I'm certainly not in a position to rate this as the best BBQ in Vegas as some reviewers have done. But it was pretty damn good. The baby back ribs were spot on, not overly sauced which allows you to sauce as you see fit with one of the many sauces they offer. Also a fairly large and comfortable indoor seating area. No pretensions about this place. As someone who has grilled a fair amount of ribs I was puzzled to see that they did not remove the thin membrane from the back of the ribs. In my experience this is a standard move. I'm sure they have their reasons but I'd prefer it be taken off before hand. A small complaint, but I have no doubt I'll return on my next Vegas trip in a couple months. read more

My favorite sauce was the sweet bbq. The cornbread was warm and had a cake like consistency which I loved. There were a few things we ordered that had potential like the brisket, baked beans, and koolaid. We asked for a leaner cut of brisket and while it was lean, it was not tender at all. If it were, I'd be willing to order again. The baked beans were a little too spicy for my preference and the koolaid barely had any sugar. I was not a fan of the greens, yams, loaded or mashed potatoes. The greens had an interesting flavor that none of us cared for, the yams still had skin pieces and outside of sugar didn't hold any flavor, and the mashed potatoes were bland. Disappointing Experience as Returning Local Customers We are Las Vegas locals and had visited Rollin Smoke Barbecue before. Our previous experiences were great, so when we were craving barbecue, we decided to return expecting another enjoyable meal. We ordered several combo meals to take home so we could try a variety of meats, sandwiches, and sides. One thing that caught us off guard was the $8 upcharge per sandwich to make it a combo ($16 total for the two sandwiches we ordered). We understand that upgrades cost extra, but those charges should be explained clearly when customers are ordering. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. The portions seemed smaller than we remembered. The barbecue sauce was much sweeter than we expected and overpowered the flavor of the meat instead of complementing it. Some of the meats and sandwiches were also bland, lacking the rich, smoky barbecue flavor we remembered. There also wasn't much barbecue meat on the sandwiches, making them feel skimpy for the price. This isn't about being cheap--it's about value. We don't mind paying for good barbecue, but for the price we expected more. The combo didn't feel worth the extra cost. The side portions were very small. We were also concerned about the restroom. It was located near the kitchen, appeared rundown, and did not seem properly maintained or sanitized. A toilet brush was leaning against the wall, which added to the unclean appearance. Its condition made us question the restaurant's overall cleanliness and whether proper handwashing and food-handling practices were being followed. The most concerning issue happened after we ate the food at home. Both of us became very sick after eating from the same order. The photos included with this review were originally taken because we planned to share a positive post supporting a local restaurant we had enjoyed. We even noticed the sign encouraging customers to take photos, tag the restaurant, and share their experience. Unfortunately, after what happened, we decided to include the photos only to document our visit, what we ordered, and the condition of the restaurant. Between the unexpected combo upcharges, small portions, skimpy sandwiches, overly sweet barbecue sauce, bland food, cleanliness concerns, and both of us becoming sick afterward, this was a very disappointing experience. We hope management takes these concerns seriously and reviews its food preparation, storage, sanitation, restroom maintenance, and overall quality control. Checked out Rolling Smoke Barbecue today, and for Las Vegas BBQ, it was a pretty solid experience. The brisket was tender and cooked well, the burnt ends had good flavor, and the Hot Link was solid with a nice balance of seasoning and texture. The sides were also better than expected. The potato salad was especially good, and the mashed potatoes had a lot of flavor and paired well with the meats. My only disappointment was the smoke profile. I was hoping for a stronger smoke presence across the meats, and they definitely benefited from the sauces. Thankfully, the sauces were excellent, especially the mustard-based sauce, which added a great tangy kick and complemented the BBQ perfectly. Overall, I enjoyed the meal. I visited Rollin Smoke Barbeque located close to industrial area of Las Vegas for my birthday on last Thursday. Overall it was just an okay experience. Upon entering, I right away noticed just how roomy this restaurant is. It has two large dining areas with lots of seating available. Never did the restaurant seem crowded or too full for the number of people there. The decorations at Rollin Smoke Barbeque had a very relaxed, casual atmosphere. Very much what you would want in a barbeque location in Las Vegas! The décor included many elements of rustic and modern design that added an inviting element! One thing I noticed immediately was how quickly the food came out to us. As soon as we placed an order, we were basically in a matter of seconds waiting on our food at most five minutes. The speed of getting this amount of food in such a short period of time is just incredible, especially since they get so many people coming through all day. This really made the whole experience of eating here smooth and simple! Unfortunately, while the atmosphere was great, the food was not good. I ordered a two meat plate with mac & cheese. however, both meats were not very enjoyable. The pork was extremely cold. In addition to the pork, I received an end cut of the baby back ribs as part of my meat portion. The end cut of the baby back ribs was almost inedible due to how tough they were. Even though there is a big problem with the food, I can still say that we really enjoyed the ambiance and service. This is one of those places where I would definitely give them another chance to see if they have improved on their food in the future. There are a few locations, but this review is focused on the location closest to the Strip Its location is several minutes from the center of the Strip. Don't be put off by the looks of the location. Next to the soda machine are an abundance of different sauces that will appeal to even the pickiest of bbq eaters. For lunch we chose the 3 meat trio. We chose sliced brisket (it comes chopped if you don't specify) 1/4 dark meat chicken and hot links. For the included side, we chose the dirty rice. We added an extra 1/4 dark meat chicken and a side of cheesy mac and cheese. Wife and I split the brisket and hot links and we will usually have leftovers as they are generous with their portions. All the barbecue has rich and Smokey flavor. The brisket was tender and had a hive visible smoke ring around the edge. The links have nice heat that is not overpowering. The dark meat chicken is also tender and juicy. When you peel the skin back the meat underneath is glistening. Both the rice and macaroni complimented our protein selections. If I have one knock, the sides were merely warm and not hot. I think this as due to the volume of people there for lunch today. For sauce I chose their original and sweet mama varieties. Long story short, support informed me that I couldn't be paid for the next delivery-- which I had already picked up-- due to the fact that it was accepted during an hourly rate period that was now over. The house barbecue was sweet and tangy: the original Arkansauce. It did rescue the brisket. . . and left me curious about the rest of the sauce options. The potato was huge. It bulked this meal up to be an easy sharing portion for two old people. We were both underwhelmed by the cheddar sausage which would have benefited from a quick suntan. It was flaccid. They had a bunch of different sauces that you could choose from on the side. I tried a few and they were good. I surprisingly liked the mustard one. Got 4 lbs of brisket, 4 beef dino ribs, and some sides and dessert. I really don't know where to start! As I walked in, I saw the lovely grill like vibe and immediately saw the signature sauces you can choose from. I personally love the mama's sweet sauce, it tasted so good! It paired super well with my pulled pork burger! The coleslaw was amazing too! On social media and through recommendations from Google and Yelp, so I thought tonight's the night we're giving it a go., and settled on the five meat combo plate.. I figure that would give me a good sampling of everything that they do. Fair warning, you will get up charged $18 for the beef rib. But once you see the size of this thing, you will understand. They pulled chicken and pulled pork were off the chart... I don't know what seasoning they put on it, but it had kind of a slight Asian influence. The sliced brisket was really good with an amazing smoke ring. The rib tips were incredibly tasty and very well cooked as well. But the real star of the show was the giant beef rib. I love a good beef rib, and this one was definitely fall off the bone. Good. It was so juicy and tender, I would be hard-pressed to think of another place where I've had a rib. This good. And it's huge. Easily enough for two people to share. One way I judge a good barbecue place is by the sauces they provide and let me tell you Rollin Smoke nails it! I only tried three, but there were five to choose from. I tried the sweet, spicy, and vinegar. I wish I could say just one of those sauces stood out, but they all did. You definitely want to get several containers of that so you can try them all. Bottom line? This place is now residing in my top five barbecue places in Las Vegas of all time. Great wood smoked BBQ. The service is quick and very friendly. Inside and out you have picnic tables for seating and in the back room plenty of tv's to catch a game. Soft drinks, tea, and beer available, no bar. I had the beef rib, sliced brisket, and spare ribs. Beef rib was melt in your mouth smoky goodness. Spare ribs were also delicious smoked perfection. My only complaint was the brisket, it was dry and bland. Maybe I should have had the chopped brisket. All in all a wonderful Barbecue spot! read more

