date night. Lighting is low-and the drinks are delicious. We ordered a little of everything but to me, the standouts were 1)Lobster Fried Rice 2)Basil Eggplant 3) and the Panang curry The staff was crazy friendly and catered to our large party perfectly. I would definitely recommend this location for a lux Thai experience. read more

I usually don't like leaving bad reviews but I was very disappointed with our meal tonight. We were looking forward to a nice Thai dinner. We love Thai food. We picked Lamaii because it was open until 12am. We ordered takeout because we wanted to come back to our room and relax. The restaurant is nice. Fancy decor. Great service. Very friendly. But when we got back to our place and opened up the takeout I was shocked at how small the portion sizes were. I didn't even think of taking pictures of the food. They use the usual small black rectangular plastic to-go boxes that you can buy at Sam's club that most Thai restaurants use. I still think those boxes kind of give you smaller portion sizes than if you dined in but that's ok. But we ordered garlic string beans that cost $17 and they gave enough to fill less than half the box. Three satay chicken skewers with our order which tasted mediocre. And we ordered the Penang curry with crispy duck. Which came with 6 pieces of duck, again filling less than half the small black box, and a small plastic soup container of curry that was filled HALF way. Everything was half of was I expected and cost more than most other Thai restaurants. I was honestly shocked. The curry costs $28 and we got no rice with our half container of curry. I understand inflation but that's just ridiculous. I would be embarrassed to sell that to people. Ok that's my rant. And I will not be going back. And I would never suggest to order take out from this restaurant. Maybe dine in is better but I'm not going to find out. read more
Western/Fusion Thai Wine Restaurant. RSVP needed (extremely crowded on a Saturday night). They are understaffed but very nice. You'll leave ridiculously dehydrated due to how much fish sauce to masking salty taste was added into the food for flavor. For anyone sensitive, you'll feel very bloated, good hangover and thirsty until the next day. Crispy Prawns are popular here and we'd say that's a MUST GET ITEM here, especially for ppl who similarly love the original Lotus of Siam location version. Overall, be prepared for a very long wait, and service. We were able to entertain ourselves. And they treated us pretty well. What's not for us, doesn't mean it's not for others? Maybe this could be a kind stepping stone or fusion taste of Thai food? I'm sure this place will be full of people ordering the typical western to mainstream dishes like Pad Thai. We are not normally into fusion or westernized Thai food. That doesn't mean we won't be able to enjoy more elevated versions, or westernized versions. It needs to make sense. For elevated places, the quality needs to match the price. I'm expecting higher grade meats to higher quality ingredients = not supposed to feel food hangover after. I swear we were so thirsty, nonstop drinking water and electrolytes all night and the next day. That's not a good sign. I don't even think I get that thirsty from eating Panda Express. Luckily we weren't gassy which means their protein were decent quality. There are other reviewers with similar experiences too so it wasn't just us. Compared to all Vegas friends and family, we are more picky with our Thai, Vietnamese, Chinese, Taiwanese, Mexican taste in food (probably cause of where we came from). Many of which Vegas is not well-known for. But if you come from places with less of any of these communities around than Vegas might be great for you in all of them? read more

We travel from out of state, & ALWAYS make time for this restaurant. It's phenomenal. The food, particularly the duck & crab fried rice are what we come here for. The servers are very friendly & attentive, the inside is well kept, clean & it's got a fancy aesthetic. See you guys next year ! We really love coming here. Last year I had some glass noodles that were spicy w beef & wow. I highly recommend you guys try this place you will not be disappointed & they have a huge selection of not just food but drinks !! 100/100 read more

4.5 rounded to a 5. Love that it closes pretty late since I was able to walk in and be seated right away at 11pm. The place was dimly lit and had a nice bar vibe. A chill place to catch up with friends. The seats were also really comfy. Service was great. The server greeted us w a friendly smile and gave us her recommendations. Food : Pad Thai 8/10: super flavorful and the noodles had a really nice chew to it. Crab fried rice 6.5/10: real crab meat sprinkled on top. I do wish there was more crab meat mixed inside the rice too. Pretty basic dish Panang duck 9/10: super flavorful dish. The duck was crispy and it was a good call for me to order the rice bc I was able to dip some of that fried rice in the panang sauce. Delish! Tom kha soup 6/10: I feel like this dish was lacking maybe a bit of sweet? I know it's generally a sour creamy dish but I feel like it needed a bit more flavor. I only tasted spicy creamy lemon flavor. I think a tinge of sweetness would really help bring the dish together. I really liked the mushrooms that were in the soup and they give you a good amount of meat tho. Overall the food is pretty pricey for what you get but it is an upscale Thai food place so I shouldn't expect less. I would def come back to try their other dishes. read more

Had Lamaii for dinner before hitting a bar and finishing the day with a show. The food here was absolutely incredible.. I found this spot via instagram and I was not disappointed in any way feasting down on far too much food. The decor in here definitely transports you into another space and the staff was very friendly. The Panang Crispy Duck was the star of the show for sure, and the curry was so good that I committed pure blasphemy and scooped some onto my Crab Fried Rice (Mun Pu). Made reservations to try Lamaii, and I'm glad I did. The vibe here is modern with dim lighting and great décor. It definitely feels like a step up from the usual Thai spot. Great selections on the menu and an extensive wine and cocktail menu. Ended up with the kua gling and it was so good! Service was attentive and friendly. Overall, Lamaii is a solid pick if you're looking for upscale Thai in Vegas with a stylish atmosphere. A little pricey, but for the quality and ambiance, it's worth a visit. read more

We came for lunch right when it opened on a Monday morning so there was no wait. The place was quiet and clean. But the star of the show was definitely the food! We had the Crab Fried Rice, Fried Garlic String Beans, and the Crispy Duck Panang. We also ordered sticky rice. All three dishes starred in their role perfectly. read more
Ordered for Togo this time. Service was slow on a Sunday lunch. Looks like only one server at the time. Got the taro crispy roll and it was average fried food. Small and not much taro flavor. The pad see ew with chicken was solid. Noodles were hot, generous amount of chicken, and had good flavors. Chicken satay with roti was solid. Roti was crispy but bit oily. Tasty peanut sauce with the coconut flavored chicken. Fried catfish was underwhelming. Crispy but very salty when eaten alone. Very few pieces of fish for one order. Food: We ordered the duck fried rice (best one Ive tasted this far), Tom Yum soup, beef drunken noodle and papaya salad. The spice was supposed to be level 10, but it felt more like a 7. The recipes were delicious. The soup is small so two people max when it comes to sharing. Service: Very friendly interaction and felt very laid back, not rush. My friend and I had plenty of time to enjoy food and catch up. Ambiance: The vibe here is cool, the decorations are nice. The booth we sat in was nice, clean and comfy. The only thing that missed the mark was the bathrooms. They could use some attention and cleaning. Other than that, great experience. read more
