I was craving Chinese food, but there weren't many highly rated options nearby. Since this spot was within walking distance of where I was staying (and had a cute name, which didn't hurt), we decided to give it a try--and I'm so glad we did. We ordered the egg rolls, pork belly ramen, and shrimp fried rice. I'll admit, I chose the fried rice because I saw a photo someone posted, and it looked incredible--and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The rice was cooked perfectly, full of flavor, and really hit the spot. The egg rolls were a bit on the smaller side, but they were delicious--crispy, well-seasoned, and paired perfectly with the dipping sauce. The standout, though, was the ramen. It was phenomenal--rich, satisfying, and easily one of the best parts of the meal. Even though it wasn't strictly traditional Chinese food, everything we ordered exceeded expectations and completely satisfied my craving. I would definitely recommend this place and wouldn't hesitate to come back if I'm ever in the area again.

I stopped by El Cortez to check out the recent renovations, and the space definitely feels more open and brighter than before. While walking through, I noticed a new spot tucked in the corner where I'm pretty sure a pizza place used to be--Hot Noods. The name alone caught my attention, and the vibe sealed it. Think neon lights, a slightly futuristic diner feel, and that classic Vegas energy. I was greeted right away by two hostesses and asked if I could place a to-go order. They were welcoming and helpful as I looked over the menu. While they offer a variety of ramen and toppings, two things immediately stood out to me: chicken wings and chicken karaage. Chicken karaage is one of my favorite Japanese comfort foods, and I'm always down for good wings--so that made my decision easy. I placed my order, took in the décor for a bit (those neon signs are a nice touch), and headed home once it was ready. And let me just say... so good. The karaage was juicy with a crispy coating that had that perfect sweet and savory balance--exactly what you want. The wings were just as satisfying: crispy on the outside, well-seasoned, and tender on the inside. Also, shoutout to Claire for the great service--friendly and welcoming from start to finish. I'll definitely be back. Next time I might explore the ramen, but honestly... those wings and karaage alone are enough to bring me back. I hope you have a great experience if you stop in and enjoy some good food. Njoy!

Hot Noods Noodle Bar is a fun downtown Fremont find, especially if you're looking for something satisfying after a night out. It's located right near Fremont Street inside the El Cortez area, so it's super easy to walk to. The noodle bowls are customizable with different noodles, proteins, and spice levels. The heat builds nicely without overpowering the dish, and the noodles stay chewy and hold onto the broth. Portions are filling, prices feel reasonable, and the food comes out fast. The neon-lit interior gives it a cool downtown vibe, and it's open late on weekends, which is a big plus. Solid spot for flavorful noodles when you're in the Fremont Street area.

We are avid gamblers and got a few vouchers to eat at any restaurant at El Cortez, so We decided to try this place. The food was good but the service was the worst I've ever received. I received my ramen order first, then about 20-30mins later our dumplings arrived. Another 10 mins pass by and my bf finally got his chicken chow mein. Our server was nice but it did not make up how slow and disorganized the service was overall. Everyone working just seemed confuse like it was their first day at the job. From the host to the server to the busser. If the service was better we would definitely come back. We ate here on Monday May 18 around 8pm.

The wings here were very crispy and delicious. Everybody was so nice to us. The service was great. I love the ambience, especially that it was in the casino. Plenty of space for parties.

A surprising hidden gem in El Cortez! For breakfast, I had the congee. It was probably the most flavorful congee I've had--without being a salt bomb! There was lots of ginger and white pepper and the chicken broth was well flavored. Servers were super kind and friendly. Attention to small tiny details--instead of a hash brown, they have a croquette with creamy potatoes inside. Inside was comfortable and modern. Will have to come back for breakfast and lunch! Hoping to try their noodles.

Hot Noods is a casual Asian Restaurant and Bar located in the El Cortez Casino and Hotel in Downtown Las Vegas. (Parking is free). They offer several different appetizers, a variety of ramen, a few noodle and rice dishes, vanilla and green tea ice cream and more. Inside it's kind of Las Vegas looking with neon, modern light fixtures, and clear pink table tops. We had to get the chicken Poh Poh's Dumplings because they were amazing at their former restaurant Chinglish. Here I think the recipes changed. They are still good but the dumpling is different and so is the sauce. We were both BLOWN AWAY with the two ramens we tried. (Tonkotsu & Veggie) BOTH had so much going on with them. WOW! Even the chili paste was something special. Also even the corn in the veggie ramen was packed with flavor. My only peeve or criticism is that the Brussels sprouts should have been cooked slightly longer. Our server was very sweet and efficient. This Ramen was so many levels up than from most places that I have tried. WOW!

Hot Noods located in the El Cortez Downtown free parking if you are staying or eating at the restaurants/gambling. Friendly service HOT Noods nice and hot just the way I like it :).

Top-notch Asian cuisine. I could eat 50 of those vegetable rolls with no problem. They should offer it as a platter. They're so good. I wish this mom and pop business all the best.

Ambience was great Server was nice Food was great proportions are a bit small My favorite was the Brussel sprouts

This place is a solid 4.5 but we don't do halves here at Yelp. So, I bump it up to a 5 because I got my ramen TO GO, and it was still SO good. It was nearing the closing of the restaurant and there was a chance they would just throw my food together with no thought, some places do that when they are trying to close up. But this was all very delicious. The pork was cooked extra crispy per the recommendation of the hostess who took my order. I asked her if she's eaten most things on the menu and she enthusiastically said yes. I asked between the tonkatsu ramen or the shoyu. She wholeheartedly recommended the tonkatsu and I can see why. So creamy and rich flavors. The pork was perfectly crispy, the egg was cooked to my liking- soft boiled, and was so yummy. There were mushrooms, sprouts, seaweed, and green onions as toppings. Also was some type of chili oil on the side. That was a nice touch. My biggest gripe with the place is $8 for a Thai tea?!?! But I still ordered it lol and you know what it's perfect. Not syrupy sweet. It has a strong black tea flavor with condensed milk and nice and cold. Price point is too high but at least it was how I like it. Can't say much for dining in, but I had great experience getting my food for take out. Would definitely come back and try some of the fried chicken that I heard is good.

