    $15 Garlic Chicken Bucket
    Melody P.

I usually come for the yummy mochi donuts, but they've been running weekday meal specials lately. I picked up the $15 garlic chicken bucket and the $10 weekday special--since it was Monday, the special was a Hawaiian poke bowl. The garlic chicken was super flavorful, and the poke bowl was generous and filling. The poke was tasty, and the kalua had a nice hint of smoky flavor--really good overall. I hope they keep these weekday specials going because I'll definitely be back for more. I ordered everything to go and recommend calling ahead.

Its been a while since we been this to this location. We did a phone order for their Garlic Chicken Bucket- 20 pieces for $15. What a deal! Service good- our food was ready as soon as we got there. Chicken was so good! And the pieces we 're good and the size was bigger than I expected! Definitely would grab this special again!

Good food in an unassuming place! Located next to Greenland on Spring Mountain and Rainbow, it's a small place with good flavor!! We placed our order and they called us as soon it was ready. The guy we placed the order with was nice and answered any questions we had. I wish I had room for inari bombs but I was so full! Servings were filling. I ordered the Hapa Bowl and my bf ordered the Fried Saimin Plate. He didn't give me a chance to take a pic but I got one of my bowl! Would definitely come back here again! Very ono!!

I'm surprised I haven't written a review for Paina Café yet because I've been coming here for years! It's one of my go-to spots, especially for their mochi donuts -- hands down the best around. The texture is always perfect -- super fresh, soft, and bouncy every single time. On my most recent visit, I got my usual mochi donuts along with some spam musubi and salmon inari bombs. While I think their savory items are fine, I definitely prefer their desserts -- that's where they really shine. Service here is always great, and I've never had to wait long for my order. Overall, Paina Café is such a consistent, feel-good spot that I'll keep coming back to -- especially for those amazing mochi donuts!

To preface, I've only had mochi donuts from here. The mochi dough has such a great texture and the perfect sweetness (not overly sweet). I wish the icing didn't crumble as much as it does - not sure if it's possible to make icing like that. In any case, it was still delicious!

Salt and vinegar crispy fried chicken

Tried the Salt and Vinegar crispy fried chicken!!! The chicken pieces (about 15-16) came in a bucket, hot and crispy! Ordered side of rice and that was it! The only thing was missing was Mang Tomas sauce... Small place, cozy and the girl at the counter was friendly! I give this place 4 Shaka signs

OVERALL : Went to Vegas this past weekend and came back with a new go-to spot for Hawaiian food next time I'm in town again! Paina Cafe has rave reviews from everyone, including hawaiian natives, so you know it's legit! They have pre-set poke bowls and plate lunches as well as BYO poke bowls, spam musubi, and mochi donuts. Everything brought me back to my time in Hawaii. Service was fast and friendly, lots of tables inside and good for groups looking for a casual lunch spot with great food! PARKING : Parking lot out in front shared with other businesses in the plaza, but not crowded when we came :) FOOD/DRINKS : Hapa Bowl - white rice, shoyu ahi poke, kalua pig Nanea Salmon Poke Bowl - white rice, shoyu ginger salmon poke, lemon citrus aioli with red onion, radish sprouts, masago, shredded nori 4 oz side of ahi poke Spam Musubi Everything was so fresh, so tender, and potions were GENEROUS with great prices! Fish just cuts through without any stringy bits. The Nanea Salmon bowl was my fav but I def want to try building my own next time so I get to try the other proteins and toppings too + grab a mochi donut!

Came for the mochi donuts and Paina Cafe did not disappoint!!! Ordered the dozen and got it in the cutest box!

I love their mochi donuts! This also a great place for a nice meal! Friendly staff and fresh food. Oh, don't forget to get a SPAM Musubi!

