This is our go-to place for pizza and beer on the NW side. We drive down here from OV because the pizza is slightly better here than the location in Rancho Vistoso. The service is great, the beer is cold and the pizza comes out piping hot. The dining area is kinda dark, and with lots of TV's showing sports programs it can be a little loud, but not bad. The toppings are always fresh, and we like the flavor of their sausage and pepperoni. We always get a large enough pie that we have leftovers for lunch the next day. We regularly get delivery and the service is always great. The driver arrives quickly and the food is fresh. Our favorites are the house salad, buffalo wings, and any pizza. We've had them all and they're so good! They have a delicious sauce, chewy crust, and always fresh toppings. We also call ahead for pizza for our family dinners and parties. Met a few friends here to watch the Eagles WIN!! I digress. The service was good, as they were REALLY busy. Breakfast pizza was yummy, (even the next day as leftovers). Overall this pizza is not too bad. It's nothing amazing but it's not horrible either. Just your typical average pie. This is based off Chicago style pizza so they offer deep dish and thin crust cut into squares instead of slices. They offer make your own pizza which is what I had, pepperoni, bacon and black olives. The smallest size they offer is 12" so for a single person I definitely had leftovers which were just as good. Wait staff was friendly and accomodating and the ambiance was fun, albeit a little noisy. If you want a decent choice for pizza I recommend Rosati's! read more

Service is friendly. Servers work together to provide prompt service. The energy level and accompanying noise level were charged as the crowd cheered on the AZ Wildcats. Zucchini is hot and good. We had a thin crust pizza which is always good. I would pass on the Caesar salad next time - the lettuce didn't taste washed. Our pizza was delivered to another table. This is our second time having Rosarti's and our first time at this location. We got a Chicago style pizza with half pepperoni and peppers, fried zucchini, and a salad. For some reason this trip didn't make the same impression on me. I felt like the pizza lacked pepperoni. The zucchini was flavorless and the portion was very small. The salad was just ok. However I felt like it was a good value as one slice pizza was enough to get full off of especially when you're eating something else with it. read more

Food was excellent. However, It took over an hour to get to my table. Granted, it appeared to be a busy night, and I was dining alone, so I wasn't expecting super-personal service. But the problem with the delay was not being communicated to me. My server brought the problem to the attention of the Manager, who didn't appear too concerned. To top it off, as I was still fuming after an hour and a half, he walked directly in front of me, glanced at my plate, and didn't have the courtesy to make eye contact or offer any kind of explanation or apology. He needs a lesson in customer management at least, and possibly overall restaurant management as well. I hope the corporate office is aware of his incompetence and will replace him. read more

Went there for dinner on a Sunday evening. Five of us, three ordered salads and two ordered sandwiches and fries. The salads arrived about an hour after being seated but after another 45 minutes we asked for the two sandwiches to be packed to go since three of us were done eating. The waitress was very attentive but the kitchen was obviously too busy watching the U of A game to bother with making food. Spent $100+ to take half the meal home. read more

I enjoyed my Chicago style pizza with Italian sausage, mushrooms and green pepper. Was it the best I've had? No. But was it good - and did it satisfy my craving for Chicago style pizza until I get back to the Midwest? Yes. The fried mushrooms were the bomb too, but no stout on tap to wash it down with I'm sad to say (Guinness in a bottle? Ewww!). My waiter was so sweet and helpful so that was nice. Though I was told by the bartender when I first walked in I could not watch the women's bball game on one of the 3 big TVs you can normally watch from the bar (they had the same pgm going on 2 but only 2 people at one end and another at far end of bar as it was 1:30 on a weekday and I called ahead to be sure I could watch the game on ESPN to which he said, "sure"--so not sure why I couldn't sit at the one of the 5 empty seats at the bar and watch the middle tv ...He said to sit at the huge table (by myself) in front of the huge screen. Ok. I don't know. I would've rather have sat at the bar, but whatever. I guess it's his bar. I did spend $50 in there tho so having my first choice of where to sit would've been nice. I've been there before with friends when it was packed. I like the big tables for those occasions - not when I'm there to catch a game by myself. I had eaten pizza at Rosati's a a couple of years ago and found it pretty good at the bar for lunch. Called in a large pizza to go and was surprised at the price. $25.00 seemed high, but if was at least good, probably would not complain. Got the pizza home and was shocked at the quality and flavor. Sauce was tasteless and cheese was a congealed mass on top. Since we had planned on eating the pizza for dinner. We ate less than half of the pizza and ended up throwing the rest out. Honestly felt like a waste of money, and can not recommend the product we bought. I may be biased as I am used to New York and New Haven style pizza, But still it felt way short of what I expected. This place was great. We came in at almost 10 pm and were quickly seated and served. It was much better than Trident right in front which we ate at last week. I would definitely recommend Rosati's. Fish was mushy. I think fish rectangle was made from minced fish. It was not good. Do not get fish fry there unless you like disappointment. If they have good pizza, they should stick with that. How to improve? Be honest about what menu item is. If it's not a fish filet or made from fresh fish, put on the menu that it is a frozen filet made from minced fish. You can get really good fish at another restaurant right near this location (in same parking lot) for 5 cents more. It's on their menu all year long, not just for Lenten Season. read more

