During my visits, I witnessed the restaurant positive handled of a peak hour visit, Sunday December 28 around 10 30 am. Cleanliness - From my seat, I could see into the kitchen. One staff member repeatedly touched the bottoms of trays with her gloves and then grabbed bread and pancakes to hand out orders, not a great look. It took almost 35 minutes for a single item (Value Slam, no drink). Service - Our server was friendly, prompt, and knowledgeable, but seemed a bit impatient, possibly because we were her last customers of the day. In reading other reviews, it looks as though this place can be on or off. In an attempt to escape the ridiculous prices at the hotel/casino I was staying at, I made the short walk here. Fortunately my experience was pretty much a hit. It's upstairs, literally above a Walgreens. There are escalators, but there's an elevator too, so the restaurant and restrooms are accessible. It's open 24 hours, so it always busy, but I was there at a very busy time. The line to be seated was long, but moved quite fast because it's a big place. It's a bit loud, it can be hectic during the rush times, but I give the waitress props. She remembered everything correctly and took care of it all, but patience was necessary. My guess is that, like many places, they are understaffed. I could hear that people at some nearby tables were having some issues. They had a different waitress. The kitchen was going full tilt, but it still took a long time for the food to appear. I made my on Slam with sausage (meh, although supposedly the sausage had an 'improved taste') and 2 eggs scrambled with cheese (pretty flavorless and the cheese was extra). But the other two items were winners - the two buttermilk pancakes and the seasonal fresh fruit, which was strawberries, bananas, and grapes today. It's extra for the fruit. The pancakes were light and yummy, and the fruit was fresh. You can pay at the register, or scan the QR code and pay online. Only bummer is the QR code receipt (which you can have emailed to you) does not specify what card you used to pay. Afterwards I went downstairs to buy a few things at Walgreens. Their restroom was broken - even the employees have to go elsewhere - but I was desperate so I went back to Denny's. I had my receipt in hand and explained the situation, and they quickly waved me in, thank goodness. read more

This Denny's has been an interesting visit from the one visit I went to one time. It was 2 AM and my friends and I wanted to get breakfast food so we headed over to Denny's for some breakfast. I was definitely in the mood for Country Fried Steak & Eggs and definitely it hit the spot. The best and weirdest part about this Denny's? There's a full bar here! My friends wanted to celebrate by drinking mimosas at 2 AM. Talk about living the high life here. The service was actually great; just that there was not much staff so we did wait a while for our food. By the time our food came out, we were 1-2 drinks in! My husband and I ordered the value meal breakfast slam. Two eggs over medium, 2 sausage for me ( 2 extra crispy bacon for him, and 2 well done pancakes and hot pancake syrup. Exact same meal we ordered 2 weeks ago. When the waitress brought our food she only brought one pancake and said they were still cooking my husband's pancake and she would bring it back. I said , "don't forget the hot pancake syrup". She replied that they don't warm syrup anymore and I said we just had it here 2 weeks ago and several times before that. Her response was "our manager told us not to warm the syrup anymore". I told her to take my order back and credit me for it. If it was no longer available then that message should have been given when I ordered it so that I may order something else or go elsewhere to dine. Customer service and attitude begin at the top with management. When we paid for my husband's meal at the cash register, I asked to see the manager and I was told that the manager was in the kitchen helping to cook. I told the cashier my problem and she said there is another manager that allows the hot syrup and the one there today does not. She offered us a 30% off coupon for our next time. I told her that is not necessary as there will be no next time. There are other places that are happy to warm the syrup for a customer. Nothing gets cold quicker than a pancake or a waffle. I wish they had more vegetarian friendly options and kind of find it ridiculous that they charge to substitute a veggie patty when it's not Beyond/Impossible meat. Nothing extravagant but certainly a clear indication that Vegas has a reputation to uphold as other Denny's locations have poor quality of food and service, however, this experience was different. We ordered Nachos, the Beetlejuice burger, double cheeseburger & mac n brisket skillet. I didnt even realize the beetlejuice burger was 3 patties, it was huge and delicious! My husband ended up not loving the brisket meat as much, he said it was an overpowering burnt taste- so we told the waiter and he was able to change his order. (The macaroni was delicious tho). Overall we are very happy with the service. We left full and had left overs. Total with tip was 83$ and 3 of us ate & had left overs. Probably one of the cheaper food options on the strip. Never thought I'd say I didn't like a Denny's but the experience this morning was terrible. Came early and got in relatively fast but once we were sat it took over ten minutes to get a waitress over to us to take our order I had to literally get up and go to the hostess to ask where our server was Then she came over all rude and took our orders. The food came out pretty fast but we again never saw her again until we were finished. Didn't get a refill on our drinks, no stopping by to check on us... My wife didn't want me to tip anything but I was in the service industry in college and tipped 20 percent but would have tipped more if she did her job. read more

After walking around the Strip for awhile, we got hungry and decided to have some bites here. The restaurant is quiet and seems not busy. The receptionist sat us and called our server. We waited for like 5 minutes. So when she came we are ready to order. I got the Classic Sampler while my SO ordered Bourbon Chicken Skillet. Classic Sampler - didn't come out like how it is in the picture but it was piping hot, onion rings tasted good, crispy and seasoned. What I didn't like is the chicken bites - it was salty. Other than that, the food is plenty and good for groups. Chicken/Sausage Bourbon Skillet - my SO loved it. He devoured them in no time. Tasty, well seasoned, and enough spiciness from the sausage. People who got seated after us got service before us which was not right! Tables were too close to each other and no room to wiggle around or to get up to use the restroom. Went in for breakfast to try to save a couple of bucks. The restaurant wasn't crowded at all, and was seated quickly. Service was okay, they seem to treat familiar customers better than new customers. My meal was sloppily put on the plate, and was cold to almost lukewarm warm, a quick spin in the microwave would have made a huge difference. Service is SLOW and close to inattentive. I asked our server about bloody Mary's and she said they had no mix. After eating I passed the bar by the restroom and asked them, they confirmed they had them and that the server should have gone to look, to little to late. Food came.out tepid. Brioche French toast (odd bread choice) plate was hot as he'll and toast was soggy as he'll, so it spent some time under a heat lamp, but that was the only hot dish, eggs, Bacon, my 9 grain pancakes (undercooked) and hash brown all tepid.
