As someone who had never tried Whataburger before, this is my review. The first thing I noticed was how clean this location was. Like, really clean. The dining room was huge, the tables were spotless, and the seats were actually comfortable enough to sit and relax for a bit. Ordering was a little confusing though. They have multiple kiosks available, but for some reason only one was open for use when we visited. That created a bit of a line and made the ordering process take longer than it probably needed to. After ordering, we waited about 15 minutes for our food. We decided to keep it simple and ordered the Patty Melt with fries. The Patty Melt comes with two beef patties, Monterey Jack cheese, grilled onions, and creamy pepper sauce on toasted Texas toast. Honestly, I really enjoyed it. Everything that was advertised was actually there. The Texas toast was toasted perfectly with a nice buttery crunch on the outside while still being soft inside. It was messy in the way a good patty melt should be. I was convinced I was going to love the spicy ketchup because people talk about it all the time. It ended up being just okay for me. There was a slightly weird aftertaste that I couldn't quite put my finger on. The real star was the honey butter. I can totally see why people are obsessed with it. It was sweet, buttery, and ridiculously good. Dipping the fries into it sounds a little strange, but it worked. It added this rich sweetness that reminded me of sweet buttered corn on the cob. Honestly, I kept thinking about how good it would probably be with chicken tenders.
My foodie friend and I tried this place for the first time on a Friday morning around 11pm. We wanted to feel full before day clubbing so this was our choice for food. It's got two floors for seating though the stairs to the second floor was blocked off for the duration of our visit. Being a fast food place, interior is somewhat dull yet there's tons of seating for groups and solo dining. You place your order at one of several kiosks just opposite the front counter where staff call your name once your food is ready. You can order food from either this place or Parry's Pizza which this place seems to share space and probably a kitchen with as I saw staff making both burgers and pizza behind the counter. I got their Monterey melt burger with sweet tea and large fries for a combo meal. Each dine-in tray comes with your food along with two each of regular ketchup and spicy ketchup, which is just ketchup with jalapeno taste. The burger itself was juicy, delectable and a little above standard quality. The melt itself was really good and burger held up all right despite the slippery condiments. Fries were definitely standard; it was a good balance of salty and pairs well with either ketchup. I'm actually surprised how many people there were inside since there's a lot other places to eat around the Las Vegas Strip; it was nearly a full house on just the first floor throughout our stay. I can see why though; their burgers are a hit for it being a fast food place!
As a native Californian, I've always heard how great Whataburger was from all of my friends in Texas. This is as close as I can get! Being on the Las Vegas Strip, it would seem hard to compete against other fast food chains, foods from casino properties, and restaurants that have been around forever, however, this place was filled with people after midnight. Shout outs to leaving the fountain drinks open so that we can refill drinks ourselves! The food was great and the service was fantastic!
My husband and I haven't had Whataburger since the last time we were in Texas (6 years ago!!) it's just as good as we remember! So glad we stopped in here!
This was my first time trying Whataburger, and I was really excited to finally see what the hype was about. Overall, it was just okay. I ordered the patty melt with fries and a chocolate shake. The portion sizes were great--everything was a good size, and the drinks were huge, which I appreciated. Flavor-wise, the food itself was decent. The burger was good, and nothing tasted bad. The main issue was the wait time and temperature of the food. Our order (3 burgers, 3 fries, 1 milkshake, and 2 drinks) took about 20 minutes, and when we finally got it, everything was lukewarm to cold. After that kind of wait, I was expecting hot, crispy fries and a fresh, warm burger, so that was disappointing. We also selected dine-in but were given our food in a to-go bag while others received trays, which was a bit confusing. The staff seemed pretty stressed and irritated, so I didn't feel comfortable asking for the food to be remade. I didn't hate it, but it didn't really live up to expectations either. I'd be open to trying a different location that might be less busy, but this visit was just okay.

