This was my first time coming here and the wings were delicious! Made exactly how I like them. Crispy on the outside and nice and juicy on the inside. I got the garlic parm and honey habanero bbq. Those were delicious as well. Kind of wish it came with a bigger side of dressing as 1 for 12 wings is not enough. The service was good, but the girl wasn't super friendly. She wasn't rude, just very monotone. I didn't eat in, I just ordered to go, but the place seems like a nice restaurant to hangout with friends and family for a couple hours. One thing I was annoyed about is that my bag was covered in grease all over! I would appreciate for next time if that happens, if my food can be placed in a new bag. Our girls group decided to meet here got the chicken and waffles. When we saw the flyer for it, it said it opened at 1030. We arrived and they changed the time to 11, so we had to wait outside for them to open. Bench seats were not comfy. The first one that I sat on the backside of it sunk because it was broken. This was my first time ordering from ATL wings and I ordered it for pickup. I got their 36 traditional wings which were 12- lemon pepper,12 garlic parm, 12 chefs special. The staff was very nice upon waking in. The place wasn't busy, maybe a few tables occupied and the place was very clean. When I got my son and I opened up the containers, and we started eating. I know the lemon pepper and garlic parm are dry rubs but if you closed your eyes and took a bite of each one.... You wouldn't be able to tell the difference by smell or taste... which to, should never happen. There hardly any difference between the 2... Hands down THE best wings we've ever had in Tucson! Tried ATL Wings last night and was greeted warmly by Samoa when we came in. The place was pretty empty but during our time there, multiple groups came in and Samoa handled them all beautifully. You're supposed to order at the bar but Samoa came to our table with her tablet and helped us. She even brought out magnetic cushions for the metal bar stools. Now for the important part, THE FOOD. We ordered bone in wings: lemon pepper, ATL rub and medium heat red sauced wings. So crispy, so delicious and really good, meaty wings. ATL Wings makes their own ranch and Bleu cheese sauces and they are so good. We also had fries, regular and ATL spiced. Both are excellent and wouldn't you know it.... they cut their own fries too! The style of fries resemble In-N-Out's fries but are 100 times better. We also tried the fried biscuits which are deep fried and then dusted with powdered sugar and drizzled in honey. A really nice way to finish off your meal. They've got a full bar and have 8 or 10 Kool-Aid adult beverages that look like a lot of fun however I was warned that the drinks are super sweet and I don't enjoy sweet drinks so Samoa made me an excellent mule. The place is roomier than I expected. A full dining room with plenty of seating, bar seating and an outdoor patio with multiple tables. Lots of TVs inside and on the patio too. I'm Kind of disappointed in the customer service, my family and I love this place however I tried three different times to place an order online for pick up. The system kept rejecting the payment by charging my card for my order then immediately refunding the amount into my account, three different times. There was no issue with funds. Like I said my card was charged then refunded 3 separate times.. It's clean, has an enclosed patio, a bar, Koolaid lol, lots of wing options, and I love that they also have a dessert, though I keep forgetting to try it! I hosted my birthday here in their new VIP room and had a great time! We had our own dedicated cashier that allowed for easy orders and questions for all that attended without the wait of other restaurant customers. She also let us try the sauces before ordering which I really appreciated. I found a new favorite in the chef special one...if you haven't tried it, definitely put it on your list. Prices seemed high, for something that you have to order at the counter. Beer, warm. Wings were dry and not very flavorful. Their version of "hot", could be eaten by any kindergartner. They were NOT "hot!". Everything seemed to be extra cost. The cup of dressing that you get, too small. Want another one? That's extra. And this is the first time I've ever ordered wings, that didn't come with celery. That's extra too! The staff was nice enough. But let's talk about their napkins. Aside from BBQ ribs, wings are about as messy as it gets. They had the smallest, thinnest, cheapest napkins I've ever seen. They're worse than the taco truck napkins. I suggested we go to Wingstop -- my friend insisted on ATL Wings. Thus begins my TERRIBLE experience with ATL wings. While dining on their patio, my daughter and her friend unintentionally caused an outdoor heating unit to topple over. I inspected it, noticed that a bolt appeared to be loose and the top was a bit dented. Looked over at the other unit, it had a similar dent and had probably been knocked over in the past as well. This units were mounted on wheels and was neither bolted down nor secured with sandbags--a glaring safety hazard in a public area frequented by families and children. I have been to many restaurants with similar units -- they are always secured with weighted sandbags at the very least. Rather than acknowledging this negligence, the manager immediately demanded a payment of $70 for repairs without conducting any assessment for actual damage. This abrupt and unprofessional response attempts to shift the burden of the establishment's own safety failings onto its patrons. ATL Wings has a duty of care to ensure that all equipment is safely installed and poses no risk to guests. The unsecured heating unit represents a breach of this duty and could have resulted in serious injury. I will be following up with this business to see if the repairs are actually made to this unit -- we will see if they want to be true to their word or if they will choose to engage in misrepresentation/fraud. The