I am staying at the Gold Coast Hotel and Casino and my parents and I decided to go to Ping Pang Pong for dinner. My dad has been before and told us it was really good so of course we had to try! The inside is big with a huge open kitchen where you can see the chefs cooking up a storm! They are moving so fast and seem like they have a good system going. You can also order to go if you wanted. My parents and I got three dinners. Shrimp fried rice, snow cabbage and duck julienne with vermicelli and glass noodles and my dad got the seafood stir fried soft noodles. Everything was perfectly cooked and incredibly delicious! I would definitely eat here again and keep trying different dishes!

Everyone loves Ping Pang Pong on Reddit and after my recent visit, I do too. We came in on a Monday around noon. Table for 21. Yikes. Thankfully our party was seated right away - the space is quite big actually. They still use dim sum carts which was such a welcomed surprise. And there were plenty of dim sum cart offerings for a Monday. They had an astounding amount of variety despite it being a Monday. The food was hot and piping hot and perfectly flavored. It looked and acted like dim sum which is all the business I want here. Dare I say the dim sum at Ping Pang Pong is top tier? Absolutely. Honestly, this is the best dim sum experience I've had in a Vegas. A good, solid dim experienced with exceptional service.

If you're in Vegas and NOT eating here... you're missing out. This spot is lowkey one of the best Chinese restaurants in the city, like REAL authentic dim sum. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and hits every craving. And the best part? They're open till 3AM... so after a long night in Vegas, THIS is the move. https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZP8g6Nawq/

Had a late night meal here and was highly disappointed. I don't know if it's because I have been spoiled by NY and LA Chinese food but I can say that the expectations were low and were met. The hot and sour soup was nasty beyond belief. Visible thickeners (was it potato starch or guar gum) I don't know but please stop using that in this. Weirdly Sweet and with a very weird taste, we could not finish this. Wonton noodle soup was fine but the msg is strong. Of the two dishes this one was edible but not satisfying. Service was fine. Food was not.

After a showing of Shen Yun, we were in the mood for some Chinese food. It was after 10:30pm already so the first place that came to mind was PPP a generally reliable late night option for authentic Chinese food. We started out with steamed bbq pork buns and black bean spare ribs and they were fresh and on point. We just had to reflect and appreciate how lucky we were to live in a city where you can not only get great Chinese food late night, but you can get fresh dim sum as well! Do you understand how rare this is, and how much of a treat that is? I don't know of another city in the US where that exists. Well after that we got crispy pan fried noodles with beef and Kung Pao chicken. The noodles were addicting with the sauce. The beef was acceptable, with the typical baking soda tenderized texture, which I don't normally care for, but the way they did it worked for me. I love kung pao chicken but don't order it often because people don't get the sauce right or it's full of fillers like celery, bellpepper, soft peanuts, etc. but here at PPP the dish is almost entirely pieces of juicy chicken and roasted peanuts, and a little kick from the chilis. So for $59 before tip, we were well satisfied and had plenty to take home. On this night, Ping Pang Pong gets an upgrade to 5 stars for a combination of solid Chinese food, the availability of dim sum, late night accommodations, friendly service and upscale Chinese decor, (easy parking).

This is my go too place for Chinese food, the ambiance here is awesome. The servers are super fast and efficient. The menu here is huge so many amazing choices, they have dim sum during the day and some left over at night. The food is super tasty and well cooked. I have so many favorites here, the salt and pepper pork chops, the beef broccoli, chow fun noodles, duck and egg white fried rice, orange chicken and the chow main noodles are just some of the choices here. Trust me and come here to eat they are open till 3:00am. The dim sum menu is also very good it's too many to list. I come here after work to chow down on some authentic Chinese food. Give this place a try and happy eating...

Hands down the best dim sum in Las Vegas. Ping Pang Pong inside Gold Coast Casino still does it the old-school way -- carts rolling past your table from 10 AM to 3 PM, around 90 fresh options to point at. The shumai, BBQ pork bao, almond shrimp balls, and coconut sweet buns are all on point. Chicken feet for the brave. Service moves fast and the food comes out hot. Get there before 11 AM or expect a wait. Worth every minute of the drive off the Strip.