Now, this is the first time I've had Whataburger so your mileage may vary. Maybe it's better in Texas? Regardless, the burger was incredibly mediocre. I always finish my burgers, but I didn't finish this one. The burger was big, but it was just kind of bland. Too much mustard, and the patty seemed to try to grilled, but it didn't have that completely grilled taste either. Cheese costs extra. Service was extremely slow, first of all. They definitely need more staff. All the kiosks were down, so everyone was in a massive line to order with one person. Their fancy and spicy ketchup is free (regular and 'spicy - jalapeno'), other sauces cost 40 cents. Fries were under-salted and not crispy. Onion rings were quite decent, actually. I took a quick look online to see what else they were known for and people recommended the patty melt. It's decent - I can see the vision with the grilled onions and thousand island-esque sauce, but the proportions were off - not enough sauce/onions. The two meat patties had decent flavor. They have an assortment of milkshakes, and my husband enjoyed his chocolate milkshake enough. I thought it was way too sweet. Kind of disappointed I trekked all the way out there to try it and it wasn't that great.
I can't lie the burger is pretty damn good... Although don't get lettuce or tomatoes in it.. It gets pretty wet if that makes sense. We waited no more than 12 minutes and the staff is definitely a smiling bunch which brought that Texas hospitality charm to the vegas life. The one downfall is the price.. These burgers are good but I paid 11.99 for mine and that's without a meal. They could use some buzzer to give because standing in front of the pickup area like a hawk is a little intense especially when your hungry . I see potential here but I definitely understand the negative reviews.. Management just needs to listen and these problems can easily be fixed. By the way the spicy ketchup is 100% the greatest thing on earth.
Stop by the place for lunch while out walking the strip! It's a kool place to get a quick bit to eat from pizza to burgers and chicken sandwiches and they got drinks from tea to soda and bears both in cans and on tap! I have the number 10 which was a chicken sandwich combo with fries and a drink and it was really good! The service was very quick we walked in and ordered right away! The ambiance was like you typical burger joint but a little more modern and upscale! I would highly recommend this place if you just want a quick bit to eat while adventuring out on the strip!
We went to Whataburger on the strip in a late Saturday night after Paul McCartney''s concert. This is located at the Aria/ City Center Property in front of Waldorf. Plenty of late night diners. There are few tables and shared tables. I noticed some homeless people going in and out of their bathrooms. So you order your food and they will call your name once ready. As for the chicken strips, it was tough and with thick coating, and when you checked there chicken strip was so thin so pretty much you are mostly eating the coating. When I lived in Texas I remember it as a good meal. Hubby ordered a patty melt, and it tasted not to my liking. I wonder if they changed their recipe. This location is on the strip so no parking available right outside the door, you have to park at Aria Casino parking lot and then walk to the restaurant.
Very greasy food, but delicious. It's good to have it occasionally when on vacation. I cannot imagine eating this frequently, thank goodness this is nowhere near my home! Highly recommend their jalapeño ranch sauce! We poured that thing on our burgers and fries.
Heard really good things about this fast food chain and was super happy they opened one on the strip. Came here late night after we arrived in town and tried the bacon cheese burger and a patty melt with a side of fries and onion rings. The cheese in bacon cheese burger the was not melty but it was fine. The melt, fries, and onion rings were ok. Nothing amazing but at least they open late.
Ok so I been wanting to try this place and said next time I'm in Vegas I will try it, guess what I finally did! The final result is it's ok, tastes like a Wendy's burger but a bit more pricey. The hype and hope I had for it really didn't match the meal. Burger just plain, but good choice on the Brioche bun, I think it made a good difference on my burger. Quick service for being on the strip, maybe I was there when it wasn't too busy but I mean I can say I tried it and wasn't disappointed or ecstatic more of in between. 7/10
First time trying whataburger and there are some pros and cons to this place. First, They have the kiosks where you place your order. Im not sure if you can even order in person or pay cash as I didn't see a cashier or cash registers. The price is a bit high, you can go across the street to in n out and I think you'll pay a few dollars less. I got the regular whataburger meal and it was actually pretty good. The burger had a nice charbroiled taste. They do put a lot of mustard and put quite a bit of chopped up onions, so I think you can customize your burger when you're ordering if you don't like too much of either. The fries were actually really good. Still nice and crispy even after my mile walk back to my hotel. Overall, it's a decent burger and fries that I would say is a bit better than fast food burgers and on par with In-N-Out. read more

