    The Pit Special - 5 Meats + 3 Sides
    Louie D.

Checked out Rolling Smoke Barbecue today, and for Las Vegas BBQ, it was a pretty solid experience. The brisket was tender and cooked well, the burnt ends had good flavor, and the Hot Link was solid with a nice balance of seasoning and texture. The sides were also better than expected. The potato salad was especially good, and the mashed potatoes had a lot of flavor and paired well with the meats. My only disappointment was the smoke profile. I was hoping for a stronger smoke presence across the meats, and they definitely benefited from the sauces. Thankfully, the sauces were excellent, especially the mustard-based sauce, which added a great tangy kick and complemented the BBQ perfectly. Overall, I enjoyed the meal. The quality was there, the flavors were good, and it's a strong BBQ option in a city where great barbecue can be hard to find.

Everything we tried was amazing!!! From the fried catfish to the brisket to the beef rib. The only notes I have are that the ends of the beef ribs were a little tough but I understand they need to cook it all the way through all the ribs. The fried catfish was fried to perfection and was the perfect crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. And the sauce that with it was also really good. The brisket was nice and tender and the different sauces offered were really good!!! The service was amazing! The owner's son called out our name to bring us our food and it was good to see him doing his job so diligently! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Vibe is typical Texas bbq place with picnic tables inside and out.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Loved that they blast the AC especially since it was so hot outside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Three meat combo...Brisket, pork and turkey
    Lisa G.

I have been to MANY bbq places all over the US...this one is probably the best I have had. Hub and I get the three meat combo with smoked turkey, chopped brisket and chopped pork. We chose baked beans for a side, and added the collard greens. The meat here is cooked to perfection! They also have several sauces that are amazing! These are located by the soft drink section and you can help yourself to as many variety sauces that you want. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Inside is cozy with picnic style tables...very clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have outdoor seating as well.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We got there at 11am and by the time we left, not many tables were left...so the word is out on this place. The person taking our order was friendly and efficient.

The amount of food you get for the price is fantastic. Service is even better! Something about good service. It just makes the food better IMO. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance of the place is great. Nice family feel to the place.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Bench style seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Please see pictures, we ordered a lot of food. Fed roughly 14 people and still had food left.

Tried the 2 meat plate with brisket and chicken. My brisket came out a little cold, but my partner said theirs was good. The chicken was decent and the collard greens were actually really good. The mac and cheese wasn't really my favorite, but the Kool-Aid was good. The banana pudding was very sweet but still tasty. Peach cobbler was okay. I personally didn't like the soft pie pieces mixed inside. Overall the food was decent and I'd probably come back to try other items. The jalapeño poppers were probably my favorite thing we tried. They were huge and packed with flavor. Overall the food was decent and I'd probably come back to try other items.

I visited Rollin Smoke Barbeque located close to industrial area of Las Vegas for my birthday on last Thursday. Overall it was just an okay experience. Upon entering, I right away noticed just how roomy this restaurant is. It has two large dining areas with lots of seating available. Never did the restaurant seem crowded or too full for the number of people there. The decorations at Rollin Smoke Barbeque had a very relaxed, casual atmosphere. Very much what you would want in a barbeque location in Las Vegas! The décor included many elements of rustic and modern design that added an inviting element! One thing I noticed immediately was how quickly the food came out to us. As soon as we placed an order, we were basically in a matter of seconds waiting on our food at most five minutes. The speed of getting this amount of food in such a short period of time is just incredible, especially since they get so many people coming through all day. This really made the whole experience of eating here smooth and simple! Unfortunately, while the atmosphere was great, the food was not good. I ordered a two meat plate with mac & cheese. however, both meats were not very enjoyable. The pork was extremely cold. In addition to the pork, I received an end cut of the baby back ribs as part of my meat portion. The end cut of the baby back ribs was almost inedible due to how tough they were. Even though there is a big problem with the food, I can still say that we really enjoyed the ambiance and service. This is one of those places where I would definitely give them another chance to see if they have improved on their food in the future. However, given this was for my birthday, I felt disappointed because our main course did not live up to the rest of what we experienced.