Authentic and flavorful Hawaiian food! The poke here is fresh and honestly one of the better options out in Vegas. You can choose from their own hand selected options which are great. They have a lot more than poke as well offering bento boxes and other entree items such as garlic chicken and beef. If you want to make your own bowl that option is available too. A quick grab and go refrigerator is inside too. Service was good but could be a little more timely. But the food is the highlight here. Inside gave a friendly island vibe. In addition, the matcha mochi donut here is fire Overall another great time and a top selection for Hawaiian food in Vegas

After eating lunch at a Pho restaurant on a Saturday, I was craving something sweet afterwards. Looking for Mochi donuts in the area on Yelp, Paina Café was one of the first restaurants to pop up! It was only five minutes away from the Pho restaurant in Spring Mountain. Paina Café is a Hawaiian-inspired café. As soon as you enter the restaurant, you'll notice all of the island-themed décor! Paina Café is known for their Poke Bowls! Paina Café has two locations, one in Las Vegas at Spring Mountain, and another one at Honolulu Hawaii! If you're looking for alternatives to Poke Bowls, Paina Café does offer plate lunches, sandwiches, and salads! Some of the plate lunches do include Kalua Pork! We ended up ordering [3] Mochi donuts - Chocolate Cheesecake - Cookies and Cream - Matcha The wait time was minimal. The team member immediately packed up the mochi donuts in a bag and provided them to us. We took the Mochi Donuts home to eat! The Matcha Mochi Donut was the best. The Matcha flavoring was delicious and the donut was soft and perfectly baked. The Chocolate Cheesecake was interesting. I didn't taste too much of the chocolate flavor and the frosting reminded me more of a vanilla flavor. It was still good though! The Cookies and Cream Mochi Donut was yummy! The next time I stop by Paina Café, I'm getting their plate lunch! The restaurant has plenty of table seating to eat your meal inside as well! The service was fantastic!

Ask the Community - Paina Cafe

What allergies should I be aware of from the poké?

There are different types of poke that they make, so I think it would be best to reach out to the restaurant and let them know what allergies you have, and they should be able to tell you if you'll be ok or not.

    Do they have malasadas?

It's not on the regular menu. http://www.painacafe.com/menu

Are they back open for dine in?

    Yep!

Do they open their pick up window early (before 10AM) for AM pick ups?

They open early for mochi donut pickup orders from 8am. Now you walk into the restaurant to pick up your donut order.

Do you have any gluten free donuts available?

    Not at the moment.

Are these mochi donuts vegan or do they have dairy in them?

I do not work for them, but if they are vegan they have cornered the market on a great vegan dessert. I cook alot and I do not think that consistency is attainable with out eggs.

Are the donuts here light and airy or is it more like a cake?

It's less dense than a cake donut!

How do we order for pick up?

I always click the link in their IG bio and order from there. :)

Does the mini half dozen for the mochi donuts come in the flavors of the week? If so how do you order it online?

The minis are only available as plain glazed donuts.

Do u know how much for donut mochi?

$1.95 each for the regular size mochi donuts, and $12 for a dozen of the mini

    Do they offer delivery?

    On UberEats

What's the calorie count on a Mochi donut?

That depends on each flavor. I would call the place and i'm sure they would be happy to answer your question.

    Do they deliver?

    They only deliver through UberEats

Can't seem to find the pricing for the Donuts. Anyone?

    It's like $2 a piece

Are the mochi donuts gluten free?

    No.

Are any of the desserts dairy free?

    At the moment no

    Do they accept apple pay?

    Not currently accepting apple pay

Are any of the desserts vegan?

    No, none are vegan

    How much are the desserts?

