Double bacon cheeseburger and fries
Malcolm C.

Located in the Horseshoe casino food court, old school diner set up, classic burgers and fries. Johnny Rockets always hits the spot fresh delicious cooked to order. Service here is good, you can also see your order being prepared fresh. It's very expensive for a burger meal, double bacon cheeseburger and fries is just over $28.00, doesn't even come with a drink, it's Vegas so expect the prices.

Located in the basement of the mall area at Horseshoe Las Vegas, Johnny Rockets resides within the food court. Parking is available exclusively in the hotel garage. The restaurant boasts numerous seating options and emulates a traditional diner. We visited on 1/5/25. The initial stages of our visit were pleasant as we placed our orders, but the atmosphere shifted when a staff member rapidly exited and strode towards the back. In the meantime, the manager, who was on a phone call, gave us a cursory glance before finalizing our order. It was noticeable that the staff member neglected to offer an apology, which seemed discourteous. Opting to dine in at the counter, we were taken aback to find our food prepared in bags and served on plastic plates, reminiscent of a take-out order. The breakfast we had was comparable to a high school or military meal. The eggs were powdered, the sausage was dry, and the rest of the food was unremarkable, except for the pancakes. The pancakes were the standout item. We were moderately disappointed. The overall experience felt like a fast-food restaurant. We ordered the American Breakfast, which was priced around $49.72 for two people and included two orange juices. The price was high for the quality of food we received. Furthermore, we had to request our orange juice from the staff, who then pointed us in the direction of bottled orange juice, which was misleadingly advertised as a freshly squeezed beverage in a cup. We were just disappointed all around. There are bathrooms near the place which is a plus. Overall 2.0/5

After missing dinner and wanting to grab what I though would be a quick and inexpensive dinner turned out to be one of the most expensive meals I paid for in Vegas. I could understand if this was a celebrity chef restaurant, but it's a chain restaurant tucked away in a corner at the end of a casino. I approached the counter to place my order and didn't expect it to be much. I ordered the Rocket Single, tots, and a large sweet tea. Sticker shock set in when I was told it was nearly $30. But after not eating and being hungry, I wasn't in a place to haggle. Having been to several other of these locations, the ambiance and atmosphere was not up to their standard. At other locations it is usually table service and they would give you a plate with a design on it in ketchup. Not here, you basically find yourself a seat and wait for your order to be ready. I will say even though the portions where smaller than I expected it definitely hit the spot. The burger was prepared to order and tasted fresh. The tots, miniscule at best, were an appropriate side. Just wish there were more of them, especially when I ordered them elsewhere I got more than a little moat of them. Once you finish you take you tray to the trash and leave. There really isn't much to this place. But it does have a nice view outside. You can people watch while you eat and spy the monorail as it passes by.

Stayed at Horseshoe LAs Vegas and wanted something tasty to eat one night, so we walked downstairs to the food court and decided to try Johnny Rockets. The diner atmosphere is a vibe. They had us order, sit down at the counter, and wait for our food to be freshly made before our eyes. The burger was fresh, delicious, well seasoned and to die for. Solid cheeseburger with big taste and great appearance. The strawberry milkshake was picture perfect, and tasted just as sweet. Well balanced and very creamy. The fries were fairly standard but hot, so on point! Definitely a 10/10, and will be a stable for future trips to Vegas!

There are two considerations for the review. 1. It's Vegas 2. A vegetarian walks into a hamburger joint. Overall, it was an ok experience. The waitstaff is pleasant, but the service is slow, considering I was one of two there, I wouldn't want to go when it's crowded. My veggie burger was good, not great, and a reasonable portion for a quick-serve restaurant. $36 for the burger, fries, and a coconut water. It's Vegas but the price gouging is unreasonable. It's not a bad last option.

10 years to go from $10 to $13. Less than 3 years to go from $13 to $23!!! Vega's is a perfect example of the American way in 2024.

Looking for a cheap option for a burger? Don't come here. You'll pay way too much for a Johnny Rockets burger. Other than that the service was fine and it was clean. Vegas prices are severely out of control!!!

The burger and fries are really good here. They don't offer kids meals so I ordered a Rocket Meal plain and asked them cut the burger in half, it was more than enough for my two kids to share. The meal however does not include a drink. So a meal for 17.99 and no drink is a bit steep in my opinion.

Good food, but with a price that reflects its convenient location. Also service is more of self service and average atmosphere

My hamburger was completely raw and the fries were not fresh and way too salty! I would not recommend plus it being $70 for three hamburgers

It is conveniently located near the hotel lobby check-in area and elevators to the Augustus, Octavius, and Julius Tower rooms. We arrived for breakfast around 10am on a Tuesday morning. The wait was about 15 minutes, but the line seemed to move pretty quickly. We were seated at a table for two in the middle of the dining room. It was very busy, and we were greeted after about ten minutes. We placed our order about five minutes later. I think our order was lost in the shuffle, as it was about a half hour before our food came out. A couple sat down next to us after we arrived, ordered, and they got their food before us. I had the All American breakfast with two eggs over easy, sourdough toast, bacon, and breakfast potatoes ($26). This was an average sized plate of food. The bacon was very good, and it was extra smoky which was a nice surprise. She had the avocado toast ($21) with add-ons of picked red onion ($3) and an egg ($3). It came with an arugula salad and she enjoyed it. The portion sizes were average, and it's on the expensive side, but this is a café inside of a Las Vegas casino, so you're paying for convenience. It is a good place to grab a bite 24/7 if you want something better than breakfast at Starbucks or something from the food court. Final rating: 3.5 stars rounded up to 4 stars.

For a generic-sounding 24/7 spot, my lunch was not that bad…read more Cafe Americano is a restaurant available at Paris Las Vegas and also at Caesars Palace, the latter of which I decided to check out since I've been accumulating reward credits on my players card lately. Word to the wise though: they convert 200 reward credits to $1.00, which is apparently a Caesars thing so I'm more likely to complain about that if I do a Caesars review. But then again, if I'd known ahead of time, I might not have splurged. Anyway, I was able to be seated right away, although I got stuck at a more dimly lit table since the host said they didn't have a server to cover the area near the windows. Whatever. At least I got to place my order quickly. The Cuban Sandwich ($27.00) was a pretty large portion on its own and came with a heap of thin French fries. The sandwich was panini-pressed and contained a lot of meat and the requisite Cubano accoutrements, but it could have used some mayo to lube up said meat. It was multiple tiers below the best Cuban sandwich I've had. The fries were crispy and went well alone or with the ketchup, but they weren't the most fluffy inside. The Passion Fruit Mojito ($12.00) is one of their mocktails and was really the more delicious and memorable part of the meal for me. The passion fruit flavor was prominent and it worked well with the mint and a touch of lime. I actually appreciated that there wasn't any liquor flavor to distract from the blend. Cafe Americano is fine for a quick fix, but I would probably rather commit to other sit-down restaurants if I'm dining at Caesars Palace, especially if I know that they have better reward credits ratios.

This is a small place with a window to order and pay. They have the menu showing on the front and you can see the staff preparing the food as it is glass. There are a couple of tables in front where you can sit but they are first come first serve and shared with other businesses. The food came out relatively quick. The grape leaves were good just not as citrusy as I'm used to. The sandwich was big and a bit messy to eat so I used utensils. The flavor was really good.
