Popped in for an easy meal after traveling. Chicken was tasty, tender, and portion size was perfect for my partner and me. This could be a meal for one, but we opted to share. The tender sizes are what you would expect, the batter crisp and the chicken not dry. We got the BBQ and the Nashville Hot sauces. The Nashville is not super spicy with a nice little cayenne kick. At the Luxor in Las Vegas, this hidden gem Chicken Tender Original is located in this food court on the top floor of Luxor. I noticed the cooks hand prep every tender breading it to make sure it's crunchy. I find that to be the difference from an already breaded frozen chicken tender vs. a non frozen chicken tender. These chicken tenders are comparable to Raising Canes Chicken Tenders , but slightly better. When I bit into one, you get the crunchiness, the seasoning , the moisture and tenderness of the chicken. It was pretty delicious I have to say. My girlfriend agrees and she doesn't like Raising Canes for some reason, but she loved these. It also comes with a thousand Island dipping sauce that enhances the favor even more. The shoe string fries are yummy and hot & fresh . The Texas toast seasoned with garlic and butter compliments the meal well. The cole slaw was okay , but not bad. I definitely would come here again to eat. I was actually amazed at their food quality coming from a food court spot! I'm sure the Original Chicken Tender was the best option compared to what was around (hot dog, pizza, sandwich). I got the new hot honey tenders 3PC combo. It came with fries, toast and their signature sauce. First, the fries were skinny and perfectly fried. Chicken tender though? I actually liked them better than Cane's for a reference. It had a light, crispy fry and the inside was hot and tender. The sauce itself was delicious, sweet at first and then you feel the kick afterward. Only complaint I would have is there was way too much sauce on the chicken. Instead of it being tossed or coated, it looks like they took a ladle and poured sauce all over the chicken. The toast was good, I mean bread is usually always good. And their sauce tasted like canes with more garlic. I saw that they got negative reviews because of service. When we went the service was fine. They were nice and friendly and served our food quickly. The ambiance is loud since it's the food court inside the Luxor. The original thousand island based sauce (it's like a chipotle thousand island dip) is money, while the bbq sauce is not. Mashed Potatoes - If you're charging me an extra $1 for mashed potatoes over fries and you forget to put gravy on the potatoes or on the side, I am gonna be pissed. I didn't find out until I got back to my room and I wasn't about to walk another 500 steps back for them to fix it. Maybe things sucked because I ordered after 10 p.m. (they are open until midnight every night, so no excuses!). At these prices, they need to get things right. However, the tenders were packed very badly. The food was simply placed in a brown paper bag with no covering and the sauce on the chicken leaked through the bag. It was a mess.