Came in for a quick meal. Had stayed down the strip for our anniversary and had some great meals, and finished with Whataburger I had the green hatch chili burger while the wife had the bacon cheeseburger. I've always wanted to try Whataburger since I was in middle school. Never got a chance to go to Texas for it but finally tried it here in Vegas. It was pretty good but not mind blowing. I opted to try the Patty Melt and it was a pretty big sandwich. A bit on the bland side but not bad. The fries were a but inconsistent with some being salted well and some being unsalted. The spicy ketchup complimented the fries and patty melt well though. read more

I've been hearing how Whataburger is supposedly as good as In N Out for years so this has been a long time coming. I'm not ashamed to say I ate here everyday for multiple days on end. It's becoming a point of pride, actually. That Patty Melt with all the fixings is something to kill for. If you've ever had an in n out burger, those last few bites with everything kinda just soaked up that sauce and that melted cheese on the wrapper...that was like that but in every bite. I'll make that 4 hour road trip just for that. But then that shake?? I love Dr Pepper, but this is the first time I've seen a Dr Pepper milkshake, much less a blackberry infused one. I'll try to describe it but to me it's 100% the best thing on that menu. It's almost like Dr Pepper notes mixed in with a really smooth chocolate and it's really to kill for. Like potentially multiple people, plus it comes in Texas portions which is always nice. No small, just medium and large. Not to mention a greaaaaat chaser. The ambience is kinda unexpected but welcome. This was on Christmas so we basically got an IMAX showing of the game for free. All in all, Whataburger was everything I thought and more. The only thing I would say is although it beats In N Out in pure flavor, cost-benefit wise it gets blown out the water. The whole combo was about $20, but a #1 at In N Out is like 12. All in all, Whataburger was everything I thought and more and it wouldn't be off the table to say it beats In N Out. read more
First time trying whataburger and honestly not impressed or looking forward to next time. Thankfully this was a late night option and despite a line it moved quickly. Food didn't take that long to be ready to go either. They did have no covers for their larger style drinks out for us and a worker said they didn't have any in house at all. Probably due to being Vegas but they do have a bar with food service which was unique for a fast food spot. My wife tried the Bacon & Cheese Whataburger that was disappointing, dry and lacking much flavor compared to some other chains. I tried their Avacado Bacon Burger, with the meat still dry and overall disappointing. Avacado gave some freshness and it was a nice difference of Texas toast being used instead of a typical bun. Maybe an off visit though as the Texas toast wasn't toasted that well and was also lacking overall. The fries were really similar to McDonald's in style and taste. Nothing of note for those really, likely even preferring McDonald's fries if I had to pick. Like I said, maybe we visited on an off day or maybe we didn't order the right things. But the name would make you believe any burger is a good call. This was not the case for us. Despite no rush to do so, I would give Whataburger a future try and maybe it'll improve my thoughts. read more

I've had it in Texas, then tried this one in Vegas. People like to compare it to In N Out, tbh it's not really the same category but it is really good, you cannot beat an In N Out burger though. Anyway I got the spicy chicken sandwich with some fries. The sandwich got a good spice to it, better than Chic Fil A's sandwich in my opinion. The fries are McDonald's shaped but not all that, just regular fries. The chicken sandwich is a banger though. Love they have this in Vegas. This is one of the best fast food burger joints in Texas and now it's in Vegas. The favorite is the patty melt as it's packed with flavor. Their burgers are huge and you can pile on the toppings. The staff is super friendly and it moves pretty fast. Location is tough to get to but totally worth the walk. read more

