I really enjoy this place. The pizzas are excellent, the salads are fresh, and the burgers are some of the best in town. Like many restaurants these days, they ask for a tip even on pickup and to go orders. Personally, I prefer tipping for seated service, but that's become pretty common. The reason I mention it is that almost every pickup order I've had has had something missing, incorrect, or prepared differently than ordered. The food itself is consistently great, but the accuracy of the orders has been consistently disappointing. Unfortunately, you usually don't discover the mistake until you get home. He never smiles, always seems to be inconvenienced, and probably hates his job. If that's the case... do your customers a favor and move on. This was a vast improvement since the previous visit. The place was clean and the staff were friendly. My son and I shared the Jaws pizza (Chicken Bacon Ranch) which is a new offering. It was great. This place is one of my go to's when my parents come into town and want a burger. Conveniently located off Houghton on the east side, it's nice to have a good burger place nearby. They have plenty of indoor seating. I've had their burgers and they're great. I recently ordered their buffalo chicken sandwich and it was awesome. Service is always fast and friendly. Been a Serial Grill loyalist since they opened their first restaurant. They can do no wrong... pizza, burgers, sandwiches, salads... they know what they are doing! They've cut the menu down a lot from what it used to be... One of the best, by far was their version of a Hawaiian! Wasn't a fan of the prosciutto but loved it with Canadian bacon. Feta, pineapple and a sprinkle of brown sugar! I feel like the place has stayed consistent in being good. Occasionally branch off and will try something new and fall in love. I think their salads are great, fresh, full of their natural flavor paired well with fun dressings! Gluten free crust isn't the best, but still worth overall for the pizza flavor. It's a place where the whole picky family will find something they love, and great when everyone is in the mood for something different. Great local grill with brew. Has lots of great sandwiches (named after killer), and many taps of beer available. The Rita Ranch location has indoor and outdoor seating, in a large open area with concrete floors. Generally clean, with lots of room for groups. The other drinks include a soda/tea self serve fountain. Pick up a menu, order at the counter, grab your drinks and seat yourself with the table sign. Your food will be delivered to your table. When done, most people will go to the trash and dump the items off the tray and put tray plates and utensils in the appropriate area. Small sides come with every sandwich. Calzones are also good. One would think, with management/ownership's shrinking volume of restaurants, they would want to maintain their regular customers. Yet this location of Serial Grillers (which was only available several years ago due to the closing of a Chuy's location there) regularly closes down online ordering more than an hour and a half before the listed closing time, and has had their ordering website down at least two weekends in a row. Some of us like to have dinner in the evening, not just late afternoon, and it is much easier to customize an order online compared to over the phone. While I love most of the food, they should keep in mind that there are ever-increasing alternatives in the neighborhood to their restaurant, without such seemingly-arbitrary and difficult policies, and if this keeps up, I wouldn't be surprised if Serial Grillers shrinks down to only one location (or maybe back to the food truck). I love the cheeseburgers, I usually get the Leatherface V2. The fries and onion rings are tasty too. First time. Food was great! I ordered build your own calzone and hubbie had build your own cheese steak sandwich. Generously servings of beef in the sandwich and he had multiple toppings. I had been to the Serial Grillers on Speedway many years ago and remember it was a good experience. This location on Houghton is easier for me to visit, coming from Sierra Vista. I had my two dogs with me and opted to sit outside, despite the 102F outside. (It was cooler on the shaded patio). I ordered a La Cumbre witbier with an 8" personal mushroom pizza. Service was friendly and fast. I did find the pizza a bit salty, but I rationalize that I try to avoid sodium to keep my blood pressure within the normal range and pizza is high in sodium. I was impressed with the beer selections, but prices are high. My pint was $6.75 and the pizza $8.50.Beer prices are higher for higher alcohol beers. It's still a good deal for lunch as the ambiance is nice inside, with lots of space between tables. I will try a burger next time and visit when it's cooler. read more

This place wasn't bad. The concept of it is really awesome. I got the Halloween calzone and I added pepperoni. It was a huge amount of cheese and the pepperoni helps break that up. The taste was average. The dough was seasoned on the outside. Wasn't enough seasoning to make any sort of huge difference. The calzone itself took 20 minutes or so to be done. I think they make it to order so make sure you get that in a bit before your sandwiches otherwise you will be waiting. The marinara sauce that they give you has absolutely no flavor. My burger was dry as F, and it had no lettuce as advertised, a tomato so thin you could see through it, and though I asked for three pepper jack cheese I got cheddar! Our cheese bread was also over cooked! Look I understand COVID-19 has really done some damage to the restaurant business, but if you're open and I'm supporting you as a local business, then come correct with decent food, this experience was just dismal! So I went today for the first time to the serial grillers on Houghton Road Houghton Road actually pretty good I'm glad that I went I got the monster pizza I actually prefer the original on speedway everything has changed since COVID-19 hit, I was able to order online my pizza was done and very timely manner the topping seem to be very fresh but the meat was very scarce on like the one on speedway where the meat toppings used to be overflowing but that's OK and it was still very tasty so that's why the three stars when I come back absolutely but maybe next time for a sandwich and salad read more
