Lately I've been getting the avocado pesto sandwich with a side of salad and love it! The flavors are amazing! I also feel healthy once I leave but sometimes... I get the coconut cream pie or the chocolate peanut butter pie. Both are so good. I do favor the coconut cream a little more though. My friend who is not Vegan will come with me here as he also loves the avocado pesto sandwich with a side of salad. I like when he comes because he also buys french fries. Tee hee... I sneak a few. By the way, the fries are also very delicious and perfectly crispy. The staff are very nice here and the chef is always making sure that you enjoyed your meal. He'll ask us how we liked it, but as always, I tell him the truth that it's always delicious!
The staff was very friendly. It was dmaller than I expected. The food did not take long to come out. The food was almost too good to be vegan! It was not the healthiest vegan meal, but definitely a Friday night splurge. It was non formal and take a number and sit.
Now if I was strictly a vegan this place would be 5 stars. My only concern is knowing exactly what ingredients are in the food. For example it would be nice if the "secret sauce" listed the exact ingredients, but I know that would be highly difficult. Anyhow other than the food being really salt forward. I would say this is more of a "cheat meal" place than a "healthy vegan" place. Not saying that's a bad thing. For vegans, I would eat here as a "treat yo sef" meal because the food is pretty good. Just don't think you'll be eating the healthiest food though.
Heading back to California after a week's stay for my bday celebration, we decided to stop in and try out some items at this place. The restaurant is located on the second floor. There are stairs or there's an elevator located close by for the ADA. It is very small inside: 3 tables pushed up against the wall so they only accommodate 3 seats each. About 15 high top chairs around the perimeter of the windows accounted for the bulk of the seating. The service from the staff was very nice and friendly. Since it was our first time, they gave us a chance to look over the menu and ask questions. They were very accommodating to our requests for substitutions and even recooked our French fries to make them softer. My son and I shared the Salami sandwich with fries and I also got the southern fried oyster mushrooms with a Housemade dragonfruit lemonade. My son despises any vegan cheese or vegan mayo and he tore this sandwich UP! He even added extra mayo on his half of the sandwich. The olive jalapeño tapenade was tasty and really pulled the sandwich together but it was slightly spicy so careful to those who are sensitive to spice. The southern seasoned oyster mushrooms were so flavorful. The batter was light and crispy, the mushrooms were sliced thick and not too thin. One of the best I've ever had. The lemonade was okay. Could have used more flavor and more sweetener. Overall, I will definitely be back to try some more items on the menu.
Plant based (vegan) food heaven. They are upstairs across from the AMC theater. They offer online ordering and a reward program. This isn't fast food fare, it's another level. Indoor seating. Great staff. Expected pricing. I'll be back, I want to try the special "beef" bulgogi broccoli pizza...and I'm not sharing the coconut pie next time!
I am so down for Down 2 Earth! We stopped here for lunch on our drive to Vegas. Since this spot is south of the strip, it's conveniently on the way to our hotel. Upon first bite, I was immediately convinced that I wanted to stop by here again for late-lunch before driving home to LA. Our second visit here was even better! I didn't get a chance to ask but I suspect it was a mushroom jerky of sorts. Another standout ingredient was the Prime Roots koji salami. I know, I could probably buy that ingredient and make a sandwich at home but this place makes it with homemade focaccia! Also, what's up with the basil pesto in Avocado Pesto Sandwich? It's so fresh tasting! Meateater Hubby's comment after eating here was "NoButcher who?" No disrespect for NoButcher, though. I was extremely sad when they closed (RIP). The staff here is so friendly and so hyped about the food they serve. Love the energy and good vibes! Down 2 Earth is located on the second floor. Easy parking at this shopping center. I recommend parking near Velocity and walking through it to get to the restaurant. I'm excited for my next trip to Vegas because I plan to eat my way through this menu :)
Was looking for a plant based place to grab dinner and found this place in a open shopping area that was unfortunately really dead....grant it was mid week so hopefully that's one of the reasons it was like that.... Staff were pretty nice and friendly....I did order to go I ordered a Roasted Veggie Pizza....Really good size for about $21 It was an awesome pizza crust, flavor, and the veggies.... Mushrooms, Broccoli, Spinach, Red Onions, Tomatoes, Creamy Garlic and "Cheese".... There are seats inside....the second picture was somebody else's meal eating there and I wanted to make sure that other items can be showcased....Included a Truffle n Mushroom Pizza, Pepperoni Pizza, Fries, Taco Salad, Chicken n Wings, and a Mini Pie among other items. If you are a Vegan/Vegetarian or curious come try this place out!