Mochi donuts: $1.95 per piece Tarts: $1.50 each, $8 for 6 pack, $15 for dozen pack Pa'ina rolls:… Read more

Dining area is small but there's adequate seating for a table, by the window, and along the wall. Menu offers a great selection of chicken, shrimp, steaks, salmon, ahi, pork, as well as Hawaiian plates, island favorites, fried noodles, and poke. I ordered my go-to for Dynamite Chicken Katsu (mini, $13.52), its crispy breaded chicken, meat is tender and moist, has amazing wasabi aioli and spicy sauce drizzle, very savory and wonderfully delicious! Served with tasty crab potato salad and kimchi. Also had Fried Noodles (mini, $7.28), the egg noodles are delicious, topped with chopped scallions and kamaboko (Japanese fish cake), it's really good! Spam Musubi ($4.16) is tasty! It does need sauce and there are condiments like soy sauce and hot sauce available on the table. For a lovely treat, they make the best Japanese Milk Pudding, it's delightful and not too sweet! I ordered a regular ($5.20) and tried Ube flavor ($5.20), both are yummy! Ube flavor is so good! The milk pudding has a delicate, silky, bouncy texture, and comes with a sweet Japanese syrup. The milk pudding on its own is so YUM! The syrup itself is very sweet, so only pour a little bit. They also have fun cookies on display locally sourced from The Cookie Bar. I tried Crème Brûlée Cookie ($4.50), it's a huge sugar cookie with a beautiful crisp glaze and is very sweet. MacDaddy Cookie ($4.50) is excellent, it has white chocolate chips and macadamia nuts, this one taste great! Service from Koltyn and Zadus is very kind, welcoming, polite, and friendly!

Heard good things about this place and wanted to try lots of things so we got two combo plates. First combo was the garlic chicken with shoyu poke. Being from Hawaii this was as close to home as you can get on the mainland. The chicken was nice and crispy on the outside while soft on the inside. The poke was spot on as if it was flown in from Hawaii. Second combo was the ahi katsu and meat jun. Katsu wasn't too crispy since there was a lot of sauce but the flavor was pretty good and ahi was cooked well. The meat jun was soft and seasoned well too. Overall, great to have this place when you want local Hawaii style foods as someone who is from Hawaii. Good variety and everything on the menu was pretty good and very filling. Things were still getting together but I have faith they will get back to their normal flow. Food was tasty as always. Had the beef ribs and the kalua pig today. The Kalua pig was a very tasty version. One of the better ones I've had in town for my taste. Not too smoky, felt like it was roasted for a long time. The meat was still intact but tender. Ribs were as they always are. The only thing today, was that the boxes didn't feel as full as they normally do. Only got 4 ribs today and they weren't all that meaty. The pig dish wasn't full to the brim either. Also, prices have gone up from the menu, so seeing higher prices (totally understandable) and less food was a little disappointing. Service was friendly for the most part, but be ready for longer waits. Maybe it was because of the move, but it was a 15-20 min wait today. His cousin couldn't stop raving about the food, so we decided to check it out for dinner last night. We ordered the Crackhead Chicken and Da "OG" Beef to share, and I also got a Spam musubi I had been craving. The musubi was HUGE and really hit the spot. We also ordered a side of Crackhead Chicken without the spice for our 1 year old, and she LOVED it. Normally she throws her food, but this time she actually ate it and kept making the cutest "yummy" faces the whole time. The moment I took my first bite of chicken, my reaction said it all. The flavor was INCREDIBLE! It had a perfect balance of sweetness from the coconut and a nice kick from the spices. Everything worked so well together, and the chicken itself was unbelievably moist and juicy. I also loved that the meat was served over the rice, allowing for all the juices to soak in. The rice was soft, flavorful, and just as satisfying. The macaroni salad was hands down my favorite compared to any Hawaiian BBQ spot I've tried. I also had a few bites of the beef, which had an amazing flavor and just the right amount of char to elevate it even more. The only thing that didn't stand out to me was the coleslaw, but we found out later that you can substitute for extra macaroni salad for an additional 50 cents. We will definitely do that next time! Overall, we had a fantastic experience and will absolutely be back whenever we are in the area. One quick note for parents: there are no high chairs available, and we even searched the entire food court. Since it's inside a casino, it's understandable, but just something to keep in mind.
