3.5 but rounding up because it had a better price point than some other recent restaurants that we had gone to. The food was more "americanized" but it was fine. Service was prompt and friendly without being overbearing and the ambiance was cute and casual.
Second time here, excellent noodles (they have a beef oxtail one) as well as tea (served with sticks of honey crystals and lemon). Great service and also very stylish interior. Recommended if you are staying at or hanging around The Strat!
Tried this place with my daughter and her boyfriend and it was surprisingly good! We ordered Bulgogi fried rice with an egg. Spicy Dumplings, Hunan beef, Mongolian beef, hot peach tea and for dessert we got 2 orders of donuts. The spicy dumplings came first with our tea. The tea was so good, and they serve it with lemon, honey and sugar sticks! That was pretty cool. I felt i had to drink the tea with my pinky finger out, all fancy like! The spicy dumplings were steamed to perfection, and covered with that spicy chili crisp sauce I love! Did not try the bulgogi rice my daughter ordered because it had kimchi in it and im not a fan. Looked good though. The two beef dishes were amazing and 3 out of 5 heat was a pretty perfect heat level for me and I love spicy everything! The donuts were great as well! They were so fresh and hot we had to let them cool down, but ended up playing hot potato with ourselves as we couldn't wait. Highly recommend to anyone to visit this gem! The staff were super friendly and the atmosphere was soft and really nice.
Nice restaurant in The Strat. Potstickers were amazing and the Asian donuts for dessert are a must! The noodle bowl was ok, but service was a bit slow and they weren't even that busy.
I stumbled upon this place inside the Strat. I loved the decor, it resembled something like a back alley. it was very reminiscent of a back alley in China town LA. There wasn't very many people in there on a Tuesday night however the service was super slow and satisfactory. Despite the slow service the food was outstanding. I tried the bulgogi fried rice that came presented with an egg on top and was surprised that it came served with mushrooms mixed in which was very delicious. I also decided to try some cocktails and couldn't find one interesting enough to really get into so I went with the strawberry sake and a glass of plum wine. The sake was great and the plum wine was regular since it really is my go to when I feel like I cant find something better to try.
To be quite frank, I wasn't expecting much when we decided to come to CHI Asian Kitchen for dinner. We were seeing a show at The Strat and wanted to eat in close proximity and this place seemed to fit the bill. We didn't make a reservation but were seated right away. It wasn't crazy busy, but it was not empty in here either. It helps that it was early on a weeknight. The place is very cutely decorated, like a night market. I called it the Disney version of an Asian night market to my husband, and I meant it in a nice way for sure. It was clean and it was a feast for the eyes. Our server was really bubbly and friendly. She was really great with recommendations and checking up on us. When it got a little busier, her attention waned a little, but she was always back with a smile and an apology. I didn't need an apology, but I accepted it as really nice thing for her to do. I lover super friendly and easy to speak to people. Biggest shocker was how good the cocktails were. They were pretty expensive, so I appreciate that they actually tasted well balanced and delicious. I'd order Confucius' Smile all the time. The food was shockingly good too! Not going to lie, I used to work at the casino kitty corner to The Strat and their Asian restaurant doesn't hold a candle to this place. I was expecting mediocre and got really good, shockingly authentic but also fun and imaginative. The food was also fresh and made with fresh ingredients. I was so impressed. I actually regret that I couldn't fit more Hunan beef into me, it was that good. The chicken karaage bao buns were so freaking good, excellent balance of flavors and perfectly fried chicken. All in all, I'd come back here again. Sure, it was a little expensive for a local, but it was so good, I'd be willing to come back.
I know this is not the best Chinese cuisine in town, it isn't Chinatown...but....it is pretty good. The restaurant is fun and trendy...somewhere you would take out of town friends for an experience. Decoration is great and background music very fun!!! We ordered spicy edamame, pot stickers and the Kung Pao noodles and asked for spicy. Two appetizers came first..the edamame portion is HUGE...it was so delicious. The pot stickers were ok, could have been warmer and maybe a little bland for the filling...I will leave those out of the order next time, especially after seeing the portion size of the edamame. The kung pao noodles were the star of the show...just a little kick of spice...all very fresh vegetables with chicken and peanuts. This is also a big portion...only 19 dollars for this...a screaming deal for this portion size! Extra bonus mention...there is a very clean restroom inside the restaurant...normally in a casino you have to exit and use the public restroom...but not here. Very nice! Really liked finding this new gem...will be back for sure.
This restaurant is inside the Stratosphere hotel and casino and parking was free. We came here for dinner. I ordered the beef pho which was huge and it came with all the extras to mix in. The pieces of meat were big but a little tough for me. My spouse ordered the seafood yakisoba which was huge as well. He really enjoyed it and ate the whole thing. Our waitress was nice and the restaurant was spacious.
This place is like a Hidden Gem in Vegas! The ambiance is so relaxing. Service is always great! Food is very tasty and plenty! Depending how hungry we are, our foods we get is the Charred Beans, Potstickers, Spring Rolls, Sweet and Sour Pork Ribs, and House Fried Rice! We ALWAYS eat here at least once when we visit.
Pleasantly surprised with this place! Stayed at the Strat for the BSB concert and wanted to do something close by the hotel and we noticed this place. Nice atmospheric interior, and many interesting things to choose off the menu. I decided to get the beef bulgogi fried rice and sampled a bunch of appetizers: spicy cucumber salad, charred green beans, and the spicy edamame. My favorite were the green beans. The rice was also good and had very good flavor. Highly recommend this spot!
I will be back whenever I am in town. This bowl was so good I brought the left overs on the plane and finished it off at home and it was still very tasty. Toms of well cooked seafood with a very tasty broth/sauce!!' Did note disappoint! The portions and prices are fair considering it's in a hotel on the strip. A must try!
During my stay at The Strat, I received a $25 food and drink credit to use at one of the hotel's restaurants. After weighing my options, I decided to try Chi Asian Kitchen--and I'm glad I did.it's simular to PF Chang's. The atmosphere looks mid to high end. I loved the huge red dragon that you follow from the entrance to the dining area. Going in, I was expecting inflated hotel prices, but I was pleasantly surprised to see several menu items priced under $25. I ordered the Mongolian beef with steamed rice, and the dish hit the spot. The flavors were solid, the portion satisfying, and the beef was cooked well. That said, the amount of oil used was definitely on the heavy side--it didn't ruin the meal, but it was noticeable. The process for using the food credit is a bit specific: * You must dine at a Strat-owned restaurant * The meal must be charged to your room * The credit is automatically applied at checkout * And importantly, any difference owed does not come out of your deposit Bottom line: Chi Asian Kitchen is a solid choice if you're looking to make the most of your dining credit at The Strat. The food is flavorful, reasonably priced (for Vegas hotel dining), and the experience is hassle-free--just watch the oil content.
Didn't expect much of this place. Its located inside the stratosphere and oh boy food is delicious! Inside the restaurant is pretty nice and our server Connie has been great. Got some good apps. Everything is tasty! Would be back for sure.