With a name change in process to Earthly from Down 2 Earth Plant based cuisine, the good news is the menu is not changing. As we have tried many of their dishes, we came by to get a pepperoni and sausage pizza for take away to give to our Pastor at our church who has recently transitioned to a plant based diet. We did get to try an off menu item that they were testing, but now are no longer offering it at this location, but folks can order it from their to-go pizza location at Down 2 Earth Pizzeria on 110 S Rainbow Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89145. https://maps.app.goo.gl/y7fR2XvCAmwkS4gn7?g_st=ipc The item was a deep dish version of their Buffalo Chicken pizza. I have mentioned in my other review that I am not vegan or am I solely on a plant based diet, but even though I'm not either, I really liked this pizza. Had I not recently had lunch prior to coming here, I would have eaten more. I would recommend to try this style of pizza at their to-go Pizzeria.
After dining on cold floppy peanut butter sandwiches, apples, cuties, protein bars, nuts, and oatmeal for four days (see previous review), I was more than ready for a hot substantial meal. I whipped out my handy Yelp app and decided upon Down 2 Earth - my criteria being "not on the Vegas strip" and "somewhat close to the airport." I should have been a little more scrupulous about the actual location of this restaurant, as it's buried in a massive outdoor shopping center - which was very bustling as we happened upon it during F1 weekend. Whoops! We were able to snag some street parking and made our way to Down 2 Earth. The restaurant itself is very casual - like stool seating against the window (allows for some interesting people watching) and a handful of tables. We ended up ordering the Southern Fried Oyster Mushrooms, Chik'n Wings with teriyaki sauce, and two Impossible Hoagie Sandwich. The wings seemed to be seitan based (?), very reminiscent of vegan wings I've had at other vegan restaurants - and very sauced up! The sweet savory teriyaki sauce was particularly satisfying to me after my many days of consuming erm, rather bland food. The mushrooms were great as well - very chewy and a nice crispy breading! The hoagie really brought the "Big Mac" vibes to me! My friend remarked that she couldn't really taste the Impossible bits, but I could discern there were in there - just chopped up little bits. I could have used a better filling versus bread ratio, but I think that's often been the case for me. The food wasn't terribly unique, but i was so happy to chomp down on it during our visit here! The kitchen staff was also so kind of to charge my Apple Watch for me behind the counter! I asked if I could charge it by the entrance, where there was an outlet, and the cashier said they could just charge it behind the counter, to keep it safe for me.
This place is always our first stop on our way from the airport to the hotel in Las Vegas. They have great sandwiches but I can't get past the club salad. It's my favorite. The truffle mushroom pizza rivals Crossroads's, and it's always a toss up between ordering that or a big po boy sandwich. Don't skip the $10 mini coconut cream pie. We made 4 small servings out of it. Located upstairs between the movie theater and comedy club, this place is a little out of the way, but worth the hunt. Very casual: order at counter and they'll bring it out. We recommend!
Fuggin amazing!!! I've ordered takeout (best damn pizza in Vegas; the Detroit style deep dish). They have incredible sandwiches & such tasty desserts! Service inside the restaurant (which is a perfectly sized cafe) is impeccable & the Owner (one half of ownership; She) is so friendly, kind & genuine). Tonite, we ordered takeout & as always, everything was flawless! Thank you Down 2 Earth for being down to earth! unconditional love. always
I had been looking forward to returning to Down-to-Earth Plant-Based Cuisine, especially to try their chicken tenders, fries, and mushrooms. The prices are decent for plant-based food since healthier options are usually pricier, so I was excited Unfortunately, the experience didn't quite meet my expectations this time. The tenders and mushrooms were okay, but the food was a bit greasy. The fries, in particular, seemed old, which was disappointing. Since I'd been anticipating this visit for a while, it left me feeling let down. That said, I'm not giving up on them. I plan to try again, because I know everyone has an off day, and I want to give them another chance.