I was looking for a place around Marana that made Mozzarella casseroles (aka Chicago Deep Dish). I will lay the disclaimer first. Im from NY. Yeah, sorry.. So, I discovered Rosatis. I went online and ordered their "Chicago 14" for my wife and son. Sausage, pepperoni, spinach. Rolled it up, and it was like 31$. I was like: "Dang! Pricy! This better be friggin good." I show up since they won't deliver to my zip code. It comes out. I pick it up. No exaggeration. This pie weighed 10lbs. I look at the lady like, "Is this a joke?" I get this casserole home and hand it to wifey. I get the look. "You kidding me??" I'm like, "Nope. That's dinner." So we opened the casserole box. It didn't disappoint. Somehow, I managed 3 slices of this boat anchor. All jokes aside, this thing was really good. If any critiques, maybe the crust could be more buttery. The deep dish pizza seemed to be way overloaded with sauce even for Chicago style, while the thin crust pizza is more like Flatbread with a weird combo of barbecue sauce and tomato sauce for the Hawaiian. They have been serving pizza for many years, yet the waitress did not bring bigger plates for the giant slices. The salad plates are just too small. My family and I absolutely love Rosati's pizza! My review is based solely on carry out and it has been excellent every time! We enjoy the thin crust pizza and are usually simple with toppings, pepperoni or sausage! We recently had friends over that requested straight up cheese pizza and it was super delicious! When pizza is still stellar without hiding behind toppings, that's saying something! The customer service is always great and it is a welcoming place! We love the fun holiday decorations they do, whether for Halloween or Christmas, etc. Goals in 2023 are to actually eat in, instead of taking it to go! Food was good, but service was terrible. Went on a week day and there were 5-6 people at bar, but only 2 other tables(each only a party of 2)with customers. We waited 10-15 minutes after being seated for waitress to come. Then when food came we were given 1 napkin & a set of silverware. Waitress said she was going to get napkins, after several minutes napkins were delivered, but no other set of silverware. Finished our lunch to wait again for lengthy amount of time. When waitress passed by, we asked for 2 boxes and our bill. She came back and proceeded to box up both of our lunches, touching the food with her bare hands!! After she touched all our food, these went to the trash. She then took our plates and didn't come back with bill, so had to wait again. Started with fried mushrooms served hot with ranch plenty of them. Penne with sausage on the side, the chief Italian beef with mozzarella and the Chicago dog with cheese frys. Penne was well cooked and came with a great sauce and plenty of cheese Italian beef nice bun packed with meat and mozzarella the au jus hot and just thick enough. Chicago dog was small but the dog itself had great flavor and nice fresh toppings. The second you walk in, you are greeted with the delicious and warm smells of a classic pizza place. It was so nice and inviting. They greeted us right away and got us sat. Our server was so bubbly and accommodating, and made sure we had everything we needed. We got the dough nuggets, which I highly recommend. The perfect combination of dough and garlic. . We got the 12" Fabulous Four pizza and it was SO cheesy and delicious. They did have a bit of an issue when their card system went down, so we were stuck there for about 15 extra minutes. Huge amount of toppings, all fresh and pizza was deemed old style delicious, crust got a little soggy with all the toppings but did not detract from the overall taste. My wife and I recently went to Rosati's and were very disappointed. I ordered a sausage sandwich with peppers and onions. I should have realized not to order it when they menu said it came with Ajus or marinara sauce. The peppers were raw and cold and came on the side, the onions were grilled slightly and a side dish also along with the marinara. My wife ordered chicken parmigiana sandwich which was OK but nothing special. The waitress tried really hard pushing drinks on us but as we don't drink, we just had water. They also had no Coke a Cola products, just Pepsi as an option. It took about 35 minutes for the two sandwiches to be served, portions were small and way overpriced. Atmosphere was not so good as it was very loud and overindulged bar patrons were using vulgar language which seemed to be the norm.