The service was prompt and friendly. It's inside the El Cortez. My husband and I both got the chicken chow mein and it was the best we've ever had! The chicken was soooo good! This restaurant isn't noisy. We will be back!

Amazing! We had the fried green beana, chicken wings, egg rolls, dumplings, fried rice, chow mein, and their house dressed cucumber salad. Wow. Everything was fresh and tasty. We love how light the breading is on their fried foods. Come see them in the El Cortez. Worth it!

Ordered through DoorDash…read more I wasn't feeling the best today, so my partner ordered me veggie rice and tofu pudding from Lucky House. I was pleasantly surprised. The veggies were well seasoned and still had a nice bite while being cooked through. Rice is typical Chinese rice that doesn't clump together (tasted fresh and that it was cooked that day too), and the tofu pudding was delicious (nice and silky with a sweet ginger syrup). Would love to come in-person next time to try their other dishes!

The pork is covered with thick batter. It is neither crispy nor flavorful. We also had the honey walnut shrimp. The shrimps were big but there's too much mayo on it. But I like that the shrimps lay on top of steamed broccoli. Also ordered Tofu with veggies dish which was decent. It's my first time here so I don't know whether it's a fluke or it's just a different chef, or the regular chef has an 'off' day. The place is really nice though with pretty tablecloths and nice chair covers. Service is good. But overall -- for a Chinese restaurant- it all boils down to the taste of the food. Maybe I'll give it another try in the future. We'll see.

They will ask for the party size and reply back with a number (ticket number) that you will talk to the host when you arrive. If the table is not ready yet, they will hand you the physical ticket number. I think it was maybe 5 minutes tops before we got seated, so while my group arrived and I parked, it was about time we got the table. There were maybe 100 people waiting outside, so do not be put off by it, as the restaurant is pretty huge, with a front room and back room. We got various dim sum, of course including har gow and siu mai. The dim sum quality here is pretty good, and I loved that they still do the push cart dim sum as most places abstracted that out in favor of standard paper menu ordering. It feels more traditional and you get to see the dim sum before committing to it. We got a bunch of dishes to share, and even ventured out of the ordinary including intestines and bell pepper shrimp paste, and even those are solid. It takes a while to flag down a server and requires multiple follow-ups to get what we need. We flagged down 5 separate times before finally getting iced water, which is unacceptable since while Chinese restaurants like these have poor service in inattentiveness, at least you get service quickly if you flag down someone. The only way we were able to get service is for me to talk to them in Cantonese, so when it is busy and you try to ask for something in English, forget it.

I wanted congee and was told that I had to order a larger portions off the regular menu even though it was also on the dim sum menu. The congee was a bit watered down and lacked fresh ginger slices so I wouldn't order again. We also got the offal soup and the flavor was on point. Not for everyone, but we liked it and mixing it with the congee helped bring more flavor to that dish. The siu mai was pretty good too. In total, a pretty good experience. I would come back and try other things next time.

The meat was tender and paired perfectly with the "pineapple-style" crust on the bun. You have to try this if you come here. We also got the radish cake, shumai, sticky rice in lotus leaf, shrimp rice rolls, and deep-fried shrimp-stuffed eggplant. Everything was good, but I especially loved the radish cake and the deep-fried eggplant with shrimp. The radish cake had such a great texture and a rich, savory flavor. It was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and the chunks of meat paired so well with it. Easily one of the best radish cakes I've had at a dim sum place. Finding the Real Deal: Dim Sumlicious is the Authentic Yum Cha Las Vegas Has Been Missing…read moreLas Vegas has no shortage of Chinese restaurants, but anyone who's grown up going to yum cha knows the difference between dim sum done right and dim sum done for tourists. I've been on a quiet, slightly obsessive hunt across this city for the genuine article -- the kind of Sunday morning experience that transports you straight to a bustling Hong Kong tea house. And friends, I found it. It's called Dim Sumlicious, and the name does not lie. The moment the first bamboo basket hit our table, I knew this was different. Dim Sumlicious has a chef with over 30 years of experience honing his craft in Hong Kong, and it shows in every single bite. This isn't the frozen-and-steamed shortcut situation you'll find at so many spots around town. These are handmade, skillfully executed classics that carry the weight of real tradition behind them. The har gow wrappers had that perfect translucent delicacy -- thin enough to see through, sturdy enough to hold. The siu mai were plump and properly seasoned. The char siu bao, both baked and steamed, hit every note I was hoping for. Cart after cart brought something worth ordering, and nothing disappointed. But beyond the food, what struck me about Dim Sumlicious was the atmosphere of care. The service was warm, attentive, and genuinely hospitable -- a rarity in a city where restaurants can feel like they're processing customers on a conveyor belt. If you're a dim sum devotee who's been settling for "pretty good," your search is over. Dim Sumlicious is the real deal -- no asterisks, no caveats. Make a reservation, bring the whole family, and go hungry. Las Vegas finally has its yum cha moment. Don't sleep on it.
