Went out for anniversary dinner and all just perfect, perfect host, server and chef. All their dishes are amazing. It's so many choices to pick so we order as many as we can. All is very tasty and price reasonably. It's a huge skewers compare to normal yakitori. Their rating says it all so they don't need introductions. Have at em. All is amazing specially their Foie gras

This place is definitely a good experience as an introduction to someone who hasn't done a Japanese Omakase and/or someone that isn't into raw fish. The reason why is because this is an Omakase where the main ingredient they utilize is chicken and the price point isn't as high compared to sushi omakases. The best thing about Omakase is that you don't have to really look at the menu. The chef will serve you items that they suggest and you may even be able to try some new things. They will take you on a journey through different types of flavors and textures with the base of it primarily chicken. The omakase alone is pretty good, but you can also order additional dishes if you like. You may even come across something that you like and you can even order extra of that also. With the omakase and maybe one extra dish, I was pretty full so I wouldn't suggest to over order from the very beginning. We did the omakase with a sake pairing which is pretty nice when it comes to omakases. The drinks kind of bring you on a journey of flavors that can help pair with the food you're eating. Not to mention you also get to drink and eat at the same time which is always nice. We had a reservation right when they opened so it was pretty empty and chill. We noticed that some people didn't have a reservation, but since they weren't booked, they were able to seat them. The ambiance is pretty cool especially when you sit at the bar. You get to watch the chef grill skewers which can be similar to watching a bartender make several of your drinks.

Food: yakitori and more: Thigh - little overcooked Wing - get Mushroom - get Ground chicken - get Japanese potato - must get Grilled mochi - skip Agedashi tofu in paitan soup - get Scallop w/garlic butter Sake steamed clams - skip Grilled rice ball w/ground chicken - skip Mango pudding Complimentary barley tea serves at the end I felt like everything was just a bit too salty. The standout was the sweet potato. The big loser was the sake steamed clams. Waaaayy too much sake not fully cooked off so really tasted the alcohol big time. Service: warning - one annoying thing was I called and left a voicemail for a reservation and no one called me back. So I called back to confirm and the gal on the phone was like "oh yeah we don't listen to the messages." Um, what? Well then why set up a machine that takes messages???! So good thing I kept calling until a person picked up the phone as they don't have a website set up either to take reservations and yes, you NEED a reservation if you want to get in. But our service was great once we were at the restaurant. Ambiance: really feels like you are in Tokyo at a yakitori restaurant as they cook the skewers in front of you on the very special coals that make it taste delicious! Definitely recommend requesting to sit at the bar when you make a reservation. Fun to watch the magic happen. Not sure I'll be back as it's just not as good as in Roppongi, and you can only eat so much salt!

I've always been curious about this place because I pass by it every time I'm in the plaza getting tea. I was lucky enough to get a walk in seat at the counter during one of my recent trips to Vegas. I wasn't sure I could finish all the food from the omakase course since I arrived at 9PM, but hey, it's Vegas - why not go for it. All the dishes were really good. My overall experience felt like I was transported back to Japan with the level of service and quality of food. Although I usually eat my food as they are presented, I did try some of the sauce and salt they provided. I highly recommend this restaurant if you're craving yakitori. The omakase was only $80.

Great service, great food, cozy, friendly. Our first time here We went for their omakase. Everything was delicious!

Favorite chicken yakitori specialty restaurant, small and hard to find a seat. Japanese quality, our favorite yakitori place in town. The only minus is that they don't offer the wooden tofu serving tool any more.

Love this place! But making a reservation is hard but necessary. They hardly ever answer their phone. The best way to make a reservation is actually to go there which I know is super inconvenient for people who don't live in Vegas. But it's worth it! Love this place!!