fries are my favorite in Tucson. The seasoning on the wings is also so unique you can't get it elsewhere. Those two things keep me coming back. But the service is so hit and miss. Mostly miss. The tables and fountain areas are clean so it is a pleasant eat in place. It has never been very busy but having the bar tender take orders at the bar and not bring the food to your table is just terrible service. ATL Wings has several options for wing flavors. I ordered six wings from the RED SAUCE menu - Medium- and when the wings arrived, they were naked style - without any sauce. Even though there is no sit down service and you order at the counter, I had tipped with my order. I politely approached the counter to ask for the sauce that my wings were supposed to come with. I got told that the wings I ordered were only a dry rub and do not come with sauce. I said no, they are from the RED SAUCE menu and asked very reasonably if they can just be "retossed" in sauce which isn't even "extra sauce" being as they are sauce less. They doubled down insisting that they already have sauce on them. And then demanded a dollar in order to have sauce added to them. It took alalmost e0 minutes for our order only to get our food made incorrectly. The French fries were soggy and greasy. The bone in wings were dry (over cooked) and lacking the ATL style flavor. Those wings were also missing the hot sauce. The staff were barely friendly, unless you are a regular here.mangment/owner jus stood in the corner kickn it with a select customer base. No beverage options for sugar free or diet drinks. The staffs lack of concern for the quality of the items served is very obvious. I called and placed my order and the person taking my order said will you pay when you get here or over there phone? I said when I get there. So I drove 12 miles give or take 20 min and I gave my name for order and the worker at register says it will be $$ so I hand him my card. He charges it and then says it will be like 20 minutes. So I said I ordered it like 20 minutes ago. He than points to a sign behind him that reads; Lucky said "if it ain't paid it ain't made." This information would have been nice on the phone instead of telling them in person! I immediately asked for my order to be canceled as I don't give my hard earned money to a place that has poor communication, and the customer gets the short end of the stick. The cashier canceled my order and said I'm sorry that's our policy. I said that's ok, but add to your policy that during a call in order you must communicate to people what Lucky says. The operating hours Friday through Saturday indicate that the restaurant closes at 10 PM and from Sunday through Thursday. They close at 9 PM. If this is the way ATL is doing service the hours need to be updated by indicating what times you stop serving certain food items because this was very misleading and I wasted time and gas driving all the way over there when I was looking forward to my meal and was left disappointed. Ambience- other than this mishap, I would say that the environment is not very friendly. It's dry and transactional. Which is fine small talk is not necessary. I don't expect good customer service in Tucson EVER, but I do expect good food & items on the menu available during working hours for the price I pay. I did not feel welcomed or that I could sit down and enjoy my meal because that same girl that took our order was cleaning in between me and my drink while I was sitting at a table waiting for my food. The table did not need to be cleaned at that time. There was nothing on it. It was perfectly fine the way it was. Overall, the food is good, if you want good customer service just know that you are not gonna get it. They are not happy :-) going. To get it here they want people in and out. Which I do not mind. The food is good just on the oily side They do not serve all items within the hours that they indicate that they are open. so make sure to call ahead of time to avoid disappointment. I ordered a DoorDash order and tried adding extra syrup n powdered sugar which I've done a million times before with no up charge no issues... UNTIL I call and ask like I always do and not only did the girl answer had an attitude she was saying that there an up charge which I'd never had this problem before. Then when I try nd go onto the website to see if I can place a pick up order but even on there website there is no way to add any of the sides she was saying I need to pay so how is it she tells me I have to pay but there is no way to add it on. Hello! My experience here was not to my liking, walking in looking at the menu, my girlfriend and I order, I order the chicken sandwich and my girlfriend order the wings (cheapest option). They told me that the sandwich I ordered was not even on the menu even more and showed me a new sandwich they put on the menu. The new sandwich was a dollar more and was spicy. I chose to have the new sandwich with it not being spicy (that was an option) and to have extra pickles. Waiting for 12-15 minutes, we got out order to go, my girlfriend and I got our drinks and noticed how the taste was off on some of our favorites(specifically the sweet tea and the Dr Pepper). It tea tasted old and soda didn't even have any taste beside the carbonation! Upon entering our vehicle and looking at our food. I've noticed my chicken sandwich was spicy, had no tomatoes (the waitress told me the sandwich included pickles,lettuce, and tomatoes), and the chicken didn't even have a taste! I don't even know how they pulled it off but the lettuce...was overcooked! I was greeted with brown lettuce! The fries they gave us with our combo (specifically the Cajun fries) tasted like they were kept warm for the majority of the time our food was working. The only good thing to come out of this was the wings, my girlfriend loves wings and seeing her eat and say it tastes good is good enough for me...however...we like to rate food after we eat it and she rated the fries higher than the wings!