Five stars for the Whataburger in Las Vegas. It was so good. Being from Texas and now living in California, this is the closest one to me and it always satisfies the craving. I was so excited to eat it again. The cashier was super nice and friendly. She chatted with us and I told her my little story about being from Texas. This visit definitely felt like home. The location is huge inside and it's also paired with a pizza spot if you're in the mood for something else. read more

I walked into Whataburger at high noon, expecting a casual bite. Instead, I was greeted by a sonic assault so vile it felt like the soundtrack to a cursed Walmart parking lot. Imagine a playlist curated by a sleep-deprived demon who just discovered auto-tune and heartbreak. That music didn't just play--it throbbed, like a migraine without a Spotify subscription doing free weights in the parking lot. The service was very good. Smiling faces, prompt delivery, not a single fry out of place. I half expected the cashier to whisper, "You shouldn't be here," but instead they handed me my tray like I hadn't just entered a fast-food purgatory. The place was spotless. Like someone had scrubbed away the evidence of something unspeakable. I sat down with my meal--fries, an apple pie, and a patty melt--and braced myself. The burger was delicious. The fries were crisp. The apple pie tasted like it had been baked by someone who still believes in joy. It was unnerving. So here I am, chewing through existential dread and melted cheese, wondering if this is what it feels like to dine in a parallel universe where everything is good except the music, which sounds like a robot crying in a bathtub. Would I go back? Absolutely. But next time, I'm bringing noise-canceling headphones and a priest. read more
Being from Texas, we miss everything Texas! So Whataburger coming to Vegas was a taste of home! The food is great and since it's Vegas there is a bar inside so I got a margarita to drink with my food. Sorry but this has to be most saddest burger ever! I ordered a Bacon Cheese Whataburger and this is what they gave me for $11.55! This is just for the burger and yes I know I'm on the strip so I have to pay Vegas strip prices. BUTTT, I am so outraged by how flat the bun was and squished, non melted cheese (who does this?!?), and scattered chunks of lettuce, and overall disgusted by how this looked. NON Appetizing! And we ate there so it wouldn't have been squished in a bag. WTH! And I tried to order a double meat whataburger for my husband, and they told me they cant do 2 patties on a burger because they cant? What and why would you advertise #2 (double meat) on your menu when you cant add an extra patty on your burger. Makes zero sense so I had to get 2 whataburgers for him which in the end cost me more! At least the fries were ok and were seasoned well. But still total hard pass, there's much better burgers anywhere else but here! read more

Came here to grab lunch for me and a few others. Inside dining area is extremely spacious with the ability seat a good amount of people. It is also really clean, which is nice considering it's on the strip. Customer service was extremely friendly and they cut through the line really quickly, which is nice considering how busy I'm sure this location gets. Low stars because quite frankly the order execution was incorrect. Although the order was taken correctly, I specifically asked for my sandwich with no tomato which it shows on the receipt, but resulted in the sandwich being delivered with tomato. I also never received french fries which are also on the receipt. read more
Hella nasty and sloppy. I was so excited to eat here since everyone kept saying it was good... it's not. That's my opinion. Overpriced and overrated. service was good,until i got my burger order the bacon and avocado. Couldn't find the avocado and grave me one piece of bacon that he broke into pieces. Very disappointed. When ask the guy about it he said looks good to me as he was walking away. Yes ask me if i wanted get something different and i just wast some avocado and bacon but never came back until time for check. First and last. Big place has lots of room read more

Mis favoritas burgers Cada que viajo para texas lo primero que hago es comer burgers the whataburger.. mucha mi emoción saver que abia una nueba. Locación en las vegas y en la primera oportunidad que tube. Pude ir a probarlas pero en realidad quede desepcionado nada que ver. My husband has been dying to try Whataburger, so we finally went to their location in Las Vegas. We both ordered a Whataburger and shared French fries. The burgers were not as good as we expected. They were just OK, nothing special. The fries were crispy and good. I was excited to try the spicy ketchup, but I didn't like it at all. We definitely won't be going back to this restaurant again. read more

No they just had the regular chocolate, strawberry and vanilla or you can get one of these in a malt version!
