At Palms Hotel. High quality dim sum with some items that's hit miss but overall decent quality. However not sure if it's $$$ that good though. Maybe if 80% was superb, then makes sense? But it is Vegas, where locally it's full of not so great Chinese food. Local Vegas has good enough Chinese food for tourists coming to international, midwest or in general in a good mood to realize much. For Vegas dim sum, Ping Pong Pong (yes its an actually restaurant name, and not a racist joke) would be our go to IF we have to pick a place. There are other noncasino local places. But I sadly feel that Tim Ho Wan and Ping Pang Pong are better options even if priced higher. For me, I prefer not to pay for any....if it's free, or a great deal (like our friend using their rewards on the group, then yes) haha

omg!! yes I finally get to try this place inside the palms hotel and casino. Everything that we ordered came out perfect!! I celebrated my birthday dinner here last week. It was decently priced and food was bomb.com Service was quick and always around to check on us. Ambiance was beautiful as always! I will be back for sure. Special occasion or not! next time with my besties!

I've eaten here a few times with my family when visiting. Food is always pretty good, price is fair for Vegas and the ambiance is always on point. Compared to the Irvine location, this spot is much better across the board. Further breakdown below: Ambiance (4/5): It's situated inside Palms Casino, so it doesn't have the best air quality, obviously, but it's well decorated and inviting. Lighting is nice and the bits of Chinese decor and aesthetics is appreciated. Food (3.5/5): Nothing really blows your mind. Prices are on the higher end than what you'd find at typical dimsum joints (such as those a bit further down in Chinatown), but they somewhat make up for it in overall better service/ambiance and higher quality of ingredients. On our most recent visit, we ordered the XO rice rolls and it was tasty and slightly spicy, but a little dryer than we'd like. The ha gow (steamed shrimp dumplings) were well flavored and the shrimp was nicely cooked. My toddlers enjoyed their signature BBQ pork buns with the crispy exterior. Their lo mai gai (lotus leaf sticky rice) was big enough to share with two toddlers and adults for a small bite each; I liked that it had huge chunks of chicken. Service (4/5): Servers are always attentive, friendly and quick to serve you. They're also super nice to my kids. Great job, management! I know we'll come again, as we have many times when we're looking for a nicer place to have dimsum.

Arrived for lunch during the week. To avoid the wait we opted to sit at the bar which had two open seats available. The bartender took our order and was friendly with small talk. I ordered beef stew, won ton noodle soup, and a chicken rice bowl. The beef stew with daikon contained a generous portion and the taste reminded me of Hong Kong with the savory taste. The chicken rice contained black mushrooms, Chinese sausage, and ginger and the juices soaked onto the rice which was heavenly tasting. Lastly the wonton soup noodles arrived which was authentic tasting and comforting although it could have been a bit hotter so I requested our waiter to bring some additional broth which he did promptly. Overall, I really enjoyed our experience here with the solid service and authentic Cantonese cuisine.

Had a girl's night out before a concert so decided to try Tim Ho Wan to experience their dim sum. Parking is free at the Palm's so go and get some, they even take to go orders too. We had a dinner reservation, so for Sunday evening they were quite busy. We were seated within 5-10 minutes. Dining area is nice, modern, and inviting. Our waitress was friendly and she brought water and hot chrysanthemum tea. We ordered a few of the staples like the bbq pork buns, noodles, the wagyu rice balls, har gaw, shomai, and spicy cucumber. All items were tasty sweet, salty, and spicy. The chili sauce and soy sauce helped enhance their flavors. I've had dim sum before, but the flavors here are above the rest. Everything we ate was hot and fresh, I highly recommend it. The bbq pork buns were amazingly delicious as well as the lava sesame balls! My compliments to all the staff and the chefs as we enjoyed our dinner and it was the highlight of the evening, excellent food quality and service thanks!

