Wow of PF Changs did not disappoint, this is a review on the town square location. It's been a while since I have been here, the staff was friendly and seated us right away. The place is nicely decorated with Asian decor red paint and terracotta statues. They all have on Santa hats! Super cute idea. Tables were clean and servers came over fast to take our order. We started with peach boba and a Japanese old fashion. Super tasty and refreshing. Appetizers was a pan fried pork dumpling, we got a sweet and sour soup also. Both were very tasty. Main dish was sweet and sour chicken and teriyaki chicken, one with white rice and one with fried rice. They both hit the spot good size portions and very well cooked. Kind of surprised this location actually gets 3.3 stars. Seems a bit high based on our experience. Group of 12 came in to celebrate a birthday party. Let's just say the birthday girl left not very happy and pretty much ruined the night! Over 2 hours we spent in the restaurant and there were not many people there. For starters our waitress Sana was a disaster from the get go. Drink orders were all over the place, spilled part of a cocktail on her tray, and just couldn't remember who ordered what. We ordered apps and dinner which went fine. Food came out fairly quick and Sana once again couldn't remember who ordered what. I mean you did write it down, I guess checking before hand would have been too much to ask for. The quality of the food was pretty good. We saw Sana 1 time after to check on us. I guess this is what happens when you are guaranteed 20% gratuity because it's a large party! Pretty sad that it's ok to treat your guess like crap because you automatically get a nice tip. After that we just watched her chatting with her co-workers. She did finally come back by after us being done for 45 minutes to ask the birthday girl which cake she would like as she gets a free one. 15 minutes later the cake shows up, as does the bill. We did ask if it could be split and we were told only 2 cards could be used. We did ask could we do it by couples/groups. We were told they can't do that. Ok fine, would have been nice to know that up front. We checked the bill and the cake I guess wasn't free as we were charged. Because Sana once again was no where to be found, after waiting a bit we found the manager to ask why we were charged. We were told that sorry they were a bit overwhelmed tonight. I'm sorry what? Where, we counter 14 people in the whole restaurant. If this is your overwhelmed, I would really hate to see you when you're "busy". I mean this is a holiday weekend so I would assume you'd have enough staff on hand. Long story short, save your time and don't visit here. Or at least if you get Sana expect terrible service and someone who can't remember you order and never checks on you. Super pricey for the quality and quantity of food. I came here for a book club meeting and I was starving so I ordered the full size Mongolian beef. It came out to be the same size as the half size entrees that others ordered and costs $30, not including tax and tip. I get inflation and all but I'm not paying $40 for a small dish of onions and a few pieces of beef. The quality of the food is on par with Panda Express, which is fine, but not $40 for a small bowl worth. It's nice that they don't blast loud music. The decor can only be described as too "Asian." Kind of like Tao at the Venetian. With characters repeating all over the wall and the same woman's face blown up really large all over the place. It's okay but kind of cheesy and very very AI. The servers did nothing to try to resolve the situation when I sent the food back. I also had to get up and look for service holding that bowl of Mongolian beef as the guy who dropped off the food said he's not responsible and didn't bring anyone over to check on us. The server just said fine, shrugged, and took it away, offered no alternatives, and I basically sat hungry the entire two hours while everyone else ate. One of the most consistent PF Changs in Vegas/Henderson. The food is consistently fresh and comes out piping hot. The rice is always cooked perfectly with enough fluff and parking is generally pretty easy with the lots offered within town square, or if your in luck street parking close to the entrance can sometimes be available. Their Mongolian beef and crispy chicken are always my go to orders and everytime it's incredibly flavorful. The crispy green beans are also a must try and definitely shareable, the batter on them alone is worth trying even if green beans aren't your thing. read more

One of my favorite appetizers is the short rib. I placed an online pick up order and it was made right on time and waiting for me. It wasn't too dry, which is my biggest complaint with ribs. the sauce balanced out everything very well they even threw in some classic fortune cookies. There's a pretty limited amount of locations of this around and this one doesn't seem to be super crowded whenever I come in. I feel like it is very conveniently located as a little restaurant break in between shopping at town Square. My wife and I tried the Chef's Feast ($19.99 per person) and walked out pretty disappointed. I got the Crispy Honey Chicken with Lo Mein, and she went with the Mongolian Beef and white rice. Her dish was the bigger letdown. The beef was chewy and had this gamey, barnyard-like taste that neither of us liked. The sauce was bland and had an almost chemical aftertaste. My lo mein was basically flavorless, and the honey chicken was fine but nothing to write home about. Service was good at least, and the food looked nice, but presentation only gets you so far when the flavors aren't there. We went on a Friday night at 9:45pm and were surprised how empty it was. My boyfriend ordered the ribs which looked good and they were seasoned very well. I wasn't much hungry so I thought the salad was gonna be small. I ordered a Chinese salad and it was a big bowl. My Mongolian beef was dry. I had to ask for Mongolian sauce more and my salad didn't even have enough dressing on it. I had to ask for more dressing she said normally the manager said yeah it was an up charge for all that but what I'm concerned about is the server