    Menu full of delicious BBQ.

If you're craving Southern BBQ, Rollin Smoke is a good choice. There are a few locations, but this review is focused on the location closest to the Strip Its location is several minutes from the center of the Strip. Don't be put off by the looks of the location. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The site is in a kind of rundown strip mall-ish center with plenty of parking.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Inside you order at the counter and food is brought to your table. Even with a line, service is friendly and wait times are pretty minimal. Their menu has a little of everything from beef ribs, brisket and sausage links to okra, corn nuggets and slaw. Seating is first come first serve and they have e quite a large dining area with plenty of tables with bench seats. Next to the soda machine are an abundance of different sauces that will appeal to even the pickiest of bbq eaters. For lunch we chose the 3 meat trio. We chose sliced brisket (it comes chopped if you don't specify) 1/4 dark meat chicken and hot links. For the included side, we chose the dirty rice. We added an extra 1/4 dark meat chicken and a side of cheesy mac and cheese. Wife and I split the brisket and hot links and we will usually have leftovers as they are generous with their portions. All the barbecue has rich and Smokey flavor. The brisket was tender and had a hive visible smoke ring around the edge. The links have nice heat that is not overpowering. The dark meat chicken is also tender and juicy. When you peel the skin back the meat underneath is glistening. Both the rice and macaroni complimented our protein selections. If I have one knock, the sides were merely warm and not hot. I think this as due to the volume of people there for lunch today. For sauce I chose their original and sweet mama varieties. They are very tasty and full of southern bbq influence. All-in-all, this is a great BBQ spot and centrally located for visitors to the Strip.

This is an unexpected review as it resulted from an undeliverable uber eats pickup. Long story short, support informed me that I couldn't be paid for the next delivery-- which I had already picked up-- due to the fact that it was accepted during an hourly rate period that was now over. So support cancelled the order, leaving me with this package: brisket, pulled chicken, cheddar link, and a baked potato. I'm going to start by telling you that the staff could not be nicer-- they respect drivers... which is lovely... even when understaffed. Let's get right to it: I was excited to try the brisket and it had good flavor but the texture suffered from the 45 minute drive to my kitchen. Maybe I'm spoiled by too much time in Texas... The house barbecue was sweet and tangy: the original Arkansauce. It did rescue the brisket. . . and left me curious about the rest of the sauce options. The potato was huge. It bulked this meal up to be an easy sharing portion for two old people. We were both underwhelmed by the cheddar sausage which would have benefited from a quick suntan. It was flaccid. The standout turned out to be the pulled chicken. Moist and flavorful with a balanced smokiness, it was absolutely delightful. Any time I end up with an undeliverable meal I try to make a value for the restaurant out of the event. I'm pretty sure we will make a point of trying this place in person-- and look forward to the chance to tip the awesome staff!'

Trio Platter w/ a hot link, 2 spare ribs, burnt ends, piece of toast and a side of BBQ beans
    Diana K.

Stopped in for a quick lunch and ended up ordering the trio with the spare ribs, burnt ends and hot links and side of BBQ beans. Hubby ordered the Rib Platter special with a side of slaw. We also started with the fried pickles and candied bacon. Portions were generous. We definitely could've split a meal between the two of us, but our eyes were bigger than our stomachs today. They had a bunch of different sauces that you could choose from on the side. I tried a few and they were good. I surprisingly liked the mustard one. I would've liked to have a beer with my food (which they had), but I was driving so ended up soda instead. The also had kool-aid and TANG! Who remembers tang as a kid? Staff were very nice and on top of it. I noticed as soon as someone was finished, they were cleaning. They also offer an AYCE (i think for $62?).. wouldn't have been worth it for me, but for all you BBQ lovers out there! I'll def be back to try something new. There were just too many things to choose from for the first time.

