We honestly stopped going here due to the amount of meat that is being served. It has gradually got less and less with the servings. Panda is not the cheapest food and they use to serve decent amounts but it's definitely not the same. Save yourself! Do NOT ATTEMPT TO GET FOOD AT THIS LOCATION. My family and I ordered food for the whole group. Three of us had beef and broccoli bowls. When we got home, two of the bowls had burned and dry broccoli that had a putrid chemical smell. Despite this, we tried it and found that it tasted as bad as it smelled. We took two back and that began another litany of issues. The manager, Rand (I believe), addressed us. We explained what the issue was and she grabbed the two bowls in question. She looked inside and said she couldn't do anything because we ate some of the food.... we literally had 2-3 small bites made in fear. She then offered a coupon she had in her car... so weird. She offered to remake the food and we refused. We are not confident about eating anything from this store. I was so stunned by her behavior and attitude that I didn't say a word at first. Then I said Yelp would love to hear about this... she then gave us our money back and suggested we ask for fresh food next time... (Yes-she honestly suggested that we go in and request that they make us fresh food rather than what they usually serve?) She then said to come inside so we could check out the food and ask for it to be fresh. Then she said she was sorry about the situation. She was very polite when we were leaving.... Super shitty service. I've been to a lot of Panda Expresses but this is by the very worst I've ever encountered. Rude to customers by having condescending and impatient attitudes. Thought I'd give this location another try. Never again! I got my husband a chicken and mushroom bowl with white rice. I go to three panda expresses regularly, one by my work, one by my friends, house and one by my home, which this one is the one by my home. The food quality is exceptional at this location but what really pisses me off is how stingy they are with the sweet-and-sour sauce. I like to pour my sour sauce over my fried rice or my chow mein noodles and it's like pulling teeth to get these women to give me more than three packets, please tell your employees to not be stingy with the sauce. It really makes your brakes an experience you guys have great quality of food. Your cleanliness is above the other locations. Your staff seems way more professional, sometimes unfriendly though when they won't give me enough sweet-and-sour sauce, especially please explain to them how that is not worth the stinginess, I've offered to pay they say there's no way to pay for it and then give me two more packets. I need like 10 packets to get through my day when someone's requesting extra sauce five packets is not extra boycotting this panda express till they get it right. It's Panda Express, fast food Chinese food but pretty tasty if you are looking for an alternative to fast food in general. We are a captive audience in Vail on the Southeast side and this place is always very busy during meal times. We like it because the staff are always really on it, and move you through the line quickly, the food has always been solid and fresh and the place is clean. read more

I have been here several times and have not had any issues that others have had on other reviews thankfully. It has always been clean and fast service. I like their fried rice, steak entree,orange chicken, sweet n sour chicken, and their chow mein (which is great in the bowl option). I think pricing is normal. I do wish they had more than 3 cream puffs in the side option as it is a little pricy for that. The child size dinner is a good size for my toddler and comes with a drink and chocolate chip cookie. I like this location and will try the new one in Green Valley/Sahuarita some time as well to compare locations. read more

If I could give this location zero stars I would. We live 25 minutes from the nearest fast food location and we stopped here an hour before close to pick up food on our way home. We waited 15 minutes in drive thru as they told the car in front of us that they were closing soon and were no longer offering many of their regular options. When it was our turn we ordered 2 plates of what they had available and left. When we got home we found HAIR in both of our plates!!!! It was disgusting and we had to throw them both away! We accepted they had limited availability, but they had an hour before close. If we showed up 10 minutes before that would make sense, NOT an hour. But the hair is what really grossed us out!! I get my food and ask for some utensils, NO FORKS, NO SPOONS, they give me chopsticks. This place needs a lot of work. The food is either completely old or it is out of stock and they have to cook it immediately. I'm guessing they are not getting a lot of orders on the steak and they had to cook that whenever I ordered it. It cost several dollars more and I had to wait an extra seven minutes to get it. Then, there is clearly items that look like they have been there for hours. I didn't choose those items but they should be rotating these items even if they do not have customers. However, the food isn't the reason they are getting two stars because I have eaten Panda Express across the country and I'm relatively happy with their food. It is their staff they are rude and need to be far more polite. The woman was completely aggravated with me that I I asked to order the steak that was out and she said sorry we're out and I said are you guys making more and she said I we can but it will be 7 minutes. I said that's fine and I ordered a three dish combo and she made the two dishes and then put a sticker on it and was going to hold it all behind the counter until that steak was done and I told her I will go ahead and take the two items in the lo mein and if she could bring me out the other item. She acted completely pissy. Then at the drink bar, they were completely out of items needed there straws sweetener for the tea and lids. So, this is a people issue they need to work on the people aspect of their business. There are people who need to be far more polite and they need to also do their job. read more

My wife wanted to go here for dinner last week. It seems nothing has changed. The food is oily it's very chewy/soggy. It is also expensive for what you get. This place continues to go downhill as the immaturity of the staff shows in the service. They are more involved in their conversation behind the counter than helping the customer by showing adult common courtesy and again I'll have to be adamant that we never visit this establishment again. Staff is rude as all get out, the order is never correct, always missing items and attitude is given when you go back in to retrieve the items. the employees are busy on their phones and holding their own conversations and treat you as an inconvenience to get the items that they screwed up and never placed in the bag. So usually I don't like to add reviews for chain restaurants but hey I'm gonna give it a try. If this place was a stand alone restaurant I would give them almost 4 1/2 stars for service. Every time I've come here before busy lunch hours the staff has been so friendly and nice. I even got some good luck going through the drive-through and had no issues whatsoever. Going into the restaurant, this location is a bit small and can get crowded during busy lunch hours. There are a few hightop tables for those one or two people grabbing a quick lunch and some larger tables for people who want to stay a little longer. The buffet style Chinese food is usually what you expect from a panda express. The quality of the food is directly based on the guy warming it and frying it up in the back. Overall this is a great place to pick up a quick lunch on your way home from Walmart out in Vail. And if you support one of the local high school football teams, panda express is always listed on their discount card. Faves: Orange chicken and cream cheese Rangoon's. read more
