This is a review on the one located inside of Fremont hotel and casino. This location was busy at this time lots of people eating here. The cashier was friendly and smiling, she took out order and told us it wouldn't be long. We got the #1 combo and the fresco melt. These are both great choices super tasty and very well cooked, my only complaint to that both were super oily so much it was soaked through the paper it was wrapped in. Still it was cooked good and tasted fresh. The fries are well cooked and crispy just how I like them. Drinks are fountain soda they have Pepsi products. They have lots of places to sit as this is near their food court. At this time this is only place open here at this hour of the day. So give this place a try and happy eating...

Fremont Street is a way to have some fun. After a long weekend of walking, drinking, and playing music all around you time for food. We stopped in here for some food and shakes. The shakes that they serve are just epic. The burgers are pretty delicious too. The manager of the store does it all ! She was just lovely. She smiled and made small conversations about our prior plans and fun on Fremont . It made the time pass! Then here's the food. The food rocked! It was hot and delicious! All we needed truly! That shake it the spot. When you are playing in Fremont here's the place to stop and get your craving fulfilled.

This location is in the Fremont Hotel and Casino. Sharing a spot in a clean and spacious food court. The service was slow . Twenty minutes to make 2 Strawberry Shakes. Although the Shakes were delicious. Enjoy

While staying at the Fremont Hotel, I tried Steak 'n Shake for the first time. I ordered the chili cheese fries to go, and they were so good! I really liked that they used the skinnier fries, and the chili had really good flavor. I also didn't have to wait very long for my order, which was a plus. I would definitely get the chili cheese fries again!

I was down three hundred my first night in Vegas. And came across this big sign they said a burger meal for 4.99. I needed something good and fast I had been gambling all night. Boy did I come to the right place. This place was clean and had great service. This burger was better than any fast food burger chain and came with fries and a drink. You can't beat it. It was the middle of the night and I was in a bad mood from losing money at the casino. But the staff here was friendly and made sure I got fed quality food with the quickness. Thank you steak and shake!

Cheap eats on Fremont st are a plus. The $5 burger fry drink combo are what lured me in. Ask for no ice on the drink since the cup is super small lol and no refills. Not a bad quick snack. The milkshakes are the star of this spot

I love ordering their 5.99 special which includes a small burger, fries and small drink. I was recently informed that I can no longer add cheese to my burger for 50 cents or a dollar more whatever it is. So plain burger from now on.

Steak & Shake was one place to eat at after 12 pm opened 24 hours here in the Fremont food court so off to get a burger not bad prices the burger was good however not a fan of shoe string French fries my combo was burger French fries and drink for $13 not a bad deal

I had a shake. It was tasty. People working were good too. Lunch time had a long line. The burger must be good too.

The food was not bad but you don't get much for the price. The burger was as small as a Mc Donald's double cheeseburger but cost as much as a Red Robin burger. Overall the service was good and the mood / ambiance was of a quick service restaurant. I understand the need to increase prices due to the Vegas area but there should be more product. I recommend trying it yourself and see what you think.

A word of warning, despite offering street tacos, this isn't really "fast" food, I stood in line for nearly an hour at lunchtime on a Friday. I don't have much experience in other taco places to compare, but I only go to places that offer more than asada. Is the place amazing good? Not sure to say but I will say if you like soft and tender lengua and crispy, semi fatty tripa then I like it best here so far. Is it overhyped? Maybe, but I think they're good.

There's a small kitchen area where the menu is and where you place your order. Cooks are viciously making the orders that others are placing, and you can hear the constant sizzling of hot dogs on their grills. They have bar seating on the other side along with a bunch of tables close by but they were all taken since it was prime dinner time at 7:30pm on The Strip and people were walking all around the area. We decided to eat over at a nearby taco joint in the end. Both of us got their D.U.I. Dog, which has pastrami, carne asada, cheddar cheese, bacon bits, a ton of cilantro and chipotle aioli (a mayonnaise kind of sauce). Very packed with flavor with all the meats inside, and the cheese melts so well inside the hot dog. They even put this inside a relatively big carton container, the same kind I've seen the staff put their D.U.I. Fries in... holy crap those are some huge portions! For $18 before tax though, this hot dog was already slightly massive for its size, at just about a foot long. Very nice start to a great time in Vegas! The Strip location is specifically outdoors and there's a decent amount of seating, but they can fill up quickly when it's busy. There's also a location inside the Showcase Mall if you'd prefer to sit indoors. I may be biased because I also love hot dogs, but I will definitely be back for more.

The dining room was huge, the tables were spotless, and the seats were actually comfortable enough to sit and relax for a bit. Ordering was a little confusing though. They have multiple kiosks available, but for some reason only one was open for use when we visited. That created a bit of a line and made the ordering process take longer than it probably needed to. After ordering, we waited about 15 minutes for our food. We decided to keep it simple and ordered the Patty Melt with fries. The Patty Melt comes with two beef patties, Monterey Jack cheese, grilled onions, and creamy pepper sauce on toasted Texas toast. Honestly, I really enjoyed it. Everything that was advertised was actually there. The Texas toast was toasted perfectly with a nice buttery crunch on the outside while still being soft inside. It was messy in the way a good patty melt should be. I was convinced I was going to love the spicy ketchup because people talk about it all the time. It ended up being just okay for me. There was a slightly weird aftertaste that I couldn't quite put my finger on. The real star was the honey butter. I can totally see why people are obsessed with it. It was sweet, buttery, and ridiculously good. Dipping the fries into it sounds a little strange, but it worked. It added this rich sweetness that reminded me of sweet buttered corn on the cob. Honestly, I kept thinking about how good it would probably be with chicken tenders.

Disappointing Experience as Returning Local Customers…read more We are Las Vegas locals and had visited Rollin Smoke Barbecue before. Our previous experiences were great, so when we were craving barbecue, we decided to return expecting another enjoyable meal. We ordered several combo meals to take home so we could try a variety of meats, sandwiches, and sides. One thing that caught us off guard was the $8 upcharge per sandwich to make it a combo ($16 total for the two sandwiches we ordered). We understand that upgrades cost extra, but those charges should be explained clearly when customers are ordering. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. The portions seemed smaller than we remembered. The barbecue sauce was much sweeter than we expected and overpowered the flavor of the meat instead of complementing it. Some of the meats and sandwiches were also bland, lacking the rich, smoky barbecue flavor we remembered. There also wasn't much barbecue meat on the sandwiches, making them feel skimpy for the price. This isn't about being cheap--it's about value. We don't mind paying for good barbecue, but for the price we expected more. The combo didn't feel worth the extra cost. The side portions were very small. We were also concerned about the restroom. It was located near the kitchen, appeared rundown, and did not seem properly maintained or sanitized. A toilet brush was leaning against the wall, which added to the unclean appearance. Its condition made us question the restaurant's overall cleanliness and whether proper handwashing and food-handling practices were being followed. The most concerning issue happened after we ate the food at home. Both of us became very sick after eating from the same order. The photos included with this review were originally taken because we planned to share a positive post supporting a local restaurant we had enjoyed. We even noticed the sign encouraging customers to take photos, tag the restaurant, and share their experience. Unfortunately, after what happened, we decided to include the photos only to document our visit, what we ordered, and the condition of the restaurant. Between the unexpected combo upcharges, small portions, skimpy sandwiches, overly sweet barbecue sauce, bland food, cleanliness concerns, and both of us becoming sick afterward, this was a very disappointing experience. We hope management takes these concerns seriously and reviews its food preparation, storage, sanitation, restroom maintenance, and overall quality control. Sadly, after this experience, we no longer feel comfortable returning.