Felt like Fred Flintstone with a GIANT Delicious rib It was Huge and cooked excellent Staff was friendly and helpful and service was fast A great place to go for lunch I'll take my next visitors here

This restaurant is definitely over hyped. The food was ok but definitely does not deserve any rankings on best bbq. The pulled pork was extremely dry , no way to eat it alone had to cover in sauce. The ribs were good but nothing to brag about I've had much better. The sauces were the same ok but nothing special , they did have a good variety. The potato salad was pretty good but a very small portion for $7.

    BBQ Smoked Salad

I really don't know where to start! As I walked in, I saw the lovely grill like vibe and immediately saw the signature sauces you can choose from. I personally love the mama's sweet sauce, it tasted so good! It paired super well with my pulled pork burger! The coleslaw was amazing too! I loved all of the foods so there is nothing bad I can say about this lovely restaurant. The drink selection was nice, I liked that they had Kool-Aids but they were a bit sweet for my taste and were kinda warm. The staff was really nice and helpful. I absolutely recommend this restaurant if you are visiting Vegas!

Ask the Community - Rollin Smoke Barbeque

Are kids still eat for free on Sundays?

Hi Is this the location with the AYCE BBQ that includes drinks in the price? How much per adult? Do they offer the popular Beef dinosaur ribs w/ the AYCE or separately?

AFAIK, the AYCE cost is ~$60 or more person. Not sure if you get more than one drink per person. https://www.rollinsmokebarbeque.com/highland-drive-menu/

What is the weight of the brisket of the 3-way order?

Each Brisket selection provides a quarter pound of meat, totaling just under one pound of meat collectively and weighing in at approximately 0.75 pounds when plated

Do they charge kids 3 and under for ayce?

    They don't have ayce.

    Can the shrimp be steamed?

    No. No steaming

Is there an all you can eat option?

Yes, $50 for all you can eat including drink, anything on the menu, but no sharing. The only restriction listed is you only get to have 2 beef ribs.

Is this restaurant pet friendly? We are passing through Vegas and would like to try the BBQ. Thank you.?

They have a patio area in front with benches and I saw own one with a pet and some others with bikes.

Is this a reservation spot or walk in okay?

    Walk in

Do we need reservations for 4 people?

    No reservations required.

How many ribs in a full rack beef ribs? Just ordered. Actually 4 ribs for full order. 2 for 1/2…

Yes, 4 for a full rack 2 for a half rack. How in the world does one become elite by giving people bad answers? SMH, I'm glad you checked too!

What's the difference between rollin smoke and ricks rollin smoke. Same family to competitor?

Same place. The original is on Highland Ave.

Is the outside seating dog friendly?

I didn't see any sign about pets in the outdoors eating area. I think if your dog is on a leash and well behaved, the management would allow it.

Does anyone know if they use peanut oil? Have a peanut allergy and was wondering if this could be a safe place to go?

Not sure. Good question though. We have a peanut allergy in the family. They are heavy supporters of AZ Razorbacks and children's charities.

    Do they serve beer?

As of right now the answer is No. I heard they are trying to get something in the beer realm soon . We just have to wait an see. They have sodas , water , ice tea now. I'm from Orange County California and I visit this establishment when in Las…

Are they open on 4th of July and until what time?

    Call restaurant for holiday hours.

    Is it byob?

    Yes it is

Is the $34.99 option truly all you can eat?

    Yes it is.

For catering, do you have a bbq bar and/or taco bar for 30 people?

They have a new area to the left of the main entrance outside and it's air conditioned and very nice. It could definitely hold 30 or more. I wouldn't call it a bar but it looks like it could be used for a private party.

Every time we've been told the kitchen is extremely backed up. One visit, we waited almost an hour before finally leaving because at that point it just wasn't worth the wait, especially for the price. Today we came back again hoping for a better experience, and we were told they were basically closing the kitchen because they were so backed up and asked if we still wanted to wait. Based on our previous experiences, we decided to just leave. The food is good, but after this happening three times in a row, it seems like there's a serious issue with how the kitchen is being managed. It's frustrating to drive there and be willing to spend the money only to repeatedly be told there's an excessive wait or that the kitchen can't keep up. We really wanted to keep supporting this place, but at this point it's becoming hard to justify going back.
