This place is the real deal, I felt like I was walking into my local shop back in Aiea !! Lots to choose from , friendly service with Aloha and everything tasted great. We will be going back for more and more.

The poke here is exceptional! It's a walk in walk out shop and they sell poke by the pound. They do have a fridge with drinks and Hawaiian snacks. They do sell bowls with white rice separately if you want to make a poke bowl with rice. The customer service is great you can tell they really work as a team. I reccomend if your in the Henderson area and are looking for fresh yummy poke.

I cannot rave enough about Poke Express, I loved everything about it. If you're familiar with Foodland in Hawaii this place reminded me of a micro version of that. Everyone was so sweet and lovely inside and the fish is all fresh and insanely flavorful. Do not be discouraged if you walk in and see huge lines because they go quick! I was offered samples of their most popular flavors and they even mixed two types of Ahi for us because we wanted a spicy garlic Ahi. This place has a reputation that they really live up to and I am beyond excited for it! We got Da Volcano Scallops, Tako wasabi, Kihei Salmon and the Garlic Ahi and everything was amazing. We also got some rice, seaweed salad and ponzu sauce to complete our meal! I want to go back and try the mussels and some of the drinks they had in the cooler!

I was in Vegas this past weekend for a bachelor party and we stayed at an Airbnb near by. The Bachelor said this spot is the best poke in Vegas. I love poke so why not!? We ended up ordering about 7-8 lbs of poke salmon, tuna, crab, and yellowtail for 11 of us at the Airbnb. It was really nice of them to accommodate this last minute request. Anyways, I want to highlight the fish here. It was so tender and the quality of every bite really stood out. I took a few bites and this literally took me back to Oahu Hawaii poke... I am not exaggerating at all. I am from socal and this perhaps was the best poke I've had in the states. I literally am craving it as I'm typing/posting this review. Just the freshness and the quality was on another tier, it was literally the same as having poke on the island. Highly recommend coming here and will not miss a chance when I'm in Vegas.

Came to get lunch here on a Saturday, and it was packed! Makes sense because the poke here is pretty cheap and they have a lot of variety. The different flavors of tuna poke here was about $17.49 per pound, while the different flavors of salmon poke here was about $19.95 per pound. You can't find this price anywhere! Special Salmon Poke - I didn't realize that it was just salmon and onion, and you add the sauce you want on top (I thought it was already mixed). They gave me the option of special sauce or ponzu, and I got the special sauce. The sauce was salty and tasted primarily of soy sauce, which was perfect for the fatty and tender pieces of salmon. The quality of the fish is amazing, tastes fresh and tender. Furikake Ahi Poke - The flavors of the sauce was sweet, and the fish was SO tender. I genuinely don't even know how this tuna is so tender because when I usually get tuna poke, it is pretty grainy. The fish has absolutely no graininess to it at all. Overall, I would recommend this place 100%! So much cheaper than what you get when you get poke bowls out and better quality as well!

Lots of options and good flavors. It's a great choice if you want to do family style so you can order a variety a la carte with rice on the side. The fish was fresh and didn't have any fishiness. There are a lot of snacks and drinks you can grab in store too. There is no seating there so keep that in mind.

    I'll take them all!

Great service with many options of fresh poke and other Hawaiian specialties! I come here all the time when I'm in town. Love the people that work there, always aloha here! Place is clean with no smell of fish

So many choices, it was hard to decide, but we ended up with the spicy tuna, soy with avocado tuna and the crab salad. This is in a shopping center, so there is a lot of parking, Once inside, you order at the counter deli style. They pack it and weigh it for you. There is not seating inside, more like a fish market. Pick up and take with you. Although the line seemed long, it moved so fast. The staff behind the counter were friendly and quick. We really appreciated that. We loved every bite, gives you the feeling of Hawaii markets, home away from home

Felt like I was in Hawaii! Lots of poke variety with really amazing flavors. Friendly service and the food was delicious. This is definitely a must go anytime I'm back in the area!

