Ok so when this location first opened I gave great reviews NOT sure what has happened but just went thru drive thru and server was awful and food is for a giant. So the girl taking my money dropped my change on the ground and than waited for me to produce more money instead of her putting in the 10 cents. Get my food and they do not give a plastic knife but chicken and veggies are so big I had to take bites off the fork at a time due to not being able to cut it. I was on work lunch so this was very inconvenient. And veggies I get instead of rice was mainly all broccoli not mixed as it use to be. Would no longer recommend. read more

My husband and I order from here frequently. Yesterday we were very disappointed. Most all of our food was undercooked. The vegetables with my husbands order were barely warm, much less actually cooked. The chow mein with my order was undercooked so much it was almost crunchy. And the onions were just plain raw. This is the first time it has been like this. Don't know why the quality sank so low this time. I hope they are back on track next time I order. They only get one more chance. read more

I completely understand why this place only has 2 1/2 stars. As my teenage daughter just informed me, the food is "good" but their service is complete trash. While we are standing here waiting for our online order of food, we are noticing a large amount of grossness, including floors being completely sticky and the kitchen having a pile of rice on the floor beneath the rice cooker. This location is always busy. For the amount of customers they have, it is super fast. The people in front of us ordered 5 meals. Friendly staff. Lately this location has been a bit hit or miss. Either they have had old food or food is empty and you have to wait a while for entrees to be made. I'm chalking it up to bad timing on my part and at the same time hoping management takes notice or they will lose business. This location is always clean, cooks just need to step it up with making sure the entrees are ready for their patrons. I usually get the same thing when I come in. Half chowmein half steamed veggies, string bean and mushroom chicken and the honey walnut shrimp. Their passion tea is to die for! Just be aware that it is unsweetened. This has happened enough here that I'm actually writing a review just about their customer service. I know panda express is just a fast food chain and all but come on man. This is easily the 3rd or 4 the time this has happened but I pulled into the drive through at 9:10 in the evening and waited 20 minutes to move 6-7 car lengths before finally reaching the ordering screen. I was informed that they only had fried rice, chow mein, and one egg roll. I understand they closed soon but half an hour!!!!! When you have 7+ cars in the drive through you serve them. Panda Express on the edge of town! I was cruising out Houghton way looking to get out of the city for a bit, but nearing the freeway I realized I was hungry and eager to have something in my stomach before going four wheel driving and what not, so I swung through the express window. This Panda served up my meal very fast and it was delicious, hearty and chock full of Orange Chicken and Bejing Beef. To mix it up I had vegetables and rice half & half. Never had a major issue with this place. I am a fan of Panda because of their portions and decent cost. I have the discount "Gold card" that you buy from the high school football players and get a free entree every time I order without any issues with the cashier or manager. Great when they opened but service has declined. Front guy Hugo is as dry and rude as I've seen in a while. He may be motivated but not suited for the front of the food line. Kid's meal cookie was open. Tables were dirty and the place only had 2 other tables full. I hope they improve the cleanliness and customer service soon. read more

My first and last visit to a PE. LOUD music for the very young crowd. The only young people in the store were the employees, so the music selection was for them and it was loud enough to impair conversation. The food was not pretty looking and appeared to have been out for a while. I got an egg roll and it was barely edible. The orange sauce they serve with it was horrid. My friend ate only about 1/4th of her meal, not sure what she got, but she was not impressed. The employees were yelling loudly to each other and sitting and eating and talking loudly. One of the noisiest places I've ever eaten at. Not customer friendly at all. I don't think that I'll ever waste my money at a Panda Express again. read more

Incredibly Rude Employees While eating lunch with my family, a bus load of students from the Safford High School Track Team arrived. The restaurant was standing room only. While several of the students stood in the walkways to eat, there was a single Panda Express employee, in uniform, occupying one of the largest tables, playing on her phone. The manger thought that it was acceptable for one of his employees to play on her phone while multiple customers had stand up to eat because there was no where for them to sit. read more

THIS PLACE IS TERRIBLE. The customer service at this establishment could be compared to the scene from a clockwork orange, you know the one I'm talking about. Disturbing and difficult to watch. The amount of effort it took me to not flip over all of the chairs in this place cannot be measured by any known equation. We walked into the building with over an hour before they closed for the night and the staff that was on duty this evening acted as if it was the biggest inconvenience they had ever encountered, that a customer would actually want to order food from a place that has posted hours everyday, if they don't want people to come in past a certain time they should just close earlier. We ordered our food "to-go" and found out when we got home that the Food was burnt which just added to my amazement of this horrid restaurant experience. Terrible place to go to, if you want Shitty food and sub-par service, just go across the street to Taco Bell. At least there they have Mountain Dew Baja Blast, which can put a smile on any persons face. The food is hot. It is served in healthy portions in ration to cost. They also have a tendency to run out as they are super busy. I eat here and find that what I order is good, but that I had to alter my order from my initial crave. This is slightly disappointing. The best Chinese in Tucson (unfortunately). It's usually busy, so we haven't had to worry about getting stale food. They did get our order wrong once, but after calling them up they said we can just bring in our receipt whenever and get a new tray. Service is usually quick and nice and it's the usual Panda food (which for the most part is good). If you ever have a problem, just speak with them. It's nice to have a quick Chinese place in the vail area, but this place has terrible service, never seem to have food ready and get more orders wrong than right. Would really love for this to be the quick, convenient, decent food you would expect. I am so tired of not getting my teriyaki sauce in the drivethru when I order teriyaki chicken. After getting all the way home without it TWICE in the past, I started telling them to make sure they don't forget it. Guess what? They still forget it. I have to wait for someone to run and get the container of teriyaki. This has happened several times, but last night was the worst. Before driving off, i asked the lady if the teriyaki sauce was in the bag. She said yes. So, i looked in the bag and couldn't find it. She said, "it's in there." I kept looking and started pulling our orders out of the bag to find it. They were busy but i told them I wasn't leaving until I had found the teriyaki. One of the lids wasn't on all the way, and liquid poured out on me and my car. I was extremely frustrated at that point, and after she told me AGAIN that the teriyaki was in the bag, I snapped back that it wasn't and to go get me some. (Btw, i emptied 4 orders out of the bag, and there was no teriyaki.) I won't be going back to this Panda even though it's closer to my house. Seriously, how hard is it to get an order right, and listen to your customers when they tell you something is not in the bag? All she had to do was go get the container of sauce instead of trying to hurry me through the drivethru. read more

I'd give negative stars if the food wasn't half bad. I've gone to this location a few time (4) over the past 3 years and each time they've messed up my order. I caught it this time. I ordered 1 plate with two entree's ,white rice and a med drink. I was charged 2 plates with orange chicken, 2 fried rice 2 sirloin. I told the drive thru person and after 15 min of waiting I was told multiple thing by two employees, one said she would refund my total bill, the other said they would adjust my bill, then kept trying to push the extra mistake food on me. I get my new receipt, it's still wrong , close but wrong, I thing get the food and it's 2 big boxes of orange chicken, fried rice ( can't eat) , not close to either order. The lack of integrity, and basic work ethic is lacking severely . The drive thru looks like a day care , at least in the evening, but it's hard to tell with a line of cars backed up. If they had a manager I would have spoken to them. The saving grace , the personnel were not rude. Luckily it doesn't cost a lot to get screwed . read more

Rand went above and beyond being kind understand and helpful. When I asked for fresh batch of a dish to be made she was courteous, let me know how long it would be and then brought it out to me when it was ready. I have been to other Panda Express's and when I have asked for the same it was made out like I was asking way to much for them to do. She is a 5-star employee.