The Chinatown area is known to have some of the best dim sum in the entire Vegas Valley. But little did I know that one of the best places would be located inside the Gold Coast casino just off of Flamingo across from the Palms. Ping Pang Pong is a moderate sized restaurant located in the center of the casino. And with so many locals recommending this spot for their dim sum fix, I had to check it out when I came back into town. To eat here, there are two garages around the property that you can park at for free. And personally, I would suggest parking in the east parking garage as there are more levels, a dedicated walkway into the casino, and less lurkers peering into cars. Walking into the casino, the signage was pretty clear and I found the restaurant pretty close to the hotel's main sportsbook. Walking up to the restaurant around 11AM, there was a decent sized line waiting to eat in the restaurant with a full dining room full of Asian families. And after sitting down, the dim sum carts immediately began stopping by with a variety of your traditional dim sum favorites. This service was pretty consistent throughout and staff came by to offer more food, refill tea, and take questions. Compared to many other restaurants in the area, the price at Ping Pang Pong has remained competitive throughout the years. With a small item price at $4.28, medium at $5.88, large at $6.88, extra large at $7.88, and the largest at $8.88, the price per portion was pretty fair all things considered. There are only a few catches that you should watch out for. First, there are only 1 or 2 items priced at $4.28 so assume that most items begin at 6 dollars. Second, some of the items you'd expect at certain price tiers might differ. An example includes the Shrimp Rice Rolls which were priced as $8.88 when they often come up as a large. The Beef Offal with Radish had an individual price of $14 which falls outside of the typical pricing system. These being said, be sure to read the menu before accepting any dishes that might come by. But as for the items, most of the items were very good and tasted authentic to their roots. I found the Beef Rice Rolls, Pork Spareribs, Beef Tripe, and Beef Balls to be my favorites here. The beef items had a deep sweet flavor and grounded beefy taste. The texture of these items were spongy, but weren't soft to say the least. The spareribs were soft and also rich with a black bean sauce flavor. And eating the beef tripe, there was a nice chew to them that was very enjoyable. Other items like the Siu Mai, Shrimp Rice Rolls, and Bean Curd Rolls were tasty and delicious as well. But if you're looking for Ping Pang Pong's specialties, definitely shoot for the meat items first. For this casino in the surrounding Vegas area, the food exceeded expectations! With a great price at each tier to the delicious food offerings, it made for a great time here at Gold Coast. And with a very clean dining space and constant service, I would definitely come back again. If you're having doubts about the place or the casino itself, just drop by and check out the lines of people lining up to eat here. There is a reason the locals call this one of the best places in the area.

Non-Dim Sum Review. Food: other than great dim sum; good menu with various shared dishes of authentic Chinese flavors Service: fast paced service Ambience: busy busy busy Asian Persuasion decor Minor note: The shrimp on photo was a little salty

The food was pretty good. But I don't think the service was consistent. I ordered a Thai iced tea with soy milk and I am pretty sure they used regular milk. I specifically told them that I was lactose intolerant. We ordered a lot of food. I would say the beef noodles were my favorite. The restaurant is located in Gold Coast Casino

West Lake Beef Soup

I've been going to Ping Pang Pong for years and it's still one of my go-to places for authentic Chinese cuisine. They have one in particular which is my favorite - West Lake Beef Soup. While most have Egg Drop Soup, the beef soup is harder to find. The soup has a pretty clear broth with minced beef, strewn egg white, and fresh cilantro. I like to add a little shake of their white pepper on it for elevated taste. The bowl is large - so it's a shareable for 2+ people for sure. The soup comes out temperature hot as well. They also have a really good straight up wrinkled string beans dish, but you can also ask for a string beans plus protein dish as well. We chose chicken on this particular night. The string beans have a nice crisp and the chicken was thinly sliced and it had really good flavor in the garlic sauce. Kung Pao Chicken - it's full of chicken! They don't mess around with loading you up with peppers and onions, you'll get a plate full of chicken, peanuts and chilis. So, the value of getting actual chicken is good! There are some things to be mindful of when you do dine at Ping Pang Pong. While all the servers are friendly, just note that the cadence of how often someone might come around at times can be a lot or few and far between. When you first sit down, they are usually at your table quickly to get your drink order and food order. Once dropped off, if you need anything else, just put yourself out there and flag someone down. They will definitely be there if they see you flag them.

