My husband and I were staying at the El Cortez after moving hotels. We were in town for EDC Las Vegas and most of our group had left, so we were the only ones and we wanted to switch hotels and stay off strip. We were walking around the casino and we got pretty hungry. We had a later check-in and we stumbled upon Hot Noods. We looked at the menu and saw they had ramen which we were okay with getting. The prices are similar to what you get out here in the Bay Area, so it wasn't too bad. The restaurant is tucked away in the back of the casino near the high-limit area. The place does offer reservations, but when we came there it wasn't busy at all. There were only a couple tables that were occupied, so we were seated immediately. I forgot who our server was, but she was super sweet and helped us take our order. My husband and I got the Tonkotsu Ramen which was about $18 a bowl. I also got a side of black garlic oil which was about $1.50 extra. I have to say that I'm impressed by the quality of ramen. The broth was rich, not overly salty, and delicious! I love ramen, but I usually don't drink the broth completely since it can get salty or I'm just super full. However I did?? and I really enjoyed each sip! The portion size of this ramen was perfect for me. The ramen noodles were cooked perfectly, and I LOVED how the black garlic oil enhanced everything. If you have a bigger appetite, I would opt to have more noodles in. I would also recommend adding more chashu to your ramen because it was SO good. It was seared/torched perfectly. I would definitely come back and grab their ramen again! The server was super sweet and explained their process of perfecting their broth. It was delicious and I'd definitely recommend trying their lunch/dinner options!
Nice staff and nice decor but ramen was prepared room temperature, sent it back and it came back a little warmer.
Absolutely loved it here! Everything was absolutely wonderful, our dumplings, pad Thai noodles and udon were delicious!! The service was great, super cute place with a fun vibe and great ambience. It was very clean and very conveniently located inside of the El Cortez Casino on Fremont!
First time here and let me start by saying, I don't usually eat ramen. Since we were at the El Cortez, they don't have many restaurants in this casino, we settled for Hot Noods. The hostess was NOT friendly AT ALL...in fact, she seemed quite annoyed with her job. I had the veggie ramen and it was really delicious. My friend really liked his ramen. We started with fried green beans and they were delicious. Our waitress was nice but I have to commend one young man....as we sat and waited for our food, he was hustling from table to table, cleaning as soon as a customer left. He even took a moment to ask us if we needed anything....he was definitely multitasking. When our waitress arrived, I commented how he was all over the restaurant and pointed out how he was a good worker. The waitress said it was his first day on the job, which I would never have guessed....i hope his employer knows what he/she has in this worker. Definitely would return and recommend.
I was craving Chinese food, but there weren't many highly rated options nearby. Since this spot was within walking distance of where I was staying (and had a cute name, which didn't hurt), we decided to give it a try--and I'm so glad we did. We ordered the egg rolls, pork belly ramen, and shrimp fried rice. I'll admit, I chose the fried rice because I saw a photo someone posted, and it looked incredible--and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The rice was cooked perfectly, full of flavor, and really hit the spot. The egg rolls were a bit on the smaller side, but they were delicious--crispy, well-seasoned, and paired perfectly with the dipping sauce. The standout, though, was the ramen. It was phenomenal--rich, satisfying, and easily one of the best parts of the meal. Even though it wasn't strictly traditional Chinese food, everything we ordered exceeded expectations and completely satisfied my craving. I would definitely recommend this place and wouldn't hesitate to come back if I'm ever in the area again.
Hot Noods is a casual Asian Restaurant and Bar located in the El Cortez Casino and Hotel in Downtown Las Vegas. (Parking is free). They offer several different appetizers, a variety of ramen, a few noodle and rice dishes, vanilla and green tea ice cream and more. Inside it's kind of Las Vegas looking with neon, modern light fixtures, and clear pink table tops. We had to get the chicken Poh Poh's Dumplings because they were amazing at their former restaurant Chinglish. Here I think the recipes changed. They are still good but the dumpling is different and so is the sauce. We were both BLOWN AWAY with the two ramens we tried. (Tonkotsu & Veggie) BOTH had so much going on with them. WOW! Even the chili paste was something special. Also even the corn in the veggie ramen was packed with flavor. My only peeve or criticism is that the Brussels sprouts should have been cooked slightly longer. Our server was very sweet and efficient. This Ramen was so many levels up than from most places that I have tried. WOW!