I love a good dimsum. Traditionally they are pushing a cart around with items and you choose what you want while they circulate. This place is different. You order from the menu and they bring it out.. The service was nice I sat at the bar alone. The place is very clean and welcoming. This is in a casino so a bit over priced for what you receive.. very overpriced if I'm being honest. There are other options in the city a fraction of the cost with more variety and quality. I tried them due to convenience, I enjoyed what I had. I will not be back due to value.

The restaurant was bright and spacious. We made reservation for five when we got there. We were quite hungry, so I practically order pretty much everything. They don't do the Hong Kong dim sum style, which has a little lady pushing a card full of steaming foods. The food was OK. steam rice roll with shrimp 3/10. The streamed rice papers were too thick so you taste a lot of rice flour rather than the original delicate sheet of rice paper covering the shrimp. Barbecue stirfry noodle 5/10. Thenoodle tasted OK, it's lacking the wok charred tasted that is smoky and a little crunchy. The other regular noodle dish is the same. 5/10. Chinese broccoli were good 6/10 We also ordered steam Seabass, and I think that was the star of the dining experience. So by this time I'm getting full, so my husband and my kids are eating it and they like it. 8/10 They barbecue buns were different but good 7/10 Ha cao were ok 5/10. They suck to the steamer basket and fell apart as we tried to pick them up. The overall experience was nice, but the food is rather disappointing. I don't know if they are aiming toward to pleasing the general taste bud rather than traditional Asian, but this is the second time that we tried Tim Ho Van and left disappointed.

First review of 2026! Exactly what I needed Sunday morning after a late night and before heading to the airport. In the Palms the ambiance is very upscale. There was no wait at 11:30am for 2 people. No carts but you order on a paper. The stands out were scallop and truffle siu mai and the shrimp noodle. There was shrimp in every bite versus a few shrimps and mostly noodle. So good.

FOOD: What a bang for your buck type of deal! Very similar to DTF but with a very affordable price. The portions are just right for dim sum and sharing. We stayed at Palms for 3 nights and ate here twice during our stay. We got siu mai, pan fried noodles plan and with bbq pork, bbq pork rice roll, fried rice, the sticky rice in lotus leaf, braised brisket noodles, bbq pork buns, chicken feet and the sesame ball with custard lmao. We ordered a good chunk between those two days for 3 people. We did take our leftovers to go for brunch the next day lol. Clearly we ate with our eyes. Everything was delicious; chicken feet were so tender and fall off the bone. The fried rice was seasoned well and the sticky rice was just right. The braised brisket noodles was not that great, it was pretty bland so definitely used up the chili oil/sambal mix to add some extra flavor. The siu mai was addicting and had that perfect bounce on the meat from the fat. We also had the xiao long bao and it was okay. But high on my list for food are the bbq pork buns, siu mai, pan fried noodles and chicken feet. SERVICE: Very welcoming and friendly staff. They are attentive and quick to deliver the food and pick up empty plates. No other words but definitely have great work ethics and attitudes from the hosts, servers and bussers. AMBIANCE: Very well lit dining area. Spacious booths and seatingS. I love the high ceilings. Very fancy looking but not intimidating. Casual attire is acceptable. Clean environment and does not have the kitchen smell lingering around the dining area. Well ventilated. Can get loud depending on time of visit. Perfect for big or small groups. Theres also a bar area for solos or couples. Highly recommend to do reservations! I would absolutely come back and eat here again at my next visit to Vegas. Great food that won't drain the wallet. Side note: I recommend to dine in rather than take out because the portion is much bigger at dine in :)

This place is solid for dim sum. At this location we order from a menu and then the items are brought to us. Inside is pretty spacious for a casino restaurant and very clean. It didn't feel very overwhelming despite all the people. They were organized and friendly. The food itself is very tasty! It is overpriced with items around $7-9 for the smaller dishes and about $18 or more for basic entrees. The increased prices may also be due to being inside a casino. After seeing reviews from the Tim Ho Wan in HK, I was excited to try the bbq pork bun, which was my favorite! The crust on top of the bun was unique, since I typically see that on lava custard buns. But the crust really went well with the savory bbq! And the bun itself was very soft. Overall, it is good, but there are other places in Vegas with similar quality and cheaper prices. Also, I prefer the classic cart dimsum experience, so having a menu to order from wasn't my favorite.