A few months ago, I went on a last minute road trip with my friends to Utah and stopped by Vegas on the way. We ate at this really really fancy restaurant that was extremely expensive called Raku and my friend mentioned a few things about going to the wrong location. Then we went to this location and were amazed at the food and it was wild because the price was 2-3x cheaper, but a lot of the items were the same from the other location! Then, my friend called me a week ago and told me I should to go to Vegas with him. I thought about it for about 30 minutes and after realizing I could get my flight reimbursed in miles and stay at his friend's condo, it might be worth the trip. I asked him if we were going to do anything, and he said nothing of substance, so I was intrigued, but what made me decide to go is when I asked him if we could eat here. He said yes, so I went! We got so many skewers, from chicken hearts (so good), gizzard, tail, skin, sweet potato, onion, rice cake (which was amazing to dip into the scallop, along with the mochi too) and okra. Then we got their special, which was chicken nuggets, and their chicken kaarage, which is a showstopper due to the juiciness and crunchiness of the skin. The scallop was completely to die for and had so much flavor. The smoked chicken dish had a unique smoke flavor to it that was really good, but I forgot to mix in the spicy ingredient that it was supposed to mix it with, which probably would've taken it to the next level. The pork cheek, my friend liked a lot and I thought it was okay, but the filet mignon or beef dish was quite a treat. I wanted to get these little fishy things I got last time, but I don't think they're on the menu anymore. The chef cooks everything on demand and brings it out in the order it's best to be eaten in and like any robata type place, you get so much flavor packed in every bite. Not to mention the cooking times and precision and quite flawless. The service here is great and you get a really good ambiance of the place as well, with chopstick holders made out of charcoal, unique dips like a green tea salt and so much more. They give you a free tea at the end of your meal too! This is definitely a place worth checking out.

お客さんを舐めてる。 The service here was extremely unprofessional. It's a very small place with only five tables in total, yet there were three servers constantly "busy." Despite that, no one checked on us or even asked if we needed water. Halfway through the meal, my child had no water left. I tried to get someone's attention, but there was no staff in sight. Ironically, the water was finally brought over right when we were about to pay. At that point, I told the server we didn't need it anymore, thank you.

5 stars Heart valve (hatsumoto) - this isn't something offered everywhere Foie gras with duck - perfection Pomegranate sorbet - one of my favorites 4 stars Agedashi tofu - different from what I'm used to but I liked it in the soup Chicken oyster - a perfect bite Chicken thighs - great sauce Grilled prawn Rice ball - I'm not usually a rice ball person, but I enjoy the way they grill it here Brown sugar pudding - it was like a cloud in texture Mango pudding - super refreshing 3 stars Chicken skin - more like a 3.5; some was good but some wasn't too crispy Cartilage Gizzards - this is more my wife's thing Popcorn cartilage - I can only have too much cartilage, lol Miso sea bass - it's okay, but I don't think it's worth $38 Foie gras don - the grilled foie gras is better -Ramune (Japanese soda) is something different and worth the try

And yes, it's not on the Strip. Yes, it's absolutely worth going anyway. Yes, the prices are great. There are multiple rich looking large dining areas, a large bar area and a large patio. The Tuna Tartare was our favorite dish last time so we ordered it again. I don't know if they changed their recipe for it but what we were served tasted completely different. If you blow up both my tuna tartare photos you can see that last years plate contained a sauce unlike this years plate. Both menus (last years and this years) say that the tuna is suppose to be marinated. The chunks of tuna that I ate just tasted like raw tuna and the delicious tuna I had before. It still was an ok plate but not amazing like last time. We both enjoyed the Apple Manchego Salad. That was refreshing and delicious. So was the Tomato Basil Soup with Mini Grilled Cheese. I took the smaller 1/2 sandwich and didn't know that my half had most of the cheese. My husband was slightly disappointed with his half. I thought the stuffed peppers were tasty. The Steak and Mushroom Skewers had great flavors to them but the steak was chewier than it should be. I'm still a fan but the food wasn't perfect like last time. Service was mostly good but they don't bring you new plates.

