LOCO MOCO w/ mac salad on the side
    Paolo B.

It's always a plus when the beef patty is seasoned and the grave doesn't taste like they just did an instant gravy from a bag. I can say that what I ordered was made with aloha! Very friendly staff and I love the very island theme of the restaurant. Perfect portion and the Mac salad complimented the loco moco very well.

My go to authentic Hawaiian Food restaurant. Easy ordering at the counter and the servers are friendly and fast. The Garlic Chicken and gravy is always amazing, subtle garlic flavor and moist chicken thigh meat, 4 stars because the gravy was on the cooler side. The Saimin Noodles was perfectly prepared with a good portion of pork. For me a little Tabasco gives it the perfect kick. Our friends orders the broccoli beef and there was generous portion of beef and flavorful sauce. The Mac Salad with a little pepper was perfect. I will always come back to Aloha Specialties!

Don't believe it! Aloha Specialties is NOT CLOSED!!! My hubby and I enjoyed our traditional Hawaiian breakfast there this morning--where we eat whenever we visit LV. Yes, there was a brief closure, wrongs were righted and the rating is an A! Service, as always, was pleasant and efficient. The menu is extensive and the ambiance is casual and relaxed--Hawaiian style in LV. My go to order is their delicious kalua pork and cabbage while hubby loves his spam and eggs over rice with a side of their out of this world macaroni salad. On the second floor of the California Club, a short block off Fremont Street, make it a stop on your next visit.

When in Vegas you gotta try the local Hawaiian spots, as someone who has been to Hawaii several times and always crave Hawaiian plate food, this place did not disappoint. I was sick with the flu in Vegas and all I wanted was something solid for breakfast, my goto is always loco moco and it was amazing. Service was great too! And it really did feel like I was in Hawaii with the vibes and energy in there! 10/10

Having a plate lunch at Aloha Specialties is a must! Always crowded and you really do feel like you are at home in Hawaik because there are so many Hawai'i visitors and Vegas transplants eating there! Food is onolicious - you really do feel like you are at home :) I always get the hamburger steak and can never finish all the rice. Huge homemade party the size ld my adult hand and the Mac salad that comes with it made tastebuds and emotions happy :) Ono food, welcoming and friendly staff, lots of clean tables :)

Update on Aloha Specialties haven't dine here for a while. I think before COVID19 sometimes . Well my sister and brother in law was craving for ramen so we decided to go back to Aloha specialties. Both of them had wun tun min and I had their hamburger steak . The hamburger steak only had 1 beef patty and it was lacking salt and it was on the hard side . My sister them said the wun tun min was good . Support local

Located on the mezzanine level of the California Hotel. Ttis humble Saimin shop has been serving Hawaiian flavors since the opening of the hotel. Today the Won Ton Mein had a their classic taste, unfortunately the Fish cake and noodles where on the gummy side. The restaurant is nice and clean. We sat in the patio area. Where you were close the the entrances of Lapperts, Vegas 808,and Ethel M's..Candies. Service was a bit spotty today. Enjoy

Always a Friendly Atmosphere! This restaurant, located on the Mezzanine level of the California Hotel, has been around for many years and continues to be a go-to spot for local Hawaiian food. It's a casual, order-at-the-counter style place, and the staff brings your food to the table if you're dining in. There's plenty of seating inside, along with a few tables outside the restaurant. On this visit, we ordered: 1) Kalua Pig & Cabbage - Flavorful and satisfying with no need for extra soy sauce. The cabbage was cooked perfectly--not soggy, with just the right amount of crunch. 2) Mixed Plate - This came with Teriyaki Beef Steak, Teriyaki Chicken, and Mahi Mahi with tartar sauce. The meat was tender and everything was delicious. The Mahi was especially tasty, though we wished the portion was a bit larger. The employees are always so friendly and welcoming, and the food comes out pretty quickly. It can get busy at times, but the quality never disappoints. We love coming here!

Great place to drop in for Hawaiian style food. Located on the second floor marketplace of the California Hotel. Check out their menu. They have loco moco, ahi poke, oxtail soup and much more. They provide quick and efficient service with Aloha. The restaurant has a casual and relaxing vibe. I ordered spicy Ahi Poke, Mac salad and a side of rice and it was delicious. I'll definitely return next time I'm in Las Vegas.

So the place is called Aloha Specialty, but no aloha tonight. Our last meal in Vegas. Had been looking forward all trip. It's Sunday. They close at 7pm. Got there at 620pm. The woman in front of me in line ordered and sat at a table waiting. When I get to order she declares that they are now only doing take out orders, has to be to go. There were 15+ parties eating inside. If allowed to, we would have gotten our food and be pau well before 7pm. Oh well. No aloha.

I haven't had Hawaiian food before so please excuse my question if it sounds stupid. What is the difference between loco moco and hamburger steak on the menu and are the breakfast items served all day?

The basics of a loco moco are hamburger patty or patties, two scoop rice, gravy all over and topped with an egg or two. Sides can be potato or macaroni salad. So the egg is the only difference from a hamburger steak.

    When is oxtail soup served?

Aloha Mrs. C M. We are not currently serving oxtail soup here. However, Market Street Cafe in the Cal serves it nightly from 5pm to close.

It was an incredible dining experience, and I would certainly recommend it The restaurant is located in the lovely Cosmopolitan Casino. We had a couple pre-drinks at the Chandelier Bar while we waited for our reservation. When we arrived we only waited a few minutes for them to prepare our table. The restaurant was packed. There's a surprising number of tables/and seating options. The restaurant is elegant and trendy. The lighting is very intimate, but it adds to the ambiance The menu offers a variety of unique and intriguing Asian-American-style delicacies. David Chang is a renowned chef, and everything we tried was incredible. The pork belly bao buns were one of my favorites. We ended up getting a variety of plates and sharing. For drinks they have signature and classic cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic options The staff were incredible. Very efficient, professional, and friendly. Our food and drinks came out in a timely manner, and we were well taken care of Some tips: Definitely get a reservation. There is a chance that you will get a table as a walk-in, but not a 100% chance, and you will probably end up waiting a long time I would recommend doing what we did and grab a drink or two nearby while you wait I will say, there probably isn't a bad thing in this menu, but there also isn't much on here for the "picky eater." This is also a fine-dining Vegas experience, so, I wouldn't expect the most inexpensive prices. I wouldn't worry about any of that and just try as much as you can, share, and you will have an amazing time Cheers!!

The Wor Wonton Soup ($18) is excellent and incredibly delicious! It's so nice to meet Anthony, he's VP, and came by to my table to check in, asked how everything was, he's very welcoming and personable. Ace Dragon Wok primarily focus on guest curated experiences, and can customize any order especially for dietary needs for vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free. They also make their own five spice and chili oil. Service from Joaquin, Anthony, and Juan is very kind, welcoming, attentive, and friendly! To start, I ordered the avocado salad, which was light, fresh, and a perfect way to begin the meal. I also tried the tuna crispy rice, which was quite tasty and the grilled octopus, which was very chewy. The real standout of the night was dessert! The coconut cake was absolutely to die for!