Delicious dim sum. Food is fresh and served in perfect temperatures. A good variety of dim sum selections with noodles and rice dishes. Good service, seated per reservation. Adequate parking inside Palms casino.

It's hard to find dimsum outside of Chinatown, but this place is legit! All the dishes we ordered were delicious. Only qualm was the sea bass (which ended up having a MP of $68). It was sadly overcooked/over steamed. Everything had great flavors, seasoned well, and tasted light and fresh! The service was spectacular - host was friendly, all servers were attentive. Very clean restaurant, atmosphere was inviting. Definitely recommend

The pork is covered with thick batter. It is neither crispy nor flavorful. We also had the honey walnut shrimp. The shrimps were big but there's too much mayo on it. It's my first time here so I don't know whether it's a fluke or it's just a different chef, or the regular chef has an 'off' day. The place is really nice though with pretty tablecloths and nice chair covers. Service is good. But overall -- for a Chinese restaurant- it all boils down to the taste of the food. Maybe I'll give it another try in the future. We'll see.

We had to wait for a table to be cleared so we stood in the tight lobby area for about 8-10 minutes but the food was very worth it here. Beware though because the ladies serving the dim sum kind of have a rush attitude to make you order more than you would want to or to try something out. We recommend covering the sheet of paper where they mark that you chose a plate lol. Nontheless, utilize and study the menu well beforehand so when the ladies and the carts come by, you know what to say yes or no to or what to request. A la carte we got the noodles & the peking duck. It was the most tender and juicy duck I've ever tasted. The dim sum we ordered were: Steamed BBQ Pork Bun, Chiu Chow Dumplings (not a fav, but still yummy), Masaki Pork Siu Mai (had multiple of this), the plain rice crepe, Short Rib with black bean sauce (very delicious), Chinese broccoli (they were pretty huge stalks), Baked Buns w/ BBQ pork, & Pork Paste in Tofu Wrap with Oyster Sauce. A great spot for a big group to share and feast over yummy dim sum. Bathrooms were clean. Ambiance is pretty chaotic with all the families present and the small parking lot was also very crowded but we were lucky to find a spot on a Sunday morning. Finding the Real Deal: Dim Sumlicious is the Authentic Yum Cha Las Vegas Has Been Missing…read moreLas Vegas has no shortage of Chinese restaurants, but anyone who's grown up going to yum cha knows the difference between dim sum done right and dim sum done for tourists. I've been on a quiet, slightly obsessive hunt across this city for the genuine article -- the kind of Sunday morning experience that transports you straight to a bustling Hong Kong tea house. And friends, I found it. It's called Dim Sumlicious, and the name does not lie. The moment the first bamboo basket hit our table, I knew this was different. Dim Sumlicious has a chef with over 30 years of experience honing his craft in Hong Kong, and it shows in every single bite. This isn't the frozen-and-steamed shortcut situation you'll find at so many spots around town. These are handmade, skillfully executed classics that carry the weight of real tradition behind them. The har gow wrappers had that perfect translucent delicacy -- thin enough to see through, sturdy enough to hold. The siu mai were plump and properly seasoned. The char siu bao, both baked and steamed, hit every note I was hoping for. Cart after cart brought something worth ordering, and nothing disappointed. But beyond the food, what struck me about Dim Sumlicious was the atmosphere of care. The service was warm, attentive, and genuinely hospitable -- a rarity in a city where restaurants can feel like they're processing customers on a conveyor belt. If you're a dim sum devotee who's been settling for "pretty good," your search is over. Dim Sumlicious is the real deal -- no asterisks, no caveats. Make a reservation, bring the whole family, and go hungry. Las Vegas finally has its yum cha moment. Don't sleep on it.