Veggie Chow Mein

Best veggie chow mein I ever had!! I always get this when in Vegas! It was my first time dining in, I usually get it to go. Staff was friendly and also looked out for me as a vegan / vegetarian. They informed that the vegetable spring rolls were fried in the same oil as meat items. Thank you to the staff!! Pro tip - if you ever want to get a to go order, call in way ahead before you want to pick up your food! The wait can be 20 mins - 1 hour depending on the day and time.

Still our go-to spot for dim sum in Las Vegas. This place still uses carts and the food is very good. We arrived right after opening on a Friday morning and the place got pretty busy in about 30 minutes. Right after we say down, we got surrounded by carts and within a few minutes, out table had a bunch of dishes. Since there were only two of us, we could only order a handful of things. This is clearly an Asian customer focused place, with only 1 or 2 non-Asians seated by the time we left.

It's my first time here so I don't know whether it's a fluke or it's just a different chef, or the regular chef has an 'off' day. If the table is not ready yet, they will hand you the physical ticket number. I think it was maybe 5 minutes tops before we got seated, so while my group arrived and I parked, it was about time we got the table. There were maybe 100 people waiting outside, so do not be put off by it, as the restaurant is pretty huge, with a front room and back room. We got various dim sum, of course including har gow and siu mai. The dim sum quality here is pretty good, and I loved that they still do the push cart dim sum as most places abstracted that out in favor of standard paper menu ordering. It feels more traditional and you get to see the dim sum before committing to it. We got a bunch of dishes to share, and even ventured out of the ordinary including intestines and bell pepper shrimp paste, and even those are solid. It takes a while to flag down a server and requires multiple follow-ups to get what we need. We flagged down 5 separate times before finally getting iced water, which is unacceptable since while Chinese restaurants like these have poor service in inattentiveness, at least you get service quickly if you flag down someone. The only way we were able to get service is for me to talk to them in Cantonese, so when it is busy and you try to ask for something in English, forget it.

Finding the Real Deal: Dim Sumlicious is the Authentic Yum Cha Las Vegas Has Been Missing…read moreLas Vegas has no shortage of Chinese restaurants, but anyone who's grown up going to yum cha knows the difference between dim sum done right and dim sum done for tourists. I've been on a quiet, slightly obsessive hunt across this city for the genuine article -- the kind of Sunday morning experience that transports you straight to a bustling Hong Kong tea house. And friends, I found it. It's called Dim Sumlicious, and the name does not lie. The moment the first bamboo basket hit our table, I knew this was different. Dim Sumlicious has a chef with over 30 years of experience honing his craft in Hong Kong, and it shows in every single bite. This isn't the frozen-and-steamed shortcut situation you'll find at so many spots around town. These are handmade, skillfully executed classics that carry the weight of real tradition behind them. The har gow wrappers had that perfect translucent delicacy -- thin enough to see through, sturdy enough to hold. The siu mai were plump and properly seasoned. The char siu bao, both baked and steamed, hit every note I was hoping for. Cart after cart brought something worth ordering, and nothing disappointed. But beyond the food, what struck me about Dim Sumlicious was the atmosphere of care. The service was warm, attentive, and genuinely hospitable -- a rarity in a city where restaurants can feel like they're processing customers on a conveyor belt. If you're a dim sum devotee who's been settling for "pretty good," your search is over. Dim Sumlicious is the real deal -- no asterisks, no caveats. Make a reservation, bring the whole family, and go hungry. Las Vegas finally has its yum cha moment. Don't sleep on it.