My go-to items are always the chicken karaage and chicken wings. They're consistently delicious--crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor. This visit, I decided to try the deep-fried green beans, and wow, they were so good! Lightly coated in tempura batter and fried until perfectly crisp, they were addictive. Honestly, I'd choose these over French fries any day. I'm not much of a ramen person unless it's cold outside, so I usually stick to the appetizers, and they've never let me down. The service has also been consistently good. Shout-out to my waitress, Bree (I hope I'm spelling her name correctly), who was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was taken care of. The atmosphere is fun too. The neon lights give it that classic Vegas feel, and I got a kick out of the anime playing on the screens throughout the restaurant. I'll definitely be back the next time I find myself wandering around downtown. If you're looking for a casual spot with tasty bites and a fun vibe, give this place a try
We are avid gamblers and got a few vouchers to eat at any restaurant at El Cortez, so We decided to try this place. The food was good but the service was the worst I've ever received. I received my ramen order first, then about 20-30mins later our dumplings arrived. Another 10 mins pass by and my bf finally got his chicken chow mein. Our server was nice but it did not make up how slow and disorganized the service was overall. Everyone working just seemed confuse like it was their first day at the job. From the host to the server to the busser. If the service was better we would definitely come back. We ate here on Monday May 18 around 8pm.

A surprising hidden gem in El Cortez! For breakfast, I had the congee. It was probably the most flavorful congee I've had--without being a salt bomb! There was lots of ginger and white pepper and the chicken broth was well flavored. Servers were super kind and friendly. Attention to small tiny details--instead of a hash brown, they have a croquette with creamy potatoes inside. Inside was comfortable and modern. Will have to come back for breakfast and lunch! Hoping to try their noodles.

This place is a solid 4.5 but we don't do halves here at Yelp. So, I bump it up to a 5 because I got my ramen TO GO, and it was still SO good. It was nearing the closing of the restaurant and there was a chance they would just throw my food together with no thought, some places do that when they are trying to close up. But this was all very delicious. The pork was cooked extra crispy per the recommendation of the hostess who took my order. I asked her if she's eaten most things on the menu and she enthusiastically said yes. I asked between the tonkatsu ramen or the shoyu. She wholeheartedly recommended the tonkatsu and I can see why. So creamy and rich flavors. The pork was perfectly crispy, the egg was cooked to my liking- soft boiled, and was so yummy. There were mushrooms, sprouts, seaweed, and green onions as toppings. Also was some type of chili oil on the side. That was a nice touch. My biggest gripe with the place is $8 for a Thai tea?!?! But I still ordered it lol and you know what it's perfect. Not syrupy sweet. It has a strong black tea flavor with condensed milk and nice and cold. Price point is too high but at least it was how I like it. Can't say much for dining in, but I had great experience getting my food for take out. Would definitely come back and try some of the fried chicken that I heard is good.

We were staying at the El Cortez and we're pretty excited to see that they had put a new restaurant inside of the casino. The last time you were there it was a subway. This was a great surprise. We decided to have dinner there the first night, but we stayed and everything we ordered was absolutely delicious the Ramen, the green beans. Everything we tried we just loved The customer service was great young ladies very friendly We went over the menu and the choices were great Love the decor the vibe was great The next night we placed a Togo order and waited about 15min we took it up to our room and everything was packaged great the bag had everything we needed in it, the food was just wax delicious as it was eating in the restaurant We went one more time before we left that vacation can't wait to go back read more