This was our first time at Rollin Smoke Barbecue. It's located right off the I-15 freeway tucked away in a quiet strip mall. Parking was easy to find. Service (5/5) - The service was phenomenal! Our experience from the beginning to end was cozy, warm, and quick service! All the staff were friendly and attentive. The gentleman helping us gave us a nice run down of the menu and made great recommendations. This definitely made our meal more enjoyable! Food (4.5/5) - We ordered the Pit Special which comes with 5 meats 3 sides, and 2 dinner rolls. We opted for double brisket, ribs, pulled pork, and hot links for the meats, then mac and cheese, cornbread, and waffle fries for the sides. Everything was very well seasoned and delicious! This can definitely feed 2-3 people. There is also a good variety of drinks to choose from, from your regular fountain drinks to kool-aid, tang, ice tea, and red cream soda. Ambiance (5/5) - We went on a Thursday around early dinner hour. There was plenty of seating to choose from. BBQ sauce and drink stations were clean. This restaurant has fast counter service. Even when it's busy, we were able to find a table. Seems like you might need to come early as they do run out of things. I love that. They have blue Kool-Aid and tang on tap. Great for families. read more

This bbq joint was jumping right around lunch time. If you are looking for guys, this is where they gather at lunch time to eat their fill of bbq meat!!! The place was filled with men! Onto the food, don't be intimidated by the line. It moves fast. We ordered beef ribs and burnt ends. The meat is tender and succulent. All cuts have great meat to fat ratio which is key to tender tasty meat. Surprising to me was that I didn't get much smoke in the meats. Not that I'm complaining. Some bbq places are so smoke drowned that it can become overpowering. The beef ribs were so tender. The meat literally fell off the bone. The burnt ends were really tender. Whatever sauce is used on the burnt ends needs to be offered on your bbq sauce bar up front. Unless that's the one sauce I didn't get!! Anyways, this bbq is well worth your time, money and appetite. So we decided to order some BBQ from rolling smoke for the 4th pool party online, and tipped 20% for takeout so it would be right. Guess again, we got an order of fat with a side of brisket. Absolutely horrendous. I called and they said u should have ordered lean. Im 51 years old, never ordered lean, and have never seen something like this. Thanks for serving this nonsense. read more