It's a nice intimate restaurant with an Asian flair. You'll see a huge dragon on the ceiling upon entering. The hostess were nice and efficient and friendly. Parking was plenty and free for locals. If you're from out of town you'll have to pay for parking sorry. The food is a hit and miss. Sometime they have really good specials and some of the dishes such as their oxtail soup was overwhelming. The oxtail meat was good and soft but the broth was overwhelming. It tasted like hot water full of soy sauce. I've had really good oxtail soup but sadly this one was not it. Our friends order pork bau buns and sweet and sour pork. My wife ordered black cod with rice but we forgot to take photos. That's how good it was. She gobbled it down and forgot all about photos lol Friday and Saturday we discovered they have live dj playing good music after 9pm but not overwhelmingly loud. This place is my absolute favorite stop for a delicious dinner! The hosts are all so friendly and give off the happiest as well as, liveliest energy; honestly it spreads around this cute restaurant like wildfire. We come back to Chi every time because the food is mouthwatering good! Pick any dish you can't go wrong! The dishes are always made with love, served in generous portions and bursting with flavor. We tried this restaurant that was in our hotel because my BF cause saw an advertisement at vallet of food he wanted come to find out it is not longer served!! For starters we enjoyed Spicy Szechuan Dumplings & Korean Short Rib Skewers Both were absolutely flavorful and so yummy!! I ordered the BBQ Pork Fried Rice which was Ok a little dry for my liking. My bf ordered Mongolian Beef which was very flavorful and delicious. This was an Ok restaurant for both of us unfortunately no Wow factors!!! read more

food was actually very good! they were very good flavor and cooked well and the seafood was very tasty. not my fav dumplings and wasnt that spicy for me. but the yakisoba and the pork bao buns were sooo good! also the best bao buns ive ever tried! very pleasantly surprised at the food. staff were nice too and the inside was cool and had kinda street aesthetic. it was kept clean too and the restrooms also. they didnt validate parking though read more
I went here around opening on Saturday to get some early dinner. This seems to be a popular spot as there were many parties waiting outside a few minutes before opening, but that is mostly because the place hasn't opened yet. The restaurant layout provides some themes across, with an emphasis of street / alley vibes. There are plenty of seating. My friend and I shared the Shanghai scallion pancake, pork belly bao bun, spicy Szechuan dumplings, and XO shrimp noodles, which was a good amount of food for 2 people. This was 3 appetizers and 1 entree. The scallion pancakes were okay - not that flavorful as they skimped on the green onions, but the sauce provided did add some flavor. The pork belly bao bun was excellent - slightly sweet yet savory, and the pork belly has not much fat yet very tender. The spicy Szechuan dumplings were honestly not that spicy - it has the delicious chili oil that I find fairly addicting, but it did not really have a spicy kick to it. The XO shrimp noodles were spicier than the spicy Szechuan dumplings, and it was executed fairly okay. They say they use egg noodles, but there were some leftover udon noodles within, which I find a bit strange. They only gave a few pieces of shrimp, so that makes the dish not that worth; the rest is vegetables and noodles. I would expect a bit more for $23. Service is excellent as they check up on you regularly and make sure the water cup is close to full. This is especially helpful when Vegas at this time is extremely hot, so stay hydrated! read more