We didn't really look into it, but saw that they had udon which my son loves. Everything was delicious and freshly made. I kept telling my husband, "This place is legit!" From the Japanese chefs and kind waitress, to the music, and, of course, the food. The ohitashi was a nice start with just the right amount of dashi to bring out the flavors of the veggies. I had the kimchi udon hot pot which comes with pork. I thought it was going to be slices of pork, but it was actually chashu that you would find in ramen! The chashu was tender and the broth was amazing. When I say amazing, it wasn't overly salty where it makes you feel bloated afterwards. My husband enjoyed his salmon avocado poke bowl as well. The kids had kake udon and a beef bowl, which they devoured. Glad we found this place!

Our waitress and waiter were both very nice. Service is great here. I have no complaints regarding that! I started by ordering their Hot Tea Pot in the Genmaicha Tea, which is refillable ($3). The tea was good. I must've had it refilled about three times. The husband got the Asahi draft. For the food orders, we started with the cholegi salad, takoyaki, and chicken karaage. While the cholegi salad was good, I'd have to say I've had better chicken karaage elsewhere. Unfortunately, I'm going to have to skip the chicken karaage next time. It was lacking in flavor so I asked for table salt to sprinkle on top of it. For the main dish, our party ordered beef sukiyaki udon, tendon, tuna and avocado poke don, nabeyaki udon, and kake udon. Everyone enjoyed their entrees. For dessert, we got everything that was on the menu so that we could sample them. I particularly enjoyed their matcha pudding in that it was more than what the picture showed. There were layers of azuki beans and black sugar syrup underneath the green pudding. This one was my favorite! The sweet potato ice cream was the party's favorite. Overall, I really like the vibe of this restaurant. I'll be back again to try other things on the menu that I didn't get to try this time.

From the jump, everything just clicked. The pacing felt natural, nothing rushed, nothing forgotten. You could tell there was intention behind the experience, but it never felt forced or overly polished. Just... dialed in. As it was a bit of a slower early evening, chef/owner Justin came to check in several times to see how we were doing and provided explanations of the food and the idea behind each bite. This not just dinner...it was an experience. I went all in on the menu and I'm glad I did, because this kitchen is not playing around. There's a confidence here that shows up on every plate. But a few dishes absolutely ran the table. The foie gras is rich in the way you want it to be, but balanced enough that you don't feel weighed down after a few bites. The wagyu carpaccio is ridiculous, melts instantly and somehow still feels light. And the toro crudo... that one didn't stand a chance. Silky, clean, just enough citrus and heat to keep it interesting. It's the kind of dish where you finish it and immediately wish you hadn't shared. And then there's the ensalada de naranjas. I ordered it three times, which honestly says everything. It shouldn't be the dish you keep thinking about, but here we are. The frisée and fried kale bring texture, the manchego gives it that salty edge, the candied walnuts add just enough crunch. But the oranges are unreal. Sweet in a way that almost doesn't make sense, no bite, no bitterness, just pure citrus perfection. You can tell they're something special, not the kind of thing you find just anywhere. What I appreciated most is that nothing felt like filler. Seafood, meat, vegetables, every dish had a purpose and actually delivered. It's rare to go through that much of a menu and not find a weak spot, but they pulled it off. And the service matched the food. Attentive, sharp, and genuinely welcoming without hovering or making it feel like a performance. The kind of service that makes the whole night flow without you even noticing it. This is the kind of place you leave already planning your next visit, trying to decide if you reorder your favorites or pretend you have self control and try something new. Either way, it's awesome.