said that she wasn't gonna charge me for the fried rice and the white rice was free she said no she said she was gonna charge me up charge so there goes the bill from 1399 to 1499 wind up going to 1995. *Town Square location I used to love P.F. Chang's when I was growing up. It was a rare occasion when we would eat here and I always felt so fancy. Now that I'm older, it's just A-OK in my book. I know it'll be a safe meal. Service here is a hit or miss. I've been here a few times already since my parents and kids enjoy the food. We've had great service where our server is friendly and attentive. We've also had not-so-great servers who disappear once the food has been dropped off. Take it however you want, but I wouldn't set the bar super high on this one. As for food, everything is just ok. Nothing stands out as super amazing, but it's not terrible food. I used to love the chicken lettuce wraps. The ice cold ,crispy iceberg lettuce with the flavorful chicken was amazing. Now, they give these itty bitty romaine leaves and the chicken isn't as flavorful as I remembered. The Mongolian beef is on the tough side. The crispy honey shrimp has been soggy and the chow mein is nothing special. Note, they do have a kids menu with good variety and it comes with a scoop of ice cream. We love their lunch and dinner specials since it's just enough food to keep going through the day. This location has pick up or to-go orders. We've ordered through Grubhub before and it takes a bit longer. Parking is free in the garages or paid via QR code on the street. Meter people do give you a ticket if you don't pay on the street so just park in garage. You can sub any of your foods and choose different sides. I usually do brown rice instead of white rice which is better for you and more fibrous and has a lower glycemic index value (if you have diabetes get brown rice or no rice). This was one of the worst Pf Chang's I have ever been to. I've been to two PF Chang's in the Vegas area and neither is good which is so disappointing. The lettuce wraps I ordered on happy hour were pretty good and not overly salty, plus the portion size was perfect for one person. The Beef with Broccoli though was a whole different story and so was the Hot and Sour soup, which was delivered to me after I got my entree. The quality of the beef was awful, the broccoli was not fresh, and it was drowning in sauce which made it SO salty. On top of that, the poor bartender was extremely inundated and looked like he was struggling because he had zero help and was busy making drinks while also washing glassware. He did a good job of acknowledging that he at least saw me at the bar when I got seated, but the cocktail took so long that I was already done eating my appetizer before I even got my lychee martini. The interior of this PF Chang's is pretty much standard to all other PF Chang's, nothing special. But the biggest area of opportunity here is getting another bartender or at least a bar back for the bar area and retraining the chef on how to make beef with broccoli that isn't drowning in sauce. Still a solid choice for a tasty and convenient Asian meal. Reservations can be made on their website which is a huge plus. The interior is spacious but has kind of an open feel which makes it feel less private and intimate. Service is hit or miss. Some servers are great and others are more "meh." There is a rewards program allowing you to earn cash credits toward future meals. On the most recent visit we found a few new choices on the menu and tried the teriyaki chicken. This was tasty and had pineapple and bell peppers and a tasty sauce, but it seemed more like a sweet and sour versus teriyaki flavor. They have a few new "individual" desserts we tried including chocolate peanut butter pie and key lime pie. The former was quite good and very tasty. My wife and I used to love P.F. Chang's. I guess I should've checked recent reviews before door-dashing tonight's family dinner. Would've been better served ordering from the local mom-and-pop Chines take-out for fraction of a cost. Here's a full list of items: Appetizers: Northern-Style Por Spare Ribs ($18.79) - tiny, burnt and dry. My wife immediately noticed how pathetic they looked. The taste did nothing to improve the first impression. Shrimp Dumplings ($15.89) - edible but meh. Vegetable Spring Rolls ($10.99) - absolutely disgusting. I don't know how you can screw up egg-rolls. Could definitely taste cooking oil that was way past changing time. Main dishes: Mongolian beef ($28.99) - teeny tiny portion of paper thin slices that were very dry. My kids called the dish Mongolian Beef Jerky. Sesame Chicken ($22.29) - probably a 6 out of 10, marginally passable but if I spend the rest of my life without ever trying it again, I won't regret it. This place calculates suggested tips on ala cart prices, even if you order from their prix fixe menu. Imagine going to a restaurant where your main dish comes with 2 sides for x price, but then the suggested tip is calculated as if you purchased two ala cart sides and your main dish. That would make no sense. Imagine buying a kid's meal that comes with a drink and side, and the tip being calculated as if you purchased a drink and side ala cart in addition to the child's main dish. It would make no sense to program your POS machine to do this. I have Celiac disease and needed a quick gluten-free meal. My husband and I ordered the Chef's Feast. It's a $19.49 pp prix fixe menu that comes with soup or salad, a main and an appetizer to share. If items are marked gluten-free and you ask them to be gluten-free, they're subject to a $1 each upcharge. The meal was mediocre and I ended up drinking my husband's water because I couldn't get a refill from staff - not even the manager guy who was rearranging soy sauce bottles on empty tables. When the check came, my husband noticed that PF Chang's is lying about the dollar amounts being certain percentages on the bottom of the check. I only came in for a cocktail , I sat at the bar and ordered this, unfortunately it came out with white salt and only after I asked, it was explained to me that it would not come out with black salt and apparently not the green sprig either lol.