Great friendly service! Low music playing in the background. I ordered the "Pulled pork" on gluten free bread with a side salad: Yummy flavor with great texture and nice crunch. Salad is refreshing! My spouse ordered the "Po Boy" which came with a choice of fries. In place of shrimp, deep fried oyster mushroom in its place. Fresh veggies mixed in which gave it even more a crunch. So happy for this vegan option at the Town Square in Vegas. read more

We found this gem after seeing a comedy show at town square and loved how the entire menu was plant-based! They also had the yummiest dessert options! We grabbed a peanut butter mini pie and devoured it and had to buy 3 s'mores cookies because they were that good! The cashier was super sweet and answered all of our questions since it was our first time and another employee even brought our food to us when it was ready! Super awesome service and a cool, trendy spot to eat and chill at! We'll definitely be back again soon! read more

10/10!!! WOW WOW WOW! Now I understand why they call it "Fabulous Las Vegas"!! WOW! Where do I begin? For starters, I don't love visiting Vegas because 1) it's entirely too expensive and 2) there aren't many vegan spots on the strip. However, this gem, which is 12min away from the strip, has made Vegas my favorite city! The Mac and Cheese is hands down the best I've ever had!! It is oowee gooey greatness, with a little bit of crispy on the top. The Patty Melt quite literally melts in your mouth and elevates you to vegan paradise! We also liked the Oyster mushrooms and the subsequent po'boy. The Supreme Pizza was also very good AND the cookies were amazing! Needless to say, we ordered it the next day on DoorDash and brought Mac and Cheese home. This is a MUST try. read more

Excellent vegan food to be had at Down 2 Earth/Earthly. We choose to use the free parking behind the AMC and walked around the corner and took the elevator up to vegan food Paradise! The vibe is what you make it here so for us it was chill. Service is prompt and gracious. We will be back for more! read more

The pizza here was INCREDIBLE... we got two pizzas, a pesto veggie and a GF margarita for our toddler. The pesto veggie was supremely flavorful, full of veggies, with the perfect amount of vegan cheese, and an excellent crust. We enjoyed EVERY bite. The GF crust was amazing too - couldn't even tell it was GF. Our toddler enjoyed it a lot. It's hard to find good plant-based pizza, even in LA where we were visiting from. Ambience was chill; unassuming and very comfortable with bar stools. This pizza place is on the 2nd floor, right across the AMC. Service was also excellent. Was glad to meet the chef who was so accommodating to our requests. Big thanks to the team, we can't wait to return! read more

Went for a movie at Town Square and stopped in for a quick bite. So pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. I had the vitality bowl and my husband got the truffle mushroom pizza. Both were amazing! So flavorful. Probably the best vegan pizza we have tried anywhere so far. I highly recommend giving them a try even if you are not vegan. Great tasting food is for all to enjoy. read more

Oh my god this place is SO GOOD!!! I so wish there was one in LA so I could go daily! Cannot describe how exceptional this food was. The incredibly complex and dynamic flavors were unreal. Their Juneteenth special w/ jerk sausage, rib, black eyed peas and cornbread was truly otherworldly. I cannot believe they don't have it on their normal menu but assuming it must be labor intensive as it was so good. The staff was also so nice. Please please go try and support this place they deserve it so much and you will be blown away by the quality of the food. Also get their ranch hahahaha. read more
This is hands down our #1 vegan spot in Vegas this year! We ordered the Cajun Chicken Sandwich, Fish Fry Sandwich, Po'Boy Sandwich, Impossible Hoagie, and the Southern Fried Oyster Mushrooms--and words can't fully capture how incredibly delicious everything was. Each item had its own unique flavor, and nothing was soggy. The Fish Fry Sandwich was a standout favorite with its crispy texture and perfect seasoning. The Southern Fried Oyster Mushrooms were equally amazing--cooked to perfection with a fresh, well-seasoned batter that gave them the perfect texture. No sogginess here, just pure mushroom bliss! The tartar sauce, hot sauce, and secret sauce complemented everything beautifully, from the sandwiches to the fries and mushrooms. Honestly, our only complaint is that we wish they sold their sauces--we'd stock up in a heartbeat! Service was fine and ambiance on point. My wife and friends all thoroughly enjoyed the meal, and we have zero complaints. Highly recommend this spot to anyone, vegan or not--it's an absolute must-try! read more

Decided to check this place out after seeing a Instagram post by Tabitha Brown. I wanted to try the "Fish" sandwich but was advised by the owner who the cashier that they were sold out and they get their mushroom orders on Friday. Owner then recommended the poo ye sandwich. I ordered that along with fries and a Diet Coke plus tip which came to $24.63. The grease the oyster mushrooms was fried in was old . My fries ordered the pepperoni pizza with garlic sauce. It wasn't great, the garlic sauce was more like a mayonnaise. All in all I wouldn't go backward read more