It has a warm ambient glow that makes the whole place feel intimate, but noise levels can be a bit high due to the close proximity of the tables and lack of noise buffer. Their drink menu is also creative, with unique cocktails and seasonal specials worth exploring. We tried a bunch of different food items: Takoyaki balls: the BEST balls ever! And that's saying a lot because we've been to Japan ! Takoyaki itself is a classic Osaka street food, traditionally made with diced octopus in a savory batter cooked in molded griddles. Here at Hachi, these takoyaki balls are crispy on the outside with a soft center, sitting abed a rich mayo-based sauce. What makes these stand out is the contrast with the balls of delicious and, instead of a fully liquid sauce, there are small chunks of cream cheese blended in, so you have bites of that with the battered balls! Agedashi Tofu: Lightly fried tofu served in a delicate dashi broth. The exterior is soft with a bit of crisp, while the inside stays silky and custard-like. The broth is clean and, if I dare say, savory but light. Basically a punch of umami and extremely balanced! Karaage: They are known for their chicken karaage, and it absolutely delivers. The chicken lightly coated and fried until golden and crisp while staying incredibly juicy inside. Each bite has a satisfying crunch followed by tender, flavorful meat! I highly recommend pairing it with the negi sauce, which delivers a a tangy vinegar-based scallion sauce that cuts through the fat and oils, and it deeply enhances the flavor of the chicken. Yakitori Skewers: Yakitori is a traditional Japanese grilling style where small skewers of meat are cooked over charcoal. The focus is on simple flavors utilizing high-quality ingredients. We tried a mix of skewers, which comes with a slice of lemon on top to be squeezed over the skewers: * Wagyu skewers: rich, buttery, and cooked to perfection * Beef tongue: more chewy and textured, so not a huge fan of it * Chicken skin: ultra crispy with rendered fat and a satisfying crunch * Pork belly with green onions: fatty, smoky, and balanced by the freshness of scallions We also ordered a fresh scallop skewer, grilled shrimp with tartar sauce, and eel. The scallops were sweet and tender with 3 pieces per skewer. The shrimp was cooked and de-shelled and served with a tartar sauce. The eel was the most memorable with its rich, tender, and deeply savory taste. Eel (unagi) is considered a delicacy in Japanese cuisine where it's known for its sweet glaze and soft texture. Our favorites were definitely the eel and scallop skewers.

Because it was our first time, we wanted to sample a little of everything (and feed hungry kids),…read moreso we ordered the Steak Sando, Spicy Chicken Katsu Sando, Shrimp Sando, Pork Belly Rice Box, and the Chef's Box. Everything came out flavorful and well put together--no bland bites, no soggy bread, and nothing felt "thrown on a plate." Even our kids (who aren't big sandwich fans) couldn't stop eating, which is basically the highest compliment in our house. The shrimp sando was the clear standout. The shrimp patty is huge--honestly burger-sized--with a crispy panko crust that stayed crunchy, and the shishito pepper mayo added just the right kick without overpowering the shrimp. The shokupan bread deserves its own shout-out too: soft and pillowy, but sturdy enough to hold everything together without falling apart or getting soggy. If you're going for just one thing, I'd start there. The Steak Sando was rich and satisfying, and the Spicy Chicken Katsu hit that comfort-food spot with a nice little heat. If you're more of a rice person (or you want something extra filling), the Pork Belly Rice Box and Chef's Box are great choices--both were packed with flavor and felt like a solid meal, not a skimpy "side box." We ordered a mix and it was perfect for sharing family-style, but everything also works as its own main. Another pleasant surprise: the space is larger than it looks from the front. There are a few high-top seats up front, plus a back room with tables and booths, so it's not just a quick grab-and-go spot. And Thursday through Saturday they set up a social lounge and offer a bonus menu with additional options. We're definitely coming back to check that out (and the karaoke setup too).

They had to…read moretake a 20 minute pause on orders due to high demand which was exhausting especially in the heat. I definitely would not line up for this again, was a pass. I've had better chicken sandos for shorter wait times. The steak was also rather dry, but if you are to try I definitely recommend chicken over steak. Mediocre but if you want the experience go for it! Veryyy limited seating inside with one large table.
