Believe Yelp's star rating and stay away! Although prices here are not inflated like you see everywhere, the food just isn't good. You won't walk away thinking it was really tasty and you'll return. We have but never again. Terrible service, mistaken orders, overcharged, inept management that made nothing right, and trashy patio they just walk by the messes and do nothing. Today (12/22/25) my wife and I chose to stop in for some lunch while running our errands. The staff here were friendly and attentive. The $10.00 lunch specials were a fantastic surprise! Its sooo nice to dine in somewhere that cost less than 90% of fast food chains. Wife ate the Habenero boneless wings with iced tea and onion rings. I had the pepper jack cheeseburger , fries and iced tea. Our server Ariana was great and kept up with our table very efficiently. Asked to speak to a manager and after 20 min, here comes Kaitlynn. She was rude, acted like I put her out for asking her to manage. The bartender was swamped at the time and so were other employees. Kaitlynn is an obvious lazy manager who refuses to assist employees when needed. Her interaction with me was extremely rude and off putting. Native is supposed to be a sports bar. It's hard to be a good sports bar when management has no clue to manage the TVs for the sports being played. I have gone a handful of times to this location only because my sister in law and her husband love the wings. Each time I go it gets worse. Today was the Cherry on top. We got there at 6:50 and we just walked out the door it 10:00 pm. However it took about 45 mins to get the food ordered, like another 20 to make sure she got it right, then another hr or so to start getting the food. When we started getting our orders we noticed extra items that we didn't order. Each time we told the server and they would say it's okay or walk away. When it came to paying I was charged double. I told the server she apologized and said she would speak to the manager. Manager (Kayla) then walks out and says that since the food was never returned she had to charge for it. I advised her we never ordered all the extra food and we did tell the staff and they did nothing. She then repeats what she said and since the food was never returned she has to charge. I asked if I was just supposed to go and return the food myself. The extra Pizza and fries were never touched and are in boxes. She then proceeded to take the food back and sent the waiter with the same receipt but took off 9.50 for a pizza. All in all the manager was horrible to deal with. She rolled her eyes at me, pulled the receipt from my hand all crazy, and laughed with her co workers about the whole ordeal. Like other locations they have a bar side with tables and booths, and a bar side with tall tables. They will greet and take you to the your choice of sides. If a wait then it is brief except on holidays and certain games. They have close handicap parking and a busy parking lot shared with other restaurants. Food has some specials specifically for certain days of week and game days. Also happy hour specials. The only consistency is some part, not always the same, service will be slow. Getting seated, waiting to order, waiting for food or drinks or for check. But they are nice and friendly. No issues with food or drink, primarily wings, burgers and salads and other American fare. Went in for dinner with my family and was pretty frustrated with the customer service. It took a while before we got our drinks. I then ordered an appetizer, and the server came back without any utensils or plates. I asked for forks and a good 20 minutes went by and we still did not have forks. I had to ask for forks a second time. By the time we got a fork our food was cold, and I requested a fresh appetizer. The server indicated clean utensils were not coming out fast enough. I had to ask for refills on our drinks as our server was not coming back to check on us. We spent a whole 2 hours at the restaurant due to how slow we were getting served. We came at 3 on a Saturday , not too bust so figured we would be in/out in an hour. Nope. We were seated after about five minutes of just standing there with another party that came in after us. Super sweet server, seemed engaged and busy so maybe she was working the bar area too. We ordered water/tea, some wings, onion rings and the slider trio. Took about 10 minutes for our drinks to arrive, and about 35-40 for our food which seemed really long. Onion rings were great, but the little burger sliders had a rock hard layer/side from being overcooked or cooked on a dirty grill. Our server was very accommodating and put in to just bring me 2 mor little chicken sliders, yet they never came after 25 minutes so we got up to leave. I hate leaving reviews but unfortunately i need to here. First off, it took around 15 mins to order drinks, mind you it's monday night and there's maybe 5 people in here and i've seen about 5 serves so i don't see why i would wait so long. secondly, we order our food and wait an hour to get it. It took me asking the server where our food was and the response i got was "oh yeah sorry" and then we got our food maybe 5 mins later. Unfortunately, all of our food felt like it had been waiting under the warmers for the past 45 minutes. I had to ask more than twice to get refills on drinks that had been empty for more than 10 mins ( the cups were on the end of the table for about 10 mins) I eventually asked for the manager which is not something i've ever done and he let me know the wait was due to them getting new french fry's and that's why it took so long. The only thing I liked was my Shirley temple. Our waitress didn't pay attention to us but that was mostly because she was way too busy. It's very rare I leave negative reviews but tonight's experience kinda just blew me away. I don't live in Tucson anymore, haven't for quite a few years. Some friends and I have came here every time I visit family and tonight I was pretty shocked at the experience. The only positive thing I can say was the hostess was nice to talk to and friendly. We were seated promptly, 3 people on a Wednesday evening I wasn't expecting it to be too bad. There was quite a few tables when we arrived but it emptied out quick. At first, our server was quite attentive, which just went downhill real quick. We did two appetizers and the BOGO 1/2 Wednesday deal all ordered at once for 3 different people. The first thing I noticed was all our drinks came out no straw, no biggie, I can sip water out of a cup. A few minutes later our appetizers came out and the first drink hit the table, also no straw. I don't think I've ever been served a margarita with no straw. That's when we asked for straws and got caught up in conversation. It wasn't till the second