Easily the best vegan food in Vegas. The consistency is there and every visit the food tastes exactly the same and is always fresh and piping hot. Services fairly quick and the staff are all super friendly. They can be hard to find since they're located upstairs behind coffee bean but once you find blue martini just next door it's easy to locate them. The sausage pizza has become my favorite along with the oyster poboy, highly recommend extra ranch as well !! read more

Hands down the best fried oyster mushrooms I've ever had in life!!! I also got the breakfast platter. The pancakes and hash brown were good. The house salad was good. My husband got the po boy sandwich and he loved it! We thought about going twice in a weekend, it was that good. The customer service is on point. Several employees asked us how we were doing and how the food was. We even got to meet the owner who is super down to earth (I guess that's fitting) and passionate about his food. Brunch is served all day! It's a cute little spot. Definitely must visit when you're in Vegas. read more
This vegan po'boy.... if we lived in the area this would become dangerous access to us. This was amazing... 10/10! The restaurant is located in a town square mall on the second floor. It was a little hidden, but overall it was great and as Vegas is hot, I understood the blasting AC, but it did feel a little bit uncomfortable. The busser was very attentive, we appreciated his service. read more

This is hands down the best vegan pizza in the nation! I have tried many vegan pizzerias and I can honestly say that Down 2 Earth is the best of the best! The crust is crispy and chewy with a hint of char, and it's light and airy. The sauce is sweet and savory with creamy cheese. Yum! The crispy oyster mushrooms are insanely delicious as well. I don't even know where to begin. This food? Next level. And let me be clear: I'm a meat eater. A BBQ ribs, fried chicken, don't-talk-to-me-unless-it-had-a-heartbeat meat eater. My macaroni and cheese usually comes with a minimum of four cheeses, a block of cream cheese, and a splash of evaporated milk just for razzle dazzle. But this!? What we just ate here puts every meat dish and every mac and cheese I've ever had to shame. It was our first time, and we almost played it safe with Yardhouse. But then like divine intervention, a guy walked in, dapped up the chef like they were cousins, and started giving his friend the play-by-play on every dish like it was ESPN. That was our sign to stay. We ordered the truffle mac and cheese, the steak and cheese, and the oyster mushrooms. The flavor? Unimaginably delicious. The mac and cheese was rich, creamy, and hit every note while still tasting like something from your thick armed grandmothers kitchen. And the steak and cheese? I swear on my taste buds, it tasted like an authentic Jersey cheesesteak!! And as if that wasn't enough, the chef came out and greeted everyone like we were all family. Location: at town square across from the movie theater. I'm not a vegan, but my friends are, so we came here. The food is reasonably priced. The food is cooked fresh. My spouse couldn't believe it was all vegan and plant-based. He thought he was eating real meat. Definitely one of my top vegan spots to eat at. The pizzas are nice portions also. Cute little spot to grab lunch or dinner. read more

Down 2 Earth is one of my favourite spots in town, I only wish their prices were a little bit more affordable! Their food is delicious and filling. Flavour is not compromised here. There's some barstool seating and some small tables, and service is great. You order at the counter and then they'll bring out everything. I love to sit at the barstools and people watch everyone coming in and out of the AMC. It's great to come get a bite here before a movie or after shopping. read more
In my first two reviews, I wrote about the Impossible Hoagie and Beef N' Broccoli Pizza. More recently, for brunch, I've had the Breakfast Sandwich and Breakfast Platter, which were both very good and filling when I split them with another person. During my most recent visit, at night, I again had the Breakfast Sandwich, partly because it was lower-priced compared to most other items on the menu. While it was being prepared, I could hear the oil bubbling in the deep fryer. There was nobody in line ahead of me, so the food was brought to me quickly. It was very hot, as it had just come out of the fryer. So, I should have waited for 10 minutes before eating it. As I've mentioned in my other reviews, the seating area is minimal, with not much to look at, so you're better off getting the food to go. The menu pricing is rather expensive, on par with a place like Yard House. It is made up entirely of comfort foods, much of which is fried. Sandwiches and Pizza are what they specialize in. Service is friendly and attentive. read more