Writing this as I wait in line because I can't believe I havent written this after my fist time coming here months ago. Hands down the best poke I've had, and I can only compare it to the SoCal shops, foodland and taniokas on Oahu. My uber driver recommended the Pau Hana and I've never looked back after this one. Prior to express I was a Hawaiian style girl and I still like it. But now I love the furikake and pau Hana. Overall there's just so much flavor, freshness and ingredients in their poke that they are on their own category. They're on mainland so yes there's more access to ingredients but their recipes and quality of the fish put them on a league on their own. Mahalo for making such great poke'

This place was recommended to myself and boyfriend by my brother who lives on this end of town. Place was busy when we went in but it was well worth it. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The pickled onion and pickled ginger we got from the refrigerator was really good! Never thought pickled onion was a thing but it was delicious. Both of our salmon bowls were great and even good next day when I brought leftovers for lunch. The rice was seasoned and cooked perfect to go with the diced salmon. I look forward to going again!

Came here on a recent trip to Vegas and I'm glad that I did. They offer a ton of different poke and I love how they offer samples. The employee who helped us out was super friendly and welcoming. Everything is by the pound so we ended up ordering a 1/3 pound of shoyu ahi, limu tako, yum yum mussels, lomi salmon, da hapa ahi poke as well as 4 scoops of rice with furikake. I really enjoyed everything--all were fresh and seasoned well, but if I had to pick a favorite it would have to be da hapa ahi poke which the employee sold my husband and I on. I'm glad he recommended it to us and let us sample it because I would've never known about this one had he not. He mentioned it was his favorite and it tasted like steak which it did and it was delicious and different from other poke I've ever tasted. My husband isn't too much of a fan on raw poke, but after trying this one out he actually really enjoyed it. We liked the seared taste of it and it really did taste like steak lol. I liked how all of the poke was nicely displayed and everything looked and even tasted fresh. The overall place is a small takeout spot with no seats to dine at. Besides poke, they also have Hawaiian snacks and more. I'd definitely return whenever I'm in Vegas!

This is perhaps the freshest poke that ever tasted. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this poke by the Pound place. They offer a wide variety of fresh mixed pokes, as well as raw fish and snack, snacks and drinks. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. I indicated an allergy and they freshly made my poke for me without the ingredient to ensure no cross contamination. The ambience is out of a deli, but the service is outstanding.

Ask the Community - Poke Express

Will you be open New Year's Eve?

Do you guys use fresh or frozen ahi tuna?

Our ahi is previously frozen and mixed fresh every day. We also bring in fresh island ahi (from Hawaii) that is not previously frozen every Thursday.

I got a text that they do online orders now but i forgot what the link was. anybody have the link?

It's through the clover app! Just search it up on your App Store and then type Poke Express. Pick either the Craig or Stephanie location and place your order. It's recommended that you also include a note indicating what time you would like to pick…

Please be open on Wednesday's? I've been to this place three different times wanting to try it and haven't been able to cause they're always closed for some reason or another.

As of about a month ago, they are now closed on Wednesday's... I'm so sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but maybe if they see enough interest through social media for being open on this day, they will reconsider!

The tables were so clean you could literally see the reflection off of them. That alone stood out immediately. Dean helped me with my order and his service was top tier. He was cleaning when I came in and after taking my order he went right back to working instead of standing around. He was very patient, took his time, and really listened to what I needed. I told him I wanted something specific, light but filling for a workout, and he gave thoughtful recommendations that ended up creating the perfect bowl. Fresh, flavorful, and exactly what I needed. I was also unsure about what sauce to get and Heavenly recommended two sauces for me to try together. I mixed them myself and it ended up being the perfect combination for my bowl and really brought everything together. They both stayed attentive the entire time, even as more customers came in, making sure everyone was acknowledged without ever making me feel overlooked. That balance is rare. The vibe is great for a grab-and-go poke spot. The fresh veggies, fruit, and crab mix? All solid. But here's the thing -- I ordered the First Timer Bowl, and the tuna should be the star of the show. With so many ingredients competing, the fish gets completely lost. And when I did find it... it wasn't cold. Poke is raw fish. It has to be cold. That's non-negotiable. I've spent most of my life in the Pacific Islands, so I know what fresh poke tastes like -- and this missed the mark on the fish quality. This is Las Vegas, with a large Hawaiian and Pacific Islander community that knows the difference. I feel for this place because the bones are there. Simplify the bowls, let the fish speak for itself, and get the temperature right. I'll be rooting for them to level up.