drinks came through about 20-30 minutes later that again had no straw we realized we never got the straws we asked for to begin with. I ended up having to flag down the hostess when she was cleaning the table behind us to get straws. Between that and our server disappearing for so long I was pretty disappointed in the service but the worst part honestly was the wings. Didn't bother to complain because I'm not going to be coming here again to get something different at another time. I just don't get how you can mess up wings that bad. It was like over cooked nuggets that someone tossed on top of a tiny bit of sauce on parchment paper and I'm not one to ask for extra sauce on wings or anything. The amount given is usually adequate. The honey hot you could barely taste the sauce, to the point one of the guys asked for a whole cup just to dip it in. My general tso was the only one out of 4 flavors that actually had a decent coating/flavor. The garlic ones had no flavor other than overcooked breading and the mango habanero only had sauce on the side sitting in the small amount on the paper. To top it off, their daily special menu lists their spiked lemonade at $6.75 and they charged $8.50 for the guy that got it. When I got inside I placed my order for 30 wings as they were having a special on Tuesdays. I wait 20minutes and ask for an update the gentleman who took my order never even put it in. But was on top of taking my money... overall I've been here when the food is good but the SERVICE IS TERRIBLE. Arrived at 2:39pm and didn't get our food until 3:50pm and one of our friends who just gave birth and was still feeding was served raw chicken ugh! Flavorless cheeseburgers and wings, and the curly fries tasted just like Arby's fries. Was immediately told when we walked in that, while we could be seated right away, the waiter would not provide good service due to staffing issues. We should have walked away then. We sat at the bar to reduce our impact. Waitress was all over the place, hard to pin down, and generally sloppy. Food took far longer than it should for some chicken and fries - 45 minutes. Order was incorrect but we weren't about to wait longer for it to be sent back. The waitress was only half listening when she took our order and didn't write anything down. Food was less than mediocre. Mixed drinks are all ice. Tables are filthy and not wiped between guests. They are very clearly understaffed in every area - serving to kitchen staff. I've only been twice and the second time reminded me why it had been so long since the first time. I met my sisters and our friend for dinner for a total party of 4 not including our friend's 9-month-old baby who was with her. The size of our party is pertinent later in the story. Our server only checked on us once aside from taking our order and it was right as we were finishing up to ask my sister and our friend if they wanted more fish (they got the neverending fish baskets). They said yes and we didn't see her again. We realized that it was getting late and we had somewhere we needed to be, so we flagged down the manager to follow up on the fish asking to take it to go and to get our check. The manager gave us the check and then we didn't see her again. We had to flag down another waiter sometime later (because he was the first employee we saw after getting our check) just to get someone to process our payment. He told us our server had to do it and he would get her. It took her some time but she eventually came over and we told her we had to go if she could just quickly take our payment. She told us "if I have time, I have 3 other tables and one is a large party". We weren't asking for refills or anything extra, we just wanted to pay and leave. She took our card and within a minute we saw her taking an order at another table which only had 5 people. We were a party of 4 and a baby, that other party was not a "large party" and she still had our card and hadn't processed the payment. When we finally got the receipt, it was $15 more than the check we got when we asked for it and the receipt wasn't itemized. By this point, we really had to go so we couldn't contest it. If they automatically added in the tip, they definitely didn't earn it and if they mixed it up with another table, I would caution anybody against ever going there. What an off experience. Empty restaurant and my friend wanted a quick lunch, as we just went to the Fair and wanted air conditioning and something familiar. Our party consisted of 5 adults, infant, and two toddlers. At first the host wanted to seat us at a high top. I said no, then they suggested a booth, for 4 or 6 adults squished. I declined asking for two tables. As we sat, water was brought promptly and then 50 minutes passed, with no follow up. Restless tired toddlers and hungry adults, that time seemed forever. We got there at 2:39 and left at 4:30, after ordering French fries, 3 burgers, wings, sliders and a salad. The salad when it came had raw chicken strips ( partially cooked). After waiting 70 minutes to order, with No refills offered, just seated and abandoned. By the time we ate our food, the place filled up and a party of six adults was put in that same booth( elbow to elbow) that was offered to us. Another group came in 10 minutes after us ,about the same size and they immediately sat them, took their order, and brought out their food before we even ordered, and they had a newborn and toddler like our party. When we asked for the bill, we weren't able to pay with anyone other than our server, who wasn't around. Someone else brought out the food& took away the raw chicken on the salad. My food and my husband's food ( burger n fries)was served hot, but was under seasoned. We grew so tired waiting on our food, we almost left before our food came out. I realize it's been hard to get workers in the food industry, but the food was not well prepared. My poor friend waited 90 minutes for a southern chicken salad. I'm sure it was just one of those days, but the two hosts after we arrived and sat us disappeared. so as new customers came in, they were looking around confused wondering what was going on. I just got the feeling that everybody that worked there was just hanging out in the back and only coming out when they absolutely had to. There was one server that was working the bar who was picking up the slack for the two young servers and the two young hosts. I don't think we will return. The wings (all of them were hard as a rock, my son in law got bbq wings instead of buffalo sauce and my daughter's dish was missing a piece of fish. The waitress should have recognized the order wasn't right. She was very nice but $65 for lunch (grandsons are 7 and 10), then I expect the good to be edible and the order to be correct.