Hot Noods Noodle Bar is a fun downtown Fremont find, especially if you're looking for something satisfying after a night out. It's located right near Fremont Street inside the El Cortez area, so it's super easy to walk to. The noodle bowls are customizable with different noodles, proteins, and spice levels. The heat builds nicely without overpowering the dish, and the noodles stay chewy and hold onto the broth. Portions are filling, prices feel reasonable, and the food comes out fast. The neon-lit interior gives it a cool downtown vibe, and it's open late on weekends, which is a big plus. Solid spot for flavorful noodles when you're in the Fremont Street area. read more

We came to try this in the morning and unfortunately they only served breakfast. My wife ordered the avocado toast with poke. It was very bland and she had to douse it with salt and pepper. I got the protein plate, came with 3 eggs, supposed to have 3 strips of bacon but I only received two, and two pieces of Pork cashu. It was definitely not worth the $20 especially being that I was short a bacon. $3 for the toast. Can't recommend this place for breakfast. The two Stars is for the staff. They were very pleasant. read more

Unexpectedly good ramen in Vegas. Exactly what we needed after EDC~~~ Our group of 3 swung by Hot Noods on a Tuesday afternoon, were seated immediately. The theme is pretty tongue in cheek, very befitting of Vegas. Super lovely, friendly staff. SHOYU RAMEN: Rich broth with plenty of umami. I was impressed by the quality of toppings and noodles. Everything was quite flavorful and well-balanced. THAI ICED TEA: Heavier on the milk if you're into that. Quite sweet. Not bad. Service was fast. We arrived to the el Cortez casino at 12:30 on a Friday afternoon, it wasn't crowded and we were seated immediately by the hostess. The restaurant is small but cute and is decorated really nicely. We started with poh poh's dumplings- with chicken as a starter. I keep forgetting to take a pic before digging in, sorry :) we ordered pad Thai and shrimp fried rice. The food was pretty good But if I were to go back, I would definitely make the dumplings my meal! The dumplings were really tasty, overall not a bad meal. read more
I had a play downtown last night and I decided to give the new noodle restaurant in the El Cortez a try. The ambiance is fun starting with the name and the logo. Perfect for Las Vegas. I sat at the counter. In a short time, the hostess/server came with menus--drink and food. I had looked at it online before going and had decided on the pork chashu bowl which the menu describes as--Pork chashu, pickled red ginger, green onion, rice. The wait time was minimal. The chashu was very good but it's a small portion for the price. Also, the rice could be a lot warmer instead of being almost cool. The flavors were excellent and the ginger really highlighted the bowl. For dessert, I asked about the green tea ice cream and that's what I ordered. I was brought vanilla instead (one of their two choices) with no explanation. The restaurant has been open for just about one week so they need some time to get things right. The amiance is fun. I will be back in the future. This is a good addition to the El's food line up. read more

I gotta say this place was off the charts. First time to EL Cortez. Wanted something quick to eat went to their diner as soon as you walk in the front entrance, they said we had to wait 20 mins, as we look around with about with 20 open tables. So ended up, browsing around and found, HOT NOODS best idea ever, food was delicious. Service was awesome. I have to recommend this to anybody that wants to eat some Ramen. Will be back soon. When your name is Hot Noods you better deliver. The tonkotsu ramen was . The broth was rich and they don't skimp on the noodles. The black fungus and green onion were abundant. And the soft shell crab appie was fantastic. The servers were really nice. Id definitely recommend people to come here for their ramen. They also other types like pad Thai etc. the ambiance was pretty no frills. It is inside the EL Cortez hotel so you have to walk through the smoke filled casino to get there. read more

Amazing! We had the fried green beana, chicken wings, egg rolls, dumplings, fried rice, chow mein, and their house dressed cucumber salad. Wow. Everything was fresh and tasty. We love how light the breading is on their fried foods. Come see them in the El Cortez. Worth it! read more