Checked this place out while we were in Vegas. It got the attention of my sister & husband's eye. Came on a Thursday night & was able to be seated right away. Staff were friendly and food came out quickly. The portion sizes are big so if you're casino hopping or don't have a microwave in your room then definitely recommend sharing some of the entrees. read more

Great service from hostess to the bus staff. Egg roll appetizer was perfectly cooked and the sauce was a little tangy and sweet. Wife and I ordered walnut shrimp and Bulgogi Fried rice. It was plenty for the two of us. We should have shared our meals; which is an option. No hot mustard, but they have alternatives to add some heat . The pho noodles I heard is noting to brag about according to our server. Unlimited refills at $7 per drink. Bill came to about $60. read more
Chi Asian Kitchen sits towards the rideshare drop off entrance of the Strat Hotel. It feels like it's in a more secluded area of the hotel and strip but don't let that fool you! It's hip, draws a nice line from authentic to classy and is well worth trying out. My friend and I were absolutely starving since we hadn't eaten anything all day and it was approaching evening time. Luckily, since we had a room at The Strat, we decided to take our chances and grab dinner downstairs at CHĪ Asian Kitchen. Between the two of us, we ordered three dishes: Spicy Szechuan Dumplings, Bulgogi Fried Rice, and the XO Shrimp Noodles. We actually couldn't finish what we ordered, but a third friend of ours showed up and we just offered what we had left for him to eat. Even after he was finished eating, we still had leftover. Given that it is Las Vegas, and this place is located on the strip, we did have to wait a little bit before we were seated. It wasn't that long of a wait though. The service was good and interactive with conversation, which was pleasant. read more
This place is upscale and located inside The Strat! Dim lights and big booths! A lot of different types of seating available. The food selections are varied! The drink selection is good. More wines than other items *warning alcoholic drinks are expensive* The staff were very friendly and totally helpful. I gladly endorse their style of service! The host, the manager, the server and the runner! The food and drinks were top quality and expedient! Restrooms in the casino. Lots of room parking and even better if you're staying at the hotel! read more

The food and service were most excellent! Hats off to chef Humberto! The crab wontons and orange chicken were amazing. Let's not forget the Hunan beef with just the right amount of spice for those of us who must be careful. Our server was attentive and kept the drinks flowing. Thanks Roann! Don't order delivery through GrubHub for this restaurant. This was a $93 order and this was all we got. Complete rip off. *Edit* after we tried the food, we were even more angry because it didn't even taste good! The ribs were burnt to char and they tried to mask it with the sauce, but sauce can't hide when you're eating charcoal. The Korean Fried Chicken we ordered came as buns when we were expecting actual chicken wings, so that was already upsetting. They should have noted that these were baos and not actually Korean fried chicken, because there wasn't anything actually Korean about this. It was just blandly breaded chicken that had a little heat. The buns when the pickled radish did nothing to add to the dish either. The only thing that was good was the egg tarts. We threw everything else away because as much as we tried to eat it, we just couldn't. Horrible food that came with greedy prices. 0/10 read more
Interesting bicycle decor adorned our dining area. We were immediately seated at 5pm with no reservation. We ordered Summer Salad, Korean Short Rib Skewers with cucumber salad and the Salt & Pepper Calamari for appetizers. The salad and ribs were great, but we sent back the calamari for being extremely overcooked. We ordered the Orange Chicken and half Peking Duck for dinner. The duck was delicious, as was the Orange Chicken. Service was good, with the server regularly checking on us. A few times we did have to repeat our requests. Overall, a nice visit. read more

Great atmosphere, fantastic food, at decent prices for Vegas. I opted for the Ni Hao Cucumber martini as my drink choice. When I saw the restaurant logo emblazoned on the foam top of my drink, I was super-impressed. And when I tasted it, I was even more impressed. Major mixology going on here. My menu choice was the Seafood Yakisoba. Nice, big shrimp and scallops cooked to perfection matched the lightly cooked veggies and excellent noodles. With the cocktail, it was even better. And the service was exemplary. What's even more surprising is that this establishment is at the Strat, which is not the most highly-rated casino in town. So, skip the accommodations there and just go for the food. The Asian fusion at Chi is worth your effort to get there. read more
